It's no secret that all children love Kinder surprises. Delicious chocolate on the outside and a surprise toy inside – how little does a child need to be happy! What if you try to switch places between the toy and the chocolate? Will it be as fun, tasty and interesting?

Today I will show you how to make an interesting craft for Easter. At the same time, we’ll check whether a bright yellow chicken made from an eggshell with a chocolate egg inside can compete with a traditional Kinder surprise.

Tools and materials for making the Easter chick:

• raw egg with white shell
• yellow acrylic paint
• brush
• scissors
• cardboard
• felt (white, black, red, brown, yellow)
• white floss threads
• glue "Moment Crystal"
• thin black marker
• dark chocolate bar
• syringe
• vinegar

First of all, I get rid of the contents of the eggshell. To do this, use a needle to make a small hole from the sharp end of the egg,

from the blunt end there is a larger hole.

I pierce the yolk with a needle and blow out the contents of the egg. I rinse the empty eggshells thoroughly with running water.

To further disinfect the shell, I place it in a solution of 500 ml of water and 100 ml of vinegar. I bring the solution to a boil. I boil the eggshells for 15 minutes. Then I take it out of the water and dry it thoroughly.

If I remember correctly, chickens are usually yellow in color. Except, of course, for those that were painted for Easter instead of eggs.

Cuties. But I still prefer traditional yellow chickens.

Turning eggshells from white to lemon yellow couldn't be easier. To do this, you need to color the egg with turmeric. I even showed myself how this can be done.

So this time I wanted to paint the shell using a proven method. However, this was not the case: it turned out that the once extensive household reserves of turmeric had dried up.

In order not to put off making Easter crafts because of such a trifle, I paint the shell with yellow acrylic paint.

In my opinion, it turns out well.

Now the colored shell can be filled with chocolate.

I break a bar of dark chocolate into pieces. I melt the chocolate in a water bath.

Since I don’t have a pastry syringe, I arm myself with a sterile 20 ml syringe and fill the prepared shell with melted chocolate. Periodically, I gently shake the shell so that there are no air bubbles left inside.

To my surprise, it takes almost the entire chocolate bar to create a chocolate egg with your own hands. There remains just a little bit of melted chocolate mass on the bottom of the pan. And my daughter and I decorate the Easter bunny, Easter cockerel, Easter squirrel, and, in my opinion, even the Easter elephant with leftover chocolate.

All. The chocolate has run out.

While the chocolate is setting, I have time to prepare the felt pieces for my Easter eggshell craft.

This is an Easter eggshell chick pattern. You can download and print it:

2 – part of the white of the eye 2 pcs.

4 – wing part 2 pcs.

5 – beak detail 1 pc.

6 – part of the stand in the shape of an egg 1 pc.

First I cut out all the parts from cardboard.

Remember, when we sewed an Easter egg from felt, I encouraged you to carefully save even the smallest felt scraps. And now the time has come to use them. I cut out the Easter chick pieces from scrap felt.

I glue the details of the pupils of the eyes to the details of the whites. I secure the parts with a French knot stitch made with white floss thread in 4 folds.

As children, many of us wore a Kinder Surprise egg around our necks, where caring mothers and grandmothers put killer doses of garlic so that the child would not get sick. Knitted animals

This master class is no longer for children: you will make knitted toys from Kinder surprises yourself. Although, of course, your child will play with these funny dolls.

Additionally, you will need thin threads or felt, as well as artificial eyes made of plastic or beads, plus any decor.

The Kinder egg needs to be crocheted from top to bottom using regular circular knitting. Try to change colors to make the toy look more colorful. However, the choice of thread depends on who you are going to make.

Take a look at the proposed ideas - they are quite easy to repeat. Try making your child's favorite fairy-tale characters or any animals.

If you don't like to knit, you can cover the Kinder Surprise egg with felt or woolen fabric. Add some decor to it and you will have a great toy.

Minions

If you have a lot of empty Kinder eggs, you can make an entire army of minions from them with your own hands - heroes of the popular children's cartoon. If your child likes these funny creatures, he will definitely appreciate their miniature versions.

To make a minion, we need to take blue and black materials, as well as an artificial eye.

You can paint the material with whatever you have on hand. This could be acrylic paints, permanent markers or even nail polish. If there is nothing like that, take pieces of fabric and glue them onto kinder surprises. If this option is also not suitable, you can stick regular plasticine on plastic eggs.

The eye can be made from pill backing and a tiny piece of black fabric and then glued on with superglue.

Bees

From Kinder eggs you can make a large toy beehive with your own hands, which will be interesting for your child to play with. Additionally, you will need a sleeve or cardboard, paints, threads and a few more accessories.

Bees can be different. How to make them from Kinder eggs depends on what you have on hand. Stripes on the bee’s body can be made from “fluffy” decorative wire, black thread or thin colored tape, or simply drawn with acrylic paints or a marker.

Glue the eyes onto the Kinder egg using plasticine or glue, or you can simply draw them. The basis here can be plastic blanks, beads, fabric or paper. We make wings from paper, plastic folder or wire.

To make the honeycomb to which we will then attach our Kinder Surprise bees, we need to divide the sleeve into rings of equal width. Place 5 pieces in the center, then a row of 4 pieces on top and bottom, and then a row of three - glued with PVA or stapled, and then painted with yellow paint.

You can also make artificial paper flowers for bees to explain to your child how these creatures turn pollen into honey and organize an interesting game for him.

Kinder Zoo
