Even a first grader can handle cutting out miniature ballerinas.

By the way, a ballerina snowflake is a good idea for technology lessons in primary school. You can make not just one ballerina snowflake, but a whole garland of beautiful ballerinas. The trick is that the tutus for these cute dancers are ordinary snowflakes that kids love to cut out.

If you are teaching a lesson at school or making a ballerina snowflake with several children, it is better to prepare several templates in advance and cut them out. Children will be able to choose the ballerina they like.

The ballerina template can be changed in size. The simplest solution is to copy the image, transfer it to a Word document and scale it.

Carefully cut out a ballerina from white cardboard (paper). Now we need to make a skirt for our ballerina. The skirt is a snowflake. I hope everyone knows how to cut out snowflakes.

Cut out snowflakes-skirts. And we dress our beauties. If the hole in the skirt is large, then the ballerina will dress easily. Fold and slide her “native” dress into the skirt. If the hole in the skirt is very small, then use scissors to make slits on both sides and put on the skirt, and turn those places where there are slits to the front and back sides (so that the skirt does not fly off).

The third model is easier to cut than the second, but a little more difficult than the first. The bent leg can be cut with scissors so as not to look for a stationery knife.

As for skirts. Skirts can be made not only of paper, but also of fabric. Skirts cut with curly scissors look beautiful. But if you don’t have any at hand, try to cut out the edge of the skirt in an original way.

I have made ballerina skirts of various lengths, but, in my opinion, the mini ones look the most beautiful. Long skirts seem bulky. A ballerina turns into a dancer. And the miniskirt looks like a real tutu.

You can take regular A4 paper for skirts, or you can take napkins - the skirt will be lighter and more airy. Skirts made of colored paper look original. You can whip up a skirt from a bandage.

The easiest way to make a graceful beauty out of paper. Here you don’t have to spend money on materials, and the action itself will take no more than ten minutes.

You will need:

Sample.
White paper.
Scissors.
Threads.
Pencil.
Scotch.

What we do:

We place the blank on the paper, trying on the number of figures. Try to make them closer to each other, then you will get a lot more ballerinas. We trace the template along the contour.
We cut out the resulting figures, carefully cutting through the skirt and arms. It may be difficult to use your fingers, so it is better to use small nail scissors.
We cut off a small thread - it will be needed to hang the ballerina in the chosen place. We cut off a piece of tape and attach the thread to the girl’s head, carefully checking the reliability of the structure.
We hang up the finished paper ballerina and admire the graceful dancer.

If desired, you can paint it with watercolors or gouache, drawing a face, hands and a tutu.

How to make a paper ballerina with a snowflake

This method will take more time, but the craft will be voluminous.

You will need:

White paper.
Nail scissors.
Needle.
Thread.
Pencil.

What we do:

We trace the template with a pencil. Don't forget that the skirt will be made separately, so the girl must be without a tutu.
We cut out the silhouette along the contour and move it to the side. We'll need it a little later.
From a rectangular sheet we cut out a square of arbitrary sizes. There is no need to make it too big or small. Next, fold it diagonally to form a triangle. Repeat the action and fold the triangle in half.
Now you need to draw patterns on the resulting triangle. Remember that there will be some cutting to follow, so don't make them too complicated. Smooth lines with simple geometric patterns are quite suitable. Do not touch the middle of the snowflake, it must be intact.
We cut out the drawn patterns, being careful not to damage the workpiece.
Unfold the snowflake and straighten it. Next, you need to attach the silhouette of the girl and outline the width of her waist. This is necessary for the slit inside the skirt.
Carefully cut through the middle, trying to make the line even.
We insert the silhouette of a girl into a lush snowflake tutu. For reliability, you can secure the structure with glue.
Using a needle we make a small hole in the ballerina’s head. We pass a piece of thread through the hole. An elegant lady with a full skirt is ready!

How to make a paper ballerina with a fabric skirt

This craft is the most expensive in terms of materials and time. But such ballerinas look unusual, elegant, interesting, and most importantly – festive. For a dancer with a fabric skirt, it is advisable to take tulle, but in the absence of it, you can use any scraps that remain after sewing.

You will need:

Textile.
Paper.
Scissors.
Thread.
Needle.

What we do:

Carefully cut out the ballerina according to the template. Cut the fabric into small pieces. To make a skirt, the fabric needs to be gathered at the base and sewn together with a slight gather.
We put a skirt on the girl, straighten out the folds and adjust the material. For greater aesthetics, you can make a belt in the color of your clothes. Sew a small piece of fabric together and place it at the waist, covering the top of the tutu.
Carefully hook a piece of thread onto the dancers’ hand, having previously made a loop. We tighten it, trying not to tear the paper. Now you can hang it!

To make the New Year's snowflakes shown in the photo, we will need A4 paper (cutting snowflakes from smaller sheets is extremely difficult, since the templates contain very thin and elegant patterns), a pen or pencil, scissors and the desire to create.

Folding snowflakes according to patterns

Take a blank sheet of paper, mark the cutting line so that you get a square, and use scissors to cut off the excess paper.

Before the New Year, I want to decorate my house and do it somehow unusual. The best option for original decoration may be to use homemade accessories. For example, if you make snowflakes with your own hands and hang them throughout the house, the festive mood is guaranteed for a long time.

Paper snowflakes are made from white or colored paper, and you can hang them on a Christmas tree, as a garland or just as a pendant.

Snowflakes can be single or collected from several different ones. The ballerina in a snowflake skirt, gracefully dancing on a thin thread, looks especially original.

Such pendants, descending from the ceiling, can be made not only double, but also triple, and even more. It all depends on the size of the finished snowflakes, the length of the thread and the place where they will hang. For example, you can hang such garlands of short length above your desktop so that they do not interfere. And along the curtains you can make a composition of snowflakes from ceiling to floor.

To cut out a snowflake, you need to take a sheet of A4 paper. It is folded diagonally and the excess strip of paper is trimmed to form a perfect square. The square must be folded diagonally several times so that the fold lines are clearly visible. The corner from which the snowflake will then be cut is folded as shown in the figure. You can cut out any pattern that suits your imagination.

Such a snowflake can become a beautiful and unusual skirt for a ballerina. By making several different snowflakes, you can dress each ballerina in her own individual outfit.

Ballerinas can also be different, for example, a girl balancing on one leg.

Or a gracefully curved dancer with her arms raised up. This figure is convenient to use because you can stretch a thread between its hands and hang it in the right place.

Another option for a ballerina to diversify the garland with different girls.

Each figure can be carefully transferred to a sheet of paper or printed out from existing templates. Ballerinas can be of any size, but it is most convenient to place them on an A5 sheet, then two girls will fit on a landscape page.

You can cut out identical ballerinas with a simplified design. This option will look good on a garland. However, it is better for girls to make skirts from different snowflakes, otherwise completely identical models will look boring.

If you make ballerinas from multi-colored paper, this will add brightness and expressiveness to the decoration. And you can hang them on ordinary rain, preferably not very thick, but long, so that at least 6-8 ballerinas can fit on it.

If you hang such a garland along a wall, curtain or on a Christmas tree, the room will sparkle with new colors, and New Year’s magic will be felt all around. To make the ballerina symmetrical, you only need to cut out its half on a sheet of paper folded in half. The skirt, which is part of the girl, is needed so that the snowflake skirt does not fall off.

You can cut out the snowflakes themselves by folding the sheet into a corner, as usual. To do this, you also need to take a square as a basis. Small scissors and a little mischief and imagination will help you cut out funny and beautiful patterns from paper.

To put an openwork skirt on a ballerina, you need to keep it folded in half, then it will fit into even the smallest hole in the center of a snowflake. And then you can beautifully straighten both the ballerina and the snowflake.

For convenience, you can print a ballerina template, as shown in the figure. Although drawing it by hand and cutting it out will also be a very simple task.

You should not limit yourself in decorating your home only to purchased blanks and garlands. A little imagination and effort, and the house will plunge into the magical atmosphere of the New Year holiday.

Time passes... It brings us closer to the December days and, of course, to the main holiday - the New Year. I continue the theme of decorating the house for this significant date. And again we will talk about snowflakes.

These are not, but the simple ones that we used to decorate our house for the holiday since childhood. In my opinion, snowflakes can cut everything out. If only I had some suitable paper and scissors. And, of course, fantasy. What are they used to create this beauty from? They use napkins, colored and white paper, foil, glossy magazines... You can’t list everything.

All family members participate in this simple task. After all, you need a lot of snowflakes. And stick it on windows, and on cabinets with doors, and even hang it on strings or rain from a chandelier and the ceiling. It is noteworthy that although there are many figures, they are all different. In all this heap of paper, there are no two identical snowflakes. They will differ in size, shape, and pattern.

It’s like you’re cutting it out according to a template, but you still add something of your own—here you cut out a triangle, and here you sharpen the edges. And each figure is beautiful and unique.

Well, arm yourself with scissors, take paper. You and I will carve these delicate and tender decorations.

I remember my childhood... I was about five years old. My mother and I were diligently preparing for the New Year. And they cut out decorations for windows and a Christmas tree from album sheets. At that time the sheets were dense. It was a little difficult to cut out graceful snowflakes from them.

I was given a simpler task - to make this square-shaped decoration. This is easier, because you only had to fold the square two or three times. It didn't take much effort to cut out arcs, stripes, and triangles. The more cuts you make, the more beautiful and delicate the snowflake.

We glued them to the windows, unfolding the square so that it resembled a rhombus. This way the figure looked more advantageous.

Here are options for square snowflakes. To cut them out, it is better to take white or colored sheets of office paper. Cut out a square from paper. If it is large, then the decoration will be larger in size. The smaller, the snowflake will be small. Fold the square according to the diagram. You can repeat the same drawing. And cut it out.

And here are some templates for folding a square sheet twice.

Transfer the pattern to the folded triangle. Now cut off the areas that are shaded. Unfold. And the first snowflake is ready.

Repeat all previous steps. And then your second square-shaped snowflake appeared.

Add more arc cutouts, add triangles somewhere. Cut out the third decoration.

The more cuts you make, the more delicate the figure will be. Add something of your own. And the fourth snowflake will be better than in the picture.

Now fold a sheet of paper three times. I suggest using the diagram. Another fold makes the snowflake lacy and graceful.

And here are several options for snowflake patterns that are obtained using this method of folding paper.

Transfer the design to a triangle folded three times. Cut it out. The patterned decoration can be glued to the window.

Snowflakes are good because you can make deep cuts or very tiny ones. The holes can be of various shapes. Sometimes you make a bunch of different patterns and wonder what will happen. The result will always be amazing.

We practiced using simple templates. Now let’s cut out more complex square snowflakes. Use the options provided.

So we have mastered the technique of cutting out square snowflakes. Now you can safely come up with your own schemes. Apply arcs, semicircles, rectangles, small and large triangles to the folded triangle. Imagine! And you will get a decoration that no one else has. This will be the one and only snowflake.

Teach this to your children. They will cope perfectly with such a simple task. And using scissors together is more fun!

Windows are the main objects in the house that we decorate for the New Year holiday. Strewn with snowflakes, images and characters, they create a stage effect that attracts the eye. Both in the apartment and from the street. And decorating them is a pleasure. You begin to feel like a designer or an artist, a miracle worker.

What to do when you can’t come up with a pattern and cut out snowflakes yourself? There is always a way out. To do this, there are many stencils and templates that you just need to print on a printer.

What is the difference between a stencil and a template?

A stencil is a sheet of paper with a design cut out inside it. By placing a sheet on the surface, you can apply many similar patterns. Since we are talking about snowflakes, they can be applied through a stencil with a sponge dipped in diluted toothpaste or gouache.

A template is a ready-made drawing cut out of paper, which is either immediately glued, as in the case of snowflakes on a window, or it can be traced many times if you need to make a large number of identical pictures. In the latter case, it is better to make the template from thick paper or cardboard.

If you don't have a printer, that's no problem either. A sheet of paper can be attached to the monitor.

A bright screen will create a translucent effect, and the drawing can be transferred to paper using any felt-tip pen. I do not recommend using a pencil or pen. They are sharp and can damage the screen.

View all images. Select the ones you like. When printing, decide on the size of the decoration. Print it out.

Printed or translated stencils must be carefully cut out with scissors.

Some people use sharp nail scissors when cutting out small internal parts, some use craft scissors, some use special knives.

In this kind of work, I pick up handmade “herons”. They have pointed ends and cut well.

When cutting, try to remove the black outline of the template and the stencil fill of the same color with scissors. So that the products are obtained without a dark outline.

Now the finished snowflakes can be glued to the window. Of course, I want to do this more carefully, so that after the holiday you don’t have to scrub away stubborn stains for a long time.

To glue light piercings, you can use milk, soap solution, toothpaste, or liquid paste.

In our house, snowflakes are held on by soapy water. They are made from office printing paper. This paper is quite durable. We moisten a bar of soap with water and soap the figure on one side. I made three snowflakes. I drew a pattern with a pencil. Removed unnecessary things. Here's what I got.

Cut a hole in the center, the diameter of which should correspond to the width of the paper doll's waist.

There are several options for wearing a skirt on a ballerina. You can carefully bend it along the length and insert the figure into the snowflake. You can also make a small cut from the center cutout. Then it is easier to put the doll into clothes. Or you can cut the snowflake in one place from the bottom edge to the very center, and then glue the cut.

Glue the skirt to the doll's waist on one side and the other with literally one drop of glue. Straighten it out to make it look fuller.

Tie a string to the ballerina's arm or waist. Now you can hang it on the Christmas tree.

If you make the thread longer, then first put one or two snowflakes on it, and then tie the figurine. Make several of these garlands and hang them at different heights. It will look great.

Ballerinas will spin with any movement, creating the feeling of falling snow. That's very beautiful!

How to cut beautiful snowflakes for the New Year (step-by-step patterns for beginners)

The main fans of creating beautiful New Year's decorations are, of course, children. Especially the girls. But the boys are not far behind.

My seven-year-old grandson watched me work on this article for a long time. He saw how I cut out snowflakes and was amazed at how gradually a sheet of paper with the help of scissors turns into something patterned and carved. First he asked how I did it, and then he also took the scissors.

For now he is making them according to patterns, but I think soon he will have special, boyish snowflakes: the faces of animatronics, transformers, or some other modern cartoon characters will be cut out inside them.

But for starters, the diagrams were very useful. There is no need to invent something. You repeat the steps, transfer the pattern to the folded figure and use scissors. It's quite simple.

Let's make another batch of snowflakes using them. The method of folding paper when making these products is different.

When creating the first snowflakes, we fold a sheet of paper into triangles three times. First, bend the square diagonally. We fold the resulting figure three more times until we get a figure that resembles an arrow. We apply a pattern on one side, and then cut out the shaded parts. And it turns out to be a snowflake.

The next craft is made according to the same pattern. Only the pattern is different. Redraw it onto the blank (it is simple) and remove the parts with shading. The second product is ready.

And another snowflake, made according to the same scenario. Fold a sheet of paper several times. Copy the pattern. It's a little more complicated. But it's not scary! And cut it out. You will get such a beautiful snowball.

Folding a sheet of paper in the next two options differs from the previous ones. First, fold it twice into triangles. And then you need to roll up the little bag. We transfer the ornament. We cut off unnecessary things. And now the decoration is ready.

The fifth snowflake folds in the same way. Let's redraw the pattern. Carefully cut out the multilayer part. We unfold it, smoothing out the rays of the product. And here we have another copy.

Using the same scheme, we will make another version of a beautiful decoration. Fold a sheet of paper step by step. Let's redraw the ornament. Let's cut it along the lines. Now we unfold the figure. And here we have another snowflake.

Now let's move on to another group of decorations. Fold the square sheet in half. And then we bend the two ends of the triangle obliquely. And we transfer the drawing. This cutting method is very suitable for children. There aren't many layers here. Therefore, you do not need to put a lot of effort when cutting. Children's hands can easily cope with this task.

Let's create the first snowflake. Let's fold the sheet according to the diagram. Draw a pattern with a pencil or felt-tip pen. We take scissors and remove all the shaded parts. Carefully unfold the paper. And now the snowflake is ready.

Let's add a small Christmas tree to the next pattern. Let's cut out the outline. And the craft will look completely different.

But, to be honest, I know from my own experience that stencils made from regular paper quickly become limp. We once printed a stencil of New Year’s bells on a printer, then fiddled around for a long time, cut it all out, the drawing turned out, but the stencil went limp very quickly. Now I prefer to buy stencils in stores for artists; they are a little expensive, but they last a long time.
