Beautiful Christmas toys made of paper and cardboard for children in kindergarten (with templates and diagrams)

If there are very small children in your house, but you still want to decorate the Christmas tree, paper balls will be an excellent alternative. They are beautiful and will not break when dropped.

Would need:

  • 2 sheets of different colors (this can be colored or decorative paper, scrapbooking sheets are also suitable);
  • beads and beads (suitable shade);
  • juice tube;
  • ribbon;
  • threads;
  • needle;
  • pencil;
  • ruler;
  • scissors.

Stages of work:

1. We cut 10 strips from each sheet, 12 by 1 cm in size. Cut out 4 circles from the remaining paper, up to 1.5 cm in diameter. After that, we begin to string the parts on a needle and thread in the following order: 1 bead, 1 large bead, 1 paper circle. Then it was time for the paper strips. Alternately wear one strip of each color until we use up everything. It is necessary to pierce the strips at a distance of 5 millimeters from the edge.

To make the ball neat, it is worth marking the necessary places in advance.

2. Then we put on another circle and a tube about 6 cm long.

3. Now you can move on to stringing the strips from the second end. This must be done carefully so as not to disturb the sequence in which the strips were worn from the very beginning. Otherwise, the ball simply will not work.

4. We straighten the strips and give a spherical shape. To fix, we put on another circle, then a bead. We fix the thread and cut it off. From above we sew a loop-pendant from a beautiful ribbon and a beautiful ball is ready!

From paper strips, you can make a large number of different Christmas toys. For example, here is such a snowman:

Or Santa Claus:

We also offer you templates for simple toys that you just need to print on a color printer, cut and glue:

By the way, using templates, you can make very light toys, even a 4-year-old kid can handle them. Just cut out the required number of templates, bend them in half and glue them together, placing a beautiful hanging rope inside:

As you can see in this example, the figurine can be any, be it a Christmas tree, a bear, or even a star:

Do-it-yourself voluminous Christmas toys for the Christmas tree made of felt (patterns inside)

Of course, felt is not an improvised material, but we could not forget about decorations made from this material. The toys are so cute and soft. The main thing is to choose the templates you like and purchase the felt of the desired color. And needlewomen probably have multi-colored patches of this material somewhere. It's time to use them!

Would need:

  • bear template;
  • felt;
  • threads;
  • needle;
  • scissors;
  • thin ribbon for hanging;
  • black beads for eyes;
  • synthetic winterizer or other filler;
  • decorative ornaments.

Stages of work:

According to the template, cut out 2 parts of the bear. To one of them we sew bead eyes, a nose made of black felt and a mouth. Decorate with ribbons or small buttons. It remains to fold the parts together and carefully sew by hand or on a typewriter. We start from the bottom, as we sew, we gradually fill it with padding polyester. At the very top we sew a ribbon for hanging.

By the same principle, we make the rest of the Christmas decorations:

And here are the templates for them:

Therefore, feel free to create, and if you do not have a printer, just attach a sheet of paper to the screen and draw the outlines with a pencil. You can also draw independent templates. After all, they are easy.

DIY paper balls

From old postcards, you can make such cute New Year decorations - Christmas balls. If suddenly the hand does not rise to cut into small pieces congratulations dear to the heart, postcards can be replaced with covers of glossy magazines or notebooks, candy boxes or colored cardboard.

We will need:

  • postcards, thick colored paper or cardboard
  • compass or template
  • pencil
  • ruler
  • scissors
  • glue and brush
  • beautiful rope or ribbon

We make a paper ball with our own hands

On the reverse side of postcards, cardboard or thick colored paper, we draw 20 identical circles with a radius of 35 mm with a compass. Depending on the size of the postcards, the radius of the circles can be changed for optimal use of the paper. The main thing is that it should be the same for all circles. Cut out our circles. Now in each circle we need to enter an equilateral triangle, which can either be drawn manually with a ruler and a pencil in each element circle, or, in order not to suffer for a long time, we cut out a triangle template from thick cardboard and duplicate it on each circle.

Next, on each circle, carefully bend three identical valves. To make the fold even, we make it with a ruler along the sides of the previously drawn triangles, i.e. we bend the edges of the circle along the lines of the triangle inscribed in it. If the edges of the circle are not bent up, as in the figure, but inward, our paper ball will turn out without pronounced edges and will look like a classic New Year's ball, but still the faceted ball looks much more interesting.

In the first five fragments, we lubricate the side valves with glue. We glue the circles for the valves, and we will get the top of the paper ball. At the very top we make a hole with an awl, thread the ribbon and fix it with a knot. Glue the five remaining fragments in the same way. This will be the bottom of the balloon.

From the remaining 10 elements, we will make the middle of our unusual ball. We glue the individual fragments into a strip and close it into a ring. We just have to collect the ball, gluing together the top, bottom and middle.

As you can see, the original Christmas ball is outrageously easy to make. But so beautiful and elegant that it just asks for a Christmas tree! Even a child can make such a handsome man!

Small Christmas balls with fewer details will look just as impressive on a Christmas tree or in a New Year's home decor as large and complex ones, and it will take much less time to make them.

"Christmas hedgehogs" - original balls for the Christmas tree

Have you ever met New Year's hedgehogs?! Didn't it happen? Well, let's get to know each other! Luxurious New Year's balls, decorated with cut glass and silk ribbons, are so similar to funny hedgehogs dressed up glamorously in honor of the holiday. These cute creatures will help create a truly fabulous holiday atmosphere in your home. If you think that it will be difficult to make them with your own hands, you are very mistaken. We invite you to make sure once again that everything ingenious is simple.

We will need:

  • beads with a diameter of 5 mm from faceted glass or plastic
  • balls with a diameter of 4.5 cm made of foam or cotton cellulose
  • long tailor's pins
  • glass beads
  • silk ribbon

How to make a "Christmas hedgehog" for a Christmas tree

On a long tailor's pin, we first string one small bead, and then one faceted one. In this case, a small bead will play not only a decorative role, but will also prevent a large bead from slipping off, since its hole may be larger than the pin head. Having strung the beads on a pin, we stick it into a foam ball. Only the beaded part of the pin should remain on the surface of the ball.

We repeat the previous step: we string the beads on pins and stick them into the ball until we cover its entire surface. We leave only a small area of \u200b\u200bthe ball for fastening the tape free. We tie the ribbon with a neat little bow, cut off the ends, “sit down” the knot of the bow on a pin and attach it to the ball. You can put a hedgehog on a Christmas tree!

New Year's handmade pasta toys

Just look what wonderful Christmas decorations you can make from the most ordinary pasta! To create this beauty with our own hands, we need raw pasta, glue and paint for coloring products. For New Year's pasta creativity, it is better to take shells, spirals, bows, stars, even tubes with an oblique cut, volutes and other fantasy pasta.

As a glue, a hot glue gun is perfect, which is very convenient and fast to work with. For greater solemnity, ready-made pasta Christmas decorations can be decorated with sparkles, beads, sequins, rhinestones, glitters. For coloring, a spray from a can or acrylic paint is suitable. You can choose any colors, but it is the New Year range that will look more enchanting: golden, silver, snow-white, bluish.

How to make Christmas decorations from pasta

We pour dry raw pasta on the table and make up a composition from them that we would like to see on our Christmas tree. What could it be?! Yes, anything! Snowflake beauties and New Year's stars of the most amazing shapes, figures of little men and angels, animals and fairy-tale characters. Having finally decided on the design, we sequentially connect the pasta to each other using a glue gun. We wait until the glue is completely dry, hardens and seizes, and then proceed to painting the products.

Working with acrylic paints can be safely entrusted to a child. Give him brushes, paint and let him paint! If you use paint from a spray can, it is better to take the composition outside or, say, onto a balcony. Be sure to lay down newspaper or oilcloth to protect the table and walls from paint. Immediately after applying the paint, the craft can be sprinkled with sparkles or, when the paint dries, the toy can be further coated with varnish or transparent glue with sparkles. These are inexpensive and very beautiful decorations you can make for the New Year!

DIY painted Christmas toys

To beautifully paint Christmas balls, it is not at all necessary to be an artist. Here is such a simple, but unusually touching and very pretty winter landscape that is easy to create on a Christmas ball, even if you are holding a brush for the first time! To do this, we need white and red acrylic paint and the already mentioned brush, and preferably two - thick and thin. We will work in stages. First of all, with white acrylic paint, we will depict a snow cover on the ground. To do this, paint the bottom of the toy with a double layer. The second coat of paint is applied after the first has completely dried! When the bottom is dry, with a small round brush, carefully draw white trees of different sizes. Let the paint dry again. Then we make a few small strokes on top of the trees with red acrylic paint - these will be our bullfinches. When the bullfinches dry, we create the effect of falling snow: with the tip of a thin brush, we put small white dots all over the ball. Charming!

There are a lot of options on how to make Christmas tree decorations out of paper for the New Year, we tried to make an interesting selection of ideas and master classes. You only need improvised materials that can be found in any home, any paper, a little patience and creative imagination!

Balloons

The most common and versatile do-it-yourself toys for the new year are Christmas balls. You can make it from any thick paper: colored cardboard, colorful postcards or old magazine covers. Monochromatic balls will give a single style to the room, and multi-colored - an atmosphere of fun and fabulous magic.

So, before you start making New Year's paper toys, you need to prepare the following:

  • thick paper with a pattern;
  • scissors;
  • PVA glue;
  • a compass or any object, outlining which you can reproduce a circle (jars, lids, glasses, etc.).

How to do:

  • Draw 21 identical circles on paper and cut them out with scissors.

Prepare the circles as follows:

  • bend the circle twice in half (this is necessary to determine the center);
  • unbend the circle and bend one side of it so that the edge of the circle is exactly in the center;
  • bend two more sides of the circle to make a triangle with equal sides;
  • cut out the resulting triangle, which will play the role of a pattern for the rest of the details;
  • impose a triangle on the rest of the circles, circle with a pencil and bend the edges outward along the lines.
  • Glue 10 circles together with two sides so that you get a strip: 5 circles on top, and 5 on the bottom. The strip must be glued into a ring. This will be the base for the ball.

  • Divide the remaining 10 parts into 5 pieces, which are glued into a circle. Got two "caps".

  • Glue the top and bottom "lid" to the base in sequence.
  • The loop for hanging the ball can be made from a thread threaded through the top of the toy with a needle, or from a beautiful ribbon. A loop of ribbon is fixed with a knot and threaded through the top of the "cap" of the ball before gluing it to the base. The knot stays inside the toy, and the loop stays outside.

The original do-it-yourself paper toy is ready for the new coming year!

Paper strip balls

Making such Christmas balls is so simple that it doesn’t even make sense to describe in detail - see the pictures below. The secret of success: nicely colored paper and decorative beads for decoration.

Volumetric snowflake

Another indispensable attribute of the new year is snowflakes. They can be the simplest, cut out from a sheet of paper with an arbitrary pattern, or they can be voluminous using the origami technique. We offer to make the last version of the New Year's snowflake with your own hands.

To do this, you need to cut six squares of the same size, fold each of them diagonally, and then in half. Parallel incisions are made along the fold. The square unfolds, the inner tongues are wrapped and fastened together.

The outer petals are connected to the same petals of the remaining squares. You can attach them both with glue and with a regular stapler.

Christmas tree paper candies

This decor is available to manufacture even for kids. How good it is to create a New Year's mood with children, whoever did this knows what I mean :)

To form such a cube, you need to cut out six identical circles from paper or squares. The edges of each element are bent so that a square is formed at the base. Then the bent edges are glued between the rest of the parts into a box. Favorite photos from the past year are pasted on the sides of the toy and a loop is threaded.

A simple balloon, pre-inflated, can be wrapped with threads dipped in glue, and after complete drying, the base bursts, an amazing balloon can be painted.

A rich variety of materials and ideas allows, without spending a lot of time, to make amazing decorations that will match the theme of the winter holiday and complement the interior composition of any room.

Photo of Christmas decorations with your own hands

Hello, friends! Well, have you already started New Year's Eve fuss? Yesterday we finally bought an artificial one, but the truth is that there is still nothing special to decorate it with. Therefore, an interesting idea came to my mind about how to make Christmas decorations with my own hands.

I want to invite you to do this exciting business. So throw laziness aside, call your kids and start creating New Year's!

After all, in any case, you have paper, glue, plastic bottles and other materials at hand. Well, there is, right? That's all we need today. From them you can make the faces of little animals, and carved ones, as well as the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus and a bunch of other wonderful decorations. So do not think for a long time, but rather start the fun process.

Moreover, there will be more than enough ideas for such an undertaking. I, as always, tried and found from the Internet the best options for making toys for the Christmas tree. And if you are ready, then we begin. 😉

Do not forget that in any case you need to use your own imagination. Only in this way you can get amazing and exclusive souvenirs.

DIY Christmas tree toys from improvised materials for children

First of all, I want to offer you interesting ideas for creating jewelry from different and almost any materials that are in every home.

Be sure to involve your children in creativity, because it is they who are most waiting for this magical holiday - the New Year. And they will be extremely pleased to hang toys that they will make themselves on the Christmas tree.

I suggest you make an interesting decoration in the form of a small Christmas tree from an egg tray.

"Christmas tree from an egg tray"

You will need:

  • gouache;
  • Super glue;
  • paper packaging from eggs;
  • scissors;
  • brushes;
  • PVA glue;
  • thread;
  • pencil.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take a paper egg carton and cut out 5-7 cells. Cut out the details from them as shown in the photo. Cut one of the cells in half, this will be the top.

2. Glue the pieces together to form a tree. Roll the parts that came out of the halves into a cone and glue at the top.

3. Take green gouache and paint the workpiece.

4. Cut out decorations from the remnants of paper packaging, and if necessary, glue them together. Make small balls from a mixture of small pieces of paper and PVA glue.

5. Color in the decorations.

6. Decorate the Christmas tree by gluing all the decor. Don't forget to glue the thread with which you will weigh the toy.

7. Cover the product with a transparent varnish, dry. Everything is ready!

If you are a lover of expensive wine, then after emptying the bottle, do not rush to part with its cork. Collect them. And they will come in handy at the right time. For example, apply them for the following purpose.

"Wine Cork Souvenir"

You will need:

  • 6 natural corks from wine bottles;
  • natural twine;
  • Super glue;
  • scissors;
  • confetti, small beads.

Manufacturing process:

1. Carefully cut each cork with a knife into 3 equal parts.

The knife must be sharp so that the corks do not crumble.

2. You should end up with 18 pieces.

3. Now lay out small triangles from these pieces on a hard surface. One triangle should consist of 6 pieces of traffic jams. There should be 3 triangles in total.

4. Glue each resulting triangle.

5. Cut three 40 cm ropes from the twine.

6. Tie each rope in the middle, forming a loop.

7. Take a dried triangle, attach a knot of loops to the top, while smearing the place of their contact with glue.

8. Circle the twine around the entire triangle, and tie the loose ends tightly in a knot.

9. For a tighter fixation, the thread can also be smeared with transparent glue.

10. Do the same with the two remaining triangular blanks.

Well, now try to make beautiful snowmen from iron corks.

"Snowmen"

You will need:

  • tapes;
  • bottle caps;
  • acrylic paints;
  • buttons;
  • glue.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take three good, not deformed bottle caps. Wash and dry them. Then paint with white acrylic paint.

2. After the workpieces have dried, glue the covers onto the tape, while leaving a loop on top.

4. Cut a small strip from the satin ribbon. This will be a scarf. Tie it over the corks. And glue a button in the middle. A bright decoration in the form of a snowman is completely ready.

You can also use not only corks, but the bottles themselves. Only not glass, but plastic. For example, cutting them into halves, and then gluing the parts to the desired length, you get an excellent blank for any toy. Dream up. And then, using paint, revive the plastic blanks.

That's how beautiful and bright you can make a penguin. I think the diagram will make it clear to you.

Or fill the bottles with any New Year's souvenirs, and decorate on top.

You can also cut strips of plastic and assemble a ball.

Here's a simple idea for making small toys out of paper and satin ribbons. Find New Year's pictures on the Internet, print them in the shape of a circle, cut them out. Then glue onto cardboard. Weave the ribbons together and glue the contour with them. Glue the loop.

And here's a paper assembly for you. Also very simple product, just for kids. Print the diagram, cut it out. Assemble the craft along the fold lines, glue. Decorate with beads, plasticine, etc. Glue on the loop. That's all!

"Crystal ball"

You will need:

  • half beads made of glass and plastic;
  • foam balls;
  • trimming satin ribbons;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take a foam ball and start pasting it in a circle with half beads. At the same time, you can lay out a certain pattern, or make the craft monophonic.

Remember that the glue must be applied in a thin layer, otherwise the foam will melt.

2. After you glue the entire ball over completely, you just have to embellish it a little more. Just tie a bow of satin scraps and glue to the product. Don't forget the loop too.

In the same way, you can make balls from buttons. Only first paint the foam balls with paint, and only then glue the multi-colored buttons.

And disposable plastic cups are generally a godsend for creativity. They just need to be turned upside down, and pasted over with paper decorations, sequins, duct tape or painted with paints. And as a result, ringing bells, funny snowmen can turn out.

For a change, choose a very simple product - sew or assemble a large Christmas tree bow. You can make many small bows.

I also came up with the idea to combine the purchase option with homemade art. Buy transparent balls for the Christmas tree, carefully unscrew the top and sprinkle sparkles there. Screw the item. Or apply glue on the surface of the ball in the form of any pattern and also sprinkle with sparkles. Very beautiful handicrafts.

Of course, do not forget about needlework from dense threads and ordinary glue.

Moreover, the use of this technology will allow you to make anything.

You can learn more about this technique here.

And here are the instructions on how such a miracle can be created.

Interesting products are obtained from pasta. Usually they are glued together and thus make snowflakes.

And a cool idea would be to decorate unnecessary old light bulbs. Usually they are painted with acrylic paints and decorated with knitted, rag and other attributes.

Also, toys can be molded from salt dough, plasticine or clay.

Well, or bake real edible souvenirs.

In fact, there are still a lot of holiday products that you can make with your own hands from improvised means, and you can’t list everything. Therefore, we move on.

Master class on making a star on the top of a Christmas tree from paper and cardboard

Well, now let's start making almost the most important attribute of a green tree - a star.

Of course, you can choose another way to make it, but I really liked the next magical transformation.

"Shiny Cardboard Star"

You will need:

  • shiny cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take cardboard and cut out strips of the same width and length from it.

If your cardboard is shiny on only one side, then first glue two sheets of cardboard together so that both sides are shiny.

3. Now bring the free ends of the strips together and glue them together as shown in the photo.

4. Pin the side strips together. You should get something like this.

5. Repeat steps 1 to 4, that is, glue another exactly the same part.

6. Connect and glue the two blanks together so that you end up with an eight-pointed star. Your voluminous star on the top of the spruce is ready.

I think that such a masterpiece will bring a lot of pleasure, especially when the lights will flash on the branches and the star will also sparkle with new colors.

Christmas tree toy 2020 in the form of a symbol of the year of the mouse

Do you remember what year is coming? That's right, the year of the Rat. So do not forget to appease the Mistress and make a souvenir in the form of a funny mouse.

Such a product can simply be planted on a twig or make a hole and fasten the rope.

You will need: one plastic container and several pieces of multi-colored plasticine.

Manufacturing process:

And here is the hero for the Year of the Pig.

"Pig made of colored paper"

You will need:

  • double sided tape on foam;
  • semi-cardboard pink and red;
  • black marker;
  • pencils;
  • markers;
  • glue;
  • scissors.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take a pink semi-cardboard and cut out many strips from it 1 cm wide and 7 cm long.

2. Now, using a pencil or scissors, twist each strip.

3. Apply glue to the top of one of the strips, and attach another strip on top. Thus, glue the strips in a circle.

4. As a result, you should get such a blank.

6. Now cut out a long pink strip 0.5 cm wide.

7. Twist the strip so that you get a curl like a pig's tail.

8. Glue the tail to the ball.

9. Cut out two circles of different diameters and ears from half-cardboard. From red paper, cut out two small circles - these are the nostrils.

10. Glue a piece of double-sided tape on a circle of smaller diameter. Attach it to the big circle. Use glue to glue the "nostrils".

11. Draw eyes with a black marker and draw the contours.

12. From red paper, cut out two strips 2 cm wide, 5 cm long. Paint them all with the same black marker. This will be a scarf.

13. Glue the scarf to the back of the pig's head. Then glue the head to the body (3D ball). And don't forget to cut and glue the ribbon loop.

Agree, this is a very easy craft and is available for children's creativity.

Step-by-step instructions on how to make a New Year's toy from cotton wool

Next, soak all other parts with a paste and carefully attach them to the cockerel. Form folds, fluff the tail, additionally you can make a thin strip of cotton wool and stick it around the neck. Glue on the eyes.

8. Dry the product upside down (hang on the thread that we left). And then paint to your liking. Cut the thread and insert a pin, thread an elegant rope.

Use this technology to make other animals, fairy-tale heroes and characters.

Christmas tree toy "Garland" from plastic bottles
