DIY paper flower ball. In order to make an origami flower ball, we will need. We create modules for making a ball

Pregnancy

The origami technique is multifaceted; it includes not only the folding of various models from a sheet of paper, but also modular figures, which involve the production of identical elements and their subsequent combination into one whole. It is by this principle that kusudama is made, which is the name given to flower balls created from individual elements.

The Japanese word "kusudama" translates to "medicine ball". Previously, the Japanese placed various medicinal herbs inside kusudama and stirred it over the patient’s bed. And these days these magic balls are used simply for decoration and decoration of rooms.

Kusudama - photos and diagrams of how to make

In this master class I will show 5 options - how to make kusudama from paper with step-by-step photographs with your own hands.

Openwork paper ball

These paper balls with a brush can be used for indoor decoration or hung on a Christmas tree. It all depends on your imagination. The openwork ball turns out to be very original and beautiful.

To create it you will need the following materials:

  • white stripes - 30 pieces (size 4.5x9 cm);
  • blue stripes - 30 pieces (size 4.5x9 cm);
  • PVA glue;
  • strong knitting thread.

Stages of work:

Take a blue strip of paper and fold it in half from left to right.

Then return to the starting position. Thus, the middle of the strip is visible.

Bend the upper left corner of the strip up to the middle.

Do the same with the second corner, that is, the right one. You just need to bend it from top to bottom.

Now bend the upper left corner down and the right corner up to the center line.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 again.

Now carefully unfold everything to the initial position of the leaf.

Take a white piece of paper and fold it in half.

Then step back about 0.5 - 0.7 mm down and bend again.

Carefully fold the leaf to the middle like an accordion.

At the end, there is no need to bend the corrugation one last time; there should be a protrusion.

Do the same with the second side of the workpiece. In the end it should look like this.

Now you need to bend the lower left and upper right corner.

From the reverse side the workpiece looks like this.

Then bend on both sides along the marked lines.

We bend the entire part along the lines of the blue blank. In the end it comes out like this.

The white center must be glued using PVA glue.

There should be 30 such blanks.

Now assembling the ball. Take one module and coat the pocket near the corrugation with glue.

Glue the second module in the same way as in the photo.

So glue 5 blanks together.

Continue gluing the side modules in a circle until a ball is formed.

At the end, make a brush and attach it to the ball.

This is such a beautiful and original openwork paper ball. It can be used simply for interior decoration.

In addition, this craft can be done with children and involve them in creativity.

Sonobe ball

This kusudama is perfect for a beginner. It consists of only 30 modules, which are very easy to fold.

To work, you will need 30 paper squares with a side of 8 to 10 cm. It is very convenient to use leaves from writing blocks, but you can cut squares from colored paper. In this version, 8.5 cm squares are taken in five different colors.

Let's start folding the module. Take a square of paper and fold it in half.

Unfold and fold the edges again towards the midline.

From opposite sides we bend the corners to the first horizontal line.

Bend the corners again.

Fold the sides towards the center of the square.

Make two diagonal folds.

We repeat the action in the other direction to get this pattern of lines.

We turn over one side of the workpiece and put a corner there.

We return the bend to its place.

On the other side, we tuck the edge of the paper into the resulting pocket to create a diamond shape.

Fold the rhombus in half.

We fold the triangle towards the center of the module.

We do the same with the other edge. The module is ready.

When all 30 pieces have been collected, we begin assembling the kusudama. We push the corner of one part into the pocket of another.

We form a pyramid of three modules.

In the future, when assembling, we focus on the “star” of five pyramids. This is what the correctly assembled side of the kusudama should look like.

We continue to collect. If the modules were made carefully, then everything will turn out smoothly and without glue. The last 2-3 modules are difficult to insert. Make sure your creation doesn't fall apart.

Our kusudama is ready.

You can decorate it with a ribbon or tassel and attach a loop for hanging. Or you can leave it like that.

Kusudama flower ball "Bells"

Bells are very beautiful flowers. They can be easily made from paper and shaped like a ball. A little-known technique called kusudama will help with this. At first glance, it may seem that the craft is very complicated, but it is not so. If you strictly follow the instructions, you can make such a ball quickly and easily.

Necessary materials:

  • paper squares measuring 8x8 cm - 60 pcs.;
  • PVA glue;
  • paper clips;
  • knitting thread;
  • big bead.

Step-by-step diagram for making a kusudama ball

01. Take one piece, that is, a square and place it with an acute angle upward to form a rhombus.

2. Now bend the workpiece from bottom to top horizontally.

4. Then bend the left half in half from top to bottom.

5. Bend the right half of the workpiece down. Then bend it in half.

6. Now fold the left corner of the module towards the right so that they do not overlap each other, but simply touch.

7. Hide the right corner of the module as shown in the photo.

8. Bend the upper triangle, which extends beyond the workpiece lines, down.

10. It is necessary to make 60 such blanks.

11. Each flower consists of five modules. They need to be glued in a circle. In order for them to be fixed, they must be fastened with paper clips.

12. There should be 12 flowers in total.

13. All bell blanks also need to be glued together with glue and secured with paper clips.

14. Glue the remaining flowers in a circle and form a ball.

15. Make a brush from knitting thread.

16. After the ball has dried and the parts are holding tightly, remove the paper clips and pull a brush through any hole in the ball and secure with a large bead. Kusudama ball “Bells” is ready.

This is the kind of beauty you can make with your own hands. This ball can be hung on a window or on a wall in a room. You can also decorate even a New Year tree with it. It all depends on your imagination and preferences.

Master class on making such a bright kusudama flower from paper.

To work, you will need a colored sheet of paper, some object for drawing circles, a pencil, scissors, and PVA glue.

Draw six identical circles on paper and cut them out.

Fold one of the circles in half.

Let's unfold it, after which you need to make a fold in the middle on one of the halves.

Turn the workpiece over to the other side and form small indentations in the upper part.

Apply a little PVA glue to one fourth of the circle from the edge.

Let's connect this part of the circle, and then apply glue to the other quarter of the circle.

Let's glue it together, our workpiece takes on the following form.

This is what one of the petals looks like from the front side.

Using the same principle, we make 5 more petals.

We begin to glue these elements together. Apply a strip of glue to one of them.

Let's connect this petal to another.

Let's continue gluing them together, and in the end we get a flower.

The flower using the kusudama technique is ready!

Video lesson “Kusudama superball”

The origami technique is becoming more and more popular every day. And this is not surprising. After all, with its help you can create masterpieces from paper. This process is so exciting that it cannot even be put into words. Of course, creating crafts requires a lot of time and materials. But such work brings pleasure, including aesthetic pleasure.

The skill of folding various figures from paper sheets - origami - is several thousand years old. Its homeland is China, where the first paper was invented. The art of folding paper crafts came to Japan five centuries later.

Initially, paper figurines were of a ceremonial and religious nature. Since paper was a rare and expensive pleasure, only very rich and noble people could afford figures made from it. Samurai gave them to each other as gifts. Paper crafts also decorated burdens - food offerings in Buddhist temples. Over time, intricately folded figurines became the main component of offerings and acquired a mystical meaning.

At weddings, paper butterflies accompanied the bride and groom and symbolized their pure souls.

Over time, paper became cheaper, and people of different classes and incomes could fold figures. The number of options for figurines grew and at the end of the 18th century the first book with instructions for folding crafts was published.

The name “origami” itself came into use in the 80th year of the 19th century from two words “oru” and “kami”, which mean “fold” and “paper”.

In the modern art of origami, there are several directions. One of them is modular origami. Crafts are created by assembling small parts folded in a certain way - modules. It is also called 3D origami. One of its branches is kusudama - the creation of three-dimensional balls.

This article will offer several master classes on creating paper balls from small modules. With detailed diagrams and a description of the work, even beginners in the art of origami can create such a beautiful craft.

The first master class is quite simple and is devoted to creating a ball of flowers. It's very easy to make. Even children can do this craft, which will have a beneficial effect on the development of fine motor skills of their fingers, the ability to think logically and outside the box, and will develop their imagination.

Origami flower ball

You will need:

  • Square shaped paper. (you can use multi-colored squares from writing blocks. From such sheets with a side of 7 cm, a flower ball 13 cm in diameter is obtained);
  • PVA glue;
  • Paper clips;
  • Lace, ribbon or chain;

The first stage is folding the petal for the flower.

Take a square of paper and bend it diagonally. The fold line is located at the bottom. The result is a triangle.

Bend the right and left corners to the top so that the figure takes the form of a regular rhombus.

The fold lines and corners that touch along the center line of the rhombus must be turned so that you get two irregular rhombuses on the right and left. (the fold lines will run through the center of the new diamonds).

Bend the protruding parts of the new diamonds on the right and left to the front side (towards you).

Along the fold line (passing through the center of the diamonds), fold the corners of the workpiece so that it is inside.

Those halves of folded corners, which are on the front side, smear with glue and fold the workpiece. Wait until they stick. One flower petal is ready.

For one flower you need 5 such blanks.

For the flower ball you will need to make 12 flowers. Multi-colored or plain - your imagination will tell you.

The next stage is creating the ball.

First you need to assemble 2 halves of 6 blanks each. For convenience, the flowers can be secured with paper clips.

Then connect both halves together. While the flower ball is held in place only with paper clips, the placement of individual flowers can be changed. If the color combination turns out to be successful, then the next step is gluing the flowers together.

The last stage is assembly.

Since the flowers do not fit tightly in the center, you can thread a ribbon or string into this hole. At the end, you can secure it with a beautiful bead or simply tie it with a bow. Kusudama is ready to decorate your life.

The next master class will require more skill and time. The modules for this kusudama are more complex, but the result is worth the time and effort.

Origami superball made of modules.

You will need:

  • For training, double-sided paper measuring 15 x 15 cm (one side is white);
  • Glue.

The first stage is folding a double square.

Fold the sheet diagonally with the colored side facing out. Expand.

Fold horizontally and vertically with the colored side facing inward. Expand.

The photo shows the direction of further addition to create a double square.

The next stage is creating a blank for the module.

Place the square so that the blind corner is on top. Fold the top right and left sides along the vertical midline. Turn over and fold on the second side in the same way.

Those pieces that were bent turned out to be triangular. They need to be flattened and wrapped inside.

This is what happens.

Place the workpiece with the blind corner down (it is sharp in appearance). Fold the right and left corners as shown by the arrows in the figure.

This results in four sharp corners. Everything needs to be bent down.

The next point is folding the workpiece.

Now that all the necessary lines have been outlined, the entire workpiece should be unfolded and positioned so that the white side faces us and the colored side is on the outside.

You need to press on the center of the workpiece (see photo).

Upon careful examination of the workpiece, four squares are visible on it; they must be folded along the marked lines. They are indicated in the photo in the form of red arrows.

The same arrows indicate the direction of folding - the corners are inserted behind the triangle at the back. They should be positioned end to end. You must adhere to the marked fold lines and everything should work out.

This is what the blank looks like from the white side. The next step is to bend the left and right corners along the arrow and bend the top corner down.

The first of the four squares is folded; you just need to fold the right corner with the left (as if turning the page of a book).

For the second square, corners are placed behind the triangle in the same way, etc.

Do the third square in the same way. The blank with three folded corners looks like in the image.

The last corner will be more difficult. Care must be taken to ensure that the folds follow the previously marked lines. Look at the photo.

Fold the right corner, bring the left side in and fold the left corner.

Slightly spread the workpiece and carefully lower the upper sharp corner inward.

The origami module is ready and you can start creating the ball.

Volumetric balls can be assembled from double modules (you will need 32 pieces) or single modules (you will need 40 pieces). The first ones turn out to be more original.

The double module consists of squares - 9 x 9 cm.

The green modules are made completely as in the master class above, and the yellow ones are made halfway. They must be left at the sharp corners stage and not turned inside out.

Connect both modules as in the photo.

Ball assembly.

Place the pieces of two modules together. Glue it with glue. There are 9 blanks in a circle.

For the next row you need 6 blanks.

For the top of one half, another blank is needed. Paste it in.

Make the other half of the Superball in the same way.

Coat the flat side of one of the halves generously with glue and attach a loop of ribbon or lace.

Connect both halves and the Superball is ready.

The next option is created on a stand of three blanks. It used squares 12 x 12 cm, 11.5 x 11.5 cm and 11 x 11 cm.

The remaining modules for the ball are double. Connect them in the same way as the previous ones.

Next master class on creating a ball will differ in that the paper leaves will not be square, but rectangular in shape. Aspects 2:1.

You will need:

  • The paper is green and red (or any colors of your choice);
  • Glue.

For one ball you will need 30 rectangular green and red leaves. Therefore, there will be only 30 double modules. At first glance, this craft seems complicated, but it can easily be completed in a couple of hours. If you are just starting to master the art of origami, you should choose a sheet size of 8 x 4 cm. The size of the ball will be 9.5 cm in diameter.

The first stage is the creation of modules.

Green module.

Fold the rectangle in half. Unfold and connect the right and left sides along the fold line.

Fold in half. The module is ready.

Red module.

Fold the leaf in half along the long side.

Fold line at bottom. Fold the bottom left corner up.

Bend it back (see photo). Corner inward.

Fold the corner on the other side (bottom right). Bend the resulting triangle as in the photo.

This is what the finished red module looks like.

The next stage is assembling the workpiece from modules.

Unfold both modules and connect as shown in the image.

30 pieces of such blanks are needed.

The last stage is assembling the ball.

Apply glue to the ends of the modules. Connect the blanks with pink corners and insert into pockets. To begin, connect five blanks into a star.

Then connect the triangles formed around the star. Add 1 piece at a time and close five triangles.

The next step is to add two more to the three existing blanks - you get stars.

We got triangles again.

The photo shows with arrows where you need to add 1 more piece and where you can simply connect adjacent modules.

Now 1 blank is added to each star.

Connect the last star with glue and the ball is ready.

If desired, you can swap the roles of the green and red leaves, and you will get two modules of different colors.

After completing the creation of kusudama, you can decorate it with various beads, ribbons, laces, sparkles, attach pendants made of beads and crystals, or decorate it with any other accessories of your choice.

Magnificent balls made using the origami technique will look great on the New Year tree, as a festive pendant on the tree or as part of an original garland. The modular product can be made rainbow and bright.

These balls can be given as gifts to family and friends, or they can be brought to the office or school classroom as an element of Christmas decor. Mastering the wisdom of origami is not difficult, but you will still need a little patience.

We create modules for making a ball

The “building material” for creating any three-dimensional products using the origami technique are pre-fabricated triangular modules. They are not difficult to make, however, as practice shows, completing the first ten figures takes some time.

Then the process becomes automatic and they are created quickly. Then modular construction turns into a favorite pastime, and the balls turn out to be just the beginning of a long journey.

First of all, you should take an A4 sheet and divide it into 16 or 32 identical parts. After this, you need to cut out regular paper triangles.

  1. We bend the rectangle in half lengthwise, after which it must be bent across.
  2. We bend the corners of the rectangle according to the same principle as when making a regular paper rectangle.
  3. The resulting figure must be folded in half again, right in the middle towards the outside, between the folded edges. The protruding parts must be folded and the edges turned outward.
  4. We finally bend the workpiece in half, and it takes on the required triangular shape.

To make an origami-style ball, you will need at least 280 of these modules, made from multi-colored sheets, pre-divided into 32 rectangular parts. This, of course, is a lot, but if you involve the whole family in the activity, you will get wonderful creative gatherings with good music and pleasant conversation.

Modular creativity is very useful for children, since it is even difficult to imagine a more effective exercise for developing fine motor skills.

Making a beautiful ball

Now that we have a large set of “spare parts” in front of us, we begin to create our own modular creation. The first three rows will consist of seven modules with a beautiful alternation of colors.

In the fourth year, it is worth using fourteen modules, putting new blanks on each of the corners of the previous row. In the fifth row, seven more triangles will be added - the first of them is put on two corners of the previous row, and the next two are put on one corner of each of the modules of the previous row. Then again one module is put on two corners, then again one at a time and so on.

From the sixth to the fifteenth row we keep 21 modules in each, but starting from the sixteenth row, we again begin to reduce the number of “triangles” by seven pieces, that is, each one is already put on three corners of the previous row. This way you will gradually create an original Christmas ball.

All that remains is to glue a beautiful bow to it. It will be great if you create a whole set of these multi-colored balls using the origami technique. On the Christmas tree, these handmade products will look more original than store-bought toys. Modular creativity can be improved by creating other New Year's masterpieces.

Origami ball made of modules. How to make a ball from origami modules

It’s easy to make a New Year’s origami ball from paper with your own hands, and you’ll get a wonderful Christmas tree decoration. A master class prepared by Olchik will tell you how to make a ball from origami modules. The origami ball consists of 280 triangular origami modules. Choose the colors for the paper ball yourself - you will need 7 colors of 40 modules each. The size of the triangular modules is 1/32 sheet A4. 1st, 2nd and 3rd rows of 7 modules each, mix colors as in the photo. If you use a ball for decoration, be sure to glue each assembly step with glue so that it does not fall apart.

As the New Year approaches, every family strives to create a festive atmosphere in their home. And the main attribute of the holiday is a decorated Christmas tree. You can buy Christmas tree decorations in the store or make them yourself from scrap materials. Such New Year's crafts look very beautiful and original. One of the best ways to decorate an evergreen beauty is with origami paper balls.

Schemes and decoration options

Currently, there are a large number of origami schemes. Some of the most unusual are magic origami paper balls. It is from the simple transformation of a sheet of paper into interesting figures that one begins to become familiar with the origami technique. Balls made using the kusudama technique are a real work of art, as their perfect shape attracts the attention of many people.

Thanks to the abundance of color options, they can easily become decorations for the New Year tree or an extraordinary gift for loved ones. Also very popular is the modular 3D origami technique, in which a whole figure is assembled from many identical parts (models).

To fold each module, one sheet of paper and the rules of classic origami are used. Due to friction, the modules are held together. Making simple origami involves folding paper shapes using mountain and valley folds.

Another technique is unfolded folding., that is, a drawing depicting all the folds of the finished model. Wet folding is also very popular, in the process of using paper moistened with water. It allows you to make smooth and expressive lines.

Simple figures

To make your own simple paper ball, you need:

  • paper, such as multi-colored square writing pads;
  • scissors and glue;
  • mug or compass with pencil.

You need to take prepared paper sheets and cut out circles from them. To make a ball you will need 32 circles with a diameter of 10 cm: 16 blue and 16 red. Each resulting circle should be folded in half. And then you can start gluing the parts together. To do this, you need to apply glue to the upper outer half of the blue circle and glue it to the lower outer part of the red element. In the same way, you need to glue all the parts together, alternating colors: red-blue-red-blue. The result will be a stack of semicircular leaves glued together, reminiscent of a book.

After this, you should expand the figure and proceed to the next step - gluing colorful pages of the ball together. Pages of different colors should be connected in different patterns. The red ones need to be glued together like this: open the red circle and mentally divide it into 6 parts. The upper and lower parts of the left semicircle need to be greased with glue, as shown in the picture, and the middle one should be left untouched. Next you need to connect them with the first and third parts of the right semicircle. After the glue dries, you will get something similar to a “pocket”. Similarly, connect all the red “pages” of the paper ball.

Then you need to start gluing the blue “pages”. To do this, you need to unfold one of the blue circles and apply glue to the most protruding part (the second) of the left semicircle (marked with a cross in the figure). Next, connect to the symmetrically located part of the right blue semicircle. The same should be done with all blue “pages”.

Then you need to fold the ball blank into a “book” again and wait for the glue to dry completely. Now you need to fan out the craft and check that all the “pages” are glued together correctly. Then you should insert a loop of thread and connect the first and last “pages” of the “book” with glue, forming a three-dimensional ball. That's all, the blue ball with a red core is ready.

By changing the place where the multi-colored “pages” are glued together, you can get a variety of paper shapes. This ball model can be used as a basis for making Christmas tree decorations and garlands.

Corrugated paper toy

If you wish to do paper balloon that looks like a flower, then you need to prepare:

  • wire;
  • a thread;
  • scissors;
  • five sheets of corrugated paper measuring 60x40cm.

You need to take the paper and fold it like an accordion or into a roll. It is worth noting that the thicker the roll, the more petals you will get and the more voluminous the ball will be. Then you need to fasten the accordion in the center with thread or wire and cut both end sides of the accordion in the shape of petals, and then carefully unfold them. At the end, you just need to spread the petals in different directions to get a voluminous craft.

Making crafts using the kusudama technique

To make a paper flower arrangement in the shape of a ball, you need to prepare:

  • colored paper;
  • scissors;
  • glue stick;
  • a simple pencil and a ruler.

If you want to use a ball to decorate a New Year tree, then approximately in the middle of the stage of fastening the flower modules you need attach a hanging cord inside.

Using a similar scheme, you need to prepare 11 more flower elements and beautifully glue them together. The flower origami paper ball is ready.

New Year's ball made of six modules

To create a ball, it is better to use double-sided colored paper: this way the New Year’s origami will turn out bright and beautiful. The paper size can be any depending on the desired size of the ball. You will also need glue to assemble the parts together. Manufacturing technology:

Using step-by-step instructions and origami diagrams, you can make DIY magic Christmas balls.

Every family tries to decorate the house for the holiday and, of course, decorate the Christmas tree. And if you want the toys on your Christmas tree to be the most beautiful and original, try making various New Year’s crafts with your own hands with your family. Moreover, New Year's origami is one of the best unusual ways to decorate an evergreen beauty.

Gift from the Land of the Rising Sun

Origami became known to the whole world only in the middle of the last century, but in Japan, its historical homeland, this art has been known and loved since time immemorial. By the way, origami was a favorite pastime of noble persons of the state, so they often practiced it, and if someone from the upper strata of society did not master the artistic technique of folding three-dimensional figures from paper, he could be very ashamed of this, because he would be considered ill-mannered .

Today, both children and adults are interested in origami, because it is so cool, interesting and simple to create beautiful paper crafts with your own hands. Today you can make toys according to the classical traditions of technology (only one sheet of paper - plain and square, without using auxiliary tools like scissors or glue), or you can slightly break the ancient rules, giving free rein to your imagination and creativity.

Japanese kusudama are perfect as New Year's toys. This was the name of the balls that were once sewn from fabric in order to use them as unique containers for collecting and storing medicinal herbs or for incense. However, today kusudama is made like a modular origami ball - they simply glue it from several separate paper modules. With this decor you can realize any interesting fantasy and make it a wonderful decoration for the New Year tree.

Balloons... Magic and miracle from nothing

Despite the apparent complexity, even a child can make kusudama. For those who doubt their abilities, there are many freely available master classes with diagrams, as well as video lessons in which you can examine in detail the entire process of creating a craft with your own hands.

So, if you are ready to get started, then you will need to prepare some materials and tools so as not to be distracted by anything:

  • Of course, you will need the paper itself - keep in mind that you need to take square sheets. To make one kusudama ball, you need 60 sheets of paper. The diameter of the future toy will depend on the diameter of the sheets (for example, if you take standard A4 sheets and make squares out of them, you will end up with approximately a 30-diameter ball, but from small stationery sheets you will get a very miniature ball);
  • also prepare a pencil and ruler;
  • don’t forget about scissors and glue;
  • decor - at your discretion - a ribbon to hang a toy, beads, sparkles, foil, etc.

Select the color of the paper depending on what kind of DIY craft you want to make.

    • First you need to take your square and fold it. This must be done strictly diagonally.

    • You will get a triangle, the side corners of which will need to be folded towards the top. Just make sure you do it symmetrically.

    • Next, try to carefully straighten each of these folded corners. As a result of your efforts, it should turn out that the longitudinal fold will run in the middle.

    • Now you will be dealing with diamonds. Their corners also need to be folded.

    • After this, you will get a figure in your hands, on the sides of which there will be two small triangular envelopes. Each of them will have to be folded in half, bending the outer edges.

    • It's time to use the glue. You need to carefully glue those narrow triangles that you got so that a petal comes out.

    • Using the same scheme, model other petals of different colors, because there are five of them in each individual flower.

  • Kusudama balls are complex structures related to modular or 3D origami, because the whole figure will consist of many identical parts or modules. For your craft you need to make twelve flowers.

The finished product can be sprinkled with glitter, decorated with small foil stamens, beads glued to it and a ribbon attached. Voila - the magic origami ball with your own hands is ready and will delight you, giving you a festive mood and a smile.

You can also make any other New Year's toys using the origami technique. For example, it is very simple to cut eleven strips from a multi-colored sheet (the width of a sheet of A4 paper is approximately 19 mm). All the strips will need to be collected in a stack, tightly connecting them in the center (use thread or tape for this). Next, the inner edge of each strip needs to be folded towards the center and glued. This way you will get a beautiful three-dimensional toy.

Once you look at the diagram, you will easily collect a star with six or nine rays, flowers, snowflakes, and Christmas trees. The main thing is to just start. Let the flight of your imagination allow you to realize the most beautiful and original ideas in New Year's toys created with your own hands.
