It all starts with the fact that a loser schoolboy Sawade Tsunayoshi Mom strongly recommends a tutor to improve her performance at school. Contrary to all expectations, that same tutor turned out to be Reborn- a five-year-old kid in a leather suit with a lizard on his hat. And he was going to teach Tsuna not school subjects at all, but the skills needed by the Mafia boss. Mom, not a word or breath about the absurdity of the whole situation, all hands are in favor. In the end, this creation is a banal shonen, with a fairly exciting plot, but, alas, with a lack of dynamics. Although the beginning of the anime does look like a comedy, because there is no endless mind-blowing, holivar and fights, everything is not so confusing, and the atmosphere is relaxing. They didn’t let their brains rest after the second arc, where, every now and then, an endless number of battles take place, the history of more and more characters and families is touched upon, right up to the first generation of the Vongola. Compared to the vast majority of anime, this is quite aggressive in itself. Not only does it incorporate quite a lot of aspects of the lives of peoples, but also the plot in some places looks like a video game. For example, take the game “Mario” - the Vongola’s running around the enemy’s base every now and then makes one refer to this toy, since the characters get lost in labyrinths, fight, and as a prize they take weapons and rings from the enemy and move on. The only difference between the game and the anime is the number of characters. It is surprising that the author’s imagination was not limited only to edged weapons; even mechanical instruments and other devices were used. Such as motorcycles, sensors, lenses, headphones, etc. Well, here's some fur for you. It’s also worth mentioning the mystic component. The truth is, the entire share fell on the poor illusionists, of whom there are 5-6 in all the anime, if not less. In general, if you don’t watch anime for the plot, then watch it for the characters, which is what many do, because, despite their large number, everyone is unique, always in the character and in their own way strikes people’s hearts. Although on the other hand the situation looks absurd: some 15-year-old brats are in the mafia, but even this share of absurdity was covered by the Fantasy component of this anime - of course, they have nothing to do there, if not for the features of their weapons and constantly developing abilities. There are a lot of episodes in the anime where the characters' training is shown, so it can be called educational to some extent.

As the plot progresses, the degree of bullying towards the characters also increases. They are tortured, undermined, trained, attacked, growled, beaten, turned into a mass of unknown origin. But believe me, the situation does not change because of this. Yes, yes, everything still remains friendly, peaceful and calm. While watching, you are unlikely to have to jump out of your chair, get nervous and bite your nails, although the music in the background was also chosen to be dramatic and “raw” enough to shed tears. Simply because the atmosphere remains more or less calm, not violent and monotonous due to the relationships between the characters. Perhaps the only thing that was carried throughout the entire anime period.

Technique.

Regarding the anime drawing style and other things that relate to the technical part: if you are not very picky, then everything is fine.

However, looking at manga, one usually expects more from the drawing, the same “dimensional” characters, drawing of leather objects and shapes, rather than the usual children’s decorated cartoon that is shown on channels for children after school. But, Alas, the anime was still made for children, and therefore there is a minimum blood content (compared to manga), and the art leaves much to be desired. In all anime, the art fails in the first episodes. So you will have to endure it. But what does not disappear throughout the entire masterpiece is Tsuna’s “star-shaped” hair (and the same eyes that are always enlarged in surprise and a jaw that greets the floor). Oh yes, be prepared for the fact that sometimes episodes in anime are shortened to 15 minutes. And after the ending there is a children's show, which in most cases is not translated.

Regarding the musical accompaniment, I can say that it is excellent. You can listen to every OST, there are no ear-irritating themes that play anywhere. Moreover, each character has its own song, which is sung by the character’s Seiyu, which is very pleasant to listen to, because they are not the worst singers.

Openings are quickly remembered and stuck in the head, even though they are Japanese and impossible to sing. The funny songs ingrained themselves in the brain, overshadowing even the sometimes not very good video series.

The endings are calm, monotonous, but at the same time attracting attention, because they are quite bright and cute.

In total, the anime has 8 Openings (for every ~25 episodes) and 16 Endings.

Imaizuki Kenichi, acted as the main director of this series, so this can be considered his first success. To watch or not to watch?

I would still recommend this anime to be watched by more female audiences than males. Again, referring to a fairly large amount of “blueness” and yaoi. For the most part, there is no emphasis on fights, so it’s not worth straining for them. Those who are disgusted by anime, but are interested in the plot, can read the manga. There the characters are drawn better, and there is more meaning in it, but there is almost no fan service.

Cosplayers and others interested in the art of anime can and should watch it, since there is plenty to choose from. The same goes for fan fiction - what kind of relationship between the characters is not mentioned in the anime, not to mention the totality of nationalities.

And just girls who love kawaii cuties can safely add this wonderful creation to the list of anime, which eats up the brain once and for all.
