Knitted crochet pencil case. Crochet: pencil case-handbag. How to crochet a pencil case: job description

Pregnancy

Using the Irene Strange knitting pattern in translation Anastasia Dudnik you can make a pencil case with your own hands. Younger students will love Mister Snaps, who will make learning with him much more fun. Despite his formidable appearance and powerful jaws, Mr. Snaps was known as a big good man. He holds sharp pencils tightly in his mouth so that his fish friends do not get hurt on them.

Knitted pencil case consists of several rows, the order and color of which can be done to your liking. The length of the finished toy is 34 cm. The difficulty level of knitting is medium. On our site you can also find a knitting pattern for another pencil case, this time in the form (click to go to the desired page).

This pencil case can be attributed to the economy class. We will knit it from the remnants of yarn and you can take the zipper that has already been in business. The purpose of this pencil case is to store colored pencils and felt-tip pens that the child uses in class at school. For older students, you also need to fit the phone in the pencil case, in this case, do it. It is convenient to store them in a separate pencil case, because. the child is distracted by them only when required.

So we will need the following materials:
all kinds of leftover yarn different colors and textures, but preferably of the same thickness;
lightning;
sewing threads.
Tools:
Crochet hook,
sewing needle.

A simple crochet pencil case, a step-by-step master class with a photo

We will knit three separate parts, which we will later sew together.
Side details - circles of the same size. Their size depends on how much you want to tie the pencil case. Or based on the number of pencils and felt-tip pens you already have. We knitted circles with a diameter of 5 cm. We knit as follows: we collect a chain of 3 ch. (air loops). We connect them in a ring. We tie the 8th st.b.n. (columns without crochets). Second row: from each column we knit two. Third row: from each second column we knit two, etc., until we get a circle of the diameter we need. We change the color of the threads by knitting several rows.

The main part is a rectangular canvas. The width of the canvas is the length of the pencil case. Those. it should be such that the pencils fit freely in the pencil case. We have this value - 20 cm. The height of the canvas is equal to the circumference of the side parts. We knit the fabric st.b.n., periodically trying on the side details. We also change the color of the thread periodically.

We sew a zipper, preferably with threads to match the yarn. We sewed by hand, you can do it on a typewriter. Our zipper was longer right size.

We will connect the necessary for all students (or rather, students) pencil case. We will perform it in soft blue tones with a rose. Although you can take any other yarn, as well as decorate it to your taste. However, you can store both pencil pens and your knitting supplies (the same hooks) in it. After all, the base for the pencil case is knitted quite easily. So, how to crochet a pencil case.

Pencil case (crochet)

For knitting a pencil case we need:

  • The yarn is blue, blue and green;
  • Hook;
  • Fastener (Velcro);
  • Lace;
  • beads;
  • Needle.

In order to tie a pencil case, it is necessary to choose a sufficiently thick yarn. Such a yarn will eventually hold its shape well.

First, we collect fifteen loops and one more for lifting.

And now we knit the other side in the same way. And so all our knitting will go in a circle.

When we knit a bag 25-27 centimeters high, the thread can be cut off. We already have the basis for the future pencil case. Inside we sew a Velcro fastener. Or you can use buttons or a familiar zipper - whichever is more convenient for you.

Pencil "Bunny" (crochet)
Crochet pencil "Bunny" The school season is just around the corner! Preparations are in full swing and...

Today, it really plays the role of a school pencil case. But for colored pencils, I wanted to make a special pencil case that encourages the child to be creative. And, of course, a bit reminiscent of simple children's drawings.

This is how this small pencil case was born, crocheted and then embellished with flower buttons and a snail appliqué.

To tie such a pencil case, you will need:

yarn of the same quality in two different colors - green and white or cream (we have acrylic 400 m per 100 g);

suitable size hook;

wooden or plastic buttons in the form of flowers of different colors;

dark green yarn for embroidery;

yarn and crochet hook for appliqué (if you decide to make a pencil case with it);

short one-piece zipper for fastening;

sewing threads to match light yarn;

embroidery needle (if necessary);

light jersey for lining;

tailor pins.

Small crochet pencil case: job description

Knitting a pencil case

From green yarn we knit a chain of air loops equal to the length of the finished pencil case plus the desired width of the butt. Our pencils in the set are short, so the length of the pencil case is 15 cm, and the width of the end is 2 cm. In total, we initially knit a chain with a length of 15 + 2 = 17 cm.

We knit a row of single crochets along the chain, capturing only one half of each air loop.

In the last air loop we make 3 tbsp. without a crochet.

Then we continue knitting along the second part of the chain of air loops, thus closing the first circular row.

We continue to knit with green yarn in single crochets in a circle without increases or decreases. I got 7 rows, but you can do the green part crochet pencil case and taller.

Then we change the green yarn to beige or white and continue to knit up to the desired size of the pencil case.

The height of the knitted part (both green and white) is calculated by the formula: the desired height of the pencil case plus half the width of the bottom (or end). If, as in our case, your end width is 2 cm, then we add 1 cm to the desired height of the finished pencil case.

We close the last row with a blind loop, fasten and cut the thread, and tuck the tip to the wrong side.

Decorating the front of a crochet pencil case

We embroider stems and leaves of flowers with dark green yarn. Let them be different lengths and located at different angles - so interesting. Then we sew on flower buttons, covering upper part stem.

As you can see in the photo, we left part of the pencil case without flowers - a knitted appliqué will be sewn there. We tied a snail out of our head and didn't think of drawing up a diagram. However, there are a million options for knitted applique patterns, and you can easily find the right one for you. For some, it will be a bunny, for someone a butterfly is dearer, and in our case, a knitted snail settled on the pencil case.

Lining and zipper

We measure the internal size of the pencil case: height and width. From soft knitted fabric(or any other) we cut out a rectangle whose height is twice the height of the knitted part of the pencil case, and the width is equal to the width of the pencil case. Add seam allowances around the perimeter of the rectangle.

We fold the rectangle in half and chop off so that the fabric does not move apart.

Sew the side seams by hand or machine.

We turn the lining so that the seams are inside. knitted part turn it inside out so that the inside is out. Pull the lining over knitted pencil case. It will be tight, but it's not scary. The main thing is to combine the corners of both parts of the pencil case well.

We fold the corners, as shown in the photo below, and sew both parts of the pencil case, tightening the thread well. The seam can be pre-marked with a pencil or remnant; the length of the seam is equal to the desired width of the end of the pencil case (in our case, as we remember, this is 2 cm).

So, we gave the volume to the pencil case. Here's what the corner will look like from the outside.

I sewed the zipper in twice, laying the fabric part between the knitted and knitted parts of the pencil case and sewing over the lining. Each method has its own merits and demerits. In the end, I settled on a simple sewing, when the lining was already applied.

So, lay the lining cut inside and baste it using a contrasting thread (it will be removed later).

We lay the upper corners of the pencil case inside, as shown in the photo below.

We tack the zipper, and if everything is in order (the pencil case is not skewed, and the zipper unzips and fastens well, the fabric does not go into the teeth), then we sew the entire sandwich with a neat “back to the needle” seam by hand, with a thread to match the light yarn that we used for knitting pencil case.

Coin-label on the padlock

If you have a full-fledged lightning, then the work on the pencil case can be considered finished. I had a zipper without a “dog”, so a label was contacted for which it is convenient to pull to unfasten or fasten the pencil case.

So, we knit.

1 row. 6 art. single crochet around the amigurumi ring. We tighten the ring.

2 row. According to 2 tbsp. without a crochet in each column of the previous row. Total - 12 loops.

3 row. Double every other stitch - 12+6=18 stitches.

4 row. Double every third stitch - 18+6 = 24 stitches. Close the row with a blind loop, cut the thread.

We knit a second coin, but do not cut the thread.

We combine the coins with the wrong side to each other, connect with a single crochet. At this stage, it is convenient to decorate the coins with flowers. I did it later.

20 air loops.

We continue tying two coins around the perimeter with single crochets; because we initially got hexagons, in the “corners” for expressiveness I added 3 ch each, without closing them in pico.

We decorate the label with flowers on both sides.

Crocheted pencil case is ready.
