How to crochet a beautiful pencil case. Pencil case (crochet). Decorating the front of a crocheted pencil case

Thrush

They sent the child to prepare for school - they immediately gave out a list of what they needed. Well, don't buy a pencil case when a child grows up in a handicraft family! Immediately I thought of crocheting a pencil case - quickly, easily, concisely. The design was invented in the course of work - it was necessary to combine the incongruous: so that it does not essentially become a toy and does not distract in the classroom, but at the same time the child himself liked it. The cat contacted.

To make a knitted pencil case, take:

thick yarn;

a suitable size hook;

a pair of eyes for toys;

one-piece zipper tractor suitable color;

2 pieces of felt 2x2 cm each;

black yarn for spout embroidery;

if desired - yarn of a suitable color for mustache embroidery;

jersey or cotton for lining - any color, preferably non-marking;

threads for sewing parts to match the main yarn;

a nail file or fine sandpaper;

a piece of tracing paper or baking paper.

How to crochet a pencil case: job description

Knitted pencil case base

Let's decide on the size of the pencil case. I was guided by the length of a standard notebook, and took about half the width. It turned out to be quite spacious knitted pencil case, which easily includes pencils, a sharpener and an eraser - everything your child needs in preparation for school. If necessary, felt-tip pens are added there.

I had no illusion that the pencil case would be cherished, that it would not, say, fall on the floor, etc. Therefore, I immediately took a dark purple yarn. Purple cat? Well, let.

For the base, we knit a chain of air loops length equal to the length of the notebook - or slightly less.

Then we knit a row of single crochet stitches, capturing only one side of each air loop. We unfold the knitting - and we knit a row of single crochet stitches, capturing only the second side of each air loop. So we walked in single crochet around our initial chain of stitches.

We continue to knit in a circle, without adding or subtracting, in single crochet, until the pencil case is crocheted the right size... We close the row with a blind loop, and then continue to knit an eyelet along one of the parts of the pencil case. I tied the ears on the back of the pencil case so they don't get in the way of opening the zipper.

We knit ears

My width of each ear was 9 single crochet at its base. You can make more or less - it all depends on the thickness of the yarn from which you are crocheting the pencil case, and its size. The ears should be harmonious.

I knit 9 single crochet stitches by clinging the thread to one side of the single crochet loop of the previous row. Then I unfold the knitting and knit 9 more stitches - now capturing the second half of the stitches without a crochet of the previous row. It turns out a voluminous eyelet. If desired, you can fill it a little with filler, but since my yarn itself is bulky, I didn’t do it.

The first row was knitted - in the next one was cut on the "end" parts, one loop on each side. In the same way, we continue to cut in each subsequent row until the eyelet disappears. We fix the thread, cut it off, hide the tail inside the ear. We knit the second ear in the same way.

First, the nose. We will embroider it with black yarn.

Play with the eyes, placing them wider, narrower, placing a knitted pencil case higher or lower along the canvas. Find the expression that is most attractive to you and pierce the knitted fabric with the pins - these pins I have easily passed into the holes between the posts. If your eyes are attached in a different way, attach them as the standard mount allows.

If there are irregularities from casting, treat them with a nail file or sandpaper before starting work.

I have ordinary toy eyes, for them latches with back side, and the saleswoman assures that they were, but this time they were not delivered. So much the better - I have nowhere to put on the latches, I need to fix my eyes so that they do not protrude from the inside out. To do this, we need an iron - we plug it in and leave it to heat up.

If you bought the same translucent eyes as mine, you can additionally highlight them with colored felt. I put green, black, yellow ... and stopped at the fact that I do not want to tint the eyes additionally. If you come to a different conclusion, cut out their felt circles, the diameter of which is equal to the diameter of the eye, make holes in the center of the felt and insert the pins of the eyes into them. Cut 2 pieces of any shape and size out of black felt. We also make holes in the center and put them on the pins - like this, as shown in mine. What is it for: in case something suddenly goes wrong, we will not stain the knitted fabric itself with fused plastic.

Next, we put tracing paper on the pins and carefully so that the plastic does not pierce it, we apply an iron to the pin through the tracing paper. We lift and apply it over and over again, gently and unobtrusively pressing on it. The pins will gradually melt, take the shape of a cake and stick to the tracing paper - like this.

Remove the tracing paper and leave the eyes until they cool completely. Here's what happened. At this stage, you can embroider a mustache - I decided that the pencil case looks better without them, so sporola.

Lining and fastening

In the meantime, we will deal with the lining. We cut out two rectangles from any suitable fabric, slightly smaller in size than our pencil case. We fold the parts face to face, combining the corners. Freely sweep three sides, leaving one of the long parts of the rectangle unstitched. We invest, we check. If everything is in order and the size does not need to be adjusted, and the parts have not shifted relative to each other, we lay a reliable seam.

Set the lining bag aside and insert the zipper. Swept in? Now check, zip and unfasten the clasp several times. The pile of the yarn should not get into the lock, nothing should interfere with free unbuttoning crochet pencil case.

If everything is checked correctly, and the zipper is too long, cut off the extra tail, leaving 3-4 centimeters in reserve, and sew the stopper.

Sewing in the lining, bending inward, to the zipper, cuts.

Check again how the zipper moves, whether the lining is now getting into it. Sweep if necessary. Then use a secure seam to secure the lining to the main cabinet and the fabrics of the zip.

That's all, the crocheted pencil case is ready. Simple, fast and cute - just right for little students. Enjoy your creativity!

Eva Casio specially for the site

Today it really plays the role of a school pencil case. But for colored pencils I wanted to make a special pencil case that encourages the child to be creative. And, of course, a little reminiscent of simple children's drawings.

This is how this small pencil case was born, crocheted and then decorated with flower buttons and snail applique.

To knit such a pencil case, you will need:

yarn of the same quality of two different colors- green and white or cream (we have acrylic 400 m per 100 g);

a suitable size hook;

wooden or plastic buttons in the form of flowers of different colors;

dark green embroidery yarn;

yarn and crochet hook for applique (if you decide to make a pencil case with it);

short one-piece zipper for fastening;

sewing threads to match light yarn;

embroidery needle (if necessary);

light jersey for lining;

tailor's pins.

Crochet small pencil case: job description

Knitting a pencil case

From green yarn we knit a chain of air loops equal to the length of the finished pencil case plus the desired width of the end. The pencils in the set are short, so the length of the pencil case is 15 cm, and the width of the end is 2 cm.Total, we initially knit a chain 15 + 2 = 17 cm long.

We knit a row of single crochets along the chain, capturing only one half of each air loop.

In the last air loop we make 3 tbsp. without a crochet.

Then we continue knitting along the second part of the chain of air loops, thus closing the first circular row.

We continue to knit with green yarn with single crochet in a circle without increases or decreases. I ended up with 7 rows, but you can make the green part of the crocheted pencil case and higher.

Then we change the green yarn to beige or white and continue to knit up to the desired size of the pencil case.

The height of the knitted part (both green and white) is calculated by the formula: the desired height of the pencil case plus half the width of the bottom (or end). If, as in our case, your end width is 2 cm, then we add 1 cm to the desired height of the finished pencil case.

We close the last row with a blind loop, fasten the thread and cut it off, and tuck the tip to the wrong side.

Decorating the front of a crocheted pencil case

We embroider stems and leaves of flowers with dark green yarn. Let them be different lengths and are located at different angles - that's more interesting. Then we sew on the flower buttons, covering upper part stem.

As you can see in the photo, we left part of the pencil case without flowers - a knitted applique will be sewn there. We tied a snail from the head and did not guess to draw up a diagram. However, there are a million options for knitted applique patterns, and you can easily find the one that suits you. For some, it will be a bunny, for some, a butterfly is nicer, but in our case a knitted snail has settled on a pencil case.

Lining and zipper

We measure the inner size of the pencil case: height and width. From soft knitted fabric(or any other) we cut out a rectangle whose height is twice the height of the knitted part of the pencil case, and the width is equal to the width of the pencil case. Along the perimeter of the rectangle, add seam allowances.

Fold the rectangle in half and pin it off so that the fabric does not part.

Sew the side seams manually or on a typewriter.

Turn the lining out so that the seams are inside. Knitted part we also turn it out so that the wrong side is outside. We pull the lining over the knitted pencil case. It will be cramped, but it's not scary. The main thing is to combine the corners of both parts of the pencil case well.

We fold the corners, as shown in the photo below, and sew both parts of the pencil case, tightening the thread well. The seam can be marked in advance with a pencil or remnant; the length of the seam is equal to the desired width of the end of the pencil case (in our case, as we remember, this is 2 cm).

So, we have added volume to the pencil case. This is what the corner will look like from the outside.

I sewed in the zipper twice, inserting the fabric section between the knit and knit sections of the pencil case and stitching over the lining. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. In the end, I settled on simple sewing when the lining was already swept in.

So, we put a cut of the lining inside and mark it using a contrasting thread (in the future it will be removed).

We lay the upper corners of the pencil case inward, as shown in the photo below.

We mark the zipper, and if everything is in order (the pencil case is not skewed, and the zipper opens and fastens well, the fabric does not go into the teeth), then we sew the entire sandwich with a neat seam "back the needle" by hand, with a thread to match the light yarn that we used for knitting pencil case.

Tab coin with clasp

If you have a full-fledged zipper, then the work on the pencil case can be considered complete. I had a zipper without a "doggie", so I contacted such a shortcut, for which it is convenient to pull in order to unfasten or fasten the pencil case.

So, we knit.

1 row. 6 tbsp. without a crochet around the amigurumi ring. We tighten the ring.

2 row. 2 tbsp. without crochet in each column of the previous row. Total - 12 loops.

3 row. Doubling every second loop - 12 + 6 = 18 loops.

4 row. Double every third loop - 18 + 6 = 24 loops. Close the row with a blind loop, cut the thread.

We knit the second coin, but do not cut the thread.

We combine the coins with the wrong side to each other, we connect them with a single crochet. At this stage, it is convenient to decorate the coins with flowers. I did it later.

20 air loops.

We continue tying two coins around the perimeter with single crochet; since we initially got hexagons, in the "corners" for expressiveness I added 3 vp each, without closing them in pico.

We decorate the tag with flowers on both sides.

The crocheted pencil case is ready.

- yarn (wool-50%, acrylic-50% 150-200m / 100gr)

- hook number 3

- zipper lock 20 cm long

beads, sequins, beads

Knitting pattern:

Knitting description:

Crochet a chain of 33 chain stitches and 1 chain stitch for lifting. Next, knit all rows in single crochet. Knit until the height of the fabric is 20cm. In our case, we got 34 rows. Break the thread.

Now you need to knit the side in the form of a circle (diagram). To do this, you need to dial 3 air loops and close them in a ring. Knit 6 single crochet into the ring. 1st row: knit 2 single crochet in each loop of the previous row. You get 12 single crochet. 2nd row: knit 2 single crochets in every second loop (18 single crochets). Then continue evenly for 6 increments in a row. And so knit until the diameter of the circle becomes 7cm. In our case, it turned out 6 rows.

Tie the second circle in the same way.

Assembly: It is necessary to connect the sides to the base with one row of single crochet posts.

Then sew on the zipper lock. And now our pencil case is ready!

Decoration: Optionally, the zipper can be decorated with a knitted keychain. Knit keychain according to the scheme.

And also, the pencil case can be decorated with embroidery or applique.

This pencil case can be classified as economy class. We will knit it from the remnants of yarn and a zipper can be taken that has already been in business. The purpose of this pencil case is to store crayons and felt-tip pens that the child uses in class at school. For older students, you also need to fit a phone into a pencil case, in this case, do it. It is convenient to store them in a separate pencil case, because the child is distracted by them only when required.

So we need the following materials:
all kinds of yarn residues of different colors and textures, but preferably of the same thickness;
lightning;
sewing thread.
Tools:
Crochet hook,
sewing needle.

A simple pencil case-cylinder crochet, a step-by-step master class with a photo

We will connect three separate parts, which we will subsequently sew together.
The side pieces are circles of the same size. Their size depends on how much you want to tie the pencil case. Or based on the number of pencils and markers you already have. We knitted circles with a diameter of 5 cm. We knit as follows: we collect a chain of 3 vp. (air loops). We connect them in a ring. We tie the 8th st.b.n. (in single crochet columns). Second row: knit two from each column. Third row: from every second column we knit two, etc., until we get the circle of the diameter we need. Change the color of the threads by knitting several rows.

The main part is a rectangular canvas. The width of the canvas is the length of the pencil case. Those. it should be such that the pencils fit freely in the pencil case. We have this value - 20 cm. The height of the blade is equal to the circumference of the side parts. We knit the fabric st.b.n., periodically trying on to the side details. We also change the color of the thread periodically.

Sew on the zipper, preferably with threads to match the yarn. We sewed it by hand, you can do it on a typewriter. Our zipper was longer than the required size.

A bright "organizer" for the smallest students! Kids will be happy to use such an accessory, because it is much more interesting to store colored pencils in a multi-colored pencil case.

Before you start knitting such a pencil case, carefully consider your child's colored pencils. Without a visual example at hand, it is difficult to immediately distribute color blocks or choose the right shades.
In general, take the required number of balls of the desired colors (12, 24, 36, etc.), plus white, black balls for knitting the outer warp and finishing it. The hook should also be taken of a suitable size (usually this indicator is equal to the thickness of the thread), but you should still avoid massive and rough materials, because a large structure will not look very attractive.
Photo 2.

The height of the colored blocks is determined by the height of the pencil. Therefore, type an arbitrary number of air loops and after the first fitting, leave the chain of the required size (preferably 1-1.5 cm shorter than the pencil itself).

Knit it with a single crochet (st./b.n) along the entire length in straight rows. Each block has from 8 to 10 such rows.

You can combine colors as you like, depending on personal tastes, as well as the preferences of the child himself. But still the most the best option there will be an even alternation of cold and warm tones.

Then tie the ready-made striped rectangle st./b. n with white yarn around the entire perimeter, highlighting and thereby aligning all its sides.

And now our colored part is completely ready.

You should also start the white back wall by creating a chain and trying on. This rectangle should be slightly larger than the previous one, and its sides should protrude a few millimeters from the edges of the colored workpiece.

two such details, frankly, the work is not fast, but which of the easy, understandable and simple - that's for sure.
Finally, and the white rectangle, also make a contrasting frame with black yarn.

Now sew the two sides of the case along the sides and bottom, leaving the top completely free.

The last step is to separate the narrow colored cells. To do this, place the thread at work (more precisely, at the bottom of the pencil case) and pull the loops alternately, threading each of them into the previous one, until a chain is formed along the entire cell (up to the upper white border).

Thus, you not only connect the walls of the product, but also highlight each "pencil" with the already familiar white frame.

For home use the canvas with pockets can already be hung in this form over the table. So the child will always see the pencils, know where they are (that is, never rub) and get used to keeping them in one place (another plus - he will not scatter them all over the room). But for transfer, it is better to sew on a narrow ribbon in order to tightly tie the twisted tube and not lose your pencils. It will be convenient for a young schoolboy to carry such a pencil case in a portfolio.
