Description: in the master class there will be a description of the manufacture of the Christmas tree. The work is intended for children from 10 years old, teachers of primary, classes, teachers of additional education and just creative people.
Purpose: interior decoration, do-it-yourself gift from waste material.
Target: making crafts from denim.
Tasks:
Learn to use junk material (pieces of unnecessary denim, tulle trimmings) to make interesting crafts.
Develop fine motor skills of hands and eye.
Cultivate artistic taste, accuracy.
Raise interest in arts and crafts.
Materials needed for work:
1. Thick packing carton, denim scraps
2. Pieces of tulle, interlining, brown yarn, threads.
3. Satin ribbons, beads, to decorate the Christmas tree.
4. Pencil, cutter, scissors, needle.
5. Glue.

Stages of the craft:
1. Using a cutter, cut out an isosceles triangle from packing cardboard.
Triangle size: base 20 cm, height 35 cm. This work should only be done by an adult.

2. Cut out two triangles of the same size from denim.
Glue the received parts on both sides to the cardboard base. You can use regular glue stick. Apply glue to cardboard, pay special attention to the edges of the triangle.

3. Glue the sides of the triangle with transparent thin tulle, collecting it with an accordion. It is better to use hot glue here.

4. To make the work look neat, glue a thin strip of openwork braid in place of the cut of the denim. Instead of a ribbon, you can use a thick twisted thread or thick twine.

5. Prepare denim flowers.
It is desirable to connect a denim piece of fabric with non-woven fabric, which will not allow the fabric to crumble at the edges.
Prepare a template according to the principle of cutting out a snowflake.
Fold a strip of paper with an accordion in 5 layers. Draw and cut out a petal of any shape. Unfold and flatten.
Circle the template on the fabric from the wrong side and cut it out.

6. Sew the bottom of the workpiece with a needle-forward seam
It is better to choose threads in the tone of future flowers.
The photo has a red thread for a clear perception.

7. Pull off the beginning and end of the thread, tightly tying it into a knot.
Gently straighten the formed petals.

As a result, we get these flowers.

8. Glue a bead in the center of each denim flower.

9. We place the resulting flowers on the base. Fix with hot glue.

10. Cut out "feathers", "petals" from an unnecessary piece of tulle. Place and glue next to the denim flowers.

11. We wrap the trunk of the Christmas tree with sufficiently thick brown threads. Threads can be replaced with twine.

12. Cut out a circle with a diameter of 15 cm from the packaging cardboard. We glue it with denim. In the middle of the circle we make a through cut with a cutter. We insert the tree trunk into the slot.

13. Glue the edge of the stand with white tape.

To make a denim tree you will need:

Make a cone of the desired size out of cardboard, for which fold the bag and cut off its lower part (photo 1-2).

You will also need soft paper, such as toilet paper, which takes the necessary shape well (photo 3). As a wire for the crown, you can use from the old calendar (photo 4).

As a result, you will get a “tail”, as in photo 5. Fill the Cone with paper and insert about 10 barbecue sticks (they are slightly thinner than barbecue sticks) (photo 6). Cut out a circle from cardboard to cover the bottom of the Christmas tree (Pic 7). Make a hole and put on the sticks (Pic 8).

The cone must be completely filled with paper (photo 9). Close the bottom, glue the edges with a glue gun (using another strong glue) (photo 10).

Remove all unnecessary denim, while the more shades the better (photo 11). Cut a circle around the diameter of the bottom (Pic 12). Fold and cut off the tip (Pic 13). It is important not to overdo it so that the hole matches the diameter of the “trunk” (so as not to engage in unnecessary decoration) (photo 14).

Make a "skirt" - cut oblique strips (photo 15). Shake the edges (Pic 16).

Tape the wire with double-sided tape. Wrap with a "shaggy strip" (Pic 17). And then dress the Christmas tree at your discretion (photo 18).

You can, for example, use lace (photo 19) or a regular satin ribbon (photo 20). Twist the bundle from the ribbon and wrap it with denim threads.

“The skirt is a strip gathered on a thread in the center (photo 21). And then the most pleasant moment follows - decoration with flowers (photo 22) and bows (photo 23).

Decorate the "tail" with three beads (photo 24). Then make a stand for the Christmas tree, for which use a plastic jar from under something (photo 27). Wrap with denim (Pic 28).

Through an equal distance from the bottom, grab with a hot glue gun, that is, mark the folds (photo 29). Decorate the bottom with a satin ribbon (Pic 30). The ribbon was too wide, so it had to be covered with a denim strip, a fringe was made at the bottom (photo 31). Decorate with a bow (Pic 32) and buttons (Pic 33-34).

In anticipation of the Christmas holidays, many people buy New Year's decorations in shops, boutiques, markets and trading houses. Materials needed to create a denim Christmas tree:
1. Thick white paper (cardboard) - 1 sheet.
2. Glue or tape.
3. Scissors for cutting.
4. Ruler.
5. Tailor's needles.
6. Denim (two types, light and dark).
7. Threads.

So, how to make a Christmas tree, consider in stages:
1. We take a sheet of cardboard in A4 format. We twist it into a cone - this will be the basis for our Christmas tree.

2. We fasten the edges with adhesive tape or glue it on glue (I have adhesive tape).

3. We cut the bottom so that it is even.

4. Cut 5 strips of denim. I got 2 dark and 3 light strips 6 cm wide each. After we sew the fabric, so that a shuttlecock is formed.

5. We string the resulting blank on a paper cone and fix it with needles.

6. We continue to the end of the Christmas tree, combining colors. We attach a square of denim to the top.
