If you are lucky enough not only to walk through the coniferous forest, but also to bring a few cones from there, then make beautiful New Year's crafts out of them.

We make toys for the Christmas tree

From a cone, you can make not only a Christmas toy for a Christmas tree, but also the Christmas tree itself, as in the photo. To do this, paint it green and wait until it dries. Attach bows, beads and snowflakes, flowers cut from white lace to a miniature Christmas tree. Don't forget to make a stand for the Christmas tree.

If you show your imagination, you will be able to create creative crafts from cones in the form of squirrels, deer and birds, but you will have to make them heads and legs, and the cones will serve as a torso.

If you just paint the bump or cover it with glue and sprinkle with sparkles, you get an unusual decoration, to which you just have to attach a loop.

Candlesticks made of natural material

The shining of festive lights raises your spirits, so on holidays you want to see them as often as possible. Do not limit yourself only to garlands, make New Year's candlesticks from cones, and they will add brightness and comfort to the interior.

The easiest option is to decorate ready-made candlesticks, decorating them in the spirit of the holiday with pine cones, twigs and Christmas tree decorations.

Interesting candlesticks can be obtained from glass jars by pouring artificial snow (or ordinary salt) on the bottom. Glue a strip of lace to the top of the jar, tie a couple of cones sprinkled with "snow".

Make candlesticks from flower holders, as in the photo, decorating them with artificial needles. For decoration, use small Christmas toys, cinnamon sticks, beads and cones.

Wreaths on the door

Currently, they are popular, it is not difficult to make them. The main thing is to prepare a reliable base in the form of a circle.
The base frame can be made from:

  • wire;
  • a flexible wire hanger for clothes;
  • thick cardboard;
  • buy a ready-made circle in a handicraft store.

Decor elements are attached to the base: cones, ribbons, bows, nuts, leaves, etc. To make the product look more impressive, some details can be covered with gilding, white paint imitating snow or sparkles.

Decor for table setting

Do not forget that not only the New Year tree should be elegant, but also the festive table. Let cute gnomes from cones hide between the plates or bright owls peep out. Make nice souvenirs for each party to the feast: glue bright feathers to the cone and write the name of the person to whom the cutlery is intended.

On the eve of the New Year, many are thinking about how to celebrate it and how to be with the New Year tree. The presence of a living beauty in our time is no longer so fashionable, but made of various materials are very relevant. Now we will analyze several ways how to make the simplest Christmas tree from pre-prepared spruce cones in a master class with our own hands. Cones are wonderful raw materials for various kinds of crafts. Collecting them is not difficult, pine and spruce trees grow in almost any park, garden or forest. At the same time, you can save on purchases of expensive New Year's decorations. Along with this, we get an environmentally friendly natural material that not only decorates, but also gives a unique coniferous aroma, creating a festive atmosphere.

How to make a Christmas tree from fir cones with your own hands in MK

Before starting work, in order to prevent distortion of the dimensions of the finished product, it is advisable to perform some procedures.

  • Being warm, the lump opens, once in a cold place it closes again, therefore, to fix the shape, you need to hold it in a solution of wood glue for at least half a minute, then dry it.
  • If you need to open it faster, you can boil and dry it on a battery or keep it in the oven.

This tiny Christmas tree is made from just one big bump, it is only important that it is fully open, it is very convenient to do this craft with small children.

So the materials:

  • Big bump - 1 piece
  • Green paint
  • Silver nail polish
  • Decorative elements - beads, beads, bows, ribbons, snowflakes
  • The base is salted dough or a small pot.
  1. We paint the already prepared open “herringbone” green
  2. We tint the edges with varnish, you can replace the varnish with sparkles, sprinkle them on the places greased with transparent glue.
  3. Also, with the help of glue and various beads or whatever is available, we decorate our tree, the result will completely depend on imagination.
  4. We make a stand. We sculpt our "snow" from salted dough in the form of a cake and set the finished Christmas tree in it. Or just fix it in a small pot.

Consider the simplest option for making a New Year's beauty from pine cones, which requires a minimum of time and necessary items. It is suitable for decorating a table, for example, in an office, or a small shelf. What is needed for this:

  • Cones
  • Glue gun or thin wire
  • Rain (preferably green)
  • Scissors
  1. We glue the base, tightly laying the largest cones, glue them with a gun or twist them with wire
  2. Then we lay the next row of the smaller ones, creating a cone, and so on, until there is only one left, which will be the top.
  3. Cut the rain into small pieces and glue it in between, decorating the finished creation.

This is the result.

In this way, it is possible to make a larger Christmas tree, of course, and more raw materials will be needed.

This requires:

  • Cones
  • Glue gun
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Spray paint (silver or gold)

  1. First, we will make a base, cut out a circle of any size from cardboard - this will be the bottom. Then we glue the cone, its base should be slightly less than the diameter of the bottom. We fill the inner part of the cone with old newspapers, small foam, if this is not done, the cardboard may not withstand the weight and deform. And we combine these two blanks into a single structure.
  2. Now with hot glue we connect the cones to the base, starting from the bottom, in a circle and further up. It is important to fill in all possible gaps by choosing the correct dimensions for the starting material.
  3. Cover the formed tree with spray paint. If you wish, you can decorate with a luminous garland.

The photo below shows in detail all the manufacturing processes described above.

With a huge number of cones and a large supply of patience and perseverance, you can create a large outdoor festive spruce. All family members, both adults and children, can join the work on it.

Materials:
  • A lot of cones
  • Superglue - a lot
  • Plywood
  • Wooden blocks or furniture legs, wheels can be used.
  • Aerosol paint (green and white)
  1. A circle is cut out of a piece of plywood, the diameter of which is from 50 to 70 cm. On one side of it are attached pieces or ready-made legs for furniture, and on the other side a New Year tree will "grow".
  2. We spread the cones along the edge of the base and glue them together and with the plywood surface. We already put the next row with a slight shift to the center of the circle, and so on all subsequent rows. The result should be a cone.
  3. We paint over the resulting creation with green paint, and we smear the edges with white paint, creating the effect of snow.

For an illustrative example, we suggest watching a selection of videos with different options for making Christmas trees. Imagine and create.

You will need:

Pine and spruce cones;

Scissors;

Thick cardboard;

Decorative berries and birds (or any other decorations);

Hot glue;

Low wide vase;

Artificial snow in a spray can.

First of all, decide on the size of the future tree, its width. On a piece of cardboard, draw a circle of the desired diameter (you can use, for example, a plate). Cut out the resulting shape.

Clean the cones prepared for creativity from debris, then sort them by size into three piles: small, medium and large. Place a cardboard circle in front of you, apply a thick layer of hot glue around its edge, then place the larger cones on the glue with the wide side in the center of the circle. Fasten the bumps together with glue.

Thus, continue to lay out the source materials in tiers in a circle, trying to make each next tier slightly smaller in diameter than the previous one. Remember, larger cones must be at the base of the tree, medium - in its middle, and smaller - at the top. At the very top of the craft, fasten one cone vertically.

The Christmas tree is ready, now you can start decorating it. Apply artificial snow to it (it is better to do this outdoors, since if you apply it indoors, you can stain the surrounding objects). Let it dry a little, then decorate the Christmas tree with artificial berries and. The Christmas tree will look very original if the decorations are chosen in the same color scheme.

Once the tree is ready, take a wide vase or flower pot, turn the piece upside down and apply glue to the bottom. Glue the cardboard base of the craft to the vase / pot and let the glue dry. The decorative tree is ready.

We have a lot of cones this year, there are plenty of things to make a variety of crafts. Therefore, there will be a Christmas tree made of cones for the New Year. Moreover, it is not at all difficult to make it, more effort was spent on decoration, since sticking small beads is not as fun as cones.

What do you need for the craft?

  • Pine cones;
  • Thick cardboard;
  • Glue gun;
  • Regular glue;
  • Scissors;
  • Green gouache, brush;
  • Decorations for the Christmas tree.

If it was not difficult to decide on the base of the tree, I immediately decided that it would be a cardboard cone, then it did not work out so easily with the color of the tree and its decor. I wanted everything at once: a Christmas tree with cones in their constant state with gold accents, a Christmas tree sprinkled with white gouache and decorated with white mother-of-pearl beads. But still I stopped at the classic - a green Christmas tree with colorful toys and tinsel. Although, there are still cones, perhaps some of the above and I will embody in reality, with a different base, for example, on a conical papier-mâché or a bottle.

How to make a Christmas tree from cones?

Making a cone

First you need to make a cone out of cardboard. It is advisable that the cardboard is dense, or glue the two together. Since the tree will be green, it is also better to take green cardboard so that it is a single whole with the cones.

Make a bag out of cardboard, glue the edges.

Trim the bottom to create an even taper. The base of the tree is ready, now it's time to move on to gluing the cones.

Glue the cones

Preheat the glue gun for 5 minutes. During this time, pick up larger cones on the first row. Place a pea of glue on the bump and immediately press down on the bottom of the cone. Glue the first row of bumps, fitting them tightly so that there are as few gaps as possible. Thanks to the glue gun, the work is progressing very quickly.

Glue the second row, being careful to place the bump between the two from the first row. Of course, due to the different size of the buds, this is not always possible, but it is worth trying.

We are moving more and more confidently to the top, now the third and fourth rows are ready. If possible, smaller buds can occupy the top rows. But somehow it didn't work out for me, the bumps were almost all the same.

We glue the last row of cones and put one of them on top. But there are also several options here, for example, you can not glue a cone to the top, but immediately a star, a bow, any other decoration.

Since the choice fell on the green color of the tree, you need to paint all the cones in the desired color. I diluted the green gouache a little with water and added yellow to make it a brighter color, and also as close as possible to the cone. My daughter and I painted all the cones on the tree with a brush, but the process is quite slow. For these purposes, spray paint is the best choice: faster and more efficiently. Or at least paint the buds before they stick to the cone. But in this case, it is difficult to quantify. But the deed is done, the tree is painted green.

Decorating a Christmas tree made of cones

The decoration was done the next day, since the gouache does not dry as quickly as we would like.

Daughter's beads, which she had long tortured, came in handy as toys. I also glued the beads with a glue gun, but I had to tinker with this trifle. The buds are much easier to work with.

Well, and the final touch - not very fluffy yellow tinsel, three times entwined around the tree. Here is such a tree made of cones, cute and bright.

New Year. This holiday is wonderful because it does not fly by in an instant, and we are preparing for its meeting long before the celebration itself. It is really felt when we wait for it, prepare for it. Every year, we again and again plunge into the festive bustle. Bright lights, the smell of tangerines and, of course, what a new year is without a Christmas tree. The Christmas tree is the main attribute of the upcoming holiday. If you do not plan to stage a real forest beauty, then you can celebrate with its smaller counterpart, created from scrap materials, for example, pine cones. And you will learn how to make a Christmas tree from cones in the course of the further description of MK.

I devoted this master class to creating a conical tree from cones. Such a Christmas tree can decorate the interior of any apartment or serve as an original gift for your loved ones.

So, for work we need:

  • Pine cones;
  • cardboard (or any thick paper);
  • hot glue gun;
  • 3 - 4 pcs. transparent glue gun rods;
  • spray can of silver acrylic paint;
  • scissors;
  • stapler;
  • beads for decoration.

How to make a Christmas tree from cones: step by step instructions

To begin with, I went for a walk in the forest with my children. We have no snow yet, so we quickly replenished the autumn supply of cones, which we lacked. At home, we sorted out the cones: we threw out the broken ones, cleaned the good ones of debris and sorted them into large and small ones. If the buds are too closed, they can be dried in the oven. They will open from the hot air. By the way, you can make a lot of all kinds of New Year's crafts from pine cones - penguins, spiders, mice, etc.

Collected cones

The next step is to prepare the base of the Christmas tree. I rolled the cardboard into a cone, fixed it with glue and a stapler. At the base, cut off the excess paper with scissors. I did not paint the base for the tree. But if you want everything to be perfect, you can do it.

The cone is the basis for the Christmas tree

Now, using a glue gun, you can start building up the first row. We will start with big cones, and finish the craft with small ones. If you don't have a glue gun, any super glue can be used. But still (to speed up the process and in order to make the tree of cones neat), I would advise you to buy it (even the most inexpensive will do), because hot glue sets instantly, which significantly reduces the working time. I applied hot glue to the bottom of the tapered base. We attach a bump to it, pressing firmly. Glue the next cone next to it, trying not to leave gaps. The first row is ready.

We start to glue the cones

Thus, moving from the bottom up, I glued the cones tier by tier. During work, I tried to select cones so that the next ones lay down with the smallest gaps. If there are gaps left, that's okay. You can close them with scales from cones. But this work seemed painstaking to me, but I want to get pleasure from the process. Therefore, I left it as it is, and when I painted the whole tree, they became invisible.

We glue the cone with cones

On the last two rows, I tried to attach the smallest bumps. For the top, the most beautiful elongated lump was reserved. Liberally drip glue onto it and fix it. To make the pine cone tree more decorative, you need to decorate it with garlands and tinsel. But first, let's "sprinkle" it with silver snow.

Coloring a Christmas tree made of cones

Yes, if there are threads left from hot glue, carefully remove them so as not to spoil the appearance of our beauty. In my opinion, such a Christmas tree is already ready to fulfill its festive function. But I optimized it a little more.

I took ordinary silver paint from a spray can and painted the entire surface of the tree.

It is necessary to paint somewhere on the street, since the paint has a very specific pungent smell. Since when spraying, even in calm weather, her vapors will fly in different directions, I advise you to wear clothes that you do not mind getting dirty.

Spray paint in different directions. We are waiting for the paint to dry completely. Then, using a hot gun, I glued the decorative elements. To begin with, I cut the Christmas tree beads. In a word, you can use whatever is at hand. If there are beads, they will work fine. We glue them in a chaotic manner.

You can add some decorations and New Year's tinsel, put on small ones. It all depends on your taste and imagination, experiment! Here's what you should get approximately:
