Gnome made of paper. Garden gnome. Simple master class origami from red paper

Climax

Any little toy man in a cap is already a gnome. We recognize these fairy-tale characters by their original headdress. Therefore, our first master class will be on making a paper gnome in the form of a cone with our own hands.

You can make this origami in 10 minutes. Just draw a circle with a radius of 10-12 cm on colored paper with a compass (this will be the approximate height of your gnome) and cut it out. Now fold the circle in half and unfold again. Along the outlined two bend axes, cut the workpiece into 4 equal segments. Each should make a funny gnome.

You can immediately draw small faces on paper and decorate the caps with different patterns, or you can first glue the cones, and then depict the eyes, nose, mouth and beard. It will be interesting to look at the applique faces, drawn in advance, cut out of white paper and glued to a cone, as in the photo. From such a cone, you can hang it on the tree.

Quilling

Those who are already familiar with this technique will quickly figure out how you can make such charming volumetric gnomes from rolls of paper strips with your own hands. The principle of assembly in them is the same, only the first dwarf is young, and the other three are elderly bearded men.

We make a beard like a flashlight on a Christmas tree, folding the paper in half with our own hands and cutting strips from the middle. You just have to reduce everything several times. Then flatten the fold so that the beard is curvy, and again fold the paper just to the other side.

To make a cap, take a tightly twisted spiral and use a thin stick to push out the middle to form a cone. If you wind the strips in a spiral different color, the cap will be striped. Coat the inside with glue so that the cap does not fold. The torso is also made, only not from a dense spiral, but from a ring.

Simple master class origami from red paper

    1. To make a flat red gnome, take a square of colored paper and outline the diagonals. Turn the wrong white side towards you.
    2. Fold so that two adjacent sides touch on a diagonal.
    3. Fold the sharp corner up.
    4. Turn right side up.

  1. Unscrew the top corner 2/3 of the length down.
  2. Unscrew another 2-3 mm.
  3. Form a triangle by folding the side corners to the wrong side. Draw origami eyes. You can glue all the corners on the wrong side, glue a loop of thread in the same place and hang origami on the tree.

Master class: papier-mâché gnome

The video shows how to make a garden sculpture out of papier-mâché with your own hands that supports a flashlight, but it is not told.

  1. Take a large plastic beer bottle as a base, wrap the bags around the neck and secure with tape in the form of a head.
  2. Cut the bottom of the bottle in half and roll up two legs, placing the newspaper inside and using tape to secure the shape.
  3. Crumble, rip (but don't chop) the egg cells and pour boiling water over them. Drain off excess water, squeeze out the dough, let it dry a little.
  4. Glue the gnome with newspaper, forming hands, boots, jacket and cap with tape and paper.
  5. Attach the beard and nose wire. She will create additional rigidity. Wrap plastic on it and tie it with newspaper.
  6. Add the paste to the dough and brush over the gnome's papier-mâché, starting with the boots.
  7. Apply layers in several stages, letting each layer dry for 1-2 days. Color the papier-mâché craft and place a flashlight in her hand.

Good day everyone and Have a good mood... What is an amateur gardener only with flowers, but also with various figures? I think that most of us, when we go to specialty stores and see garden figurines there, think that they want to see them in our garden.
I am completely delighted when I see various figures, in someone's garden, in a garden. For a long time I wanted to buy a gnome for the garden, but since I am on maternity leave, I admit honestly, I have no money to buy garden figures. But then I have free time, imagination and hands that have no rest, I also have a little helper. Therefore, I decided to make a gnome with my own hands from scrap materials.

To make a gnome, I needed:
- Plastic bottle.
- Scissors, knife.
- Scotch.
- Plastic bag (T-shirt).
- Newspapers.
- Egg trays (paper).
- Kleister (water + flour).
- Cement + sand + water.
- Glue a moment.
- The board.
- Sandpaper.
- Primer.
- Enamel paints of different colors.
- Brushes.
- Decorative eyes.

I repeat, I have long wanted to make a gnome, but did not know how to make it. And so I began to fantasize, to look for ways to make my little dream come true. Dwarf I will have from plastic bottle... First, I cut off the bottom of it.

From bottom to top, from opposite sides in the middle of the bottle, I made cuts of the same length, then at the top I made small cuts to the right and to the left. These will be the legs. In order to fix them, I wrapped them with tape.

Next, I needed plastic bag... I rolled it into a ball and glued it to the top of the bottle so that the neck was inside the ball, I fixed it all with scotch tape. It turned out to be a head.

I made hands from the newspaper. I just folded the newspaper into a tube and attached it with tape in the right place, I also made a second hand.

I also needed a newspaper for pasting the frame. Having picked up small pieces of newspaper, I dipped them in paste and glued them to the body of the gnome. Yes, I almost forgot, the hole that turned out between my legs, I first sealed with strips of tape, and then pasted it over with paper.

The next step was the cap. It was also made of paper. I folded the newspaper into a bag, folded up the uneven edges, secured it with tape and glued it to my head. I also pasted it over with a newspaper.

Then I took paper egg trays, tore them into small pieces and poured boiling water over them. Left to soak for a day.

When the paper swelled, I proceeded to further work. I welded the paste again, and dipping pieces of paper into it, I began to shape the soles of my feet. It is better to do this on a smooth board.

I installed a gnome on my feet and also with the help of this paper I gave shape to the legs. I left the craft to dry for a while.

Then I pasted over the whole figure using the same technology. Also, the arms of the figure turned out to be long, so I shortened them a little.

In general, I wanted to make a gnome only with the help of such paper, but it turned out to be bumpy and I did not like it, and in terms of weight it turned out to be light. So that this stage, probably, could be skipped, but everything is learned in the work. (Although, if you grind the soaked pieces of paper, for example, using a blender, then this material could bring the gnome to mind.) In the end, I decided to apply a cement mortar on it, to give the necessary shapes on the face and body, as well as for weighting the gnome. On uneven lines, for smoothness, I walked with a damp brush. After a satisfactory result, I left the craft to dry for three days. Here's what happened.

First, I sanded the whole figure, covered it with a primer and, only then, painted it with oil paints. Since I am not an artist, and I had difficulty drawing eyes, I decided to stick decorative eyes(from old soft toys). Voila my garden gnome ready.

In general, there is where to show your imagination. For example, insert some object into your hand - a flower, a flashlight, a bucket, or put a gnome on a bench. But, since this is my first job, I decided to make the craft easier. I hope you enjoyed my garden gnome. I would be glad if someone was inspired to creative work... Goodbye, see you soon.

Tasks: improve paper handling skills; develop attention, hearing, speech and hand motor skills; cultivate a desire to create with your own hands, a love of fairy tales.

Participants: educator, parents, children.

To make crafts using the origami technique, you will need materials: thick cardboard, corrugated paper of blue color, scissors with blunt ends, sheets of colored, white, tinted double-sided green paper, glue stick, stapler for joining parts, foil or tinsel, stickers.

Origami rules:
1. The workpieces must be exactly square.
2. The craft paper should be thin, elastic, bend well, and colored.
3. Display of handicraft making should be done on a flat table surface.
4. Learning should be phased: showing one technique shows, then the child performs.
5. The fold lines should be ironed carefully by hand.
6. The alignment of corners and sides during folding must be accurate.
7. After the toy is completely ready, it is helpful to repeat the folding techniques. As a result, the child will learn how to fold the craft on his own from start to finish.

Stages of work:

1. Gnome's hat... Take a sheet of colored single-sided paper measuring 10 by 10 cm. Fold two adjacent sides 1-1.5 cm wide and the corner opposite to these sides to the center.

2. Turn the workpiece over reverse side... Fold back the side corners, forming the conical cap of the Gnome.

3. At the resulting white triangle ("the face of the gnome"), turn the corner from below to the wrong side.

4. You can make an acute-angled cap like in the photo.

5. There are different options for the Gnome's hat.

6. The body of the Gnome. Take a square 4-5 cm wider than the first. (see point 1) Bend the opposite edges of the sheet - narrow strips 1-1.5 cm wide towards the middle.

7. Bend the workpiece in half.

8. Bend the edges of the workpiece to the middle again (along the fold line).

9. Unbend inner corners on one side (like a turn-down collar of a jacket).

10. Bend the resulting workpiece in half. It turned out to be a gnome's clothes - a jacket and pants.

11. It remains to attach the head to the body, glue or draw the details of the face. Complete the silhouette with specifying details (scarf, mittens, boots).

12. Here are such funny Gnomes!

13. Origami Christmas tree. Take 6 squares 10 cm wide.

14. Bend the workpieces diagonally.

15. Bend the edges of the three triangular blanks along the central axis.

16. Glue the folded workpiece to the triangle. This is the top tier of the herringbone.

17. Glue the second middle tier of the herringbone.

18. Then glue the lower tier. The origami Christmas tree is ready!

19. Now we begin to invent a fairy tale for the Dwarfs. Glue the figures of the gnomes and the Christmas tree on cardboard covered with blue corrugated paper.

20. Supplement voluminous craft decorative details: snowflakes, stickers, applique or drawings.

This craft with Gnomes pleases both children and adults!

The gnome is very small
But on the other hand, he is smart!
Smiles playfully;
Smart, kind and handsome!

The gnome is a wonder of wonders!
His house is a forest.
The gnome is not afraid;
The dwarf is brave!

The hat is red on him -
Shines at night, shines during the day.
All so funny, -
Small and nice!

21. Similarly, you can make a plot application for the fairy tale "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".

22. Gnomes can be "lodged" in a theater or a painted fairy tale.

23. Children themselves can draw furniture, decorations, a house, gifts, etc. for the Dwarfs. And even an ice castle ...
