In stores today you can find New Year cards for every taste. But the editorial website believes that homemade ones are much warmer. After all, when we make a thing for someone with our own hands, we put our love into it.

Below we have collected ideas for beautiful, original and, most importantly, “quick” New Year cards, the creation of which does not require any rare materials - beautiful paper, cardboard, and colorful ribbons and buttons lying around the house.

Volumetric Christmas trees

Volumetric Christmas trees made of white and colored paper are so simple to make that you can make them at the last moment. Read more on the Bog&ide blog.

Make 3D Christmas trees even faster. All you need is a ruler, sharp scissors and cardboard. This blog shows how to cut them.

Penguin

We really liked this penguin, well thought out. You will need black and white cardboard (or white paper), an orange paper triangle, and 2 miniature snowflakes that we all know how to cut out. The eyes are, of course, the highlight of the postcard, and you will have to look into the hobby store for them (or tear them off an unnecessary children's toy, with the consent of the children, of course).

gifts

For this cute and simple postcard, you need 2 sheets of cardboard, a ruler, scissors and glue. Also pieces wrapping paper, which you have left from gift wrapping, ribbons and ribbons. The manufacturing principle is very simple, but for those who want more details, we advise you to look at this blog.

Santa Claus

A friendly Santa Claus (or Santa Claus) can be made in just half an hour. The red hat and pink face are strips of paper pasted onto a card or gift bag. Fur hats and beards are obtained as follows: you need to take drawing paper and simply tear off the strips of the desired shape to get jagged edges. Stick on a postcard over the red and pink stripes. And then draw two squiggles - a mouth and a nose - and two dots - eyes.

simple drawings

Irresistible in its elegance, the idea is to draw with a black gel pen Christmas balls with patterns. The main thing here is to draw the correct circles and mark the lines for the patterns. Everything else will not be difficult - the stripes and squiggles that you draw when you are bored.

The same principle that underlies the postcard with black and white balloons. Simple silhouettes, painted with simple patterns, this time in color - this is best done with felt-tip pens. Warm and very nice.

Lots and lots of different trees

A couple more ideas from the Bog&ide blog. For the first, you will need decorative tape or colored cardboard (with or without glitter - now you can easily buy these at the stationery store or hobby stores). For the second - elegant straws for drinks and good glue.

Here you can use paper or cardboard with a pattern left over from children's crafts, or wrapping paper for gifts. Christmas trees are sewn in the center - this is not necessary at all, you can glue them. But if you really want to, then you must first make holes with a thick needle along the ruler, and then sew with a thread in 2 rows - up and down, so that there are no gaps. Draw a snowball with white gouache.

Laconic and stylish idea- a grove of Christmas trees, one of which is glued to a foamed double-sided tape (and therefore rises above the rest) and decorated with a star.

For this card, you need 4 or 3 layers of cardboard (you can do without red). As a color layer, you can use not cardboard, but paper. In the top, white, carve a herringbone (does it well stationery knife) and stick it on double-sided tape for volume.

A round dance of Christmas trees from various remnants of cardboard, scrapbooking paper, wrapping paper is tied with a simple ribbon and decorated with a button. Try playing with colors and textures - you can find an incredible number of options here using different color ribbons, paper and even fabric.

Wonderful watercolor so in the spirit of the New Year and Christmas! A simple watercolor sketch is within the power of everyone, even those who last painted with paints in school years. First you need to outline the patterns with a pencil, color them in, and when it dries, gently wipe the pencil sketches and supplement the patterns with a felt-tip pen.

Winter landscape

For this postcard, it is better to use structured cardboard, or you can get by with plain, smooth cardboard - it will still turn out spectacularly. Cut out the snow landscape and moon with sharp scissors and paste onto a black or navy blue background.

Another white and green variant of the winter landscape that will take a little more time. If you find velvety cardboard (remember, crafts were made from this at school), it will be great, if not, you can just paint the Christmas trees with a felt-tip pen. Snow - Styrofoam disassembled into peas. You can also make circles out of cardboard with a hole punch and glue them to the postcard.

hugging snowman

The author of the My kid craft blog made this snowman with her children. The snowman throws up his hands happily when the card is opened. Wishes can be written inside. It will be interesting for children to make an application (and paint their hands and a hat), but for those who want everything to be fast, the blog has ready-made parts that can be printed on a color printer and simply glued together.

More snowmen

Snowmen, inquisitively peering into the starry sky, will look more advantageous if they can find a bright ribbon for a scarf.

For the postcard on the left you need unpainted cardboard, white drawing paper and foam tape with which you will stick the snowman. Snowdrifts are made simply: you need to tear off the drawing paper so that you get a ragged wavy edge. Fill it in with a blue pencil and blend it with anything, even with a finger or a piece of paper. Also tint the edges of the snowman for volume. For the second you will need buttons, a piece of fabric, eyes, glue and colored markers.

You will want to keep such a postcard for a long time. And all you need is circles of cardboard, a nose and twigs of colored paper. All this must be collected using double-sided bulk tape. Draw eyes and buttons with black paint, and a snowball with white gouache or watercolor.

Balloons

Balls are one of the main symbols of the New Year and Christmas. These are made from velvety colored paper and ribbons. But balls are such a win-win option that you can afford to fantasize here: make balls from patterned paper, wrapping paper, fabric, lace, cut out from a newspaper or a glossy magazine. And the strings can simply be drawn.

Another option is to stick paper with a pattern on the inside of the card, and cut out circles on the outside with a sharp stationery knife.

Volume balls

For each of these balls, you will need 3-4 identical circles of different colors. Fold each in half and glue the halves to each other, and the two extreme halves to the paper. Another option is colored stars or Christmas trees.

colorful balls

Wonderful translucent balls are obtained using a regular pencil eraser. It is worth to begin with to outline the outlines of the ball with a pencil. Then dip the eraser into the paint and leave marks on the paper. Fun and beautiful.

Postcards with buttons

Bright buttons will add volume to postcards, as well as evoke subtle associations with childhood.

Children are very fond of making something with their own hands before the New Year, in no case should you deprive them of this joy. In this master class, I will show 10 options for how to make DIY New Year cards with step by step photos. These unique postcards New Year will be a wonderful gift for grandma, grandpa, mom, dad and friends.

Today on the Internet you can find all sorts of congratulatory miniatures, emoticons and incredible masterpieces that can be sent to anyone by e-mail. Even words do not need to be invented, any phrase can simply be copied. But can this be compared with a handmade postcard, will the image on the flickering cold screen of the monitor have such positive energy?

How to make postcards for the New Year with your own hands

New Year card with yellow pig for New Year 2019

By the New Year 2019, we suggest you make a non-standard postcard with your own hands. It is unusual in that it depicts a cute muzzle of a pig, and this animal is yellow color. You should not be surprised at this turn, because a new era is coming, albeit a short one - the year of the yellow pig.

Very soon, a good friend of man, a devoted and cheerful dog will be replaced by a wise and generous pig. At all times, this animal was known as an indicator of prosperity; it is not for nothing that even piggy banks are depicted in the form of a pig. We will not depict the entire figure on cardboard, but we will make only her head. The round piece will become the center piece.

What you need to prepare for the craft:

  • thick cardboard of any color;
  • yellow plasticine;
  • additionally other colors for making all parts of the animal's muzzle, for New Year's decoration, for an inscription.

Prepare green (or another color) cardboard for the base, you can cut off the edges roundly. And also knead the yellow plasticine in your hands. Of course, the pig can be made more traditional - pink, but yellow is more suitable for a real symbol.

Press the yellow ball to the center of the cardboard and press firmly with the palm of your hand. Next, press down with your fingers over the entire surface and smooth. Thus, a round cake will appear in front of you, which will subsequently become the head of a pig. You will not only deform the ball to the desired round shape, but also press the main part to the base.

Start turning the cake into the head of the planned animal. For now, use the same yellow plasticine. Attach a small circle to later get a piglet. Make pointed ears and attach from above to the head

Take a thin red strip and stick it under the snout as a smiling mouth. Use pink dots to add cheeks and nostrils.

Add eyes. Pigs are usually depicted as blue-eyed. We can also do this. Use small white and blue dots. Glue our eyebrows above the eyes.

Now you need to decorate your craft so that it really looks like a New Year's one. It is not yet clear why such a copy is shown in front of us. Make many small plasticine beads of different colors to create garlands.

Bright tinsel sparkles under the ceiling in decorated halls and rooms. We also need to create a similar festive atmosphere.

Collect small balls into thin threads, attach them to the cardboard at the top. Make some colorful stripes.

And one more touch is the inscription "Happy New Year!". It can be written with a marker, but it is better to glue it after completing all the letters from plasticine so as not to disturb the overall ensemble. Paste the words on the top, bottom, or sides, anywhere you like.

Glue also small balls, pressing each with your finger against the cardboard to simulate scattering of confetti. Now we have a real New Year's card, from the canvas of which a smiling and positive muzzle of a symbolic pig looks.

Craft for the New Year with a Christmas tree made of ribbons

This lesson shows how to make a New Year's greeting card with your own hands with the children. It will be based on cardboard, and the Christmas tree will be depicted in the picture, more precisely, its imitation - a green triangle, decorated with green and white satin ribbon, bright adhesive-backed rhinestones. If you like this version of a New Year's gift, consider what you need to make it, how to make it.

To complete the festive New Year's crafts proposed in this lesson, the following were used:

  • white and green cardboard;
  • scissors;
  • colorful stripes corrugated paper;
  • glue;
  • satin ribbon 0.5 cm wide white and green;
  • red round rhinestones;
  • rhinestones in the form of a flower - 1 piece for the top;
  • foil;
  • white lace;
  • plastic bow with rhinestones;
  • black pen;
  • orange colored paper.

As you can see, the list of materials includes a lot of items, but there are no exclusive or expensive ones. In addition, some of them can be completely replaced. For example, green and white cardboard will be needed to create a background and a triangular copy of the Christmas tree, but colors may vary.

Corrugated paper strips are needed in order to make a striped bright cover, fabric or ribbons are suitable instead, you can also come up with another Christmas tree decoration together with rhinestones and so on. So, first of all, cut out 2 rectangles from green and white paper, and the size of the second blank should be slightly smaller than the first.

Cut the crepe paper into strips of arbitrary length and width. Cut out some foil stars (or candy wrappers).

Stick the strips on the top layer - white cardboard. Make a fun, vibrant cover by applying stripes along the length. Glue the ends of the strips at the back. Glue the entire structure onto green paper. The background for the postcard is ready.

Add a strip of white lace at the bottom, bringing the ends under the top layer of paper. Cut out a triangle for the Christmas tree from green cardboard.

Wrap a white ribbon randomly around the triangle (glue the ends at the back).

Then add the green ribbon in the same way.

Glue the resulting Christmas tree in the center. Decorate with rhinestones and a bright top. Glue foil stars around the Christmas tree.

On a bright orange paper cutout, write “Happy New Year” with a pen and glue at the bottom - under the lace, add a bow.

A bright handmade congratulation is ready.

3D format is very popular in the modern world. You can apply it to a paper postcard. To do this, you just need to take a few decorative elements and stick them on a white base.

The main decoration will be a paper figurine, for example, an angel. A similar image, suitable for the New Year theme, can be found in any magazine. Cut it out with scissors, and the central part of the craft is ready.

Materials:

  • A5 paper - 1 sheet;
  • sequins;
  • silicone glue;
  • paper figurine of an angel;
  • double sided tape.

Crafting Instructions

Fold a piece of white paper in half. It can be a regular landscape sheet or cardboard for creativity.

Cut off small pieces of double sided tape. We stick them on a paper base in the place of the alleged location of the angel.

Remove the top protective layer from the pieces of adhesive tape.

Glue the paper figure of an angel on double-sided tape.

Another piece of tape will be needed to attach the snowflake. We glue it on a free area of \u200b\u200bthe sheet.

Cut out from ordinary white paper big snowflake. It should have an empty center. We apply it to the workpiece so that a piece of adhesive tape is in the central hole. Glue a sequin in the form of a snowflake on top. Thus, both snowflakes will be fixed on paper.

With silicone glue, draw abstract stripes on paper.

We lay out sequins of different colors along the strips of glue.

On the remaining empty areas of paper, glue single sequins. We arrange them without a specific system or put them into patterns.

All decorative elements protrude above the surface of the paper. They are convex and have different thicknesses. Thanks to this, the craft as a whole turns out to be voluminous and unusual.

A plasticine flat image of a Christmas ball glued to cardboard will look like a three-dimensional 3D postcard of the New Year theme. Even using plasticine, the ball can be neatly decorated, make an interesting drawing on it, get a unique gift or holiday decor item.

Before buying ready-made postcards in the store, try to make something with your own hands. The plasticine version can be made with the children. You will have a wonderful hand-painted souvenir in your hands.

To create a beautiful New Year's craft with a plasticine pattern, prepare:

  • bright red cardboard;
  • several pieces of plasticine of different sizes and colors to complete the body of the ball itself and the tail, decor, bow, as well as the green Christmas tree branch on which this ball is attached;
  • thin needle or stick.

It is the bright base in the form of thick cardboard that will set the character of the entire product. A beautiful ball on an expressive background will be favorably emphasized, will not get lost, but will sparkle with new colors, so take the most bright color from the set. To create a New Year's image in the form of a ball, knead a few pieces of plasticine in your hands.

Selected color in most knead in your hands, make a round flat cake. Glue as the body of the Christmas ball on the cardboard. At the top, glue a small loop with which the ball is attached to a spruce branch (it can be made from plasticine of a different color).

Pull a piece of blue plasticine into a thin thread, make small peas from the white mass. All these details will be used to further decorate the ball. An interesting ornament is to be created.

Glue a path of two blue plasticine threads in the center across the body of the ball. Between them, place white balls in a row.

Every little dot white color pierce needles or sticks with the point to make an interesting visual effect.

Prepare an additional yellow sausage by pressing the segments with your fingers at equal distances from each other, make a zigzag. Glue 2 zigzag strips at the top and bottom. Between the corners, also glue the white balls that are left over from the previous operation.

A beautiful bright yellow bow will also fit perfectly into the overall ensemble. Make a decoration with loops and ponytails, glue the ball itself to the loop.

It is advisable to arrange a large central pattern so that there is still room for a spruce branch at the top. The ball should be suspended from it. Make an oblong green flatbread.

Glue at the top of the picture, adjacent to the top loop. Make needles on the Christmas tree using the same thin stick. Now the product looks really like a living, voluminous application.

After the lesson, you will see that making New Year's gifts with your own hands is much more interesting than just going around the shops in search of ready-made products. And the kids will definitely love this.

New Year's card in scrapbooking technique

You will get an elegant and unusual craft if you buy designer paper and use it for needlework. Today on sale you can find all kinds of materials for creativity: foil, paper in the form of a leather texture, sheets with colored ornaments and much more. And you also need to be prepared for the fact that when creating it, you can use not only paper, but also other materials, for example, ribbons, rhinestones, bright floss threads, chains, and so on.

A simple version of a scrapbooking postcard is presented in this tutorial. What is needed to complete it? This is a limited list, but you can easily expand it.

To create a New Year's card, the following materials are suitable:

  • designer cardboard, the texture of which resembles green leather;
  • design paper of three types with different patterns;
  • cardboard with a shiny foil coating;
  • rhinestones of different sizes, but the same color and shape;
  • thin green satin ribbon;
  • Velcro sticker with New Year's inscription;
  • small pebble for a bow.

Paper Tools:

  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • scissors;
  • glue.

Plain colored paper or cardboard will also work, but foil and leather-like sheets look very interesting. From the prepared sheets, you need to cut 2 layers of a rectangular shape, and then put them together. Glue the rectangles on top of each other.

Make the foil the bottom layer, the green skin the top. Using a ruler and pencil, draw sketches of rectangles on the sheets, then cut them out along the contour. It is necessary to make sure that the silvery part peeks out from under the green textured one. The size of the rectangle of the bottom layer needs to be done a little bigger size(with launches on the sides of about 0.5 cm).

Glue the flags on the top green paper. These decor items are often used to decorate halls, houses, shops, apartments for the New Year holidays. Cut out 3 flags different lengths from colored design paper with a pattern. Stick the parts hardly, their length will gradually decrease.

Cut a strip from a thin green ribbon of satin texture, the length of which, with small starts, is equal to the width of the upper green rectangle. In the upper part (where the flags are located), glue a smooth satin line. Bring the ends back, after dripping with glue.

In order not to write the inscription "Happy New Year!" on your own, buy a sheet of themed stickers. Take a suitable Velcro sticker and add to the free space. Glue a bow with a pebble to the ribbon.

And the last sparkling touch - rhinestones. If they gradually decrease in size, then in general the craft will look stylish.

If creative inspiration strikes you, then you can easily make beautiful gift anyone close to the New Year. The main thing is to choose materials that will look elegant on their own.

Christmas tree option

With a plasticine snowflake

An interesting handmade postcard will become unusual craft filled with positive energy. Unique products are a gift for any occasion. But still I want to stick to the given topic. For example, if we are talking about the New Year, then it is better to depict some kind of winter ornament or figures suitable for the holiday.

In this master class, a variation of the New Year's card from plasticine with the image of a snowflake is shown. And this snowflake does not have to be white, as we are used to. If we make it green, then it will look very much like a Christmas tree - the central object of a fabulous winter holiday.

Are you interested in this craft? Do you want to repeat this New Year's crafts with a plasticine snowflake with the children? This tutorial is here to help everyone. The central object of the application - a snowflake - can be made separately if you wish.

Materials needed for winter creativity:

  • canvas-cardboard;
  • mass for drawing a picture - plasticine;
  • decoration - rhinestones;
  • a tool for drawing relief lines - a stack or a toothpick.

Since we planned to create a green snowflake - the central element of the card, we need to choose some kind of bright background that blends beautifully with this color. For example, red cardboard is suitable. It just needs to be cut off from a large sheet.

You can also use scrapbooking paper with a monotonous, unobtrusive pattern, a white base, or your own hand-painted paper. A green snowflake must be supplemented with some other color, for example, white, in order to create a pattern on the figure.

Soften the green plasticine in your hands, press down on top. You can immediately press the mass with your palm to the surface in the central part. Now the resulting cake needs to be turned into a snowflake.

First, carefully cut out the star with 6 rays. Draw a sketch with the tip of a toothpick to get a smooth and beautiful result. Then cut off all unnecessary along the indicated line, pressing harder.

Using the same tool or stack, make the rays of the snowflake sharper, more carved. Press the plasticine in the right places in the same way.

Make a thin white pattern on the surface of the green blank. Glue a white thin thread along each ray, place the petals in the form of a flower in the center.

Glue a sparkling crystal in the middle, press it tightly into the plasticine. Press down on each petal with a toothpick.

Decorate the rays with small grains, pushing each with a point.

Now write congratulatory phrase"Happy New Year!". Since the image on the cardboard is plasticine, it is better to make the inscription from thin threads of bright color.

Add a glowing effect by distributing small green segments between the rays.

Postcard "Happy New Year!" ready, it turned out bright and thematic.

In winter, when there is frost and a snowstorm outside the window, you want warmth and comfort. Everything should be warm and cozy at this time of the year, including New Year's crafts. Don't believe? Then we offer you the idea of creating a beautiful New Year's card with a decor in the form of a mitten, which will undoubtedly cheer up those who receive it during the holidays.

To make this “cozy” masterpiece, you need: colored cardboard and colored paper, multi-colored cardboard (you can also use it instead bright paper for gift wrapping), bright threads, glue, scissors and a hole punch.

The first step is the foundation. For her, we will use a sheet of white thick cardboard, folded in half. The interior decoration (the so-called "wishes box") is two rectangles of colored paper, slightly smaller than the postcard itself.

We carefully glue them inside the product. On the outer front side, glue a rectangle of cardboard of the same size and shade.

On the reverse side of multi-colored cardboard (or gift wrapping paper) we draw a mitten of the appropriate shape.

We seal its upper edge from the “wrong side” with a strip of cardboard and make a series of holes in it with a hole punch.

To decorate the mittens, we will use threads. First you need to connect the threads from different coils into one and cut into strips of 12-15 cm.

To attach the threads to the mitten, fold the strip in half, thread it through the hole and make a loop. So we decorate all the holes of the mittens.

Lubricate reverse side mittens with glue (we pay special attention to the part where the threads are threaded) and glue it to the front part.

A beautiful postcard with a decor in the form of a mitten is ready. Warmth and comfort in winter days!

New Year's cards have already gone digital for many. They are sent via email or smartphones. But the paper version still retains its unique charm. If you want to surprise the recipient doubly, then a paper postcard, like new year gift, it is preferable to do it yourself.

Necessary materials:

  • Cardboard (thick paper);
  • Colored paper, you will need three colors;

To create this postcard, you will need to build an iris template, it will be built on the basis of an isosceles triangle with a base 14 cm long and a height drawn to the base equal to 16 cm. Take a rotation step of 1 cm. Dimensions can be changed as you wish.

Step 1. Cut strips from colored paper. We make the width of the strip twice as large as the step and add an allowance of up to 4 mm. Thus, for this postcard, we cut out strips with a width of 22-24 mm. Make the first strips a little wider, as they will have to cover the contours of the Christmas tree. There will be a lot of prepared strips, so cut them as you create the postcard.

Step 2. Fold the cut strips in half.

Step 3. Take the paper Brown color and cut out 5 strips (preferably a different shade of brown) measuring 35 by 20 mm. We also fold these strips in half.

Step 4. We draw a silhouette of a Christmas tree on thick cardboard and cut it out very carefully (you can use a stationery knife). We make an iris template or print out the finished one.

Step 5 We attach the prepared template from the wrong side of the cardboard with paper clips. It's okay if the silhouette of the Christmas tree is more than a template. Next we will work from the wrong side.

Step 6. Filling the barrel. We begin to glue the prepared brown strips. To do this, glue the strip on the right side of the slot with glue and glue it so that the fold of the cut strip falls on the template line. Next, grease the cardboard top and bottom as well as the first strip and glue the second strip.

Step 8. Glue the largest strip of the first color at the beginning of the template, try to match the fold with the line on the template.

Step 9. Glue the second large strip of the second color on the opposite side of the template.

Step 10. Glue the next large strip of the third color along the bottom edge of the template.

Step 11 Very carefully glue the next strip of the first color near the first strip of the same color. Glue use very carefully, only putting small dots.

At first glance, it may seem that a postcard is the most banal way to wish a person a Happy New Year. Most often, a postcard is an addition to the main gift. But with all our desire, it is not always possible to buy full-fledged gifts for absolutely all our relatives and friends. And here a postcard will always come to the rescue! But so that the recipient does not feel deprived of your attention, let's learn how to make New Year's cards with our own hands. Consider such options that all novice cardmakers can do.

And first, let's get acquainted with the basic rules for creating postcards.

Basic rules for creating postcards with your own hands

  • Any, including New Year's cards handmade should be initially thought out in terms of composition.
  • First, make a draft version of the postcard, and then transfer it to the “clean copy”. Prepare all the necessary elements, arrange them in the order that you like, and only then can you stick.
  • When choosing a design for a postcard, pay attention to the interests of the addressee: what colors he likes best, what exactly he prefers.
  • There should be no handwriting on the front of the postcard unless you can boast of perfectly beautiful handwriting. Inscriptions are best done using special stamps or cut out finished letters or words from decorative paper.
  • Wishes and congratulations are best written inside the postcard, so be sure to leave space for this.
  • When creating a handmade postcard, first of all, be careful! Even a drop of spilled glue can ruin an entire appearance, so if the error can not be corrected in any way, it is better to redo everything again.
  • Quality materials and tools are the key to your success. Make a list of everything you need, this will save you from unnecessary expenses and will not allow you to forget anything.
  • In creating a postcard, any little thing can come in handy, even one that at first glance is not needed at all. For example, all kinds of ribbons and tags, buttons and bows, ropes and scraps of fabric, pieces of paper, beads and more.
  • Show your imagination, experiment! And if at first it’s difficult for you to come up with something of your own, use ready-made templates.

And since we are talking about the materials and templates used, we classify postcards according to this principle.

Holiday postcards from buttons

Buttons have long been one of the favorite materials of all needlewomen, regardless of the type of creativity. And cardmaking is no exception.

Decorating postcards with buttons is quite simple: just stick them on double-sided tape. If you need an imitation of a sewn on button, then first sew the stitches, and then glue the button to the postcard.

And now look at some ready-made postcards, choose your favorite templates and create!

For the manufacture of the postcard, decorative paper, buttons of red and green shades, a scrapbooking stamp with a set of letters were used:

To make such a postcard, you will need 3-4 types of decorative paper, buttons of various shades of green, an asterisk-shaped button and a scrapbooking stamp with a ready-made congratulatory text.

For these New Year's cards, 1-2 types of paper are enough (you can get by with ordinary white cardboard), a black gel pen, watercolors, multi-colored buttons and a few glue strands.

Each of these cards uses 3 types of paper (colored cardboard, scrapbooking paper, corrugated cardboard), 3 triangular buttons and decorative ribbon:

The creator of this postcard, Masha Minaeva, used a blank for a white cardboard postcard and 2 more types of scrapbooking paper; buttons different sizes; a figured hole punch imitating lace (you can do without it, or you can use curly scissors instead of a hole punch); some lace trim; raffia (natural beige fibers from palm leaves) and a red bell.

Sheets of paper can be stitched manually
or at sewing machine regular stitch or ziz-zag.

Figured hole punch to simulate a lace edge on paper

To make this beautiful New Year's card with your own hands, you have to try, but it's worth it! The main difficulty lies in cutting out the silhouette of a Christmas tree from cardboard. First, lay out the buttons and glue rhinestones on paper in the right order, then carefully trace the outline with a simple pencil. In order to get even circles, use a compass. Having made a blank in the form of a Christmas tree on a draft, cut it out and transfer the image to a sheet of decorative paper.

Then everything is simple: the base of the postcard consists of 2 types of paper, interconnected by a machine line. Buttons and rhinestones are glued to the Christmas tree blank, which in turn is glued to the base for the postcard. The inscription can be done with a stamp or beautifully written "by hand".

Cards with halves of pearl beads

Half beads are quite often used in scrapbooking, including for decorating postcards and albums. They are in the form of droplets, hearts, "rice", but more often they look like halves of pearls:

The colors and sizes of half beads are very different.

With the help of such inexpensive semi-pearls, you can make very beautiful New Year cards!

Colored cardboard, narrow and wide satin ribbon and half-beads of different diameters work wonders:

If you manage to find decorative paper with a contour drawing of a Christmas tree, then you can easily make such an elegant postcard:

The contour of the Christmas tree can be drawn with a gel pen or a thin brush and paints, or you can use a ready-made stamp and colored ink:

PVA glue and decorative glitter turn ordinary white cardboard into beautiful paper for creativity! Add to them a few plain or multi-colored half beads and the original New Year's card is ready!

And this postcard is a great example of how to harmoniously combine half-beads of bright colors with each other:

To make the Christmas trees the same, make a template from thick paper. Apply gouache or watercolors with a sponge, allowing the previous color to dry beforehand.

Christmas cards with paper Christmas trees

The presence of a green beauty on a New Year's card is quite justified, so we will continue to develop this topic) Paper Christmas trees on postcards can be quite primitive or, on the contrary, very intricate and even unusual.

Such simple Christmas trees even a child can cut out of paper. You can stick them on the base for a postcard made from scrap paper using thick double-sided tape, then the postcard will look more voluminous.

Alternatively, the Christmas tree can be sewn directly to the postcard, it also turns out quite interesting:

To create this postcard, almost all the ideas described above were used: 2 types of paper are sewn with a zig-zag stitch, the tree is cut out of paper (pay attention to the interesting silhouette!), And darkened along the edges with ink using an ink pad, as Christmas decorations the same buttons protrude, the inscription is made with a stamp (or it can be printed, cut out and toned), sequins in the form of stars and ordinary twine are used as additional decorative elements. Nothing complicated, but it looks very worthy!

Postcards with snowflakes

Snowflakes are another essential attribute of winter, so why not use them when creating New Year's cards with your own hands?

The easiest way to create snowflakes is to use a figured hole punch. They are completely different, you can buy 1 or 2:

This postcard uses ready-made sequin snowflakes, a paper snowflake made with a hole punch, buttons, some felt and decorative paper.

The highlight of this New Year's card is definitely the Christmas trees, but look how beautifully snowflakes fit into the design, tinted around the edges with brown ink!

A creative Christmas tree made of colored pencils sits comfortably against a background strewn with paper snowflakes:

And again assorted) This time, paper snowflakes were added to paper, buttons, twine and semi-pearls!

More experienced craftswomen can make a truly "snowy", airy and elegant New Year's card.

After all, even your child can easily figure it out and create a wonderful New Year's product with their own hands in a couple of hours. To do this, it is recommended to purchase a ready-made quilling kit at a stationery store or take colored paper and cut it into thin long strips. After that, you should start your creativity.

  5. Having prepared all the details of Santa Claus, a deer and a gift, we attach them with PVA glue to our sketch, alternating colors in such an order that it turns out as in the photo.
  6. The eyes and antlers of a deer must be cut out of white and black paper, as these are small parts of the drawing and it will be difficult to make them using quilling. Although, if you try, everything is possible.
  7. You can create the general background of the postcard through your imagination. To do this, it is advisable to use glitter, PVA glue (original snowflakes are obtained from it, complemented by sparkles or rhinestones), acrylic paint or gouache.
