Crochet basket: job description

Bottom

First you need to tie a slip knot, after which we perform 2 in. P..

1 row: 8 s. without n. in the 2nd c. p. from the hook = 8 p..

2 rows: knit 2 half-columns with / double crochet in each loop, sl-st. = 16 p..

3 row: 2 in. p., 1 half-column with / double crochet in the connection loop, 1 half-column with / double crochet in the next loop, * 2 half-column with / double crochet in 1 loop, 1 half-column with / double crochet in the next loop *, from * to *, ss. = 24 p..

4 rows: 2 in. p., 1 half-column with / double crochet in the loop of the connection, 1 half-column with / double crochet in the next 2 loops, * 2 half-columns with / double crochet in 1 loop, 1 half-column with / double crochet in the next 2 loops *, from * to *, ss. = 32 p..

5 rows: 2 in. p., 1 half-column with / throwing into the connection loop, 1 column with / throwing into the next 3 loops, * 2 half-columns with / throwing into 1 loop, 1 half-column with / throwing into the next 3 loops *, from * to * , ss. = 40 p..

6 rows: 2 in. p., 1 half column with / throwing into the connection loop, 1 half column with / throwing in the next 4 loops, * 2 half columns with / throwing in 1 loop, 1 half column with / throwing in the next 4 loops *, from * to *, ss. = 48 p..

Walls

1 row: we will need to knit half-columns with / throw over, capturing the loops that remain when knitting semi-columns with / throwing on the reverse side of knitting (do not confuse with the front and back loops!). As a result, we get both walls of each pet. and after knitting the 7th row, we will get 2 parallel tracks along the bottom of the basket.

7 p.: 1 c. p., 1 p. without n. in the 1st p. reverse side knitting, in the same way we knit the remaining pet. With. without n., ss. = 48 p..

8 p.: 2 c. p., 48 semi-columns with / throwing, ss. = 48 p..

9 p.: 1 c. p., 48 p. without n. behind the back wall, starting from the connecting pet., ss. = 48 p..

10 p.: 2 c. p., 48 semi-columns with / throwing, ss. = 48 p..

11 p.: 1 in. p., 48 p. without n., starting with the connecting pet., ss. = 48 p..

12 p.: 2 c. ., 48 semi-columns with/throw, ss. = 48 p..

13 p.: 1 in. p., 48 p. without n., starting with the connecting pet. and grabbing the loops for the back wall, ss. = 48 p..

Pens

14 p.: 2 in. p., 8 semi-columns with / throwing, 7 c. p., skip 5 loops on the basket, after which you need to tie another 19 semi-columns with / throw, 7 in. n. and again skip 5 loops, then 10 half-columns with / throw and sl-st. = 52 p..

15 p.: 1 c. p., 8 p. without n., starting with the connecting pet., after that we proceed to tying the first handle of the 8th s. without n. (do not insert the hook into the loop, we tie it over the handle), 19 s. without n., now the second handle is 8 s. without n., 10 s. without n. = 54 p..

We just have to cut the thread, fasten it and our crochet basket is ready!

DIY basket for small things

We will need:

  • purple yarn Rowan Kid Classic (140 meters per 50 grams), 3 skeins;
  • lemon-colored yarn Rowan Kid Classic (140 meters per 50 grams), 1 skein;
  • hook No 4.5.

Size of the finished product: 12 cm in height, bottom diameter - 26.5 cm.

Bump: tie a bump, leaving the last st of each s. s / n. on the hook, perform further 5 s. s / n. in the next pet., perform nak. and we stretch the thread through all 6 loops on the hook, if necessary, pushing the “bump” to the front side.

Important! Crochet basket we knit with a thread in two additions!

The bottom is made in a continuous spiral. We mark the first paragraph of the circular river. (with a marker for eyelets or a contrasting thread), we move it in the process of knitting.

Walls

We turn the knitting clockwise, holding the thread at work, inside out and tying the sidewalls, as described below.

1 row: knitting only for the front wall of the loop, we perform 1 s. without n. in a half-column without acc., 1 s. without n. in each subsequent loop of the base, half-column. without nak. in the 1st s. without n., turn the knitting clockwise (holding the thread at work) with the right side towards you.

2 row: we knit for both walls 1 s. without n. in a half-column without acc., 1 s. without n. in each subsequent loop of the base, half-column. without nak. in the 1st s. without n .. We turn.

3-6 row: repeat the 2nd p. x 4. We switch to lemon yarn when doing half columns without nak. at the end of the 6th row.

Cut purple yarn.

7 row: with lemon yarn you need to tie 1 s. without n. in a half-column without crochet., 2 s. without n., *cone from 5 s. without n. *, from * to * to the last 3 s. without n., p. s / n., 2 p. without n., half-column. without capes. in the 1st s. without n., turn.

Selection of schemes

Now at the peak of popularity are all kinds of baskets, basket bags, crocheted. The basket is made of any braid, rope, Spaghetti-type yarn, Ribbon, knitted or T-shirt yarn. You can take any cotton or synthetic yarn in 3 additions. The original basket for all sorts of little things is especially relevant for giving. With knitted handles, the product turns into a basket bag.

A hand-knitted basket will add coziness to your home. What is especially good about this work is that you can knit from anything. You can cut an old T-shirt, jumper, or just a piece of any fabric. The basket can be plain, with colored inserts, or colorful - as you like. We start work with an amigurumi ring. To understand how to make an amigurumi ring, look at the picture:

So it will be easier for us to understand where the work begins. Legend:
VP - air loop, RLS - single crochet, CCH - double crochet, SSBN - connecting single crochet.

For work you will need:

  1. Ribbon yarn, can be from old T-shirts, 2 colors.
  2. Hook 10 mm.
  3. Scissors.
  4. Needle.

We start knitting with an amigurumi ring. We fix the loop:

We knit 8 single crochets from the loop.

1st row: we close them with a connecting half-column. And now with the thread that we have left, we tighten the base.

2nd row: we make increases in each loop formed. We add 8 loops. We make 1 air loop (VP) to lift the row, 2 single crochet (SC), 2 SC, and so on until the end of the row. We finish with a connecting column without a crochet (PRS). As a result, 16 loops.

3rd row: increases not for each pigtail, but through one. 1 VP for lifting the row, 1 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, and so on, until the end of the row. We are finishing SSBN. Total 24 loops.

4th row: make increments. 1 ch, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, 1 sc, 1 sc, 2 sc, and so on, until the end of the row. We are finishing SSBN. Total 32 loops.

For the next rows, we make increments with an increase in the step. 8 loops are added. Total 40 loops.

We add 8 more loops. Total 48 loops.

We knit RLS in a circle. We insert the hook into the upper VP of the beginning of the circle.

We take a yarn of a different color, we knit RLS.

1 VP and RLS in a circle. We close the row with a single crochet. We knit another row.

We start knitting handles. We make 2 VP, then 10 double crochets (CCH). We do 5 VP, skip 7 P, then we knit 17 CCH. We make 5 VP, skip 7 P and knit CCH to the end of the row. We close the RLS row.

For work you will need:

  1. Knitted yarn - 400-500 grams.
  2. Hook 15 mm.
  3. Scissors.

The main pattern is knitted as follows: single crochet (RLS) in circular rows. Each next circular row starts with 1 air loop (VP) lift. We finish with 1 connecting column (SS) in the first single crochet (RLS).
Let's get to work:

First you need to tie the bottom of the basket. We knit a chain of 5 VPs, then it is necessary to close its SS into a ring and knit with the main pattern. We make circles.

  • 1st row: knit 8 sc.
  • 2nd row: we double each loop, that is, we knit 2 loops in 1 loop of the base. You will get 16 loops.
  • 3rd row: double every second loop. You will get 24 loops.
  • 4th row: double every third loop. You will get 35 loops.
  • 5th row: every fourth loop is doubled. You will get 40 loops.
  • 6th row: double every fifth row. You will get 48 loops.
  • 7th row: knit without additions.
  • 8th row: double every sixth row. It will turn out 56. On this we finish making the bottom of the basket. Next, we knit without additions.

After 21 rows from the very beginning of work, we begin to make handles at the basket. We knit two circular rows in this way: 11 RLS, skip the next 7 rows, knitting 7 VP, 11 RLS, skip the next 7 rows, knitting 7 VP, 21 RLS, skip 7 rows, knitting 7 VP, 11 RLS. After 2 circular rows, we knit the last row and finish the work.

We offer to crochet a dense basket of bulky cotton yarn for storing handicraft stocks and more. The knitting pattern was compiled by the needlewoman Nina Camacho and includes two basket sizes: 7cm x 6.5cm and 6cm x 6cm.

Both options will help keep your little things neat and in perfect order. crochet bins are small enough to fit on your desktop, but big enough to hold leftovers that have nowhere to put them. If you want to knit a basket bigger size, simply increase the diameter of the base and the height of the walls.

Crocheted baskets from bulk yarn
Knitting pattern and description (master class)

The basket knitting pattern was translated into Russian by Handcraft Studio.

You will need:

  • 1 kg thick Recycled Cotton Cord, thread thickness 6 mm, color Optic White. This amount will be enough to tie 1 big basket and one small one.
  • crochet hook 10 mm
  • darning or tapestry needle with large eye

Abbreviations:
VP = air loop
RLS = single crochet
SS = connecting post
CCH = double crochet

Row 1.
Make an amigurumi ring by wrapping the thread around two fingers. Insert your hook under the first yarn and pull up a loop from the second yarn. When the first row is finished, you can pull on the end of the thread to close the hole a little.

Row 2.
1 ch lift, 6 sc in the ring, sl-st in the lift air loop to close the row (6 columns). It is very difficult to work with thick yarn. After each row, check if you have knitted the correct number of columns. Do not count the sl-st or ch of the instep as a separate loop.

Row 3.
1 VP lift, 2 sc in each loop, sl-st to close the row (12 columns).

Row 4.
1 lift VP, * 1 RLS in the next loop, 2 RLS in the next; repeat from * five times, sl-st to complete the row (18 bars).

Row 5.
1 lift VP, * 2 RLS, 2 RLS in the next loop; repeat from * 5 times, sl-st to complete the row (24 columns). If you are knitting a small basket, go directly to the 7th row.

Row 6.
1 lift VP, * 3 RLS, 2 RLS in the next loop; repeat from * 5 times, sl-st to complete the row (30 bars).

Row 7.
3 VP lifts, count them as an additional column. Continue the row by working dc in each st, using only the back walls of the sts, starting from the first st of the previous row. SS into the third air loop of the rise to close the row (31 (25) columns).

Row 8.
Repeat row 7 3 (2) times, counting the first 3 ch as the first column, then 30 (24) dc, use both walls of the loop. (31 (25) columns). For a large basket, you will end up with 4 such rows, and for a small basket, 3.

Row 9.
3 ch lift (counts as a column), 5 (3) dc, 5 ch, skip 5 loops, 10 (8) dc, 5 ch, skip 5 loops, 5 (3) dc, sl-st in the third lifting ch to close the row .

Row 10.
1 lift VP (does not count as a column), 6 (4) sc, 5 sc in the interval of air loops, 10 (8) RLS, 5 RLS in the gap of air loops, 5 (3) RLS, SS in the first VP of lifting to close the row. Cut the thread, leaving a 10 cm tail. Divide the cord into three parts and sew them on the wrong side of the basket.

A dense elegant basket made of cotton cord looks self-sufficient. Knit it for a short time, but there are as many options for using it as you like. Such a little thing can be used to store all sorts of little things or create a designer composition. It will take a little time to work. At the same time, it will be possible to admire the results of labor for more than one year.

Knitting a basket: step by step

The basket can be monophonic or combine several colors. Unlike threads, this material will provide additional rigidity to the finished product.

For work you will need:

  • 2 skeins of cotton cord;
  • hook of suitable diameter;
  • a needle with a large eye;
  • scissors.

1. We form a large loop, which will become the basis for creating a circle, and fix it.

2. Around the loop we knit 7 half-columns with a crochet.

3. With an additional loop, we connect the half-columns into a ring. The total number of loops in the circle is 8.

4. We double the number of loops by knitting 2 half-columns for this through each of the loops of the previous row. Now loops - 16.

5. We bring the bottom of the basket to the desired diameter, constantly increasing the number of loops. Increase step 1:2 (in every second loop we knit two loops instead of one).

6. Bottom right size ready. At this point, it is important to bring knitting to the end of the row.

7. We form the sides. To do this, in each of the loops of the bottom we knit one column with a crochet.

8. Again we go to the single crochet and knit, without adding loops, the required number of rows until we start working with another color.

9. We continue knitting with a cord of a different color.

10. To form the handles on each side, leave 7 loops untied, replacing them with a chain of 7 air loops. It is important to determine the location of the handles as accurately as possible and make an equal distance between them.

Difficulty: low

Working time: 2 hours

Materials: hook number 2, wire, scissors

According to the author. For those who have creative activity in full swing, I'm sure it will be more interesting to make such a basket with your own hands. I suggest you crochet a versatile thing that can be used to store Easter souvenirs, summer harvest, and even Christmas gifts!

Knitting materials:

Thick threads (which will hold their shape well). A little lower I will tell you what threads I knitted this time.

Hook of the right size (usually write the recommended hook size on the thread label)

Thick wire for the handle to hold its shape.

I'm talking about the threads, as promised. I discovered the wonderful Yarnart macrame threads.

They are plump and hold their shape wonderfully! For knitted basket- it is important.

Plus, look at the abundance of flowers!

I advise you to try knitting from them. From one hank you will get two baskets according to my description. In a store near my house, they cost 80 rubles 1 skein.

We knit a basket.

As usual, we start with the magic amigurumi ring. We knit 7 single crochets into it. We tighten the ring by pulling on the short tip of the working thread so that there is no hole left.

1 row - an increase in each loop: we knit 2 single crochets in each

2 row - an increase through 1 loop: in every second loop we knit 2 single crochets

3 row - increase through 2 loops

4 row - increase through 2 loops

5 row-8 row - knit 4 more rows, adding the same through 2 loops

Our circle is gradually growing: this is the bottom of the future basket. You can knit more or fewer rows, then the basket will turn out to be a different size.

9 row - we knit without increments: in each loop of the previous row we knit 1 single crochet. Our knitting is smoothly rounded.

10 row - decrease after 6 loops: we knit each 7 and 8 loops together. We have formed the bottom of the basket.

11 row - without increases and decreases. We began to knit the walls of the basket.

12 row - 20 row - I knitted 9 more rows without increases and decreases.

That's how much my basket has grown. (By the way, it can serve as a storage place for balls - I checked) We finish knitting baskets "in height" with a connecting post.

We make 3 lifting air loops.

21 row - an increase after 6: in every 7th loop I knit 2 columns with a crochet. I finish the row with a connecting loop.

Before the next row, again I make 3 lifting air loops And I knit 22 rows with double crochets without increases and decreases. I finish the row with a connecting loop. I fasten the thread and hide it in the knitting fabric, hooking it with a hook.

I bend upper part baskets outside. Here's what happened

By the way, if you turn this basket over, you get a cool hat! I remember my daughter had such a summer hat in her deep childhood.

We knit the handle of the basket.

Knitting a handle at the basket is a real pleasure! (At least it seemed to me). It is knitted according to the flagellum principle and it turns out great!

The beginning is like knitting a basket.

We make a magic amigurumi ring and knit 8 single crochets into it.

And all subsequent rows, knit again behind the back wall loops, like a basket. Like this:

In each loop, we knit 1 single crochet. Our handle is gradually stretched to the length we need.
