For example, the garden dahlia, according to one legend, named after the gardener George, who secretly took a beautiful flower from the royal palace and gave it to his beloved. Dahlia comes in different shades and shapes. It can be seen in interior decor and holiday floristry. In needlework using various materials, the dahlia becomes a theme for jewelry: hair clips, brooches, headbands.

In this “Cross” master class we will make a headband with flowers with our own hands. We will make a flower, namely a dahlia, from foamiran.

For work we will need the following materials:

• Beige foamiran (thin – 1 mm)
• Foamiran green (thickness 2 mm)
• Sheet template
• Compass
• Acrylic red paint
• Flat brush
• Scissors
• Ruler (at least 20 cm)
• Toothpick (needle)
• Hot glue gun
• Hair band

A headband with flowers made from foamiran will perfectly complement a summer look. If you plan to wear it with a specific outfit, then think about the color scheme in advance!

Cut out the template.

Using a toothpick (or a needle), we draw beige foamiran into squares: we need 16 squares 2.5 × 2.5 cm and 82 pcs. size 2x2 cm.

Cut them and separate the squares by size.

Take a 2x2 cm square and roll it up into a ball (roll it into a cone shape). Apply hot glue to the edge and secure the bag. The result is a petal-like detail:

We leave 3 pieces. for the middle, and make all the other petals in a similar way (the same goes for 2.5x2.5 cm squares).

From the three remaining squares we make the following blanks: twist from one corner to the opposite one, secure with glue and cut the resulting part into 2 parts - these will be the smallest petals, for the middle of the dahlia. There are 6 of them.

We cut out two circles from green foamiran (R1 = 2.7 cm, R2 = 2.3 cm): put a compass with a pencil in the center, and draw a circle with a needle.

We try not to press too hard in the middle so that the holes are not visible from the other side. You can take a hard pencil; it will not leave bright dots.

Take a larger circle. We step back a little from the intended middle point on the circle and first glue the petals, which are made from large squares. The petal protrudes 1 cm beyond the edge of the circle. Glue the second petal opposite the first.

Glue two more petals, approximately in the middle between the first ones glued. It turns out 4 petals.

Glue 4 more petals between the ones already glued. Makes 8 pieces.

The remaining 8 pcs. We distribute large petals between the glued ones.

First row of 16 pieces. ready.

Glue the petals of the second row, placing them between the petals of the first. We use 16 pcs.

Second row

We continue the third (16 pcs.), fourth row (15 pcs.).

The number of petals in each row may vary depending on how you arrange them. Therefore, in the description it is approximate. But with each row their number decreases.

We glue the petals closer to the center by 2 mm each row. The fifth row consists of 13–14 petals.

In order not to get confused about the number of petals in a row, you can put a toothpick in the first one, and put a petal in the one that has just been glued. And reposition it every time a new one is glued.

Sixth row (approximately 10–12 pieces).

Seventh row (6 pcs.)

Now we fill the middle with the smallest petals (about 6 pieces).

Flower headbands look more realistic if you add a few leaves. We outline the leaves using a toothpick.

Cut it out and draw veins.

Lightly tint.

Turn the flower over and glue the leaf, slightly short of the middle.

Glue the second sheet.

To make a headband using flowers from foamiran, the master class of which is quite simple, you initially need to prepare special materials and tools.

Namely:

• Dry pastel;

Then you need to cut out 2 ovals for the base. Make several cuts on one oval and thread it into the prepared rim, and attach the second base to the first.

You need to glue roses onto the prepared base, as well as additional decorations to completely cover the entire space of the base. On the opposite side of the headband you need to decorate the base with lace.

To make such a headband you will need:

• Purple, yellow and olive foamiran;
• Template paper;
• Toothpicks;

Initially, you need to prepare all the required templates for leaves and petals. For the petal, you need to draw on paper 1.5 cm wide and 2 cm high. The leaves can be made in any shape, the most important thing is that they fit the overall composition. Then you need to cut out a lot of petals from purple foamiran, and prepare the middle from yellow material. To make the middle, you need to cut a strip 2 cm wide and cut it into fringe, slightly short of the edge. The strips should be quite thin.

To make the petals, you need to place the blanks on a preheated iron, and then twist them a little. Cut the wire into equal lengths of approximately 3 centimeters and attach a small strip of fringe to one end.

After this, you need to fasten the petals one at a time around the fringe, distributing them evenly, so that you end up with a beautiful flower. Each flower should have 3 petals. When everything is ready, you need to prepare the leaves from olive foamiran in the same way.

Leaves and flowers must be attached sequentially. First you need to attach several leaves to the rim, and then glue flowers on them. The ends of the wire should be strictly located on the same line, and the reverse side of the rim should be very beautiful and neat. When all the flowers are secured, you need to cover the wire with several leaves. The headband can be complemented with a beautiful ribbon if only part of it is filled with flowers.

To begin with, we suggest making a very simple, but quite cute headband with white flowers from foamiran. It turns out very delicate and therefore ideal for a romantic spring look.

For this product you will need:

• Foamiran (white and lilac).
• Awl.
• Scissors.
• Headband.
• Flower hole punch (diameter 1 cm).
• Cardboard (for template).
• The stamens are white.
• The tape is brown.
• Wire (for making stems).
• Glue gun.
• Berries in sugar (white).

Each flower is collected by hand, and there will be many flowers in the rim. So stay focused and get ready for a lot of hard work. First, prepare the wire - it is cut into pieces of equal length (4 cm). After this, take lilac foamiran and use a hole punch to make 60 blanks. Each flower takes 3 blanks, that is, the headband will be decorated with 20 such flowers.

Once all the blanks are made, you can proceed to assembling the decoration. Immediately put 3 pieces on the wire. Apply a little glue to the end of the wire and compress the first layer around it. The wire should be hidden under the material. We attach the second to the first layer, and attach the bottom to the middle one.

The painstaking work does not end there. Now it’s the turn of white foamiran. On a cardboard with a diameter of 25 by 25 mm you need to draw a flower and carefully cut it out. You will get a template on the basis of which 30 white blanks are cut out.

We cut the wire again and twist its ends into loops. Then we roll each petal with our hands in different directions - such manipulations will make the petals voluminous. White blanks are collected by analogy with purple ones.

Now you can start assembling the entire rim. Its end is wrapped with tape (by the way, its shade can be chosen to suit your taste). When the rim is wrapped 5 cm, they begin to attach the flowers - first the berry, then the white flower. Then secure with tape. This is followed by two purple elements side by side. Between them are stamens in a bouquet of 5 pieces. In the same sequence, the composition is stretched across the entire rim. At the end of the weaving there should be the same elements as at the beginning.

As you can see, nothing complicated. The main thing is to be patient and take your time. The result is a hair accessory that will pleasantly refresh your look.

Master class No. 2. Original headband with crocuses

To make a beautiful hair decoration, we suggest making your own crocuses, which simply look great on the headband.

Purchase everything you need in advance:

• Foamiran in three colors (greenish, yellow, purple).
• Wire.
• Tweezers.
• Regular iron.
• Toothpick.
• Paper for preparing the template.
• Scissors.
• Metal rim.
• Glue gun.

You need to make the drawings of leaves and petals for the template yourself. It's not difficult at all. Draw a droplet 2 cm high and 1.5 cm wide. And you will get a flower petal. As for the leaves, they will be cut out randomly in the process of creating a decorative composition.

Next we take foam to make petals. First, cut a strip 2.2 cm wide (2 cm is the height of the petals, and 0.2 cm is the allowance). At the very beginning of the strip, we outline the template with a toothpick and fold the foam like an accordion along the width of the petal. This technique allows you to cut several blanks at the same time, greatly facilitating the work.

The next stage is making the middle. For this purpose, take yellow foamiran. We cut a strip from the material, its width should be 2 cm. We make a fringe on it, not reaching the edge. Try to keep the strips very thin.

Then you need to iron the petal blanks. If you are not in a hurry, take each petal with tweezers and apply it to the heated surface of the iron. If desired, this painstaking process can be accelerated, and in a very simple way. Take the iron in one hand, pointing the sole upward, and with the other hand place several petals on it. After a couple of seconds, turn the iron over and the processed workpieces will fall onto the table.

Then we take the wire cut into three-centimeter pieces. At one end we attach a yellow fringe strip. We immediately begin to secure the petals one by one, trying to distribute them evenly. Each flower will consist of three petals. Try to prepare as many flowers as you will need a lot of them for an effective decoration. It is likely that you will want to decorate the entire headband with flowers.

We cut out the leaves from green foamiran; they should not be longer than 5 cm. They must be processed in the same way as the petals.

When all the decorative elements have been prepared, we move on to composing the composition. To decide where the flowers will be, apply the headband to the head.

At the very beginning of the composition, we attach several leaves for the base.

After this, there should be no difficulties in your work. We simply alternate flowers and leaves. At the same time, try to ensure that the ends of the wire are concentrated along the line of the rim, and its reverse side is neat.

Of course, such work requires time and effort. But the result is worth it, because... you will receive an unusual and very stylish decoration.

MK No. 3. Headband with red flowers for the New Year.

Celebrating the New Year is a special event for which people begin to prepare in advance. When thinking through the details of your holiday look, pay attention to your hairstyle. For example, you can decorate your hair with an original handmade headband, and then you will definitely be the center of attention.

To make an unusual decoration for the New Year holidays, you will need the following tools and materials:

• Tape.
• The stamens are red.
• Wire (thick and thin).
• Compass.
• Cardboard.
• Glue.
• Red satin ribbon.
• Foamiran in three colors (green, pink, red).
• Big beads.
• Large black beads.
• Pastel brown, red.
• Brush.
• Gold paint.
• Large gold bead.
• Glue gun.
• Scissors.
• Beads.
• Other decorative elements (golden).

Make the decoration as follows. Take measurements along the rim and prepare three pieces of wire. Moreover, the thickness should be such that the rods are suitable for the base of the rim. Two wire rods must be wrapped with brown tape. And when you start wrapping the third wire, weave the stamens into it (they should be directed in different directions).

The ends of the rods are glued together so that they diverge in width and connect at one point. Then the wire is given the required shape and again the three ends are combined at one point. A red ribbon (20 cm) is attached to each end with glue, then a tape is taken and wrapped around the fastening area.

The basis of this composition is a flower and rose hips. These elements are made from foamiran. First, cut the wire, you should get 15 cm pieces. Twist a large bead (black) in the middle. Then they string a large bead (any shade) and glue it onto the bead.

Next, take a small cardboard (diameter 4 cm) and prepare a template. Then the template is traced 5 times on red foam and circles are cut. Then they string the faom in the center onto the ends of the wires. You need to wrap the bead in a circle and tie it with wire under the bead. Excess faum from above is carefully trimmed. The top is painted using pastels.

The leaves are quite simple to make - they are cut out randomly from green foamiran.

The flower will consist of two identical circles. The diameter of each is 7 cm. The circles are made of pink foam. Then they are divided into 6 sectors and cuts are made. The center should remain intact. The corners of each sector are cut so that it acquires a rounded shape. You will get petals, the edges of which are tinted with red pastel. To create volume, the petals need to be slightly stretched. As an additional decoration, gold paint is used - rays are painted on the petals.

The next stage is composing the composition. First, prepare a base of leaves. Moreover, elements of different sizes need to be distributed evenly. On top are stamens, rose hips, and any gold decorative elements. All this is attached towards the center. It is very important that the two compositions look in different directions. In addition, you need to connect two layers of petals. The flower is placed in the center. At the same time, try to mask all the flaws with the lower petals so that no one notices them.

Before attaching the entire composition, carefully consider a suitable place for it. To do this, you need to take measurements first. Remember that the distance between the rods should be approximately 5 mm. Therefore, straighten them and fix the flower in this position. On the other hand, you need to cover everything with a large green leaf made of foam. But he should not go beyond the composition.

And to complete the work - the final touch. The lower leaves are glued to the twigs, which helps cover all internal imperfections. That's all, the wonderful New Year's headband is ready! Wear it to holiday celebrations and enjoy your bright image!

Now we will draw patterns for the flowers. The petals are similar in shape to a droplet, measuring 6 x 5.5 cm, 4 x x 5.5 cm and 3.5 x 4.5 cm. And you will need 2 more flower templates with 6 petals with a diameter of 6 cm and 4.5 cm.

Now let's start cutting out the blanks. We take peach-colored suede and use templates to make all three sizes of petals, 24 pieces each. Then from the same suede we cut out 3 flowers with a diameter of 6 cm. And flowers with a diameter of 4.5 cm we cut out 10 pieces from white material. From pink suede we additionally cut 9 pieces of droplets measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm

It remains to cut 3 strips of green material measuring 13 x 2 cm. Divide them in half, and then divide the resulting rectangles diagonally, from corner to corner.

We will treat all peach-colored petals with a dry bed of lilac shade along the wide edge of the blanks on both sides, using wet wipes.

We paint droplets of three sizes, 24 pieces each.

The other 3 blanks of a peach-colored flower with a diameter of 6 cm are tinted with red pastel, just the edges. And the flowers are made of white suede according to a template with a diameter of 4.5 cm. There will be 10 of them and in the middle of each blank we paint a yellow circle. Give it time to dry.

We do the same with small white flowers.

For peach-colored petals, processing is more difficult; we will use a lighter. You need to make waves along the wide edge. We heat a small gap of suede with fire and make a bend with our fingers while the material is warm. There should be three waves. Then we heat it from below at the thin edge of the workpiece and press it deep with our fingers, making a boat shape.

All that remains is to process the green leaves. We put several pieces together with the thin edge up and scroll it with our fingers, do not grab the wide part of the workpiece.

Now we collect flowers for decoration. Take white blanks, 10 medium-sized beads and cut the floral wire 8 cm long.

Then we make a small bend on one edge of the wire so that the bead does not come off.
