This year February 14th falls on a Saturday. February 14 is the day of all lovers, Valentine's Day! Many people scold this “bourgeois” and “not our” holiday, but millions of girls and boys prepare pleasant surprises for their significant other - cards, souvenirs in the shape of a heart or with “love” symbols, a romantic date or a candlelit dinner. No matter how snobs snort, every person on this day is waiting for a big miracle, well, at least an anonymous valentine. And since this love day will come on a day off, you can give gifts and surprises right in the morning)))
Why not turn an ordinary breakfast into a romantic one?

What do people usually eat for breakfast? Porridge, toast with jam, coffee, milk or orange juice, for me it’s either a sandwich or scrambled eggs. If you’re tired of both, then just boiled eggs and vegetables in the form of a salad. What could be simpler? It's nourishing, beautiful and tasty.
Chop vegetables, hard boil eggs, add salt and oil - can everyone do this?

But especially for Valentine’s Day, you can do one interesting thing with chicken eggs - there’s more than enough romanticism and cuteness))
The white of a freshly boiled egg is very plastic and pliable, and after cooling it “remembers” the shape it was given.
There are even special molds - a boiled egg is placed inside, closed and voila - the funny figurine is ready. The little snotty little bastards will appreciate it!)))
The photo was found on the Internet, and the molds themselves can be found in online stores.

But there is a perfectly homemade option - make a heart from an egg using improvised means. To do this you will need hot boiled eggs - they need to be peeled - this is a little difficult to do, because... both the shell and the white burn your fingers, but the operation is quite doable if you hold the egg with a napkin.
The hotter the egg, the more plastic it is and the faster it will take the desired shape. And it is absolutely not true that a hot egg is difficult to peel - if it really does not want to part with the shell, then you are lucky - the eggs are perfectly fresh!
What else is needed - a sushi stick or a wooden skewer, twine or thick threads, thick cardboard - it is better to use a milk bag - it is smooth inside and the egg does not stick.

Fold the cardboard in half and measure it to the size of the egg; it should protrude slightly above the edge of the cardboard.
We put a stick on top and tie it to the cardboard. We do the same with the second end. Since the egg protrudes above the cardboard, the stick is pressed into the white.
We leave these strange structures until they cool completely (the process can be speeded up by placing the blanks in the refrigerator or in ice water).

Once it has cooled down, we disassemble it and get this result:

You can cut it in half into two pieces, or make several slices, eat it simply sprinkled with salt or add vegetables - the perfect salad!

Well, a few not my ideas with a “heartfelt” theme:
You can make breakfast from an egg and sausage like this (to be honest, I haven’t tried it, so I don’t know what will happen in the “expectation/reality” pair):

There are also molds and even a special frying pan for eggs.

It doesn’t matter whether we’re talking about cooking or something else, but the most surprising thing is always the encounter of a familiar and completely ordinary thing in a new form. "How? Is this really it!?” - bursts out involuntarily when we are shown, for example, a heart-shaped egg decoration: “How did they do that? Can't be!" Maybe, friends, today we will tell you how an ordinary hard-boiled egg will become a real hit on any table!

How to make an egg decoration

The appetizer, as if straight out of the paintings of Salvador Dali, captivating with its surrealism, is actually quite simple to prepare. In addition to the raw egg, prepare the following simple equipment in advance:

Preparation:

As you can see, making an egg decoration is very simple. Difficulties may arise only when securing the stick with rubber bands, but if you notice that “there are not enough hands,” call someone to help you and hold the cardboard. It is also equally important to observe the temperature regime - it is responsible for the proper elasticity of the egg white at the beginning and its strength at the end.

If we are preparing not one, but several of these decorations, it makes sense to stock up on at least a couple of cardboards and sticks in advance, and we will have to take turns taking the eggs out of the boiling water. It doesn’t matter if some of them lie in the water for not 10 minutes, but 15 - it’s not scary to overcook, but you definitely won’t be able to give the desired shape to something that has cooled down in the shell.

No matter that Valentine's Day is just around the corner, the little joys of heart-shaped egg decorations will bring joy all year round!

By boiling a few pieces of egg hearts, we can make the weekend morning unforgettable by simply serving them to our loved one for breakfast with a cup of fragrant espresso.

Or we can surprise the whole family! Just imagine a child’s delight at the mere sight of such an unusual dish. If you involve little chefs in its preparation, do not tell them what will happen, let the original appearance of a dish familiar from early childhood be a surprise!

We have already prepared “cordial” breakfasts and afternoon snacks for those closest to us, and now let’s imagine how impressive a dozen of these halves will look, laid out around canapés or, for example, cold cuts. What if you stuff the eggs? This dish will become a real decoration for any table.

Of course, it will take us more time to create stuffed hearts than regular ones, but it’s worth it. When preparing a large number of decorations, we will not only remove the eggs from the boiling water one at a time, but also boil them in batches.

If we need 10 eggs, and this is already 20 halves, we will boil them in batches of 5. This way we will not need any extra dishes or additional equipment - sticks and cardboard boxes. After the eggs are ready, cut them and then do everything as usual: take out the yolk, mix with any ingredients to taste and fill the recesses in the white again. No matter what we do, the shape of the heart will remain the same!

Heart-shaped egg decorations are not only simple and easy to make, but also fun and interesting. Thanks to its appearance, such a dish will be a wonderful addition to a romantic or family breakfast, or to a gourmet table. Try it and share your impressions!

A wonderful holiday is approaching, a holiday of romance and tenderness - Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day. For your loved ones, your soul mates, you want to make this holiday special, unforgettable.

On this day we give our loved ones love valentines, flowers, chocolates, and arrange various pleasant surprises.

The best gift for a loved one is a surprise gift. You can prepare a romantic bath with red rose petals, or you can prepare a romantic dinner, from which your significant other will simply be delighted, and make this festive evening unforgettably happy.

I suggest you prepare a surprise from eggs - in the shape of hearts. What could be even more beautiful on Valentine's Day than giving a symbol of the holiday!

To make an egg heart, you will need:

egg – 1 pc.
twig – 1 pc.
elastic bands – 2 pcs.
cardboard

How to make a heart from an egg:

1. Take an egg, boil it, after making sure that there are no cracks on it. Boil the egg hard, adding a few teaspoons of salt to the water, which will prevent the shell from cracking and the white from leaking out when boiling the egg. Place the egg in cold water to make the shell easier to remove. But don't leave the egg in cold water for too long! Carefully peel the egg. It is necessary that the protein is not peeled off along with the shell. Do not cool the egg completely, otherwise this trick will not work. The egg should be warm.
2. Take a small piece of cardboard or thick paper, you can take a Whatman paper, and bend it in the middle. Place the egg in the resulting fold-pocket.

We take a twig (wooden stick), place it on top of the egg and press our egg firmly with it. We do this carefully so that the egg does not crumble.

3. Take thick elastic bands and wrap the ends of the twig to the cardboard. Leave the egg in this preparation for some time so that it cools down. As the egg cools, it will take on a shape a little like a coffee bean, with a notch in the middle. Gently flatten it with your fingers along the edges.

4. Remove the rubber bands, remove the twig and remove the egg from the cardboard pocket. At this stage, the egg will not yet look like a heart.

Carefully cut the egg in half - now the cut looks very much like a heart.
