Greetings, my dear, patriotic friends and guests of the “Family and Childhood” site. Since the wonderful holiday of all men, Defender of the Fatherland Day, is approaching, I suggest you familiarize yourself with a master class on creating a themed gift for February 23. Such information will be interesting and useful to everyone who wants to congratulate men on a wonderful day, wants to do it somehow original, in a new way. The Star of Kanzashi is a handmade order that is worthy of a real hero.

If you look at the finished product, you will see that the brooch consists of two main parts: a star made of red felt, a spikelet modeled from satin and brocade ribbons. For a man, there is no need for bright colors in jewelry. To make the brooch look solemn and in keeping with the holiday theme, use muted red felt, and decorated with a gold frame it will look like velvet. Such a souvenir will stay with its owner for a long time; you can also make a magnet for the refrigerator.

To create a star decorated with a spikelet, we will need:

- red felt, gold tire - a simple and easily processed base for the product;

- 7 square pieces of orange satin ribbon - width 5 cm;

- 7 square pieces of black tape - width 5 cm;

- 7 square pieces of gold brocade - width 5 cm;

- scissors, lighter, glue gun.

Do-it-yourself Kanzashi star for February 23

To create the basis of the order, you need to cut out a star from red felt. You may find this stage of product modeling the most difficult if you do not have a ready-made template for the main part. To begin, print out a five-pointed star of a suitable size on paper, cut it out, then try it on felt and cut out the red blank. Cut the golden tire mesh into thin strips. This is the fittings that will be used to create the base of the brooch.

In addition to the material for the base of the order, cut out squares of satin ribbon in two colors and gold brocade. The width of the ribbon used is 5 cm, the number of squares of each type is the same and equal to 7. The orange color itself is bright, but it will be muted by black, and golden will add solemnity.

To make a beautiful sharp kanzashi petal, consisting of three layers, the middle of which is golden, make standard squares. Bend the squares into triangles, and the flame of a lighter will allow you to hold the satin ribbons in this position.

Next, bend the blanks again to small triangles that are a quarter of the size of the original blank. Make a three-layer sandwich by layering the pieces on top of each other. The orange layer should remain on the outside, and the golden layer on the inside.

Model an oblong petal. Glue the ends with a flame. Then cut off the sloppy tip, stepping back a few millimeters from the edge. Also, the bottom part should also be cut to make the petal flat. It is easier to work with squares whose side is 5 cm than with small workpieces (with a side of 2.5 cm).

To make a beautiful spikelet, it is enough to prepare 7 identical triple petals.

You can make a star as the base, the size of which in the wide part is 13 cm. Cut the tire into segments, a total of 10 parts are needed, and select the length of the segments by trying them on in the star. Glue on an elegant border.

Glue the prepared petals into one trefoil and combine four more parts in two pieces. These are the main parts of the spikelet.

Glue the spikelet by inserting the corner of each subsequent part into the hole of the previous one.

A wonderful gift for a man is ready. All that remains is to figure out a way to attach the brooch to the jacket. Glue a pin on the back side.

I hope, my dear readers, this master class will be useful to you, and you will repeat the same decoration to congratulate your beloved man. If you share this article on social networks, then perhaps this information will help one of your friends. And if you subscribe to our updates, you will see more gift options that you can make yourself for Defender of the Fatherland Day.

On the eve of the holidays, we often have to think about how to decorate the house or what greetings to come up with for loved ones and colleagues, and people who have children also have to help make school holiday crafts. So everyone is a little familiar with handicrafts. This article will tell you how to make a star out of paper with your own hands, which can be used both in New Year's decorations and for other festive and other events.

Sprocket options

3D stars can be made in several different ways, or rather in countless ways. Let's consider three options.

For work we will need the following materials:

  1. For the first two variations, colored paper, and for the third, cardboard, also colored. If you don't have this on hand, use plain white paper. Then you can either color it with paints or felt-tip pens, or leave it white;
  2. Pencil, glue, scissors.

All the stars are very easy to do.

Eight pointed star

To begin, cut out two identical colored squares and fold them in half.

After this, fold the square in half twice in a row, the result should be as in the photo:

Divide the distance from the middle to the edge of the sheet into two, and then make four cuts.

Now the cuts we have made will allow us to bend the edges, which will become the wedges of the future star. We focus on the photo and bend it.

Now we treat the folds with glue and glue them together.

We get one half of the star ready.

It remains to make one more exactly the same half, it can be the same color, or it can be completely opposite.

Lubricate the inner side of the rays of one star with glue and, by connecting the two halves, we get a real beautiful star.

A decorated version might look something like this:

Second option

If the star must be three-dimensional, then you need to understand that it will consist of two parts. So in this case, first prepare one half, then the other and connect. Let's use a blank diagram.

The cut out parts come out as flat shaped pieces of leaf.

To give them volume, it is worth pressing on the fold lines and as a result, you will get slightly convex details.

The places where the parts are glued are aligned and a finished, even part of the star is obtained.

The second half is performed in the same way.

Using the same office glue, we connect the star.

Simple and voluminous

For this craft you will need cardboard and a diagram, which is attached below.

Two such elements are cut out according to the template. Now a cut is made on the first one according to the red line indicated in the diagram:

On the second element, also along the red line, but from this diagram:

The stars are connected and a rather simple, but unusual star is obtained.

Any of the variations of such stars can be decorated with colored felt-tip pens, paints, beads, sequins, and so on, in general, make them colorful and elegant as you wish.

Christmas decorations

Do-it-yourself stars can be made not just as crafts, but specifically for some event, for example, for the New Year and Christmas holidays on the Christmas tree. Several ideas for such stars are presented in the video:

Let's show the sequence of actions when creating a Christmas tree decoration - a star.

To create a holiday star we will need the following materials:

  1. A printer that will allow you to print a template in real size for cutting;
  2. Colored paper or thin cardboard;
  3. Scissors and glue.

Initially, a template is printed and a blank is cut out from it.

The places indicated by dotted lines are intended for folds.

When the individual parts are ready, you can start gluing them all together.

Such an asterisk can be used as a Christmas tree decoration, it is enough to attach a thread or a beautiful ribbon.

Men's holiday decoration

On February 23rd you always want to give a rather original gift. You can complement and diversify it with unusual stars. Multi-colored origami stars are perfect for such an event. To create them, you only need a strip of paper a little more than a centimeter. Such a strip can either be cut out of plain colored paper, or from a completely multi-colored magazine.

The photo clearly shows the step-by-step instructions, but we will describe it in more detail. We start making an asterisk from the very edge, bend the loop and wrap the tail of the shelf into it, we get a knot. We press on the knot making it flat. In theory there should be a distinct pentagon. Turning the star over, hide the tail inside.

The star turns out to be quite small, but its size can be controlled by the width of the strip, and the number of even such small congratulation decorative elements will be very pleasing.

There are many ways to create stars with your own hands, detailed instructions with photos, video tutorials and so on. All you have to do is choose something that suits you and do it.

Figured hole punch - twig (a good helper at work)

Glue gun

I made preparations for the children in advance white cardboard stars, cut squares from red colored paper, cut out the inscription 23 February and colored the word"February" in blue pencil.

The children crumpled up squares of red colored paper with their fingers and applied them to star smeared with PVA glue.

After that we decorate ours asterisks. Together with the children I glued numbers, an inscription and branches. Using hot glue I attached it to each asterisk magnet.

Hello dear readers and guests of the blog. Today I want to invite you to engage in joint creativity with our children; we will make gifts for the holiday of Defender of the Fatherland Day. I think this event is very long-awaited and beloved in our country. Indeed, on this day we can congratulate our men (fathers, grandfathers, brothers) precisely because they are the stronger sex and protect us not only in war, but also in peacetime.

Of course, wives and girls try to do something special for their men on February 23, but the kids do various crafts with their own hands, which is very valuable and pleasant. Therefore, my selection is dedicated specifically to making various gifts from scrap materials for children of all ages.

Most often, crafts are made in kindergartens and schools, as well as in other children's institutions, and of course, caring mothers at home, at their leisure, with their children also try to make different products. And I hope that I will be useful to everyone, educators, teachers, and parents. I have collected the most beautiful and creative handmade gift ideas for February 23rd. I hope everyone finds what they are looking for.

We will start from the youngest age, we will create with preschool children. Here, of course, the basis of the products is made up of various applications, origami, gluing and modeling.

And gifts usually include planes, tanks, ships and symbolic postcards. I would like to offer you to make such a beautiful and simple plane, anyone can do it, both the guys from the junior groups and the senior level.

  • Airplane

We will need:

  • Wooden ice cream sticks - 8 pcs.;
  • Water tube - 1 pc.;
  • PVA glue;
  • Gouache and brush;
  • Scissors.

Manufacturing process:

1. Let's make a frame for the airplane. To do this, take 5 sticks and glue them together using PVA glue.

2. After this, take another stick and glue it to the frame, stepping back a little from the edge.

3. Take a water straw and cut a piece. The width must match the width of the frame. We need two pieces.

4. Glue these pieces to the wings. And also lubricate the part of the body that will be in contact with the second wing with glue.

5. Carefully glue the second airplane wing on top.

6. Take another stick and cut it in half, rounding the edges. Glue to the bottom of the aircraft.

7. Now make the propeller. Divide the stick in half, round the corners. Fold both parts crosswise and coat the joint with glue. And on top you can glue another half of a bead or a small button.

8. Take gouache and a brush and paint the airplane.

9. Glue the propeller to the nose and let the craft dry. The top can be coated with colorless varnish.

  • Volumetric postcard for February 23

We will need:

  • Thick paper or cardboard;
  • Pictures on military themes;
  • Plain colored paper;
  • Stickers;
  • Glue, pencils, paints or markers;
  • Scissors, ruler, pencil.

Manufacturing process:

1. Take cardboard and fold it in half. Using a ruler, you need to divide the height into 3 equal parts and leave marks on the fold with a simple pencil. And from them, draw a couple of perpendicular lines 3 centimeters long and cut the fold.

3. Now decorate the front with a military theme as per your liking. Stick on stars, flowers, numbers.

4. But for the inside, it is necessary to produce different types of military equipment. You can cut out these cars from children's coloring books. It is better to glue them first onto cardboard and then paint them.

5. The finished picture needs to be glued onto the protruding square. And everything is ready!!

Well, I really liked this idea, everything looks so simple and elegant, and most importantly it fits the theme. I recommend that all mothers master the origami technique and make such a symbolic gift with their baby.

  • Shirt with tie

We will need:

  • Colored paper - 2 sheets of different colors;
  • Scissors;
  • Glue;
  • Markers.

Manufacturing process:

Take colored paper, choose a bright color, this will be the shirt itself. Bend the strip at the top of the sheet. Then straighten the paper and fold it into two parts. Make a small cut on one side exactly along the fold. Flatten the paper again and place the upper right corner at the intersection of the center line and the fold line. We repeat the same with the left corner. You should end up with a folded shirt with a collar.

From a different color of paper, darker, fold the tie and glue it in the center. Use felt-tip pens to draw buttons and pockets.

Now I also want to offer some photo ideas. If you have any questions about production, write reviews and we will definitely look into what is done and how.

2. Then take a two-ruble coin and draw circles on the hard part, these will be the tracks for the tank.

3. Carefully cut out the blanks and glue them to the sides of the whole sponge.

4. Take the tube and cut it in half. And from the soft part of the sponge without a base, cut out two blanks, one larger - this is the tower, the other smaller - the end of the barrel.

5. Now make small holes inside the blanks, grease the ends of the half of the tube with glue and assemble the structure, as in the photo below.

6. Glue the tower to the base of the tank, and as a decoration, make red stars and glue them too.

  • White paper;
  • Scissors, stationery knife;
  • Glue stick;
  • Figured hole punch.

Manufacturing process:

1. Find a picture of a boat and print it on 1/2 of white paper. Using a stationery knife, carefully cut it along the contour, but do not touch the horizontal lines. Next, make folds along horizontal lines, folding the card in half. Cut out the edges of the card using scissors with a wave blade.

2. Now glue the blank onto the cardboard, stepping back 1 cm from the edge. If the cardboard is not double-sided, then first cover the wrong side with wallpaper.

4. Additionally, you can make different decorations to suit your taste.

5. Check how the boat is stuck.

6. Glue the poem and decorations to the bottom.

7. Glue the inscription on the outside of the card and decorate it as desired.

8. Our gift is ready!!

Well, a small selection of what else you can do with school-age children. I won’t describe it in detail, so everything is clear: look at the picture and do it))

Children's crafts for February 23rd from plastic bottles

And at the end, another master class on making a gift from ordinary bottles. It turns out very original and beautiful, and most importantly, it is done quickly and easily.

  • "Helicopter"

We will need:

  • Plastic bottle with a convex top;
  • Straws for drinks;
  • Stapler;
  • Hairpin;
  • Ping pong ball;
  • Scissors.

Manufacturing process:

1. Prepare all materials. Take the bottle and close it tightly. Using scissors, make a hole in it with the diameter of a drinking straw.

2. Now cut the bottle approximately in half. Take the top part with the neck and bulge and one small strip.

3. The tubes must be cut so that the parts with a bend are slightly shorter than the straight parts. We need three pieces with flexible ends and two straight ones.

4. Take two short pieces with a flexible tip and connect the arc to them using a stapler. Straight strips are crossed together and secured with a pin. We insert the remaining piece of the arc with a flexible tip into the hole in the lid.

5. Using a stapler, we connect the cockpit and runners of the helicopter.

6. We insert the ball into the cabin (you can take a ball from an old deodorant or an egg from a Kinder surprise). Attach the screw on top.

But what other planes and helicopters can be built:
