What is an advent calendar

"Advent" means "coming" in Latin, this word refers to the pre-Christmas period, when everyone is already looking forward to the holiday. Advent begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas, one of the traditions of this period is to give advent calendars with small gifts for every day. They are also called Christmas calendars, as a rule, this is a box with 24 windows - one for each day from December 1 to 24. Who Invented the Advent Calendar

The boy could look at a card with a number that matched the date and eat a treat, and the number of cards left showed how many days were left until Christmas.

When Heinrich became an adult, he printed the first advent calendar - with pictures that were hidden behind the date windows. This is how the Advent calendar appeared, but it became really popular later, in the middle of the last century, when another manufacturer made the first chocolate advent calendar.

This option is especially good for the impatient - you can hide a gift every day, and keep all the rest in a secluded place so that the one for whom you have prepared a surprise is not tempted to unfold everything ahead of time.

Svetlana Baboshina

Good day, dear colleagues, friends, guests of my page! I present to your attention a master class on making a calendar of nature with your own hands. After the renovation, I had a few ceiling tiles left, and I decided to put them to good use in my work with children. I made a calendar of nature in the form of a folder - a screen.

For work I needed:

1. ceiling tiles (laminated);

4. dense files (A-4 format);

5. double tape;

6. printed pictures;

7. stationery knife;

8. adhesive for ceiling tiles.

Let's get to work:

Stage 1.

With the mode at the ceiling tiles, all corners with a clerical knife.

Stage 2.

On the sides of the tile with an awl, we will make holes for further assembly of the product. We make them evenly on all sides.

Stage 3.

We fasten the tiles with a decorative cord or satin ribbon. We take 2 laces and pass them through the holes, we begin to weave (lacing). We tie the ends of the lace with a bow on the back of the folder.

Stage 4.

We decorate with a cord 2 sides of our folder - a screen. Processing the edges of the folder is even easier, wrap it with braid (as we sew with a needle over the edge). Glue the ends to the tile on the reverse side.

Stage 5

Using double tape, we fix the files - pockets on our tile. We glue all other elements with special glue for ceiling tiles.

Folder - weather calendar screen is ready!

In my folder - a screen (calendar of nature) - 3 sections:

1. We watch the weather. For younger children, you can glue the board to draw with a marker. Mark the weather with a marker, first with the help of a teacher, and then on your own. You can insert a landscape sheet with markings by day into a transparent file. Older children will mark the weather with the help of conventional symbols. This is very convenient - you can follow the weather for a certain period of time, followed by a comparison of the weather.

2. seasonal picture, with the time of year.

3. Birdwatching on site.

Here are pictures of birds. Next to the bird is a colored circle that corresponds to this particular bird. At the bottom of our tile is a transparent pocket. It contains small pieces of white paper with an outline of circles. Children mark on them the birds that they saw on a walk (paint over the circles with a certain color). Younger children do this with the help of a teacher.

You can supplement the calendar of nature with other sections.

For example: monitor plantings in the garden (in a group and on the street, displaying this on paper, and then inserting it into a pocket - a file. The entire path of growth and development of the plant will be traced here.

A folder - a screen can be placed in a corner of nature, put on a windowsill or in another place, or simply folded.

Older preschool children have difficulty understanding temporary representations. They are not systematic, they are vague. It is difficult to put in memory the proposed material. He doesn't understand them. And here the almighty visibility comes to the rescue. without which it is impossible to do in preschool age. But it is difficult to reflect all the material in clarity, but not impossible. I thought for a long time how such a huge material could be put in one stand. Here's what I got.

To start, I took thick cardboard. Covered it with wallpaper.

Downloaded images from the internet (Pictures seasons. months in one style) and printed on photo paper. Then, in accordance with the color arranged seasons, months, weeks, days of the week.

All this was done step by step with the children. In order for the stand to carry useful, "working" information, I inserted dials (the base was glued with the necessary information printed on self-adhesive paper "Days of the week", "Number", " Seasons","Weather condition","Clock".)

Children enjoy working with this visual aid every day. And this means children will better learn the material for the formation temporary representations. I think my material will be useful to other teachers. Good luck in learning to you and your children!

- Don't complain to the doctor
I treat freckles:
I'll cut off all the redheads,
I'll throw them in the grass!

Riddles about the autumn months
AT September school will open
Doors for merry children,

It will rain on the rooftops
Flocks of migratory birds

Lie down only in…

AT november puddles of ice
Mirror shine will bring
Outside the window and along the edges
We will hang feeders
And feed the bullfinch

Description of work:

1. Print maple leaves on colored paper. We select the color of the paper taking into account the autumn colors, these are shades of red, yellow, green and orange (9 large maple leaves, 9 medium ones, 29 small ones for a tree, 50 small leaves for decorating a frame). Cut out the leaves.
2. Outline the tree template on brown cardboard. We print out the hedgehog template and cut everything out.

3. Create the background of the picture. Glue the yellow sheet onto the cardboard.

4. Then glue the tree trunk closer to the right edge of the base of the picture.

5. The fun begins! We take large leaves and distribute them along the trunk of the tree. Glue the leaves. We apply glue to the middle of the maple leaf, this will give it a semi-volume.

6. Add medium leaves, complete the crown of the tree with small leaves.

7. Glue the hedgehog and leaves near the trunk. Be sure to glue the leaf on the hedgehog, this gives expressiveness to the picture.

8. Frame the picture with small maple leaves. For leaflets, it is better to take pale-colored paper so that the frame does not merge with the tree.

9. We print out the calendar of the autumn months, cut it out, fold it with a fan and fix it with a stapler.

10. Glue it on the picture, hide the bracket under the leaf.
