The celebration of Halloween has become traditional in recent years. A creepy, but very cheerful holiday gives the opportunity not only for children, but also for adults to play pranks to their hearts' content. You can show your imagination and amaze your guests with ominous makeup, intricate dishes and table settings with gloomy decor. So we will try to decorate the house in an original way - we will create with our own hands a decorative wreath in the form of a huge hairy spider that sits in a web.

To make a decorative wreath with cobwebs we will need:

• willow branches
• black spray paint
• white cotton thread
• white fluffy yarn "grass"
• rosehip branches and dry herbs

To create a hairy spider we will need:

• felting wool black and gray
• wire
• black wool thread
• felting needle
• foam sponge
• side cutters
• narrow nose pliers

We will make a frame for the web from willow branches. To do this, we roll one willow branch into a ring, then we braid the required number of branches around it, creating volume. The ends of the branches do not need to be cut; the rods sticking out in different directions will give our web a natural and sinister look.

If desired, you can also stick several sprigs of dried herbs or flowers into the base.

The finished base must be painted black; acrylic aerosol paint is best for this. The paint has a strong odor, so it should be used outdoors, for example, on a balcony. Before painting, the willow base should be placed on newspapers or another surface that is not afraid to get dirty. Leave until completely dry for several hours.

We tie a white cotton thread at one end to a willow base, stretch it to the opposite side of the base, as if marking the diameter of the circle, tie the end with a strong knot and cut it off.

In the same way, we stretch a few more threads, trying to make equal spaces between them. I have only 8 threads or 16 rays extending from the center.

Next, we will weave a web from yarn, the idea is borrowed from the amulets of Siberian shamans, this is how their dream catcher is woven - kytgyem. The end of the yarn is fixed with a knot at the base of one of the rays, the yarn is pulled to the next ray and again fixed with a knot, thus tying a knot on each ray.

Having passed the first circle, we weave in a spiral, gradually narrowing the circles, reaching the center, we cut the thread.

The yarn looks great, giving the web a real appearance.

DIY hairy spider

Let's start making the spider with its legs. Using side cutters, cut the required amount of wire. Three blanks will be the same length, one slightly shorter for the front legs and one very small for the jaws.

We bend the wire in the shape of the letter “M”, bending the ends using narrow-nose pliers.

We braid each wire with black woolen thread, starting from the center, then in a spiral one leg, pass the end of the thread into the bend of the wire for better fixation, go up in a spiral and braid the second leg in the same way.

When all the leg pieces are ready, we begin making the abdomen, which we will make from wool. Place some wool on a foam sponge and use a felting needle to shape it into an egg-like shape.

We insert all pairs of legs inside the abdomen and fix them, continuing to felt the base of the spider.

In the same way we make the spider's head by inserting a wire with jaws inside it.

We connect the head and abdomen, cover the top with black wool, and if desired, you can also paint the spider with spray paint.

We make a drawing on the spider’s body, wrap each leg with gray wool and knock out the outline of a cross on the back. We beautifully bend the legs of our spider and place it on the web; it does not need any additional fastening.

We decorate the web according to our taste, inserting rosehip branches, bird feathers, etc. into the willow base.

The web with the spider turned out great, all that remains is to hang it on a tree at the entrance to the house or in a room on the wall.

I worked with regular lint-free knitting threads. If you use mohair, the web will turn out fluffier.

1. Let's start with the basics. Cut 3 threads of the same size. The longer they are, the larger the web will be.

2. Attach the base to the surface. Depending on the finish of the walls, the threads can be secured using tailor's pins or double-sided tape. The main thing is not to spoil the coating.

3. Unwind a small ball of working thread. We tie the tip to the middle where the main threads intersect.

4. Step back a couple of centimeters from the middle and wrap the main thread around the working thread. We transfer the working thread to the adjacent main thread and wrap it again. We continue this way until the web is ready. If the thread runs out, you can tie an additional one to it.

The web is ready. All that remains is to make a resident for her.

DIY spider - materials and tools

Time spent: 10 minutes. We will need:

• aluminum wire - about 50 cm
• wire cutters
• pliers
• Knitting
• PVA or hot glue.

How to make a spider with your own hands

1. Straighten the aluminum wire using pliers and cut it into 3 parts with wire cutters.

2. We tie all three pieces of wire with threads in the middle.

3. We wind the pieces of wire together in the middle crosswise.

4. We begin to wrap the spider's leg. First from top to bottom, and then from bottom to top. To prevent the thread from slipping, you can secure it at the tip with glue. Repeat the step with each paw.

5. Now we form the abdomen. To save thread, you can first wrap the middle with masking tape and the top with knitting threads.

Spread all the spider's legs in different directions.

Cut 2 cm from the red wire.

Grasp the spring by the two side spirals. Press them together.

Thread a piece of red chenille through the hole of the two rings. Bring the two ends together and twist twice. Cut off the excess part with scissors.

Scroll the red part inward.

Place the spiral with the red spot in the middle. Attach two rings to each side.

Press the last ring.

Attach the wire to the center of the product between the paws. Leave about 1 cm at the top. Scroll the bottom part to the background and let it come out between two pairs of right paws.

Bring the end opposite horizontally, moving to the background. On the bottom side of the craft, return the wire to the starting point.

Cut a piece of material.

Secure the end of the new chenille wire under the first leg on the left side of the spider. Go to the right. Scroll twice and move to the lower part of the body, where you should scroll the material between the last two paws.

On the back side, twist the two ends twice and remove the excess length.

Thread the remaining piece through the hole.

Place this part at the bottom of the torso. Scroll the top on the right side between the first paw and the horn.

Bring it down and place the wire between the red spot. Bend it up and move it to the second horn. Secure it there. Do the same with the other end.

Bend the spider's legs upward.

Bend the lower ends of the paws again by 1 cm, and remove the excess length with scissors.

Tip: If you don’t have enough black fondant or you only found brown marshmallows, then make these cookie spiders. The filling is any cream with added food coloring, and the eyes are glazed candies.

• Make the jaws.

Instructions:

1. Prepare 1 meter of thin wire. Thread one bead that matches the color of the body and place it exactly in the middle.

4. Push the wire back into the first foot and make the second foot using the same principle.

Wrap the wire with threads of the same color from which you made the body. Attach the legs to the body. Sew two beads in place of the eyes.

Foil is a handy material that is found in every home. It is inexpensive, and you only need 20 cm for a spider. This craft will decorate the interior of your home. It can be attached to a picture, tulle or curtain. So, how to make a spider out of foil?

• Cut 20 cm from a roll of food foil.
• Tear off or cut four 5 cm strips across the entire width of the foil. These are the future legs of the spider. The rest will be the torso.
• To make the paws, you need to roll each strip into a sausage.
• Then do this with each strip. Fold all the resulting legs onto the cut for the body so that future legs protrude along the edges.

Now roll the body so that it covers the legs. Crumple the foil and form spider legs.

I want to show the result of my work. The idea with the spider interested me, I was interested in trying my hand at it.

We will need:
wire, old mink hat, moment glue, stationery knife, wire cutters, I have pliers, padding polyester, cardboard, 2 beads.


We cut the wire into 4 pieces of 16 cm, 4 pieces of 12 cm, and 4 pieces of 4 cm (2 for the jaw and 2 for the connection between the back and the head). These are our paws and jaws.


We cut strips of 1 cm wide from the skin with a stationery knife, making sure that the cut goes in the direction of the growth of the pile, cutting only the skin along a ruler so as not to damage the fur.


We coat the strips with glue and glue the wire into it.

We simply bend the fur in half and glue it together, as we do with all wire blanks. The paws are ready.


We make 2 templates on cardboard (I got these dimensions) and transfer them to the fur. Do not forget that the pile lies on the back from neck to back, and on the head - from neck to mouth. I cut 2 back parts and 1 head part from fur and 1 head part from leather.

We fold the blanks with the fur inward and sew them over the edge, leaving the neck unsewn, making sure that all the fur is tucked in one direction.


Turn it through the neck. Here I have a blank head, with skin on the side of the abdomen.


Head on top.


We fill it with padding polyester not very tightly and sew it up with a hidden seam.


We fold the back parts with the fur inward, making sure that the pile is directed in one direction.


We sew it in the same way as the head, leaving a hole on the neck, turn it inside out, stuff it with padding polyester, and sew up the hole.


We connect the head and back. I inserted 2 pieces of wire into the seam, first into the back, glued it with hot glue, and then into the head and glued it too, and then stitched it together to be safe.


This is from the abdominal side. The wire was inserted so that a bend could be made between the head and the back.


We lay out the legs - long at the edges, short in the center.


We try on the body and legs, do not forget that the legs are attached to the head, the back remains free. I first sewed the paws to the leather side of the head, created a bend, and then spread the fur further and glued it with hot glue.


Sew on the bead eyes. Actually, spiders have 8 eyes, but they are small, mine has 2 large ones, because the small ones will not be visible in the lint of the mink.


And the result was such a handsome man, it took half an old mink hat. If you measure it diagonally, it measures approximately 30 cm.


And here he is perched on the windshield of a car.


Well, once again in my palm, it’s a pity to even give it away! I'll probably make the same one for myself. True, there is an idea to try using khanorik fur.
