DIY sock snowman. DIY toys from nylon tights Snowmen from tights

Climax

Nylon tights are a versatile material for creativity - toys, rugs and many other crafts are made of them. Moreover, in a house where there is at least one woman, there should be more than one pair of worn-out tights.

To create toys from stockings or tights, you do not need to have skills and special skills and use additional tools. Everything is extremely simple and clear, all work can be done by hand.

Tumbler doll (video)

From worn-out colored stockings or tights, you can make a charming snake with your own hands. To create it, you need to prepare:

  • nylon colored tights;
  • scissors;
  • acrylic paints;
  • padding polyester sheets;
  • three-core wire - 1 m;
  • nippers;
  • needle and thread;
  • beads for decoration.

It is advisable to have several pairs of tights of the same color in stock. You can not adhere to the sizes indicated in the master class and stick to your parameters, this will not make the snake worse (Fig. 18).

First of all, you need to prepare the wire for work. Insulation is removed from it along the entire length with your own hands. For work, you need only two wires out of three, they need to be twisted. If you use all three cores at once, toys based on them will be even stronger.

A sheet of padding polyester should be cut into narrow strips up to 2-3 cm wide and wrapped around the wire as tightly as possible. The most economical option would be to wind the wire with cheaper foam rubber, and then with a padding polyester (19). When folding the snake, the layers must be carefully wrapped so that wrinkles do not form during the twisting of the craft.

The next step is to attach a holofiber to the area of the snake's head with your own hands, from which the ball is formed. Before you start pulling nylon tights over the frame, you must first carefully level the turns of the padding polyester so that they are not visible (20).

On the tail, the stocking is neatly pulled, in the center of the carcass it is necessary to pull the excess sections of the pantyhose and sew them up. It will be more convenient to sew up the craft if it is fixed with hairpins or safety pins.

The hole in the center of the head should be sewn up to become the mouth. You do not need to cut the thread. With your own hands, you need to make a tightening in such a way that the central part of the back of the head with the middle of the mouth is fixed. Later, this seam on nylon tights can be masked with woolen hairs. Before immersing the needle in the tights, it is necessary to carefully select the place where the tightening will be - the expression of the snake's face depends on this.

To make the snake more elegant, sequins or beads can be sewn along the entire length of its body. The eyes will need to be painted with acrylics.

Little mouse

Stuffed toys cannot look cute, especially if they are handmade. From nylon tights you can make a lot of interesting crafts, in particular toys (Fig. 20). For its manufacture, a minimum of materials is enough - padding, fabric for the nose, eyes, tights, threads.

The mouse head should be made of durable nylon; a strong stocking is well suited for this. It is packed immediately as tightly as possible. In parallel, you can stuff the nose of the stocking with padding polyester. The nose is sewn strictly in the center of the muzzle. As in the previous cases, you do not need to cut the thread. After it is brought out, you can sew a couple of stitches to create cheeks. If the stitches are correct, the snake will look very neat.

The next step is to flash the eye sockets. All this time, the stuffed stocking should not be tied - gradually more and more materials will be added to it, for a high density of children's toys. After the forehead is filled, you can start shaping the ears - also with the help of stitches.

In order for the ears of the craft to be upright, they can be made of wire, wrapped in tights. If desired, the muzzle can be supplemented with a mustache.

Thus, from a pair of old nylon tights, you can easily create funny toys with your own hands. Minimum time spent - maximum pleasure.

The long-awaited holiday of Christmas trees and bright lights is approaching, which means that the time has come to please yourself and the kids with magical creativity. Nothing delights like a miracle, created with your own hands. Moreover, if this miracle is made of old, unnecessary things with a minimum investment of time.

Material for making snowmen:

old white tights;
long white sock;
unnecessary socks (you can have holes, but always striped!);
synthetic winterizer for filling;
some rice cereal;
beads for eyes, nose and buttons;
scissors and thread with a needle;
a box in which the craft will "live";
great mood and little helpers.

Stages of making crafts

1. Cut off a suitable part from the tights without visible damage, holes, abrasions.

2. On one side of the segment, we will tie an ordinary sea knot.

3. We fill the resulting bag with padding polyester or other suitable material. At the very end, add a little rice cereal for the stability of the toy.

4. The resulting blank of the snowman is securely sewn up from the bottom. We put a snowman on and check how stable it is.

5. The turn has come to use striped socks. We cut off part of the strips together with the elastic and from the side of the cut we tie them with a string, previously cut off from the tights. The result is a cute striped beanie.

6. Cut out a striped scarf from the rest of the sock. You do not need to overcast it. The protruding threads will add a special mood.

7. Putting a hat on the snowman, we will clearly see where the neck should be. We drag this place with a strip from tights.

8. Tie a scarf around the snowman's neck.

9. Now you need to "revive" the craft. Sew on beads-eyes and nose. Don't forget about the buttons. If you are going to make a similar toy for a child under three years old, it is advisable not to sew on the beads. Eyes, nose and buttons can be embroidered with multi-colored threads.

10. By the same principle, we collect a baby snowman, only instead of tights it is better to take a long white sock.

On the eve of New Years, create an adorable snowman from scrap materials that I am sure can be found in every home.

You can put such a cute snowman under the tree, decorate the Christmas table with it, or give it to your loved ones as a small present.

1.Children's tights with lurex thread;
2. strong white threads;
3. sewing needle and bead embroidery needle;
4. fishing line;
5. decorative ribbon of olive shades 1 cm wide - about 1 meter;
6. 4 large white beads;
7.2 half beads;
8. large round bead;
9.Small red beads;
10. plastic snowflakes of different colors;
11. black, white and gray varnish;
12. a piece of red ribbon about 20 cm long;
13. white threads for knitting;
14. silver sequins;
15. a small piece of embroidered curtains;
16. cotton wool;
17. a piece of cardboard with dimensions of 10x10 cm;
18. PVA glue and Dragon glue;
19.thin wire.

Work process

Step 1: make balls from tights and cotton wool

We take children's tights and cut off one side of them: you should get one long golf course. We tie the end of the golf course with threads.

Roll a ball out of cotton wool and push it into the golf course. We tie a knot with threads, forming the first ball from golf and cotton wool. This will be the head of the snowman.

Again we take a piece of cotton wool approximately 2 times larger than the previous one and roll a ball out of it with our hands. Putting the ball into the golf. Tie the end of the golf course with threads. This will be the torso of the snowman.

We take a large piece of cotton wool and again twist a ball out of it. We make sure that this ball is the largest and, at the same time, harmoniously fits into the image of a snowman. We tie the end of the third ball with threads. This will be the bottom of the snowman.

Step 2: hem the snowman

Cutting off the bottom of the golf course. We sew the upper ball with the middle one with threads, forming a stable and symmetrical figure from the craft.

In the same way, with a needle and thread, we sew the middle ball with the lower one. You should have such a cute figure.

Step 3: making handles

From a thin wire we twist two identical pieces of about 10 cm long.Of course, you can take a thick wire, and then you no longer need to twist it, but just take 2 identical pieces of 10 cm each. But I only had a thin wire, and I twisted it in several layers.

Cut off two identical pieces of fabric from the tights along the length of the wire. Leave gaps on the fabric for hemming.

Fold the fabric in half with the wrong side up. We sew pieces of fabric with a needle and thread. At the bottom we narrow the seam, making it rounded. We turn the fabric over to the front side.

Take two long pieces of cotton wool and wrap them around the wire. Then we dip our palms in PVA glue and again twist the wire with cotton wool in our palms. After this procedure, the cotton wool will stick better to the wire.

We push the wire with cotton wool into the fabric blanks for the pens. We sew handles to the snowman. Thanks to the wire, we can fold the snowman's handles in any way that suits us.

Step 4: make the snowman face

Sew two white half-beads to the top ball of the snowman. Sew a large bead in the middle in the form of a spout. We sew the snowman's mouth with red beads, forming a smile.

We paint over the eyes and nose with black varnish. On the eyes we draw the iris with gray varnish, and on the nose we put a dot with white varnish, forming a glare.

On the eyes we put black dots in the middle - the pupils, and we put glare with white varnish.

Step 5: sew a hat

Cut off a piece of old curtains to the width of the snowman's head. Sew a decorative tape to the curtain.

Sew the fabric into a tube and cut off the excess. Sew the top of the fabric, forming a hat.

Take a white woolen thread and twist it between two fingers. Tie a knot in the middle and cut off the thread. Cut off the twisted threads at the ends and form a pompom from the craft. Using scissors, cut off the protruding and knocked-out threads from the pom-pom.

We sew a pom-pom to the hat and put it on the snowman.

Step 6: make a vest and decorate the middle

Cut off a piece of fabric with embroidery from the old curtains. The dimensions of the fabric should correspond to the width and length of the middle section of the snowman. We cut holes for the handles in the fabric.

We sew the fabric around the perimeter with decorative tape. Then we trim the holes for the handles with decorative tape.

Sew 4 large white beads in the center of the middle part of the snowman. We put on a vest on the snowman. With a needle and thread we sew the ends of the vest in the lower part in the middle.

We take a thin red ribbon and tie it around the snowman's neck 2 times. We tie the ends of the ribbon in the form of a tie.

Step 7: sew on the legs

Cut off two small identical pieces from a piece of tights. Fold them in half with the wrong side up and sew. Cut off the excess fabric.

Turn the stitched pieces face up. We twist two pieces of cotton wool in our fingers and put them inside the sewn bags. We sew the legs to the snowman.

Step 8: making the bottom

Cut a piece of 10x10 cm from a piece of cardboard. Using a glass or a bobbin for fishing line, draw a circle on the cardboard and cut it out.

We glue cotton wool on it over the entire area of the circle. We leave the craft for a while to dry.

Nicely we form a kind of "nest" for a snowman out of cotton wool. We glue the snowman to the cotton wool using Dragon glue.

Dip a thin brush in PVA glue. Then we dip the brush with glue in silver sparkles and cover all the protruding parts of the cotton with sparkles.

On the bottom of the snowman, glue plastic snowflakes of different colors.

Our snowman is ready!

snowman
Come on, buddy, bolder, buddy
Katie your snowball in the snow.
It will snowball
And it will become a lump of a snowman.
His smile is so bright!
Two eyes, hat, nose, broom.
But the sun will bake slightly -
Alas! - and there is no snowman.

V. Egorov

Target: make a gift, interior decoration with your own hands.
The master class will be of interest to educators, parents and teachers, everyone who is fond of needlework.
I was inspired by the picture among the illustrations on the New Year's theme. I decided to try to recreate what I saw, but it turned out to be a completely different snowman, but so dear (the stocking was mine). The toy is very funny: quite mobile, depending on how you turn it, the mood of the snowman also changes. The toy will definitely not leave children indifferent (checked), as a souvenir and for interior decoration for the new year, oh-oh-very useful.
To work you will need: golf or part of white tights (the less den, the better), synthetic winterizer or cotton wool, threads, a needle, scissors, rayon napkins or pieces of fabric that does not crumble, ready-made eyes or beads, a glue gun and ... good mood.

1. Take a white golf course and fill it with padding polyester, not very tight. You should get an oblong figure, tie a knot from the bottom. Cut the elastic band and cut it in half across

2.We make handles. Turn the halves of the elastic so that the seam is not visible, fill with padding polyester

3. Cut out mittens from napkins or fabric, sew a decorative seam and put on the handles

4.We take up the legs. Cut out the legs - legs from thick cardboard (rectangle 10 by 12 cm) and put the cardboard in a sewn cloth bag of the same shape and size

On the one hand, which was left unstitched, we put in a filler - synthetic winterizer and sew it up.

5. And now the most important thing - head. Form a head at the top of the golf course and pull with a string.

6. We cut a hat from the fabric to the size of the head (from a rectangle 20 by 15 cm), sew it and decorate it along the edge with a contrasting fabric and attach a bubo to the edge of the hat

Cut out the scarf

We fasten the hat and scarf

7. Sew on handles

from an orange napkin or cloth we sew a nose-carrot

8. Sew on the snowman's legs

Glue the eyes and embroider the mouth. The snowman is ready!

May the new year fulfill your most cherished desires!
