"Without us, the army is not an army": fragile girls dream of serving in the Navy in the North and Kamchatka. Naval Academy: admission and programs Girls in military uniform navy

Breast cancer

That heroic time gave birth to heroes, or rather real heroines ... They were different, but they were all united by the fleet. From ship captains to marines and divers, there was room for women everywhere. They proved their right to be there and that a woman in the navy can do anything!

And also, looking at these photos, I remembered the words of the classic: "Yes, there were people in our time ..." There were !!!

"Valentina Yakovlevna Orlikova (11/19/1915 - 01/31/1986) - the first female captain of a large sea fishing trawler (BMRT), the only female captain of a whaling vessel (" Storm "), a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, the first woman in the country's fishing industry, awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
.....................
In 1941 she graduated from the navigational faculty of the Leningrad Institute of Water Transport Engineers. When World War II began, she worked as a navigator on ships of the navy. She took part in the evacuation of the wounded from Tallinn in August 1941. From August 1942 to October 1944 he was the 4th navigator, and then the third mate of the captain on the motor ship "Dvina". Dvina transported Soviet raw materials to the United States in exchange for American products supplied under Lend-Lease.
.....................
During the first interview, she was asked this question:

How do you, a little woman, manage to command men?

She very sensibly explained what her responsibilities were. She gave an example of how she had to maneuver during the first attack of a fascist submarine in her life, how she looked at an approaching torpedo, how she took the ship away from her.

I didn't feel fear, - said Valentina, - there was a huge tension. She closed her eyes. I counted to fifteen. Carried away. And her subordinates listen to her because they understand: the fate of the steamer and all the people on it depends on how clearly the orders are followed.

At the end of an hour and a half interview, during which Valentina brilliantly answered all the questions, one of the correspondents trumped:

Now it dawned on me why the sailors obey all your commands.

Orlikova's husband sailed as second mate on another ship. Fate brought them together very rarely. During the war, her steamer came to the United States three times, and each time the correspondents tried to talk with a brave woman. "

“The boatswain explained to me that this was our captain Valentina Yakovlevna Orlikova. There were already rumors about a woman - captain who appeared in the trawl fleet relatively recently. , muzhikovataya, giving in a loud voice commands, strewn with choice obscenities.

Valentina Yakovlevna was below average height, a fragile, graceful, pretty woman with small, very regular features, large expressive eyes, and a short haircut. Intelligent, smart, ironic. In relations with the crew, she is attentive, simple, benevolent, calm, never raised her voice or used strong expressions, but, if necessary, showed extraordinary firmness of character in actions and independent decisions.

Her diminutive appearance was more suitable for the hostess of an aristocratic salon of a bygone era or, finally, an art critic in the decorous silence of museum halls, but by no means for driving an ocean-going trawler in the stormy Atlantic with a crew of ninety people.

In the harsh years of the war, V.Ya. Orlikova went in convoys on transports, after the war she commanded whalers in the Far East, then worked in Moscow, at the Ministry of Fisheries, and with the arrival of the BMRT from the new building in Murmansk, she again returned to the captain's bridge. She relatively quickly mastered the field work, the voyage tasks were overfulfilled every hour, hence the stability of earnings and the constancy of the crew.

They worked off the coast of Canada, in the Newfoundland area. It is a very unfavorable area, storms are replaced by fogs, ice, carried out from the shores of Greenland, complicates the work. Large crowding of ships, hence the danger of collision, forcing the captain not to leave the bridge for days. Early in the morning a small Icelandic trawler "Iceberg" approached us. On board they asked for help.

"What kind of help do you need?" Orlikova asked in English. "I need Mr. Captain" - was the answer. "I am listening to you" - answered Valentina Yakovlevna. The captain of the "Iceberg" and his entire crew looked in amazement at the little woman in a black fur coat and hat - the captain of a huge ocean trawler ... "

The crew of the minesweeper TSH-611

"Seven Brave", as the crew of the TSC-611 was nicknamed by the Stalingraders. In the history of the navy, the only case is known when the entire crew of a warship - from sailor to commander - consisted of women. In 1942, minesweeper No. 611 operated successfully on the Volga, near Stalingrad. A large-caliber machine gun, depth-charge deflectors were installed on its deck, and the naval flag was raised on the mast. Antonina Kupriyanova was appointed commander of the ship, Dusya Parkhacheva was the squad leader, Tamara Dekalina was the helmsman, Vera Frolova was a sailor, Anna Tarasova was a miner, Vera Chapava was a machine gunner, and Agniya Shabalina was a minder. “Seven Brave” - this is how the girl's crew of the minesweeper ТShch-611 was soon named. This minesweeper is now in an eternal stop in the city of Kamyshin.

O. Tonina.

Remembers Yu.A. Panteleev Commander of the Volga Flotilla in 1943:

“Soon after the death of the minesweeper, a Komsomol sergeant of the 2nd article, Kupriyanov, came to me and began persistently asking me to provide her with a minesweeper and allow him to staff his team only with girls.

- Aren't you afraid?

The girl was even offended.

I said that I would think about it, but, to be honest, I did not dare for a long time. Experts began to persuade me, they say, Kupriyanova picked up a good crew and the girls will cope with their task. Reluctantly, I agreed, singled out the old boat. The girls repaired it on their own, installed trawls and reported on their readiness to carry out military service. Before the first exit, I myself meticulously examined the ship, checked the knowledge of the crew. The impression was the best, and I gave the go-ahead. Soon we received a report: Kupriyanova's crew blew up a mine. Then the second, the third ... By the end of the campaign, the entire crew was awarded government awards and received large monetary awards. "

The Navy also needs girls!

Elizaveta Mironova, sniper of the 255th Marine Brigade. Novorossiysk. 1943

"Evdokia Nikolaevna Zavaliy is the only woman in World War II who commanded a marine corps platoon. Here is just a small fragment from her memoirs:

Black jackets have always terrified them [the Germans]. Suddenness, audacity and fearlessness. The heads of my guys were desperate. But when the Fritzes found out that there was a woman among them, at first they could not believe it, and then they began to hunt for me. As for respect, I don’t know, but I’ll tell you one more case. It was the most daring and most difficult operation that my special platoon was entrusted with.

In February 1945, there were fierce battles for Budapest. For four days, the Marines fought their way to the fortress, where the Nazi nest was located - the headquarters of the fascist executioner Horthy. All approaches to the castle were mined and equipped with many firing points. The command of the 83rd brigade set the task: to get inside the fortress by all means. Examining all the nooks and crannies, the sailors noticed a sewer hatch, went down into it and found an underground passage. The scouts reported that it was possible to go through the dungeon, but it was difficult to breathe there - there was a heavy stench, from which the head was spinning. The company commander, Kuzmichev, recalled that among the trophies we captured there were oxygen pillows. They figured out that it was necessary to go to the fourth well, and decided to take the risk. My platoon went ahead of the company - one pillow for two, you take a saving breath and give it to your neighbor. The collector turned out to be narrower than expected, they walked bent over, their feet bogged down in a fetid liquid. At the second well, a crash and clang were heard. The lid was carefully pushed aside and immediately closed - at the top, the entire street is crowded with tanks and armored vehicles. Lord, I thought, what awaits us at the fourth well? After all, this stinking dungeon can become our mass grave, just throw a couple of grenades! At the fourth well she stopped a platoon. My heart was pounding, but it was quiet up there. That means they calculated correctly.

Leaving the well, the soldiers scattered in a rare chain along the gray wall of the castle, and laid the sentry in a line. The sudden appearance of "black commissars" plunged the enemy into confusion, these seconds were enough for us to break into the building, while the machine gun was fired. The company and other units arrived in time - they took floor by floor and soon completely cleared the castle and the adjacent quarters of the Nazis. Among the prisoners was a German general. He looked at us like ghosts, unable to understand by what miracle we were in the rear of his troops.

When he was told that they had gone underground, he did not believe it until he saw the scouts who had not had time to wash off the dirt and sewage. When I heard that the platoon commander was a girl, he again did not believe and was offended: "You could not think of the worst bullying ?!"

They called me. I came to the headquarters, dirty as the devil, it smells from me a kilometer away. Major Kruglov, pinching his nose with a handkerchief, turns to me: "Report how you captured the German general!" And suddenly a German hands me a pistol of the "Walter" system - it’s bad, you see, the guys searched him. “Frau rusish the black commissar! Gut! Gut! " I goggled at the political department, they nod - take it. Then the guys made a personalized inscription on this pistol ... "

A revolutionary event for the Russian Navy: for the first time in more than three hundred years of its existence, women are given equal rights with men. The Baltic and the Far East became the testing ground for the experiment. In the Far East, 18 cadets were admitted to the Admiral Makarov Pacific Naval Institute. In the Baltic, 27 girls joined the ranks of the Nakhimov Naval School.

At the formation on the parade ground in honor of the first bell, they all looked decisive, and some - very strict (in the new naval uniform of the ladies' model, from which even hints of coquetry were emasculated). A dark skirt below the knee, black low-heeled shoes, a white beret, under which the hair is carefully tied. No braids, bows and mini-skirts, which, for example, cadets of police schools like to flaunt.

They address the “new recruits” as equals, like a man: “Nakhimov's so-and-so”. True, they were not allowed to ring the bell - the ship's bell, announcing the beginning of the new school year. This honor, according to tradition, went to the youngest of the new entrants - the 11-year-old boy Gleb.

There were, of course, crowds of happy relatives around the girls. We talked with one of the mothers, history teacher Irina Ilyushina.

“Our girl was born on the shore of the Bering Strait, in Chukotka,” Irina Vasilievna proudly announced. - It was under minus forty then! Where my husband and I did not serve! In Kamchatka, in the Primorsky Territory, on Dikson in the Arctic, in Kazakhstan. Graduated from service in the Leningrad Military District. Were in the Pacific Fleet, and in different types of troops.

Now Irina Ilyushina teaches at a school in the village of Vaganovo, near Vsevolozhsk. There she also runs the school museum of military glory of the Red Banner Ladoga Flotilla and the North-Western River Shipping Company.

“And Victoria is ours,” Irina Ilyushina continued enthusiastically, “for seven years she was an activist in the museum. Our girl is very energetic. She was also the vice speaker of the high school parliament. At regional competitions, her research articles on the history of the fleet took first and second places. Her entire school biography is associated with sailors - veterans of the Ladoga Flotilla. She also was engaged in cleaning fraternal military graves on Ladoga. Her destiny is the fleet and the sea!

“Here are all girls from military families,” explained Elena Chernyak, a representative of the parent committee and mother of a Nakhimov resident Yulia Chernyak. “They're from a wide variety of cities and fleets. My husband, for example, served in the Northern Fleet. And our girl is engaged in sports orienteering, she graduated from four classes of a music school on the piano. In our family, everything is marine. And the eldest son graduated from Nakhimov, and now a naval university.

The mothers shared that they are not at all afraid of giving their daughters to the barracks position:

- Living conditions are very good. There are new beds in the cockpit, beautiful dressers, sliding wardrobes, mirrors. They have six meals a day. They will live in isolation from the boys, and study together. They will take a secondary school course, master the basics of maritime training, with which they will then go to a naval university, even a civilian one.

The head of the school, captain of the first rank, Nikolai Andreev, was also in high spirits:

- We received over 150 people. All are wonderful! And we immediately praise the girls even for making such an interesting choice for themselves. And the living conditions have created them worthy, many do not have such a home.

- Nikolai Nikolaevich, how did the story with the boys end?

Let us remind that the holiday in Nakhimovskoye, alas, is overshadowed by the fact that about ten Nakhimov boys were left “overboard”. By a sudden decision of the Minister of Defense, all those who entered the 6th grade were transferred to ... the Suvorov School. Overland.

- I am not authorized to comment, - said Nikolai Nikolaevich.

He said exactly the same thing two weeks ago, when a rather heartless order from the Minister of Defense came out. Those boys were also active and dreamed of the sea. But the ministers do not know how to back up.

Photographer Vivian Coylards was born and raised in the Netherlands. In 1995 she received her master's degree in communications from the University of Nijmegen, and in 2009 she successfully graduated from the Academy of Photography in Amsterdam. Vivian says that all of her work is about people. She likes to meet people, preferably in new places for her: she is fascinated by their self-awareness, their external image, their views on life or death.

A photo project entitled "Behind Her Uniforms" is dedicated to girls who serve in the Dutch Navy.

“Uniform people always stand out from the crowd and make an impression, but we tend to forget about the human essence that hides behind the uniform.

The first time I encountered such a feeling was when my young neighbor grew into a completely independent woman and joined the ranks of the Navy. Now she has an officer's rank, and if I see her in uniform, I cannot believe that she is the same person as the cheerful little girl I have known since childhood. Sounds silly, I agree, since she is still a very bright and lively girl. It's just that the form influences my perception so much.

This idea intrigued me, and I decided to make several portraits of girls serving in the Dutch Navy in two different situations: first in uniform next to their barracks, and then in civilian clothes at their home, ”said Vivian.

Trousers

In 2014, the plans were to introduce a woolen hat to replace a hat with earflaps for outdoor work. Also in 2014, other developments of the new form were carried out, but some innovations did not take root.

Also, the kit of everyday form includes beret .

Available in a set of hats and garrison cap... On the sides of the headgear there are three blocks, holes for "ventilation". On the front side garrison caps located golden cockade depicting an anchor. In the shape of Navy sample of the times of the USSR garrison cap was intended to be worn by the personnel of the crew of submarine ships. It had a black color and differed in type, both for the composition of privates and for the composition of officers. Relatively recently, it began to be designed to wear the entire composition Navy... The semicircular style was replaced by a rectangular one. Also garrison cap received white edging, which were previously intended only for the heads of a midshipman and an officer, as well as a cockade instead of a star.

Shoes

The above suit comes with boots, made of yuft, with thick soles, also referred to in naval jargon as burnouts or reptiles. Not so long ago boots sewn with laces, but now, in 2015, they also have rubber inserts (they were introduced in 2014). For senior citizens, it is preferable to wear a full dress shoesboots made of leather tanned in chrome salts, in other words, chrome boots... In areas with a harsh climate, military personnel wear barnyard boots... The tropical form provides for the wearing of sandals.

Also in a complete set of everyday uniforms there is vest striped, gloves and hat with ear flaps .

The everyday uniform of officers and warrant officers

Military everyday uniform, designed for officers and midshipmen, includes: a black or white woolen cap, a jacket made of the same material, black coat, cream shirt, black the same tie with gold-colored setting, comforter, black trousers, waist belt , gloves and ankle boots , low shoes or boots as a shoe. It is also allowed to include a black cap, woolen pullover the same color, a mid-season jacket or cloak and tunic made of blue wool.

Casual female uniform

It is a set of garrison caps sewn from black wool, black woolen skirts, a cream blouse, a traditional gold-tacked tie and waist belt, black shoes (or boots), and nude tights. Also included is a jacket.

Winter casual uniform involves wearing an astrakhan black beret, coat made of wool, skirts, blouse, belt, tie and tights from the above summer set, black muffler and gloves. Shoes serve boots or boots... The jacket is also present in the winter version of the form. Allowed to carry sweaters, demi-season raincoat, garrison caps and hats with earflaps.

It's worth noting that some of the elements that exist in the form bundle now were introduced in 2014.

Now that we've looked at everyday naval attire, let's move on to other different types of naval uniforms. There are several types of them, including such as:

  • Front.
  • Office.
  • Dembelskaya.

Also, since the days of the USSR, there has been a division into winter and summer forms.

Dress uniform for officers and warrant officers

There are several types of dress uniforms designed for different weather / climatic conditions. The headdress in the set of the ceremonial sample is white / black cap (summer either winter / wool) or hat with ear flaps, sewn from black fur (colonels, senior officers and captains of the first rank wear an astrakhan hat with a visor).

An obligatory element of any type of dress uniform of an officer and midshipman is black tie, with a golden setting. Also included is a woolen jacket: black (front) or white ( summer). Black woolen trousers, white shirt and a golden belt is the basis of any dress uniform.

Women's dress uniform

Such a set in its composition almost completely repeats the everyday one, except that the jacket is ceremonial, the belt is also ceremonial, golden, and in the winter version it has white muffler.

Dembel Form

The Dembel Marine Uniform is a very special form for an employee. This is not a simple set of clothes - it is a manifestation of the soldier's imagination and pride. Such a kit is issued at the request of the employee. The tradition of making a uniform specifically for transfer to the reserve came to us from the USSR.

The Dembel form can also be divided into several types:

  • Strict.
  • Decorated.

The decorated demobilization uniform, in turn, can be unofficially divided into:

  • Moderately decorated.
  • Medium decorated.
  • Richly decorated.

Accordingly, it makes sense to consider in more detail the strict (statutory) demobilization form, in view of the liberty of drawing up a set of decorated uniforms. It, most often, consists of a sewn-in tunic with sewn on emblems of the patrimonial troops, gold buttons, aiguillette, pinned awards and badges, and traditional shoes, a belt and caps(beret).

The main changes took place in 1917, in connection with the revolutionary events. In the period 1922-1991 during the existence of the Soviet fleet. At the time of creation

Shoulder straps and ranks in the Russian army were created in order to clearly delineate responsibilities between the military. The higher the status, the more responsibility is assigned to the soldier who has been awarded the title. Shoulder straps play an identifying role, that is, they create a visual representation of a military man, namely what position he occupies, as well as his military rank. Shoulder straps and ranks in the army play a very important role, and for different troops they have different external

Each branch and type of troops has its own attributes. In addition to the battle banner and chevrons, shoulder straps are included in the concept of decals. It is for this accessory that one can determine not only the rank of a serviceman, but also his affiliation with one or another army. However, it is very difficult for an unprepared person to do this. Today we will try to understand the colors and lettering on the shoulder straps of servicemen and cadets of the Russian army, as well as law enforcement agencies. Shoulder straps

As with any structure, there is a certain hierarchy in the Russian army. In this case, the pyramid represents military positions and the corresponding army ranks. At the same time, shoulder straps are provided as distinctive signs on the uniform of military personnel. Today we'll talk about what military ranks are present in the Russian army, what are their main differences, how the stars are located on the shoulder straps and how many years to serve until the colonel. Types, rank classification

Regardless of the number of draft dodgers, which is annually recorded after the completion of draft campaigns, at all times there were enough of those guys who would like to devote their lives to the army craft. There are usually two career trends here. The first is to remain in the army under a contract after military service. However, under such a set of circumstances, one cannot count on an officer's rank. The alternative is to enter a higher military educational institution.

Black berets, black death The nicknames of these fighters look rather gloomy and really unfriendly, when meeting with such soldiers, the enemy will immediately lose any thoughts of easy money. The Russian Marines today are talking about these brave and courageous warriors. Let's take a look at history, find out what it is like to be a Marine and what an honor it is, and also touch on modern military events. History of creation The RF Marine Corps traces its history for more than three

The military rank in the modern army is a complex hierarchical relationship between military personnel, enshrined in law and military regulations. A certain rank should be awarded to absolutely any serviceman, regardless of his education, type of activity or length of service. Even a young man who was drafted into the ranks of the RF Armed Forces is listed as a private. This gradation makes it possible to distribute the rights and responsibilities of the entire contingent to ensure manageability in the event of real

The modern Russian army has a complex hierarchical structure based on the subordination of the lower levels to the higher. Unconditional subordination within the military regulations is defined by law, and violation of the order is punishable by a military court. In order to effectively carry out management activities, the hierarchical system is implemented by assigning each serviceman a certain military rank. Already at the very beginning of the conscript service, the young man receives the rank of private. Highest rank other than Supreme

In the course of their activities, servicemen have the opportunity to show heroism, professional knowledge, valor and courage. The experience and skills of those who have devoted a huge part of their lives to military service are especially appreciated. Various medals are instituted by the Ministry of Defense or public organizations as a sign of gratitude and respect. On Defender of the Fatherland Day, on the recommendation of the command of the unit, an active or former soldier can receive a medal as a reward for a veteran of the RF Armed Forces.

In 2002, the Association of the Union of Paratroopers was born in Russia. It unites in itself not only the military personnel of the Airborne Forces, it is, most likely, the partnership and brotherhood of those who valiantly defended the interests of the Motherland on its territory and beyond. We can say that veterans of the elite Airborne Forces, marines, special forces and constitute the backbone of the organization represented. They consider the purpose of their activities to help in the protection of the rights of a serviceman, especially those who were wounded during

The Russian marines have existed for over 300 years. For the first time, such references to such units date back to the Great Northern War in 1705. Until 1917, they were called naval soldiers. To this day, it is still an important part of the army, with its own decals and anthem. A bit of history The first division of the Navy was designed to deliver quick strikes from the sea during the war with Sweden. It was originally a relatively small unit,

Many people who are ignorant of military affairs may wonder what kind of troops there are in the Russian army. The answer here is very simple Russian units include elite troops, ground forces, navy, aviation. Each part has its own function. For large subdivisions of the fleet, aviation, ground forces, there are support departments such as air defense, artillery. Many parts are intertwined. The regiments began to take on a modern look after the collapse of the Russian Empire.

The military uniform of the armed forces of the Russian Federation has always been distinguished by some features. They are subdivided according to color and purpose. The military uniform can be designed for daily use, for field activities and for holidays. All these types of clothing are still subdivided into summer and winter options. The Ministry of Defense has carefully worked out this issue, detailing orders on this aspect of the life of military personnel. The case touched

The relationship in the army must be strictly regulated. This requirement arises from at least two reasons. The first is that the personnel is a quasigroup, organized according to some common characteristics. Psychologists say that if such a group is left to itself, then conflicts in the relationship will surely arise soon. The second statement is more weighty. The army should be not only numerous, but also functional and manageable.

For any state, the armed forces are the guarantor of its security and the inviolability of its territorial borders. In Russia, the army organizes its activities on the basis of certain regulatory documents, these are Federal laws, Government decrees, Presidential decrees, as well as local decrees of executive authorities in the regions. Thanks to a unified legal system, it is possible to effectively manage a multi-thousand contingent, distributing common tasks and quickly resolving security issues.

Until the soldier has retired to the reserve and remains on the list of the unit's personnel, he is guided by the general military regulations. Certain standards for a soldier have been developed in the event of his temporary stay outside the unit. But, as you know, the lack of control necessarily leads to a violation of all the rules, and the volume of these violations is growing like an avalanche. Therefore, in any garrison, the organization of patrolling, which is conducted in places

Many articles, even from legal experts, are devoted to various ways to avoid military service. It is gratifying that the proportion of conscripts who are ready to cross the line of the law is quite small. Most of the guys not only realize the need to fulfill their civic duty, but also consider it their duty to spend a year in the army as a real soldier, who would be an excellent student of combat training, selflessly serve the Motherland, was in good standing with the officers and became the pride of their

To achieve maximum efficiency in the military activities of the army, it is necessary to develop a set of rules that would cover all areas, allowing each soldier to determine his rights and powers in each specific situation. They came to this understanding even during the reign of Peter I, it is not for nothing that he is considered the founder of the introduction of military regulations. Although, in fairness, it should be noted that the history of military regulations in tsarist Russia goes back to the 16th century, when the Boyarsky verdict was adopted by order of Ivan the Terrible

Many elements of the uniform of the marines, approved in the modern Russian army, migrated from the times of the USSR, but even in those distant times, not everything was so simple. Over the entire period of its existence, the Marine Corps has dressed in different clothes, so it is convenient to follow the transformation of the form in parallel with the history of the troops. As a separate and independent branch of the military, the USSR Marine Corps was created according to the order of the commander of the Navy in 1940. Moreover, initially

Many recruits want to go through the school of life, realizing that this is simply necessary. Recently, the popularity of the military craft has increased significantly. Reforms in the army had a significant impact on the comfort of service. Despite this, in almost all parts of the country they honor the customs and traditions inherited from the older generations. This is especially true for the completion of the service. Graduation from any school is associated with certain experiences, and graduation from the school of life is the moment to which the guy

For military service at all times there was a certain set of laws aimed at increasing efficiency in the conduct of hostilities, on guard duty, as well as order in interpersonal relationships. This code of laws is combined into a charter, which for the soldier is the main legislative document. But since all the issues of the army service cannot be concentrated in a common document, there is a division of the charters by type. In particular, in the modern army, two of them are defined

The army, to one degree or another, concerns every citizen, therefore, willy-nilly, people are aware of it. But the army is too generalized and abstract concept, which includes tanks and footcloths, nuclear weapons and stars on the shoulder straps, and much more. For the purpose of ordering troops by type, establishing a certain hierarchy and dividing the territory of the state into controlled areas, there is a special term for the organizational structure of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. With his help, we today

There can be no regimes in matters of state security. Sovereignty and inviolability must remain at the highest level every minute all year round. To ensure reliable protection, the state is obliged to maintain an active powerful army, ready at any time to repel an attack from an external enemy. Military activity is a complex process that does not stop day or night. Even when the personnel, it would seem, are resting, there are duty officers, sentries, patrolmen at the combat post,

The army is perhaps the most numerous institution that is considered to be regularly functioning. If we add to the contingent currently in service all those liable for military service, including those in the reserve, then more than half of all Russian citizens will be covered. Naturally, such a size of the armed forces will be achieved only as a last resort, when military aggression from another state is inevitable, but even with the available military personnel, of whom there are hundreds of thousands, it is necessary to centrally

In Russian legislation, a number of documents establish the need to provide for military personnel. In general, this concept is quite extensible, since it is necessary to take into account all the rights of a citizen who is in military service in order to list all the components of the allowance. Therefore, the provision is divided into several categories, monetary allowance, clothing provision, medical care, food housing provision. For each category

In 2014, the military equipment of the Russian army soldier was replenished with a new accessory. An item with a complex foreign name, the travel bag, was included in the army standard along with new equipment. From reticule to travel bag, travel bag in French means necessary. So in the West they call a small travel case that has several compartments for placing toilet items in them. The thing is very convenient and necessary, especially in field conditions. Story

Considering all the stages of the creation of the armed forces of Russia, it is necessary to deeply immerse oneself in history, and although during the times of the principalities there is no talk of the Russian empire, and even more so of a regular army, the emergence of such a concept as defense capability begins precisely from this era. In the XIII century, Russia was represented by separate principalities. Although their military squads were armed with swords, axes, spears, sabers and bows, they could not serve as reliable protection from outside encroachments. Unified army

In June 2017, the media received information about replacing the old emblem of the Russian Armed Forces of the red star with a new red-blue-white star. The news alarmed many public figures, prompting them to react violently to it. A fresh symbol was released by a subordinate design bureau, which dubbed it the Army of Russia. According to the creators, the new star will enhance the image of the national army and give it more masculinity. The origins of the symbol of the Russian army

Military clothing is a guarantee of high combat capability of military forces. In Russia, the military uniform meets all the necessary requirements; it is comfortable, reliable and performs its main functions. A new military uniform in our country was released in 2015. Now every soldier of the military forces is equipped with it. Together with the new clothes, new rules for wearing it were released, which must be observed by soldiers of any rank. The military uniform is divided into three main types.

Military uniforms, field, everyday and ceremonial uniforms are always regulated by the relevant decrees of the Ministry of Defense. However, there are special forces formations in the power departments of ministries and departments that do not belong to the Russian Armed Forces, which perform specific tasks, for which they use a very wide range of military and universal uniforms. Traditional disclaimer. This article does not in any way claim to be complete and ultimate truth. The topic of Russian equipment in the nineties is huge and complex, and my humble work is just a superficial educational program, an introduction to the topic. The USSR approached its collapse with very primitive equipment that looked wretched even against the background of the then unpretentious equipment of NATO armies. However, in the nineties, despite the severe economic crisis and lack of money, progress in the field of military equipment,

The unloading vest, of course, is far from the only type of combat equipment, but today there is such a situation that a fighter, purchasing equipment, chooses either a combat bib or an unloading vest. In addition to Russia, where the RZh unloading vest is included in the standard equipment of an infantryman, vests are used in many armies of the world. In unloading, Turkish mountain riflemen, gendarmerie and rangers are working against the Kurds. With a large selection of different

The patches of the Marine Corps and other units are subject to strict regulations.

It has a fairly long history. Over the decades, it has undergone many changes. In this article, we will look at a brief history of the form, its various options and principles of wearing.

The history of naval dress

The history of the form of the Navy dates back to the time of Peter the Great. By order of the mighty manager-emperor, in 1696 the Boyar Duma decided to create the first navy in the Russian state. October 30 is traditionally considered the foundation day of the Russian fleet.

With its creation, Peter I introduced a uniform for the sailor and lower ranks, created from items of marine clothing of Dutch naval employees, namely, a gray or green jacket made of coarse wool, short green pants, stockings and a hat with wide brims. Leather shoes served as footwear for the navy. This set was also replaced by a daily work suit. It included a loose shirt, canvas pants, a cocked hat, and a camisole. It was worn by sailors during Ushakov's Mediterranean campaign.

A work robe, which included a set of gray canvas trousers and a shirt, was worn for any ship work; a uniform white shirt with an azure collar was worn over it. Such a suit was approved as a uniform for private personnel in the summer of 1874.

About the fabrics of the Navy

Until the 80s of the XX century, the military everyday work uniform for the servicemen of the Russian Navy was made of lightweight canvas, which could be easily cleaned from the most difficult to remove stains. The Black Sea Fleet was dressed in white work clothes, the rest - most often in blue. A little later, the color of the uniform changed to blue / dark blue, and the material was mainly cotton fabric. The new form is sewn in a variety of ateliers, using all sorts of and not always good-quality fabrics. New (currently approved) uniforms can be of any color, ranging from shades of black and blue.

What is the most common naval suit of the new design for 2019? A naval suit, or, in the jargon of naval servicemen, a work dress (also a sailor's robe) is a form of work overalls for sailors, cadets of naval schools, as well as foremen of the Russian Navy. The sailor's suit consists of the following items of clothing:

  • Shirt.
  • Trousers.
  • Sailor collar.
  • Shoes.
  • Headdress.

Sailor's shirt

The shirt, usually worn with a special fastened collar, is cut after the pattern of the classic sailor's shirt. Her back and one-piece front - without seams, with a wide turn-down collar. There is a patch pocket on the front and an inside pocket on the seamy side. There is a slit that fastens with a button. Shirt sleeves are straight, set-in; simple epaulets, corresponding to the rank. An obligatory element of sailor clothing is a white tag with an indelible combat number. Such a shirt is worn outside, and during watch service must be tucked into his pants. In the cold, an overcoat, pea jacket or coat is put on over the set.

Sailor pants

The sailor's work trousers are made of dark blue cotton fabric. They have side pockets, buckles on the codpiece, as well as a belt with special loops (loops) for the belt. The belt is made mainly of pigskin, with the emblem of the Russian Navy on its badge. On the buckle of the sample that existed in the USSR, an anchor with a star was depicted.

Sailor collar

The collar is also made of cotton material, worn over a shirt, has a lining and three white stripes, symbolizing the victories of the Navy in such battles as Chesme, Gangut and Sinop. The formal naval clothing also includes a sailor collar.

Sailor's headdress

There are several hats in the uniforms of the Navy. One of them is a capless cap, to which a tape with the name of the ship or with the inscription "Navy" is attached. The tape is put on the band. It, like the bottom with walls, is made of wool. On the crown of the headdress there is a cockade, which is a golden anchor. In the USSR, the cockade had the shape of the so-called "crab" - a red star framed by golden leaves. This summer cap is sewn of white fabric (comes with a removable cover). A black fur hat with earflaps serves as a winter headdress.

In 2014, the plans were to introduce a woolen hat to replace the cap with earflaps for outdoor work. Also in 2014, other developments of the new form were carried out, but some innovations did not take root.

In addition, the daily kit includes a beret.

Available in a set of hats and a garrison cap. On the front side of the cap there is a golden anchor-shaped cockade. In the form of the Soviet Navy, the cap was intended for the crews of submarines. It had a black color and differed in type - for privates and for officers. Relatively recently, the cap was adopted as part of the uniform worn by the entire composition of the Navy. Its semicircular style was replaced by a rectangular one. Also, the cap received white edging, which were previously intended only for the headgear of warrant officers and officers, as well as a cockade instead of a star.

Shoes

The above-described suit is accompanied by boots made of leather with thick soles, called in naval jargon "burnouts" or "reptiles". Not so long ago, boots were sewn with laces, but now, in 2019, they also have rubber inserts (they were introduced in 2014). In areas with a harsh climate, military personnel wear barnyard boots. The tropical form provides for the wearing of sandals.

Also in the full set of everyday uniforms there is a striped vest, gloves and a hat with earflaps.

Casual uniform of officers and warrant officers

The military everyday uniform, designed for officers and midshipmen, includes: a black or white woolen cap, a jacket made of the same material, a black coat, a cream shirt, a black tie with a gold-colored setting, a muffler, black trousers, a waist belt, gloves, etc. ankle boots, low shoes or boots as footwear. It is also allowed to include a black garrison cap, a woolen sweater of the same color, a demi-season jacket or raincoat and a blue wool jacket in a daily set.

Casual female uniform of the Navy

It is a set of a garrison cap made of black wool, a black woolen skirt, a cream-colored blouse, a traditional tie with a gold setting and a waist belt, black shoes (or boots) and nude tights. Also included is a jacket.

The winter casual uniform involves wearing an astrakhan black beret, wool coat, skirt, blouse, belt, tie and tights from the above summer set, black muffler and gloves. Shoes are boots or boots. The jacket is also present in the winter version of the form. It is allowed to wear a sweater, a demi-season raincoat, a garrison cap and a cap with earflaps.

Parade uniform for officers and warrant officers of the Navy

There are several types of dress uniforms for different weather / climatic conditions. The headdress in the set of the ceremonial sample is a white / black cap (summer or winter / woolen) or a cap with earflaps sewn from black fur (colonels, senior officers and captains of the first rank wear an astrakhan hat with a visor).

An obligatory element of any type of dress uniform of an officer and midshipman is a black tie with a gold setting. Also included is a woolen jacket: black (front) or white (summer). Black woolen trousers, a white shirt and a golden belt are the basis of any dress uniform.

Shoes - black or white shoes / boots or low shoes / ankle boots. There may also be a white muffler or a detachable collar (depending on weather conditions). The outerwear is a black woolen coat. Sewn-on shoulder straps are worn on it, as well as on jackets. The shirts are removable. The winter dress uniform provides for warm black gloves. It is also allowed to wear a demi-season raincoat or jacket, white gloves.

Parade uniform for foremen and sailors of the Navy

Obligatory items of clothing are a striped vest (the contract service uniform provides for wearing a cream shirt with a tie), woolen black trousers and a black waist belt. A headdress can be a white (summer) peakless cap or a black woolen cap, or a fur hat with earflaps (winter version). A white or black cap is also intended for a contractor. There is also a white uniform (for a contract soldier - a jacket made of black wool), or a blue flannel jacket. The uniform includes a woolen black coat (on which epaulets are also worn, as well as on jackets, pea coats, flannel jackets and uniforms), mufflers and gloves. It is also allowed to wear a pea jacket. Shoes - boots / low shoes, ankle boots.

Women's dress uniform of the Navy

Such a set in its composition almost completely repeats the everyday one, except that the jacket is ceremonial, the belt is also ceremonial, golden, and in the winter version it has a white comforter in the set.

  • A blue or black cap or a casual cap of the same colors.
  • A suit consisting of trousers and a jacket with long (short) sleeves.
  • Vests or white / blue t-shirts.
  • Also, the office uniform of the Navy also contains a white cap.

Dembel uniform of the Navy

The Dembel Maritime Uniform is a very special "informal" form for an employee. This is not just a set of clothes - but a manifestation of the soldier's imagination and pride. Such a kit is drawn up according to the personal preferences of the employee.

Most often, it consists of a sewn-in tunic with sewn on emblems of the patrimonial troops, gold buttons, awards and badges, aiguillette and traditional shoes, a belt and a cap (beret).
