Textile hedgehogs. Patterns. How to sew a hedgehog from felt and fur

Thrush

Today you can buy almost any toy for your baby, but it's much more fun to make it yourself. Everyone's favorite hedgehog character comes to life thanks to a simple set of materials.

A soft toy made of fur or pompoms will be an ideal gift for a baby, and if your child can already hold scissors in his hands, it is worth bringing such a valuable assistant to the process.

fur hedgehog

In order to sew a hedgehog, you need to take the following materials:

  • fur with medium pile;
  • a small piece of artificial leather;
  • velours;
  • printed fabric;
  • cardboard;
  • wire (22 cm);
  • dense fabric;
  • black beads (3 pcs).

Click to enlarge the hedgehog pattern.

We make a head pattern for their furs. From velor fabric we will cut out four paws and a muzzle. We use artificial leather for the ears and paws, without which the hedgehog will look incomplete.

A printed material will make a good torso. We create slippers from dense fabric. Soles need to be made from cardboard, and the wire will go to the frame.

Stages of work

1. To begin with, with your own hands, you should grind the tucks necessary for the details of the head. On the pattern, you need to mark the points where the ears and other details of the muzzle will be attached in the future. The halves of the head are sewn along the middle seam. Make it simple. Then you need to turn the product out and fill it with a pre-designed filler. Here is the future soft toy got a head.

3. Now the back seams on the slippers are being ground down, in which the hedgehog soft toy will be shod. The shoe is turned inside out, and the sole is made by hand. Slippers are stitched to the lower section of the body. The toy must be turned inside out, cardboard is inserted inside the slippers, a frame must be made in the paws. Slippers, legs and torso are stuffed with filler. Using a secret seam, you need to sew the torso and head. The hedgehog is almost ready.

4. A little left: to make a strike of the details of the front legs, the lower sections are still open. The paws turn out, filled with stuffing. Put your palms into the open paws, tuck the edge of the fabric slightly inward and sew with a blind seam. The legs are attached to the body in pre-marked places. The toy is almost finished.

5. The muzzle should become embossed. The injection is done at the point that is intended for the eyes, and the injection is done at the corner of the mouth.

6. Now we make eyes and a nose. For this, beads are used.

As you can see, sewing a hedgehog is not so difficult. But this is just one of the options for how you can create an amazing toy with your own hands.

Pompom Hedgehog

To sew a hedgehog from pompoms, you need to take the following materials:

  • Woolen threads (different colors);
  • Needle;
  • Ordinary threads;
  • Scissors;
  • Buttons (for the nose and eyes).

Stages of work

1. The hedgehog, in fact, will not consist of several pompoms, but of just one. This is where you should start. From cardboard you need to make a template in the form of circles (one inside the other). The outer circle is responsible for the size of the future toy, and the inner circle is responsible for the splendor of the “spiky hair” of the soft pet. You only need two templates.

2. Usually the thread is threaded through the needle, it is better to make it double. But since we are making a soft toy, we take a woolen and thick thread. The templates are connected to each other and wrapped with a thread. This continues until the inner circle disappears from sight.

3. To get a hedgehog, you need to cut the threads along the end. Now you need to thread the thread between the patterns and tie tightly. Leave the ends of the thread free, and cut the template and carefully pull it out. Even if you have never made pom poms, this one is easy to make.

4. Using yarn or threads, create two pigtails with your own hands, they will replace the hedgehog's paws. The legs need to be sewn to the body.

5. Buttons turn into eyes, ears, shoes.

It is not necessary to make the whole body out of pompoms. You can sew the body separately, and use the bubo as needles.

If your hedgehog is an autumn character, then mushrooms or leaves may appear on his back. Making toys with your own hands is not so difficult. It's worth trying.

We sew other animals:

    Make a soft toy hedgehog with your own hands you can, having at hand only small pieces of fabric and fur. The fur in our case will imitate the needles of a hedgehog. Download the hedgehog patterns below, adjust the scale you need to work with, and then, after making the patterns, cut out the required number of details. Do not forget about the seam allowances, which should be about 5-7 millimeters. Stuffing a finished sewn hedgehog is best done with a padding polyester.

    A beautiful soft hedgehog is very easy and quick to sew from an ordinary Sock, as shown in the photo below. This craft does not need a pattern.

    Have a nice creative time and beautiful crafts!

    Here is a video of a master class on making not only a hedgehog toy, but also a completely practical wardrobe item - mittens.

    These hedgehog mittens look fun on the palms. You can choose the color of the yarn according to your taste.

    A wonderful hedgehog can be sewn from an ordinary sock, you will need to match the sock woolen threads, synthetic winterizer, or stuffing material for toys, ready-made eyes. The arms and legs for the hedgehog must be sewn from the second sock. Everything else is very detailed shown in the photographs. I wish you success.

    A cute soft hedgehog can be sewn on your own if you try a little. To create it, you need very little material. As a fur coat (in this case, not prickly, but fluffy) will act artificial fur. The body of the hedgehog should be made of soft, pleasant material, such as fleece. For the eyes you will need ordinary beads. For stuffing, prepare a synthetic winterizer. First you need to cut out the details of the future hedgehog. You can do it with this pattern:

    The pattern shows that the abdomen will consist of two parts, the fur coat will also consist of two. The bottom means one piece, the arms and feet - four pieces each, the legs - two pieces and a small round nose. We sew the parts together and stuff the toy with synthetic winterizer. The soft toy hedgehog is ready.

    In the meantime, there are no answers, I will share what I personally managed to find on the net. In fact, making any soft toy is not so difficult, the main thing is to have a pattern of the toy itself and a little perseverance in order to cut everything out and sew it properly.

    I managed to find this cute toy:

    To make it, as it turned out, is not so difficult.

    Sew Martin the Hedgehog according to the pattern. Soft toy Hedgehog Martin is sewn from velor or fleece, and for the fur part, where the hedgehog needs to find needles nice fur or mohair fabric. Any fabric with a long or short pile will do, because a hedgehog can look like a porcupine or a hedgehog whose needles are smoothed.

    Pattern Hedgehog Pretty.

    It is sewn from a piece of black felt or fleece, you will also need fur, we will make the eyes from pieces of skin, and the nose will turn out from a piece of black fleece.

    First stage. We grind the details along the line of the muzzle and abdomen.

    Second phase. Sew the coat and abdomen on the side seams.

    Third stage. We turn the sewn parts inside out and stuff them with sintempon more tightly.

    Fourth stage. We attach the bottom with the wrong side to the body (the wrong side and sew it with a secret stitch.

    Hedgehogs are very cute creatures. Let's sew a soft toy hedgehog. For example, here is such a wonderful hedgehog toy according to a pattern:

    To make such a hedgehog, we take faux fur with a long pile for the skin of a hedgehog with needles, light (flesh) fabric made of fleece / velor for the muzzle, tummy, paws, the inside of the ears, a little black velor fabric for the spout, eco-leather to embroider the inside ears (any fabric that does not crumble), filler, fabric for a bow, half beads - eyes.

    Here are the individual details:

    We sew, we twist:

    We sew all the details for the head, sew with the body, sew the details for the back, we sew the ears:

    Fill the paws a little, sweep them, then sew the back with the body.

Which cause affection not only for children, but also for adults, even the most unemotional ones! It seems to me that the hedgehog that Tatyana Br offers us to sew today is just one of those.

Tatyana copied the pattern from a ready-made factory toy, and, of course, the hedgehog, sewn with her own hands, turned out to be even cuter than the purchased one.

Pattern of a soft hedgehog toy with your own hands:

Apart from hedgehog you will need:

Faux fur with a long pile of dark color - for thorns;

Fleece (or velor) fabric of flesh (light shade) color - for the muzzle, tummy, arms, legs and the outer part of the ears;

Eco-leather or any thin fabric that does not crumble (the inside of the ears);

Filler;

Colored fabric for a bow;

A black piece of velor fabric (for the spout);

Half beads (for the eye).

So let's get started!

1. Cut out the details of the toy hedgehog.

2. We sew tucks, handles, legs and ears. Then we turn everything out.

3. Now it's time to sew the back pieces together, baste the ears, and also sew the head pieces. Then sew it to the body:

4. now we sew the parts of the torso together. But do not forget to baste the slightly filled legs and arms before this.

5. The bottom piece is attached at the end. Leave (do not forget :-)) a hole on the side so that you can turn the hedgehog inside out and fill it with padding polyester. After stuffing, the hole will need to be sewn up with blind stitches.

Sew the spout like this: collect the part in a circle, add a little stuffing and tighten. Get a spout - a ball

6. It remains to sew on the nose and attach the eyes. Shape the face to your liking. Sew a bow and pin on a pin to our pet. Cheeks can be rouged with a crushed lead.

Here, meet the cavalier!

My friend's daughter asked sew her a hedgehog. At school they were told about hedgehogs and she really liked these animals. And she wanted to have a cute hedgehog at home, well, at least in the form. I liked MK, which offers to sew a hedgehog from any soft thick fabric that does not fray the edges, for example, from fleece. You can also take felt.
:
future hedgehog

We sew inside out. We sew together the two side halves of the hedgehog along the back line.

At the bottom we sew the belly of the hedgehog, leaving a hole for eversion. We turn the hedgehog on the front side and fill it with soft filler. The hole is sewn up by hand.

We make the eyes of the hedgehog. They can be simply embroidered with threads. Or use dark beads sewn onto a small circle of fabric. When sewing beads, you can slightly pull the thread to form depressions in the eye area.

We embroider the nose with threads.

And now the most difficult thing is to make soft needles for the hedgehog.

Cut out 5-6 strips of fleece. in the center of the strip, where dotted line we sew by hand so that the thread can be pulled off and the strip is gathered.

We cut each strip with scissors at the top and bottom every 1.2 cm.

We pull the thread.

We start sewing to the hedgehog the strips are gathered one after another as shown in the figure,
until it is covered with soft needles.

And here is the finished hedgehog!
