DIY chocolate card by a master. Master class on making a chocolate bowl in scrapbooking style with step-by-step photos and video tutorials (great for beginners). Beautiful chocolate bowls for Happy Teacher's Day: beautiful options

Oncology

There is less than a week left until the New Year and preparations for the fabulous holiday are in full swing. Let's imagine ourselves as wizards for a moment and create a beautiful New Year's gift wrapping for a chocolate bar.

We will make a box for the “Babaevsky 75%” chocolate bar, the size of the chocolate bar is 16.3 x 9 cm.

First, let's prepare the materials:

  • 1 sheet of A4 watercolor paper for the base (I have a Palazzo “White Rose” watercolor tablet)
  • scrapbooking paper 2 sheets 30x30 cm
  • New Year's decor (berries, artificial snow, chipboard, stamens, piece of knitted lace)
  • sheet for cutting or ready-made cutting
  • powder, ink and hair dryer for embossing (can be replaced with acrylic paint mixed with glitter, I told you how to mix)
  • glue for paper and decorations
  • scissors or cutter
  • ruler
  • pencil
  • eraser
  • scoring board (replacement for scoring stick and mat or crochet hook and mat)

Let's start creating the base and for this we will need a template. I created a template specifically for your convenience; I indicated all the sizes in it. The dotted line indicates the fold line. The template is available in PDF format. You can download and print it, or when creating the base, check the template on the monitor screen.

We take a sheet of A4 format, lay it horizontally and draw 4 stripes, retreating from each edge, first 0.5 cm, and then 1.2 cm, and also draw on the other side: 0.5 cm and 1.2 cm.

Place the sheet horizontally again and draw lines vertically: 8 cm; 1.2 cm; 8 cm; 1.2 cm; 7 cm - these will be our fold lines.

We cut off the excess

We crease using a creasing board and a special stick. You can use a crochet hook and a mouse pad.

Trying it on with chocolate

Take scrapbooking paper and cut out rectangles. The paper for the inside and outside should be different, but the shades should match each other. It is advisable to use paper from the same collection.

outer part: 17.2x7.6 cm - 2 pcs; 17.2x6.7 cm - 1 piece

inner part: 17.2x7.6 cm - 2 pcs; 17.2x6.7cm - 1 piece

sides: 0.9x17.2 - 4 pcs (2 pcs of different designs), must be glued to the inside and outside; 0.9x6.7cm - 2 pcs (1 pc of different design)

Glue the paper to the workpiece

Glue the box together and try on the chocolate bar

We select the decor, take pictures of everything with a cell phone or camera, see if everything fits and start gluing the decor.

First we decorate the chipboard. I coated it with clear glitter embossing powder. For this I needed special powder, ink and a hair dryer for embossing. Unfortunately, the powder turned out to be not very shiny, so I had to cover the chipboard with powder three times. If it is not possible to work using the embossing technique, then you can cover it with ink, acrylic paint of a suitable color, mix acrylic paint with glitter or spread glue and sprinkle with the same glitter, or you can leave it in a craft color.

Let's start creating volumetric decor. We cut off part of the lace and glue it to the box, then glue the chipboard.

We cut out pictures from the New Year's sheet or take ready-made die-cuts and glue beer or bookbinding cardboard to the back for volume.

Now we put everything together into a common composition

We decorate the top of the box with artificial snow. First we apply glue. I use Tacky Glue, you can use thick PVA or any suitable glue.

Then we decorate the inside of the box. I decorated with lettering and snowflakes from chipboard, die-cutting and die-cutting. The chipboard was covered with powder, first with white powder, then with transparent powder with glitter. I cut out the bunny from a sheet of die-cut paper and glued beer cardboard to the back for volume. I applied Tacky Glue to the die-cut, chipboard and under the bunny and sprinkled it with artificial snow.

The chocolate maker is ready!

Happy New Year, everyone! Creative success and good mood!

Hi all!
Today I will finally fulfill my promise and tell you how I made this chocolate maker:

However, the object of our attention will be the interior design. I have already said and I want to repeat again: the idea of such a design does not belong to me, but to a talented person unknown to me, who posted a photo of his creation on the Internet. Here I will show and tell you how I made a chocolate bowl with such pockets.

For work we will need cardboard, scrap paper, glue, cutting and creasing tools. I do not mention decorations here, because the decor of the outer part of the chocolate bowl will not be included in the master class. But what else will not hurt you when working with its “insides” is a real chocolate bar and tea bags :) I will tell you here all the parameters of my pockets, but keep in mind that they are tested only on a certain type of chocolate and tea :)
So, let's start preparing the parts for our chocolate maker.
For its base, cut out a 17x22 cm rectangle from cardboard and crease it in the middle (at a distance of 10 and 12 cm from the edge).

The second detail is the future pocket for chocolate. It starts with a 10x12 cm cardboard rectangle. We make folds on the rectangle, as shown in the photo. The distance between adjacent lines is 1 cm. We crease the long side on both sides, and the short side on one side.

And one more type of parts for which we need creasing. These are future pockets for tea bags. We take rectangles measuring 8.8x14 cm. We bend along the long sides on both edges at a distance of 1 cm from the edge. We also make a fold line across, dividing the 14 cm side into 6 and 8 cm.

The creasing tool can be put aside. Now we have to make several cuts. Let's transform the chocolate pocket like this (I think you can easily do this by comparing two photos)

We cut the remaining punched squares on one side and turn them into “ears”:

Then we simply bend our part along all the fold lines -

... and it will fold itself into a pocket like this. We glue the “ears” to the “bottom” of the pocket, and we also glue the transverse strip along the edges.
What you see in the photo below is the back view of the pocket. We will then glue it to the base using these folded edges.

Now let's take care of the tea pockets. From our blanks we cut out such a part (we cut off the edges of the shorter half)

We bend it and we get this nice pocket. I rounded the corners of the valves with a special hole punch.

Glue the front side to the valves. We repeat the entire procedure with two other pockets :)

Here, in fact, are all the difficulties :) all that remains is to glue the pockets to the base (previously covered with scrap paper). Don't forget to try on the chocolate and bags :)

A small sign of attention can sometimes lift your mood for a long time and make a person smile. And if you attach a sweet gift to this sign of attention, then a positive charge of long-lasting action is simply guaranteed!

For those who have a sweet tooth, I suggest making a cute chocolate bowl with pockets for tea or coffee. Such a gift can be given to work colleagues, educators or teachers, or a loved one with the words: “This is a small gift for a short break” or “Just for tea.” In any case, the person will be pleased.

To make such a chocolate box you will need: cardboard (can be colored or any decorative one), decorative paper for scrapbooking (you can use regular office paper and print various patterns on it on a color printer), glue stick, ruler, scissors, various materials for decoration (rhinestones) , beads, feathers, artificial/paper flowers, lace, etc.), a chocolate bar and three individually wrapped tea bags. By the way, if you don’t have sheets of cardboard at hand, an office binder is perfect.

The base of the chocolate maker is a cardboard rectangle 22 cm wide and 17-18 cm high. In the middle of the rectangle, draw vertical lines with a pencil at a distance of 2 cm and bend the rectangle inward along them. You should end up with something like a cover. Then we start making pockets for chocolate and tea.

For a chocolate pocket, cut out a rectangle measuring 10*12 cm from cardboard, make two folds 1 cm wide on three sides (sides and bottom). Make cuts on the folds (see picture) and glue the side folds to the bottom ones.

For tea pockets, cut three rectangles, each 14 cm high and 9 cm wide. We bend the edges, retreating 1 cm. Then we divide the rectangle into 2 parts (6 and 8 cm each) and fold it. We round off the upper edges for the most part, and cut off centimeter folds from the lower (smaller) part. Glue the bottom part to the folds from the top part - the pocket is ready.

We decorate our pockets and the base of the chocolate box with decorative paper (lace, cut-outs, drawings) as your imagination dictates (or the photo below). Then we glue our pockets to the base: on one side we glue a pocket for chocolate from the bottom, on the other - three pockets for tea (they need to be glued one on top of the other, starting from the top).

We finally decorate the chocolate bowl both inside and outside, if desired, glue ribbon ties (they stick well with double-sided tape).

Such a chocolate maker can not only be a nice little gift, but can also easily replace a money envelope for a celebration if you put not tea in your tea pockets, but a folded banknote.

Dare, create - do something nice for yourself and those around you!

Hello, dear readers of the Domovenok-Art blog! I am very glad to meet you! Today I’m treating everyone to virtual chocolate🍫, and at the same time sharing my experience. That's right, today there will be a master class from which you will learn how to make such a cute and very comfortable chocolate maker postcard with your own hands.

These cards can rightfully be considered a lifesaver for all occasions, or rather holidays, and to be even more precise, not for all, but for many. And fortunately for needlewomen, people who are not indifferent to handmade, a lot, so when going to a holiday and taking such a chocolate card with you, there is a high chance of making a pleasant impression on the recipient of the gift and leaving a piece of your love in your heart 💓.

The peculiarity of today's chocolate maker is that

Tile pocket
Made along the entire length of the postcard.
And the tiles are closed at the top and bottom,
Therefore, the chocolate does not fall out.

Spontaneous poetic pause))) Yes, the pocket is equipped with a small window.

Well, in general, it’s quite convenient and functional. Let's begin!

First of all, we collect materials:

  • cardstock (or thick pastel paper) A4 size;
  • scrap paper 2-3 matching prints;
  • chocolate bar;
  • satin ribbon 7 mm wide;
  • decorative elements - half beads, flowers, lace paper napkins, cutting out twigs, paper rope;
  • stamping ink;
  • silicone stamp;
  • gel pen;
  • curly scissors (optional);
  • glue gun or Moment Crystal (Titanium, Dragon);
  • glue stick;
  • bulky double-sided tape;
  • ruler;
  • scissors;
  • stationery knife.

How to make a chocolate maker postcard. Master Class

Quite tasty colors were chosen for this chocolate maker - pale purple with a grunge touch of antiquity and glamorous lace, as well as a more neutral color of space cream with notes.

Preparing the base for a chocolate card

To create the base for the chocolate box postcard, we will use A4 cardstock. For standard 100g. tiles you can use here sample(to enlarge, click on the picture, and then to return to viewing the master class - Esc):

Cut along solid lines. Using a stationery knife, carefully break through the window. And we go along the dotted lines with a scoring tool, which can be any blunt and thin object (a non-writing pen with a thick rod, a knitting needle, etc.).

We bend our base along these lines and leave it alone for now.

Lettering for a chocolate card

Cut out three rectangular pieces from cardboard for a congratulatory inscription on a chocolate card. One - made of light cardboard, size 4.5x2.5 cm, the second - from scrap paper of a darker shade (the same size), and the third - 4x2 cm made from light-colored scrap paper. We round the corners of the first and third parts.

Using dark ink we tint the edges of the small part.

We apply a congratulatory inscription using a gel pen or any other method. If your handwriting resembles more hieroglyphs 🙈, you can print the text on this sheet of scrap paper in advance. In order to give the letters volume, you can apply glue with glitter (glitter) over the inscription or use embossing powder (if you have it, of course :)

After drying, glue this part with a dark (purple) rectangle.

We cut out another rectangle measuring approximately 4.5x3 cm from scrap paper of a lighter shade (you can search among the scraps). We mark an arc on it and use curly scissors to cut out the edge. You can completely do without them, as in my own master class, published on the Domovenok-Art blog. So, this part also needs to be tinted around the edges. I did this with two colors of ink: brown and dark purple. The result is a color scorched by time, which will be visible in the following photos.

Using a silicone stamp and ink, we make an impression. I chose a stamp in the theme of a music print (that’s why, to create this element, I recommend choosing something from the scraps, similar in color, but with a different pattern).

And here is, in fact, that same color:

We will also need two inscriptions to emphasize the individuality of the gift. To do this, cut out two substrates about a centimeter wide from white cardboard; the length will depend on the length of your inscription. This master class presents the “Beloved Grandmother” option, so you need 2 backgrounds, one per word.

We also cut out two more parts from music paper. They should be 3-4 mm smaller in size than the substrates just cut out.

We tint the edges of these four parts for the inscriptions on the chocolate card.

We connect them together with pencil glue. Next we make the necessary inscriptions.

Background for a chocolate card

Let's get back to our basics. For now it’s just white, inconspicuous and not very festive. It's time to get busy background for a chocolate card. As the main one we will have the pale purple print that I wrote about above.

We cut out 2 rectangles measuring 16x7 cm, as well as two strips 0.8x16 cm and one 1x16 cm.

From the same paper we cut out 2 strips of 0.8x7 cm.

In addition, to decorate the inside we will need a rectangle of music scrap paper measuring 16x6.8 cm, as well as a strip measuring 0.9x16 cm.

We glue the purple stripes to the outside of our future chocolate card. The one that is wider is glued on the side where there is no window.

By the way, about the window. We place one of our purple blanks on this part from the outside, through little window draw a hole with a pencil. Then we put the base aside, and on scrap paper we step back 3 mm from the outline and draw another one. We cut out a new window along it with a stationery knife.

Now we glue this part on the outside. And a small touch - cut out a piece with a rectangular corner from a round lace paper napkin and glue it on, as shown in the photo:

Glue the second purple rectangle on the opposite side (also on the outside!)

Assembling a postcard - a chocolate bowl

On the front side (which does not have a window) in the upper third we glue a part with an imprint with a slight shift to the right. A little lower and to the left along the edge we glue the second part of the lace napkin. In addition, we glue a ribbon - a tie - to the Crystal Moment, leaving enough length to make a bow.

Now let's paste it over inner part chocolate maker cards. To do this, first prepare a part with notes. Approximately at a height of ¼ from the top, glue the ribbon using instant glue. We bend the ends to the wrong side.

The next step is to glue this part inside the chocolate bowl on the left side. And don’t forget to attach another strip to the inner fold (I hope you haven’t lost it yet?)))). You can see where to glue it in the bottom photo.

And now let's go back to front side chocolate cards. Directly above the ribbon we glue a white backing under the congratulatory inscription (we cut it out a little earlier). And on double-sided voluminous tape - the very inscription “Happy Birthday” can be slightly offset. And below are two more inscriptions (in this master class they are “beloved” and “grandmother”).

Glue three branches with leaves to the napkin👆. They can be carefully cut from scrap paper using small scissors or a breadboard knife. And on top of the branches there is a bow made of paper rope. I also glued another small piece of rope (not shown in the photo above).

Using hot glue, we attach the flower 🌺 and half beads to the front side of the chocolate card.

Now you can finish assembling our chocolate bowl: to do this, glue the specially left tail to the base. The result is a box for sweets.

For contrast, you can stick another small rectangle on the left musical side below. And if desired, it can also be used as a pocket for a monetary gift or for inserting cards with congratulations.

And now the most crucial moment: we put a chocolate bar into our card. Close the box on both sides. Voila!

Our chocolate card is ready! Comfortable, functional, versatile. I hope you enjoyed the master class and found it interesting and understandable. But if anything, you can always ask a question in the comments below. Although on the other hand ignorance is a great way to gain your own, most valuable experience and, of course, create a unique product!

All the best to you! Give gifts that are delicious and with soul! See you soon on the Domovenok-Art blog! Your brownie Elena.

Template and step-by-step decorating master class for beginners

Cut out a chocolate bowl template from white paper with the dimensions indicated in the stencil. Dimensions are given for a box for a standard chocolate bar.

Please note that chocolate may have different parameters. Therefore, it is recommended to first buy the tiles and measure them, and then start doing the work.

Make folds at the base of the workpiece. To do this, use the tip of scissors or a large needle to draw lines along which you will bend the template. Do this carefully so as not to cut through the paper. Then bend the workpiece along these lines and straighten it.

Cut out pieces from printed paper to fit the front, inside and pocket. You can make them 0.5 cm smaller than the base, so that when finished, a frame is formed around the picture. This way the product will look more beautiful.

Before assembling the chocolate bowl, you need to cover its base with scrap paper. First glue the part to the inside of the box, apply glue around the perimeter.

Cut two ribbons 15-18 cm long from the ribbon for the ties. They need to be glued to the base under the scrap paper.

Place one ribbon in the middle of the front side, applying a little glue to the edge.

Glue the prepared printed paper on top.

Attach the second ribbon to the fold of the outside of the pocket. Glue scrap paper on top.

Attach a butterfly to the upper left corner of the spread. To do this, coat the center of the figure with glue. Press the middle with your finger and hold for a few seconds until it sets. Fold the edges of the wings slightly upward. The butterfly will look voluminous.

In the lower right corner of the chocolate bowl, stick an element with an inscription; you can buy it or make it yourself.

Take the flowers to decorate the front side and twist their stems together. Trim the tip of the stems, leaving a short tail.

Wrap the tip of the stems with lace ribbon, after lubricating it with glue. Let it dry a little.

Apply glue to the upper corner of the front part and the tip of the bouquet. Place the bouquet on the paper and press well. Hold until the part is secure. Then lay the edges of the lace ribbon in the form of waves and glue them on different sides of the flowers.

At the bottom of the chocolate bowl, stick a label with the inscription “for you” and a butterfly. By the way, you can additionally do this by continuing the line.

Fold the pocket along the folds and glue it to the base.

Decorate the inside of the chocolate gift box with rhinestones.

Place a chocolate bar inside and tie a ribbon.

If such a gift seems too modest for another occasion, make a bouquet of sweets, or, using our step-by-step lessons. Sweet gifts are appropriate for any occasion; both women and men are happy with them.
