We cut out the template for the future cover, placing the book block on cardboard (or other dense material), which will become the basis of the “cover”. We need two cardboards of the same size. And narrow cardboard for the spine. The width of the spine is equal to the thickness of the book block.

Advice: To get a more voluminous cover, use a soft spacer between the cardboard and the wrapper.

Now we cut the pre-selected fabric wrapper to the desired size.
