Mammalogy

On the threshold of prom, girls have formed their own tastes and views on fashionable clothes. Young age allows you to buy yourself a dress or skirt of an ultra-fashionable style. However, the tastes of high school students do not always coincide with the requirements of the school.

Our next review will help you to look stunning and fashionable within the walls of your own school, without breaking school rules. Thanks to designer tricks, dresses perfectly highlight the natural feminine beauty.

Peculiarities

Young age allows you to turn creative design ideas into reality. All kinds of darts and folds will emphasize female beauty and the chic waist of high school girls.

A loose style or a dress with a yoke will help to hide a non-standard figure.

Remembering the school uniform of the 80s, girls were only offered models with long sleeves. Now high school girls can choose a dress with one sleeve or another. It all depends on the preferences of the girls and the climate conditions at school. Any style allows girls to look fashionable and extravagant without shocking teachers.

On a warm spring day, it’s comfortable to sit at your desk in a dress with short sleeves. For those who do not want to carry a sweater or cardigan with them, many manufacturers offer long-sleeve models.

And yet, something remained from the uniform of the end of the last century: snow-white collars and cuffs. In combination with the fashionable cut of the dresses, they are more likely to be elements of business classics than an obligatory strict finish.

How to choose

The school dress is worn directly to school. Therefore, when choosing a dress, we pay attention to the following parameters:

  • A style that will perfectly highlight the beauty of high school girls.

  • The size should correspond to girls' natural sizes. Then learning will be much more comfortable and enjoyable.

  • Length. A parameter that plays an important role. The knee-length model is the best option for all body types and heights.

Popular styles and models

The 50s style is experiencing a new wave of popularity. A dress cut at the waist with a flared skirt will create a fashionable look for school. A stylish button-down jacket will complement it on cool days.

A sheath dress is a wonderful offer from designers. A good reason to emphasize your adulthood and school mischief.

The strap matches the collar. In high school, accessories are widely used in any clothing. Dress with lace collar and white belt. A laconic model with an exciting skirt.

A white collar is not a mandatory requirement for the school uniform. You can fill your wardrobe with straight, stylish dresses.

A stylish dress with a v-neck or a classic black dress decorated with scarlet. A strict and at the same time stunningly beautiful bow.

Fashion trends

Fashion is a source of inspiration for all designers and fashion designers. Introducing the latest fashion trends in school uniforms.

There are never too many symmetrical folds. The black sundress is decorated with a wide belt with a large buckle. A turtleneck or classic blouse will create a chic look for every day.

Blue dress with short sleeves. The vertical stitching on the bodice resembles a light ruffle. Recently, models with pleated trim are considered the trends of the year. A dress with bow pleats deserves special attention from others.

The style of the 80s is with us again. Blue dress with lace collar and cuffs. Retro style never ceases to amaze modern high school girls. Still a cute and practical look for school.

What to wear with

The dress is an amazing women's outfit. You can't wear anything with it. Shoes with low heels will be very useful. Black classic color will perfectly harmonize with a dress of any color.

Pumps will allow your feet to rest during class. Now in stores you can find models with trim that will ideally match a school dress.

In the autumn and winter coolness, knee-high boots are suitable. Fashionable coats are selected from outerwear. Then the image will be one hundred percent complete.

As for accessories, it is better to choose a belt of a suitable color (if the style allows) and earrings.

Nylon is what will make a school look truly wonderful and beautiful. Tights in nude, brown and black colors match the entire color palette of the school dress. Other colors are strictly excluded.

Well, the bag should contain everything you need for studying. In terms of color, it is better to choose shades that echo the outerwear.

Stylish looks

The image of an exemplary schoolgirl is not only about choosing a good dress. One must complement the other.

Gray dress with belt and puff sleeves. Office fashion is confidently migrating into fashionable items for schoolgirls.

An interesting idea from stylists to prepare girls for creating a business wardrobe. After all, many people connect their lives with the choice of office professions. Wavy curls are a generous decoration for any dress. Makeup for school is acceptable, but light, almost invisible.

If the school rules do not mind light variety, you can choose a model that uses a color combination.

A few designer fantasies and the dress will be simply a masterpiece for school.

There is nowhere without romance at school age. A silver flared dress looks very elegant. The waist is decorated with a unique bow with a black buckle. Closed heels go perfectly with a black bag.

Hairstyle is at the discretion of the schoolgirl herself. Straight parted hair or light curls. It all depends on how much time you have to create your hairstyle. The scythe will help out in any situation. A beautiful hairpin that matches the tone or contrast of the dress is a highlight that the whole school can pay attention to.

This look may be needed for various school events. Now these dresses are not in demand among modern girls, but they can be useful as a reflection of the Soviet era. Short dress decorated with a white lace apron. Snow-white knee socks will add mischief to the Soviet school look.

If you watched the series “Gossip Girl,” then you definitely paid attention to the fashionable images of Blair Waldorf, who always managed to masterfully play with the theme of school uniforms. In her performance, strict school clothes turned into real stylish looks worthy of a designer show.

We will tell you in this article how to dress fashionably and make the school uniform not boring.

We bet even the most boring school uniform can be turned into a stylish set of clothes? All you need is a little creativity, bright details and the ability to put fashion trends into practice.

We’ll teach you how to do this using 10 fashionable looks as an example.

But first, let's remember the most striking appearances of Blair Waldorf, Queen B, for whom the school uniform served as a potential for expressing her independence and outrageousness.

In order to find your own style in a school uniform, you must come up with your own original “trick” that will set you apart from the crowd of your peers. For Blair Waldorf, it was headbands. She wore them like a crown, giving orders left and right to her minions.

But it was not only this fashion accessory that allowed her to become a style icon. Blair often brought her own approach to the presentation of school uniforms. For example, she often wore a school skirt with tight tights in a bright or basic color. And Blair Waldorf always preferred not black, but a dark blue shade of school clothes.

Among her fashion accessories one could notice bright large bags, pumps, ribbons decorating school blouses with a bow. For outerwear, she preferred cape coats, which made it possible to show off beautiful long gloves. As well as elegant coats with a feminine silhouette in bright colors and, of course, trench coats.

And thus she did not violate strict rules, but herself created a new school fashion.

Now let’s figure out together, using the example of a photo of 10 fashionable images, how to diversify the school uniform and introduce modern trends into it.

Fashionable look 1. School uniform + leg warmers

Leg warmers have returned to the list of fashion trends and have become a real trend of 2017. And what is the best way to wear leg warmers, if not with a school uniform?

It doesn’t matter what the weather is like outside, what shoes you choose for your fashionable look - pumps or rough boots - leg warmers will always be an excellent addition to any youth set of clothes.

This fashionable accessory, especially if made in black, not only does not contradict school rules, but even in its own way emphasizes the severity of school clothes.

But if you decide to go further in your fashion experiments, then we advise you to buy knitted leg warmers in gray color - now they are at the peak of popularity.

Today, shoes, boots, and even sandals are worn with leggings. This option could be seen at designer clothing shows for the fall-winter 2016-2017 season.

Fashionable look 2. School uniform + fashionable knitwear

With the onset of real cold weather, you can rightly neglect your school jacket and replace it with a warmer wardrobe item. Remember fashionable knitwear!

To create a stylish look, a knitted vest, cardigan or chunky knit sweater in a basic color, wine or marshmallow shade (a real trend for winter 2017) will come in handy.

Mint, pink, gray, burgundy, taupe colors are the most fashionable this season. Smooth texture, “bumps”, “braids”, oversized model - choose from the fashion trends the one you like best.

Fashionable look 3. School uniform + ribbons

If a strict school suit is a mandatory dress code, from which you cannot deviate in any detail, small details can serve as a way to create fashionable images.

Ribbons tied in a bow on a uniform blouse will be a more flirty touch than a school tie. A playfully tied ribbon in your hair will be an excellent alternative to a headband.

A small ribbon will become that piquant detail that will “make” the whole fashionable look, without provoking you to violate strict rules.

Fashionable look 4. School uniform + original shoes

Even if your school has very strict rules, this does not mean that you cannot wear original shoes.

Pumps are not always the only way to complement a school uniform. You can wear, firstly, what you are comfortable in, and secondly, what is fashionable.

Original shoes that serve as the finishing touch to a set with a school suit can be oxfords.

And the most daring fashionists, who claim to dictate the rules of school fashion, can resort to desperate experiments.

So, this year it is very fashionable to wear shoes with high socks, combine formal suits with sports and frankly masculine shoes.

Fashionable look 5. School uniform + color accents

Often, a school uniform means a classic set of clothes “white top - black bottom”. The school uniform for girls is a white or light blouse and a black (blue, checkered, but dark) knee-length skirt.

This can, on the one hand, depersonalize, but on the other, serve as an excellent blank canvas for color experiments.

The most contrasting color “trios” are white-black-red, white-black-yellow.

A color accent does not have to act as a large wardrobe detail (however, we do not exclude this option) - it can be the same ribbon, belt, bag, tights, shoes.

Fashionable look 6. School uniform + ruffles

Did you know that ruffles have not just come back into fashion - they have become the most noticeable fashion trend of the fall-winter 2016-2017 season.

So, you can, without breaking any strict rules, add a touch of flirtatiousness and femininity to your school uniform.

A white school blouse does not necessarily have to resemble a man's shirt. On the contrary, it can be decorated with ruffles in the neckline and on the cuffs, which will be visible even from under a uniform jacket.

Fashionable look 7. School uniform + shorts

Unless your school has a strict policy that only boys wear trousers and girls' school uniforms only require skirts, shorts are a great option for a fashionable look.

Of course, we are talking about an elongated model of shorts, made in a dark plain or checkered version.

A very stylish variation on the school uniform theme would be a set consisting of shorts, a shirt or blouse and a formal or club jacket. In this case, preference should be given to tight tights in order to maintain decency and visually lengthen your legs.

Fashionable look 8. School uniform + sundress

A sundress is in itself a very fashionable item of women's wardrobe. But it is also a universal answer to the question - the real trend of the fall-winter season 2016-2017.

A fashionable sundress will serve as an excellent alternative to a school suit - a great opportunity to replace two things with one.

And besides, it is quite variable: a sundress can be worn over a sweatshirt, school blouse, shirt, sweater.

Fashionable look 9. School uniform + creativity

If the charter of your educational institution is not so strict, you can independently create variations on the theme of “school uniform”. That is, within the framework of the rules, you can give free rein to your imagination and try on fashionable images that will not contradict the accepted dress code.

This means that clothes should be strict, but at the same time youthful. Fashionable, but within the bounds of decency.

For example: a T-shirt, tank top, or top with an open midriff are unacceptable. Shirts, blouses, club jackets, turtlenecks, jumpers, plain sweatshirts, sundresses, vests - please! Skinny jeans, miniskirts, maxi skirts, overalls are excluded. Banana pants, long shorts, A-line skirts no higher than knee length, suits are welcome!

As for the sports style, it should remain exclusively in physical education lessons. The rest of the time, only shoes and bags a la sporty style can be combined with a school uniform.

Fashionable look 10. School uniform + fashion accessories

The simplest and at the same time stylish way to add fashionable details to your school look is to use unusual accessories.

The choice is yours: it could be an original bag, bright boots, an unusually tied scarf, badges, a belt. Stylish hats have great potential.

Let it be a fedora, a trilby or a wide-brimmed one, a beret or a beanie hat.

In any case, the use of accessories, even the most daring ones, will in no way violate school rules. And you will kill two birds with one stone: within the walls of the educational institution you will be in a school uniform, and after finishing classes - a street fashionista who follows all fashion trends and knows how to apply them in her stylish appearances.

As you have seen, even within strict rules you can find a way to express yourself. And let the school uniform become not a heavy duty for you, but a way to embody your creative ideas for creating fashionable images.

School uniform is an integral part of the educational process. There were times when it was cancelled, but now almost all schools have decided to bring it back in a slightly modified format. Sociologists believe that school uniforms, or, more simply, dress codes, have a better effect on student performance.

Only when choosing you need to take into account practicality, convenience and, of course, its fashionable style. All these requirements for school uniforms continued in the 2018 school year.

Every year, parents rack their brains about what clothes to buy for school. Parents of first-graders treat this especially responsibly and with some concern. They do not yet have the experience and knowledge of what a first-born child needs in the first place for school. They can buy several unnecessary things that the child will wear once and will no longer need them.

To make their choice easier, we highlight a few of the most important points when buying a school uniform:

  1. Natural fabrics . The child is in the school for most of the day, naturally, clothes should allow his skin to “breathe”, otherwise the child will constantly sweat and feel awkward. But in order for parents not to constantly iron the selected item of clothing, it should contain a small amount of synthetic fibers. Then the student will look well-groomed, and not forever wrinkled, as is the case with completely natural fabrics. They are acceptable in the warm season; shirts or blouses can be sewn from them. Such clothes will still have to be changed daily, so it is better to stock up on at least three copies. This is especially true for first-graders.
  2. Shape color . Usually at school, at the first parent meeting, they talk about the permitted colors of the school uniform, and even if they sew it themselves, in most cases it is customary to focus on gray, black, blue, burgundy and green, and checkered patterns are also allowed.
  3. Purpose . There is no need to spend money on a large number of festive clothes; for boys it will be enough to buy one white shirt with adjustable sleeves; the same item of clothing may be suitable for girls, but for a festive change they can buy a skirt of an unusual style.
  4. Set of clothes . For a boy, for the entire school year you will need two trousers, four shirts, a golf or turtleneck, a vest, a jacket or a sweater. If he is also a fashionista, then pay attention to the bomber jacket. Girls should stock up on several blouses with different sleeve lengths, two skirts and a dress (sarafan), trousers and turtlenecks with decorative trim, a jacket, jacket, bolero and, if necessary, a vest.

By following these tips, you can save your family budget significantly.

Features of choosing a uniform for girls

Little coquettes are designed in such a way that even in school business style they want to stand out among their peers, regardless of age. For them, designers create new clothing models every year; let’s highlight the main features of the main outfits.

School uniform for girls and boys 2018

Dresses and sundresses

They are made simple and strict, but their sophistication is manifested in the original cut and comfortable styles. Dresses have long and short sleeves, in most cases they are intended for the cold period, but sundresses are universal and can be worn at any time of the year. It is enough to change a light blouse to a golf shirt and get warm clothes. With them it’s easy to create a new image every day. Having bought three blouses of different colors, for example blue, white and yellow, you can complement them with hairpins of the corresponding color and the girl will look different.

Sundresses can come with either narrow or wide straps, removable or not; in some models they can be adjusted, worn straight or crossed.

When choosing a dress or sundress, you need to focus on the student’s age and her figure.
Universal models are the following styles:

  • A-line and a-line are suitable for plump girls; it is often chosen by high school girls.
  • A straight cut with a pleated skirt is a style for first-graders, they look cute in it.
  • A checkered sundress with a flared skirt is suitable for skinny girls of any age.
  • The sheath dress is more suitable for high school girls.
  • Sundresses with numerous flounces are suitable for first-graders.

Blouses

Its snow-white version, decorated with a frill and an elegant brooch, will look elegant at any special event: the first bell, a class photo shoot, when the commission arrives and when passing an exam. Blouses for every day can be decorated with different ruffles, pleats and buttons that serve as decoration. They are sewn in different shades: light green, pink, blue, yellow, cream and light gray.

For special occasions, you can choose black polka dot chiffon blouses or checkered blouses made from lightweight material.

A blouse is a universal element of school clothes; it goes well with a sundress, pants, skirt and shorts.

Jackets and cardigans

They can easily be replaced by a bolero or a knitted sweater. All these items are designed to be worn in cold weather. For first-graders, it is more profitable to purchase three-piece sets: a jacket, a sundress and a skirt (trousers). It is still difficult to choose a jacket separately, so it is more rational to buy a suit “for growth” once than to choose suitable things every year.

Bolero is a unique item of clothing; it looks great with a blouse, golf, and also in tandem with a sundress. This is ideal for cool mornings in warm weather. Knitted sweaters and knitted cardigans help out at any time of the year; a child can wear them under winter outerwear, and then take them off indoors or wear them instead of a jacket at school.

Pants and shorts

Nowadays, many styles are offered for schoolgirls. Straight silhouettes remain in fashion, but breeches are more stylish. They look especially interesting on first-graders, making them confident and look like adult fashionistas. They go harmoniously with blouses with frills.

Many girls prefer shorts to skirts; they usually go just above the knee; shorter options are not allowed at school according to the rules. Schoolgirls feel comfortable in them; they don’t have to constantly adjust a twisted skirt and worry about it riding up. In cold weather, you can wear tights underneath.

USSR style school dresses from the Strict Silhouette brand

Another option for trousers, breeches, are not in such high demand, probably because they require appropriate shoes, and they are not always appropriate.

Skirts

They reflect all the uncontrollability of the designers’ thoughts. Among their numerous diversity, it is difficult to single out just one model. Many skirts are decorated with all kinds of ruffles, bows and even stones. Pencil skirts and straight-style analogues look interesting on little children, but most girls still prefer flared short skirts with pleats or pleating.

School uniform for boys

It’s easier to negotiate with the boys about buying school clothes. They prefer to dress comfortably and are rarely interested in whether it is fashionable now or not, but this only applies to first-graders; teenagers understand men's fashion no worse than girls. They want to look glamorous and stylish, because at school age, clothes are not only an indicator of taste, but also of puberty. Well-dressed guys attract more girls' glances.

Suits

They are suitable for all ages. First-graders should immediately buy a three-piece suit: pants, jacket and vest, and add two more spare pants to it. You can buy them in a slightly larger size and hem the legs, and roll them out as the child grows. Pants do not have to be with creases; pipes are quite suitable.

School uniform for boys from the Valenti KIDS brand

For high school students, it is permissible to choose unusual colors: light brown, blue and light gray. Naturally, it is preferable to wear such colors for festive events.

Shirts

The warm period of stay at school does not last long, so two short-sleeved shirts will be enough. You can buy one transformable shirt; they provide for converting a short sleeve into a long one, which is very convenient. Products for everyday wear come not only in plain colors, but also in faint stripes or checkered patterns. Shirt colors can vary from pale yellow, blue, light green and ending in a discreet orange shade.

Bombers

Now this type of cardigan is at the peak of popularity; many boys dream of such a stylish thing. It will advantageously distinguish the boy from the general mass of students. Some, like American films, sew on labels with the name of their football, volleyball or basketball team. The bomber not only looks great, it also reliably protects the child from the cold and piercing wind. The original tailoring of the sleeves makes the guy's image masculine.

Vests for boys from the Button Blue brand

First of all, it is necessary to choose comfortable school uniform models. Before purchasing, the child must try on the chosen item and move around in it to check whether it is too tight or restricts movement. The fittings on it must be reliable so that the student can handle it in any situation. Excessive decorative details are undesirable. A simple cut and proportional silhouette of the child in the chosen clothes are the main criteria for its selection.

In the modern educational system, an important element of the image is the school uniform. This concept has long ceased to be hated by fashionable trends in children's fashion. School uniforms for girls are more of an opportunity to highlight your personal style, to feel comfortable and comfortable among your peers.

The fashion industry and famous designer brands produce many items and clothing lines in their school collections for different seasons and occasions.

It is not difficult for mother and daughter to satisfy their wishes. The choice is possible for any financial income.

Introduction

Recently, everyone has become interested in the issue of reintroducing school uniforms into educational institutions. Now in Russia there is a lot of debate about whether students need a school uniform and what it gives: it increases discipline and academic performance or, on the contrary, it deprives them of individuality and interferes with the formation of a full-fledged personality.
According to statistics, the majority of parents and students are in favor of introducing school uniforms. Schoolchildren agree that each school needs to have its own uniform. Uniforms instill in children a taste for a business suit. She disciplines and puts you in a working mood. But the main thing is that it will put an end to competitions in clothing: “who is dressed more expensively today.”

It should be remembered that a school uniform is not so much an outfit as it is everyday clothing that a child wears 5-6 days a week. Therefore, it should be comfortable, practical and modern.

I. Collection, study and processing of information

1.1.Selection and justification of the problem and need that has arisen

The problem of a uniform school uniform sooner or later arises in every school. A uniform school uniform disciplines, puts you in a working mood, instills a taste for business-style clothing, eradicates the problem of “who is dressed more expensively,” saves parents money, fosters a sense of belonging and belonging to the home schooland pride in her.

the upper border of the knee and not lower than the middle of the shin).

In the cold season, students are allowed to wear jumpers,

sweaters and pullovers in matching colors.

We noticed that not all students responded positively to the introduction of school uniforms. We are interested and concerned about the appearance of students, so the idea of developing a comfortable school uniform seemed relevant and interesting. We decided to study publications in literature and the press and, having conducted our own research on this topic, tried to create a version of a school uniform that would meet all aesthetic requirements and appeal to the vast majority of teachers, students and parents.

1.2.Definition of specific goals and objectives

Goal: To design a model of a school uniform for girls, taking into account the opinions of students, teachers and parents.

Tasks:

    Get acquainted with the history of the development of school uniforms;

    Develop, on one basic basis, models of school uniforms for girls;

    Select the material for the selected model;

Develop a technological scheme for processing the model.

1.3. Identifying basic product requirements

Clothing is a set of products that cover and clothe the human body to ensure its vital functions. Of course, man invented and created clothes, first of all, out of the need to protect himself from unfavorable climate conditions or weather conditions, as well as from the desire to decorate himself.

Clothing should be comfortable to wear and beautiful, so that its owner feels natural, confident and comfortable. All this must be taken into account when creating new types of clothing.

Clothing requirements determine the immediate, social and individual value of clothing for a person. These indicators include:

Social, indicating the compliance of the size range of clothing with consumer demand, the competitiveness of clothing in the market, as well as compliance with the forecast of consumer demand;

Functional, determining the degree of compliance of the product with a specific purpose and operating conditions;

Aesthetic, determining the artistic concept of clothing and the degree of compliance with the established social ideal, the novelty of the model and design (i.e. compliance with modern style and fashion), the degree of perfection of the composition of the model;

Ergonomic, determining the degree to which clothing matches the characteristics of a person; its hygienic compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards; ease of use of the product in various conditions;

Operational, determining the degree of stability, maintaining the quality of clothing during operation, its reliability (resistance of materials and connecting seams to tensile loads, dimensional stability of parts and edges of clothing, wear resistance of materials and structural elements, i.e. durability).

Color is the most emotionally expressive characteristic, actively helping to form the image structure of a product and influencing the perception of other properties.

The ideal option is a beautiful, comfortable, practical and inexpensive uniform that does not wrinkle and does not require special care.

1.4. Historical reference

What do we know about the history of the creation of school uniforms? ?
School uniforms in Russia have a rich history. Until 1917, it was a class feature, because Only children of wealthy parents could afford to attend a gymnasium.
The exact date of the introduction of school uniforms in Russia is 1834. It was in this year that a law was adopted that approved a separate type of civilian uniform. The uniform of gymnasium students was a sign of class, because only the children of nobles, intelligentsia and large industrialists studied in gymnasiums. In all educational institutions, the uniform was of a military style: invariably caps, tunics and overcoats, whichOonly color, piping, buttons and emblems.

And from that time, until 1917, the style of the uniform changed several times (1855, 1868, 1896 and 1913) - according to fashion trends. But all this time the boys’ uniform fluctuated on the verge of a civilian-military suit. At the same time, the development of women's education began. Therefore, student uniforms were required for girls as well. The girls' uniform was approved a full 60 years later than the boys' uniform - in 1986, and... as a result, the first outfit for students appeared. It was a very strict and modest outfit. But the uniform for girls will delight us with familiar brown dresses and aprons - it was these suits that were the basis for the uniform of Soviet schools. And the same white collars, the same modesty of style.

However, soon after the revolution, As part of the fight against bourgeois remnants and the legacy of the tsarist police regime, a decree was issued in 1918 abolishing the wearing of school uniforms. Undoubtedly, in the early years of the Soviet state, wearing a school uniform was an unaffordable luxury in a country devastated by world war, revolution and civil war. The period of "formlessness" lasted until 1949. School uniforms become mandatory again only after the Great Patriotic War in the USSR and a unified school uniform is introduced. From now on, boys were required to wear military tunics with a stand-up collar, and girls - brown woolen dresses with a black apron. It is worth noting that in general, the school uniform for girls of the Stalin era was similar to the school uniform of Tsarist Russia.
It was then that white “festive” aprons and sewn-on collars and cuffs appeared - over time, only the style changed somewhat, but not the general essence of the girls’ uniform. On ordinary days, one was supposed to wear black or brown bows, and white bows with a white apron (even in such cases, white tights were welcomed).
The boys were dressed in gray military tunics with a stand-up collar, five buttons, two welt pockets with flaps on the chest; an element of the school uniform also included a belt with a buckle and a cap with a leather visor, which the boys wore on the street. At the same time, symbols became an attribute of youth students: pioneers had a red tie, Komsomol members and Octoberists had a badge on their chest.

In 1962, some changes were made: the boys' uniform became gray wool suits with four buttons. After 1973, boys had to come to classes in a blue uniform: straight trousers and a wool-blend jacket with five aluminum buttons, cuffs and the same two pockets with flaps on the chest.

In 1985 – 1987 changes also affected girls’ clothing: high school girls could change their dress and apron to a blue skirt, shirt, vest and jacket made of the same blue wool blend fabric.

In 1988, as an experiment, some schools were allowed to refuse to wear a uniform, and after 4 years it was officially abolished in all educational institutions of the Russian Federation, in accordance with the Law “On Education”. The exception then was educational institutions under the jurisdiction of the naval administration. Cadets and students of various military schools always wore uniforms.

1.6. Development of model sketches.

When developing a school uniform model, we considered various options. School uniform can be:

Set in the form of a skirt (pants)-vest;

Set in the form of a skirt (pants)-jacket;

Sundress or dress.

There are options for using a white blouse for special occasions and a dark one for everyday wear.

After conducting a survey of students, teachers and parents of our school, we chose a school uniform in the form of a dress.

When developing a dress for girls, we first of all took into account their physique and body proportions. She also took into account the nature of the movements and the children’s activities. The shape of the clothing, its silhouette, proportions, and the nature of the main details depend on these factors. The dress should be elegant, moderately strict and modern.

Finishing, which complements and decorates the product, is also of great importance in the design of clothing. The finishing of school clothes should be simple and go well with the product. For finishing, we decided to use raised seams, a decorative strip at the waist and large leaves at the entrances to the pockets. Knee length, which is ideal for schoolgirls. The model with turn-down collars allows you to use an overlay collar made of lace and other materials on special occasions. This charming image in retro style was liked by many students of our school, because... it combines two images, a Soviet-era style school uniform and the image of a modern schoolgirl.

The educational value of clothing for children is very great. A beautiful dress with well-chosen trim not only pleases the eye, but also develops artistic taste and teaches neatness, cleanliness, and frugality. In addition, beautiful clothes create a joyful mood.

Having developed sketches of the models, we chose model No. 4.

Dress with turn-down collars, a decorative placket at the waist and large leaves at the pocket entrances. Knee-length, perfect for school uniforms.

The fabric should be thick, wool or viscose. Because These fabrics due to their properties are most suitable for long-term use.

1.8. Marketing analysis of the product

To develop our own version of the product, we studied similar products sold in markets and stores. As a result of my research, I obtained the following results:

The offer of school clothing products is quite large. But the cost of the product is not always available. The products are made of dark materials and there are very few products made of quality fabric. This fact is explained by the fact that when modeling the school uniform, the opinions of the students themselves were not taken into account. Shops and market sellers primarily sell products made from synthetic fabrics, similar models, purchased at wholesale stores or from manufacturers.

I analyzed the price range of children's sizes 32-36 sold on the market and in stores. On the market, school clothes are relatively cheaper than in the store, but are often inferior in quality. During periods of falling demand, in winter and spring, the price of a product decreases and it can be bought cheaper, just like an item that has gone out of fashion.

You can purchase something made to order, but the price will increase significantly.

3. Market research also showed that it is quite difficult to find a product that simultaneously satisfies the price, content (design), and quality of the material.

Therefore, we can conclude that if you know how to cut and sew, it is much cheaper to make things yourself. It also saves time previously spent on choosing and purchasing a product. It is also very important that with individual sewing, “adjustment” occurs to the features of the figure, which is not taken into account when products are manufactured in a factory according to standard sizes. Due to the fact that the school uniform model should satisfy the needs of the majority, we propose a school uniform design for girls, which, according to the survey results, is the most acceptable.

1.9. Justification for the choice of fabric, tools, devices, equipment

Having decided on the model, I began to select the fabric, placing the following requirements on it:

The fabric, due to its structure and nature of the fiber, must meet hygienic requirements: retain heat, be hygroscopic, and be easy to clean, wash, and iron.

The colors of fabrics for school uniforms should not be bright, light or dark, but soft tones. It is better to avoid a combination of colors such as black and white; such a sharp contrast greatly tires the eyesight and can even cause a headache. The most suitable colors are beige, light brown or diluted green.

To ensure that the suit fits the schoolgirl’s figure well, does not restrict her movements, and does not lose its appearance during the school year, we decided to use viscose . Viscose is an artificial fabric, but the raw materials for production are cellulose and wood, i.e. natural substances. Therefore it meets the requirements that TCanvas for school clothes should contain no more than 55% synthetic fibers.

When choosing the color of the fabric, we proceeded from the fact that modern schoolchildren are very restless, sometimes even aggressive. Light brown color is calm, mysterious. It symbolizes wisdom, intuition and deep knowledge. The main “mission” of brown is to create harmony in the environment, so this color is extremely important. It has a calming effect on the human nervous system and awakens the energy of the subconscious. It gives clothes a solemn and luxurious look, combined with colors such as gold and all shades of yellow.

This fabric has a number of advantages:

Has a good appearance

Has good technological properties

- the most famous property of viscose is hygroscopicity

Viscose fibers provide strength, do not shrink, which is important for frequent washing, are easy to wash and have elasticity.

Selection of equipment, tools and devices.

    Sewing machine "brother", overlock.

    Iron, ironing board, ironing iron.

    Hand needle, pins, scissors, thimble.

Cotton threads No. 40 and reinforced threads No. 45 - for machine work.

    Measuring tape, cutter's ruler, chalk.

Additional materials: drawing paper, fashion magazines.

Additions necessary when constructing products

When constructing a drawing of the base of a shoulder product, it is necessary to know the length of the product Di, which is established according to the model. For example, the length taken is 82 cm. To construct a drawing of the base of a dress with a semi-adjacent silhouette, the following increases were selected: Pg = 6.0 cm; P sh = 1.5; Pvgs=0.2; Pspr=2.0; P shs=1.0;

P shg=1.0; P dts=0.5;P og=0.4; Pt=4.0 ;Pb=2…3.0

2.2. Product base modeling

Having determined the type of product, and having established its cut and silhouette as a result of analysis, we select the basic basis of the design, the drawings of the parts of which are closest to the original model. Taking into account: the type of product (dress); type of material (viscose); cut of the product; silhouette of the product (semi-adjacent); product size (36).

After selecting the base base, we make copies from the detail drawings. To do this, transfer the contours of the parts onto thick paper, simultaneously transferring the position of the chest line, waist, hips, as well as all control points. We carefully check the copies against the original.

When modeling the dress, we used the template method, which gives good results and is not labor-intensive.

2.3. Construction of patterns

Before starting to build patterns, in the design drawing of any product they check whether the parts of the product match at the points of their connection, both in configuration and along the length of the line connecting the sections.

Having aligned the back and the shelf along the shoulder line, check the alignment of the armhole line with the neck line. Check the fit along the armhole line.

If the original patterns fully correspond to the developed sample of a specific model, they are copied and the necessary technological allowance is added to each section of the part. (Annex 1)

2.5. Safety precautions

Safety instructions for working with fabric

Store needles and pins in a specific place (cushion, special box, etc.), do not leave them at your work place.

Do not use rusty needles and pins when working, and never put needles or pins in your mouth.

Sew only with a thimble.

Attach the patterns to the fabric with the sharp ends of the pins facing away from you.

Do not lean close to moving parts of the sewing machine.

Do not keep your fingers near the sewing machine foot to avoid getting pierced by the needle.

Before sewing a garment using a sewing machine, make sure there are no pins or needles along the seam line.

Do not bite the threads with your teeth, but cut them with scissors.

Safety instructions for working with an electric iron

Do not leave the iron plugged in unattended.

Turn the iron on and off with dry hands.

Place the iron on a thermally insulated stand.

Make sure the iron is working properly and report any problems to your teacher.

Make sure that the sole of the iron does not touch the cord.

Unplug the iron using the plug only.

Safety instructions when using a sewing machine

Tuck hair under a scarf.

Before work, remove foreign objects from the machine platform, secure the needle and presser foot.

Before sewing the product, check to see if there is a pin or needle left in it.

While working, do not lean close to the moving needle bar.

Do not keep your fingers close to the presser foot and the moving needle; stitch thick spots at low speed.

Do not approach students working on machines and do not distract them from their work.

When working on a manual machine, only the operator himself turns the handle of the flywheel.

    Performance evaluation

3.1. Environmental assessment

For the manufacture of the product, natural fabrics were used that have passed the appropriate certification and, in accordance with GOST, do not harm human health. When using viscose fabrics, children are not at risk of allergies, skin and respiratory diseases, which is often caused by wearing things made of synthetic fibers.

Products made from modern artificial fabrics of excellent quality provide consumers with comfort.

The color of the product does not psychologically tire the eye. This color has a beneficial effect on the nervous system, improves mood, and relieves stress.

3.2. Economic assessment

Calculation of the full cost of the dress. The production of which requires the following costs.

Material costs also include energy consumption.

a) working on a sewing machine: 5 hours

b) The total power consumption of a modern sewing machine is about 100 W, or 0.1 kW. If the fee for 1 kW is 1 rub. 98 kopecks, then the cost of work for 5 hours will be 9.9 rubles.

Labor costs are savings; therefore, the total cost is made up of materials costs and electricity costs.

Total cost = 680 + 9.9 = 689 rubles 90 kopecks.

Making a dress with your own hands saves on labor costs. But our main goal was to create a school uniform project of such a style so as not to buy a lot of different clothes, and this model can be used both for everyday wear and for a holiday option, giving a formal look with the help of various accessories (removable collars, cuffs).

3.3. Assessment of the quality of the completed project

Since schools have now introduced school uniforms, while working on the project, we set ourselves a goal: to design a model of a school uniform for girls, taking into account their opinions.

In our work, we developed sketches of models taking into account modern fashion, selected environmentally friendly fabrics for the product that met the requirements for this product. We selected equipment and tools. We learned to make calculations when constructing a product, taking into account the necessary increments, to model different types of dresses on one selected basis, which significantly reduces the time for constructing and calculating new models and is a positive aspect in the work. We developed a technological sequence for processing and assembling the product, calculated the total cost of the product, issued an advertising booklet, and built patterns.

To compare the consumer qualities of purchased products offered by stores, our product turned out to be more environmentally friendly and economical, and in line with modern fashion trends.

We are satisfied with the work completed, and we truly enjoyed the process of working on a creative project. (Appendix 2)
