Leopard manicure in unexpected colors. Leopard manicure - animal print nail design: photo and video tutorials Leopard nails

Cytomegalovirus

Many girls have a leopard print swimsuit or dress in their wardrobe. Not surprisingly, leopard nail designs are also in high demand. Even beginners can recreate the tiger print on their nails. This manicure looks equally good on short nails and on long ones.

Don't mistakenly assume what animal prints(leopard, zebra, etc.) can only be decorated in natural colors. They are increasingly seen in a completely unexpected performance. The spots can be calm beige or stand out in bright red. Each fashionista decides for herself what color she wants to create a leopard print manicure.

How to make a spotted pattern on the nails

First, decide how you will make such a design - using regular varnishes or gel polish. Of course, in the latter case, the pattern will last much longer, delighting you with its beauty. Nails can also be any - any length, any shape, extended or natural.

Then carefully prepare your nails. Remove the cuticle, process the side rollers. File your nails, moving the nail file in exactly one direction so as not to injure the plate. Sand the plates with a buff if you decide to use gel polish.

Next, prepare the varnishes you need, an orange stick or a thin brush and acrylic paints. Everything should be at your fingertips. It is worth noting that if the ornament is drawn by hand, then it looks more elegant and natural. But if you don't have experience, then ordinary varnishes and an orange stick are suitable for a start.

Consider the option with gel polishes:

As you can see, there is nothing complicated here. If you wish and have the necessary materials, you will quickly master the technique of applying an animal print on the nails.

Leopard jacket

You can make a French version with a "leopard". It looks stylish and elegant. You can make it with rhinestones. Only rhinestones should be added in small quantities so as not to overload the nails.

The office option might look like this:

  1. Get a classic manicure.
  2. Apply after the base the main calm shade (beige or pale pink).
  3. Highlight the smile zone with animal spots.

Or make a classic version of the jacket, but decorate the ring fingers on both hands with an animal print.

And for a holiday or a party, make a bright leopard jacket. Love to be the center of attention? Then the main color will be red. But remember that both red and animal print are a bit aggressive on their own. Do not overdo it and do not create a repulsive design on your nails.

Requirements for short and long nails

Of course, any animal print looks attractive on long nails. But owners of short nails should not be upset either. They just should not cover all fingers with such patterns. It is enough to draw two fingers with them, adding pebbles or sparkles to the pattern.

At the same time, the shape of the nails can also be any - rounded will add to the image of femininity, and square is more durable. Therefore, the form is selected individually, depending on the preferences of the girl.

Stamping manicure

Stamping is a unique technique with which you can transfer a variety of designs to your nails. Animal ornament is no exception here. You will need to buy a stamping kit, which includes:

  • several boards with different images;
  • silicone or rubber stamp;
  • scraper;
  • special varnishes with high pigmentation.

But it is better to purchase all this separately, because you will need a board with a specific image.

Making a manicure using this technique will be very simple. But you must first practice transferring the drawing to artificial tips, since the special varnish dries quickly - you have no more than ten seconds to transfer the image. Then the already dried varnish will not grab the surface of the stamp or nail.

Of course, these are far from the only ways to create such an interesting and individual design. Acrylic modeling paired with a "leopard" is also used. And if you don’t want to mess around with drawing or stamping for a long time, then you can buy special stickers with the image you need. Now you can even order sliders with a specific image.

Transferring the sticker to the nail is easy, but some skill is required. To make the sticker on the gel polish last longer, you need to cover it with two layers of top coat on top. By the way, with its help you can diversify manicure. The top is glossy and matte. With each of them, the same manicure will look different.

Do not be afraid to experiment and recreate the most unexpected designs on your nails. Show your individuality and imagination.

Leopard is a bright print that gives the image a little rapacity, sexuality and charm. It has long ceased to decorate only clothes, but has gradually moved to numerous details: shoes, accessories and nails. So conspicuous and beautiful, many find it too difficult to perform on their own. If you figure out how to make a leopard manicure yourself, then everything will turn out to be much easier than it seemed at first.

Basic tools for creating a manicure

Before you start painting the much coveted leopard spots on your nails, you need to prepare in advance all the necessary tools that will be needed in the process.

Lucky

The first is a set of varnishes. You need to immediately decide which color will become the base, and which will be the spots themselves. To make leopard nails close to the classics by choosing brown tones, or to focus on contrasting tones - this is already a matter of personal preference. The white base looks good - absolutely all colors are suitable for it, moreover, the spots do not have to be the same color: it will be original if you make them different and bright. In addition to them, a leopard is unthinkable without black varnish.

Fine brush, needle, toothpick or special manicure pen

A large set is provided to choose from, depending on what will be more convenient to work with. All of them are required for one purpose - to draw spots and frame them with black. A manicure pen in this regard is one of the most convenient tools, you can buy it at any specialized place, but with improvised means, leopard nails will turn out no worse.

Leopard print manicure options

So that you refresh your memory of the desired pattern and have a good idea of \u200b\u200bwhat is to be recreated on the nails, I have prepared a small collection of leopard prints to use as a sample.

Print samples

As you can see, leopard manicure can be done in different colors, as well as with different frequency and size of the pattern - more on that below. And right now we will analyze classic (black-brown) leopard manicure on short nails.

For a classic leopard manicure you will need:

  • Nail polishes, 3 pcs uki: light brown; dark brown; the black
  • Toothpicks, 2 pieces
  • Scissors
  • Palette (any surface that you don’t mind getting dirty, even a sheet of paper. In my case, this is a sheet of polyethylene)
  • Base coat, topcoat (optional)

Leopard manicure step by step

0. Standard preparatory step: do a hygienic manicure, apply base coat to protect nails (optional).

1. Apply to nails light brown background, if necessary - in several layers.

2. Preparing toothpicks. We'll need one toothpick for the big brown spots and one for the smaller black details. Therefore, we take one toothpick and cut off about 3 millimeters from its end with scissors - thus we will make the tip more blunt and wider, and it will give wider spots on the nails. Cut the second toothpick (for drawing black details) from the end by 1 millimeter.

3. Let's start creating dark brown spots. We drip a drop of dark brown varnish onto the palette, dip the first (more severely cut) toothpick into it and with trampling movements (not smearing! For this is not a brush) we print spots of arbitrary shape on the nail. Remember to leave enough spaces between the spots (we will still need to fit the black elements there).

4. Finally, we complement the manicure black elements of leopard pattern. We take the second toothpick (with a thinner tip), drip on a palette of black varnish, and draw the following elements on the nails:

  1. "Parentheses" () : around part of the spots we draw semicircular elements similar to brackets on both sides.
  2. "Semistroke" C : some of the spots are circled along the contour by about half - three quarters of the perimeter to get black elements that resemble the letter "C" in shape.
  3. "Underline" | or ) : bring some of the spots on one side with a short black stroke. It can be straight or rounded.
  4. "Black Blobs" ~:in the remaining large gaps, we apply small black strokes or spots of arbitrary shape (from two or three "stuck together" dots).

As a result, around each dark brown spot, you should have one of the elements a-c drawn. The remaining gaps are filled with elements d. At the end of this step, the design on your nails should take on the desired "leopard" look.

5. Leave the finished leopard print to dry completely, after which we apply fixing coating or clear varnish to protect the pattern and last longer.

Congratulations, from now on you are the owner of stylish leopard nails!

Playing with colors and sizes

As I said above, in a leopard manicure, you can vary the colors, as well as the size and density of the spots of the leopard pattern.

In case of flowers the rule is as follows: you take any light varnish + any darker varnish + black or very dark varnish. The first of them will go to the background, the second one will be used for spots, we will finish the details with black. The first two polishes can be swapped, but make sure the light polish is strong enough in color to stand out against the darker background.

If you want to experiment with frequency and size of leopard spots, toothpicks should be replaced with a set of purchased dotters or any. With their help, you can draw spots of any size - both fatter and smaller and more frequent.

Here are the results of my own experiments:

1) Leopard manicure in purple tones with a small print. Varnishes used: lilac, purple, black; a paper clip (for stains) and a clerical pin (for black parts) were used as dotters. More photos of this manicure.

2) Black-red-silver leopard manicure with large spots. Varnishes: silver, red, black. As dotters, a thick ballpoint pen refill (for red spots) and a clipped toothpick (for black parts) were used. Big photo .

Varnishes: blue, black. The spots were drawn with a toothpick. Scotch tape was also used to create even black tips. Big photo .

4) White and blue leopard manicure with small spots and a gradient. The peculiarity is that in front of the leopard print, a light blue gradient is superimposed on a white background. Unfortunately, the light blue lacquer turned out to be so light that it is almost invisible in the photo. If white-blue background transitions are still visible on your screen, then keep in mind that this is due to the gradient (how to apply it is described).

Varnishes: white, light blue, light blue, black. The print was drawn with a paper clip and a toothpick. Big photo .

The features of this design are that, firstly, the leopard print is not placed on the entire surface of the nails, but in pre-selected areas; secondly, in softening the overall color scheme of the manicure by mixing all the varnishes with white. Varnishes were mixed before application, on a palette, in a ratio of 1:1 (one drop of colored or black varnish + one drop of white), and stirred with a toothpick. The result is soft spots framed in gray. Although if you have muted varnishes in your arsenal, you can do without mixing.

Varnishes: white, black and several colors. The print was drawn with a toothpick. Big photo .

6) Dark manicure with color spots based on leopard print. Of course, there is not much left of the leopard, but the principle of creating a manicure is the same. As in option No. 4, a color gradient is made on the background, which gives an overflow effect. Next, multi-colored spots are applied in leopard technique. When applied over a clear varnish/fixer, a Murano glass effect is obtained.

Varnishes: black, dark pink, orange, yellow, green. The spots were drawn with a toothpick. Big photo .

How to make leopard nails: step by step instructions, photos, videos

Fashionable leopard print can decorate both everyday and festive manicure. It is not at all difficult to perform even in the absence of any drawing skills on the nails. The main thing is accuracy and the availability of a sufficient amount of time, since it will not work very quickly to make leopard nails, because we will draw every speck with our own hands.

You will need a thin brush to paint on the nails, black polish to paint the edging of the spots, a clear fixative polish that will cover each nail at the end for extra shine. You will also need a base polish of any color and varnish to paint the leopard spots themselves.

As for the colors of the leopard manicure, it can be very different, ranging from the standard brown and black in the style of an animal print to any other. Leopard spots look beautiful on a white or beige background.

How to make a leopard manicure: step by step instructions

We will do a leopard print manicure in delicate pastel green-beige colors. You will need a beige base polish, a green lacquer to paint the spots and a black one to draw the edging. A clear top coat will also come in handy.

1. We cover the nails with beige varnish, wait for them to dry completely.

2. With green varnish and a brush, we put spots of different sizes on the nails. They don't have to be perfectly round or oval, let the pattern be a little messy for a more natural look. We are waiting for the spots to dry well.

3. We take a thin brush for drawing on nails or a black marker for nail art and begin to carefully draw a border around the spots. Do not circle the spots entirely, but draw them as if from two halves. If you are going to paint with a brush instead of a marker, put a drop of black varnish on the cap and dip the brush into this drop, not into the bottle. This is much more convenient, so you can pick up exactly as much polish as you need on the brush. You will have to trace a lot of spots, and the lines should be thin. By dipping the brush directly into the bottle, you will collect excess varnish on it, which you will have to constantly shake off.

4. Between large green spots, make a few small strokes of black varnish to give naturalness to the pattern and fill in large empty areas.

5. When the leopard spots are completely dry, coat your nails with a clear top coat to further strengthen the manicure and add shine to your nails.

Here are more examples of leopard manicure:

You can cover with a leopard pattern both all the nails on the hands, and only some of them. For example, you can paint four fingernails with pink polish, and one with white. And on this white nail, make a pattern of pink and black leopard spots. You can take other colors.

Here's how to make leopard nails. If you are uncomfortable drawing on your inactive hand yourself (for example, right-handers on the right), then you can ask someone to help you, or use a black marker for nail art. They are much easier to draw than with a brush. Good luck and beautiful nails!
