Ureaplasmosis

Kids love parties and parties when they can dress up in some funny or scary costume, invite friends, fool around and have fun. Children's parties do not accept pathos and strict adherence to all norms of etiquette, their main task is to become a bright and memorable event in your child's life.

Adults can also come to such parties in costumes - who doesn't want to remember childhood? And it doesn't matter what holiday - New Year, Halloween, birthday or just themed fun - choose an interesting image for yourself and for your child, think over costumes and entourage, decorate the house (if the event is taking place with you) and invite guests.

One of the most common characters is the pirate. Despite the similarity of the elements and details of the costume, this image can be made very original, interesting and distinctive.

If you want to make a pirate costume with your own hands, you will see how easy and fast it is. Moreover, you can even use improvised materials or old unnecessary things. Of course, it will take a little more time to create the entourage or some special characteristic details. However, in general, this image is very beneficial for both a boy and a girl, and for adults on almost any occasion.

As a rule, a pirate costume is distinguished by its brightness, layering and variety: after all, pirates were almost the kings of all seas and oceans. A typical image can consist of:

  • wide-brimmed cocked hats (with or without feathers, with pirate emblems - a skull and daggers, etc.) or bandanas (headscarves);
  • high leather boots (for girls for an adult party, an option is possible with the stylization of shoes as boots, for small children you can take black ballet flats or gym shoes);
  • from a white / cream shirt with voluminous puffy sleeves, frill and cuffs (make it a pirate look - in some places leave traces of an enemy dagger, you can add blood on Halloween) or a sea vest (stripes can be black and white or blue or red) - it is also better to spoil them: make holes, sew pieces and scraps of multi-colored fabric;
  • vest / corset and frock coat / camisole (the latter option is more suitable for adults, since it is too heavy and uncomfortable for children);
  • comfortable bulky pants (there may be full-length trousers, or there may be breeches or capri pants, even ordinary leggings and long striped leggings are suitable for children) or skirts - for girls (the skirt should be made asymmetrical, with a torn hem, fringe and a bunch of sewn jewelry;
  • belts (there may be several), a characteristic element is a sash;
  • many different additional parts (blindfolds on one eye, a hook on the arm, a parrot on the shoulder, pistols or daggers / sabers behind a belt, pipes, treasure maps, a telescope, a chest or purse with gold coins, many rings on fingers, baubles, an earring ear and other accessories).

Before making a pirate costume, decide on the image: the most convenient and simple options are selected for young children, for teenagers (for a pirate party or Halloween) you can make something more cute and elegant, for adults brutal or sexy images are also suitable - imagine how cool it is to dress up for Halloween so that no one can tell you apart from Jack Sparrow or Angelica.

How to make a kids pirate costume for boys

First of all, decide how and from what you will create the costume. In a child's image, it is not at all necessary to reproduce all the details or adhere to historical correspondence.

It is better to choose bright colors: red, black, burgundy, brown, a combination of marine colors and shades (less often - dark green or purple tones).

The base for a suit can be old trousers or even jeans. They will need to be cut and decorated (rub the cut edges to create a fringe, sew on patches, weave in multi-colored threads). From this element you will build the image further: for example, a vest will go well with denim capri pants, and a white shirt will suit wide trousers that can be tucked into boots.

See how easy it is to sew striped short pants for a little pirate.

  1. Take some comfortable pants for kids. Fold them in half (so the legs are together) for a pattern.
  2. Fold the striped fabric in half twice (following the direction of the stripes on it). Put your pants on it and mark with chalk or pencil (outline them).
  3. Then you need to cut out what you have outlined. You will end up with two identical folds.
  4. Sew the parts together. Then add a rubber band to the waistband and to the bottom of the legs.

You can also make pants from colored silk. Now go to the top of the suit. A vest, a vest and a bright sash are suitable for the above-described pants. And for black trousers you will have to make a shirt. It can be sewn according to the same principle as striped pants (choose a thing that is comfortable for the child and use it as a pattern).

  1. Keep in mind that a pirate shirt is not a modern model, so leave more space for your armpits, make voluminous sleeves, a little longer. Leave seam allowances and allowances to fold over the fabric.
  2. After circling the shirt, cut the neckline in the fabric and leave a small slit in the front (the baby's head should go freely). Work the slit and neck.
  3. Sew a shirt.
  4. Make fluffy cuffs on the sleeves. To do this, you need to hem the edge, and at a short distance from it, sew a piece of elastic (while sewing, stretch it a little).
  5. You can complement the product with a lacing on the collar or lace frill.

The vest can be made using the same technology, using a sleeveless T-shirt (you will need the outlined piece of the back with a fold and 2 pieces of the front. In them you will need to deepen the armholes and draw a V-neck on the front details. Cut out the elements and then sew them). As a rule, pirate vests are not fastened, but are worn wide open, so the buttons on them can only be of a decorative nature.

The camisole will only interfere with the child. So you can move on to shoes and accessories. The pirate can be barefoot, can wear striped leggings and dark boots (gym shoes). Of course, high boots look more advantageous, but will the baby be comfortable in them?

Work on accessories

Choose a bright fabric for a belt or sash (fleece, satin). Then he will suit both the classic version of the costume and the image of the "sea wolf". Cut from fabric and overcast (so that you can wrap your child's waist at least twice). You can fasten it with something so that it does not untie and does not interfere with the search for treasure. You can wear a leather belt (or even several).

The simplest version of a headdress is a bandana or a headscarf, tied in a pirate fashion. You can see the diagrams of how the bandana is tied and buy either a ready-made kerchief, or cut it (triangle) from a suitable fabric and sew on some decorative elements.

The hat is a little more difficult. You can try to make it out of cardboard (take a very dense one). This requires:

  • cut the desired silhouette;
  • make a separate bezel that will hold the hat (after having measured it on the child's head);
  • paint or decorate the product (white skull and bones, paper fringe, cockade, hanging decorations).

A headdress is also made of fabric (strong and tough), you can even glue the wrong side with non-woven fabric to keep the given shape well.

You can also make a hat in the form of a mask (this is very important for Halloween). The principle of manufacturing is the same, only instead of the rim, attach the silhouette of the hat to the stick with tape. So the child will be able to hold his hat and apply to the head if necessary.

An eye patch can be made from a regular piece of black cloth or cardboard (use a piece of tape or rubber band). Decorate the bandage itself with a skull with bones.

A pirate hook is also easy to make: take a disposable cup made of cardboard (it is better to immediately red or black, but you can also paint it) and make a hole in its bottom. The hook is made of food foil and inserted into the hole, and then fixed with glue.

A pirate pipe can be made from ordinary cardboard toilet paper rolls. Use paints and artificial leather / fabric in your work for pasting and decorating the future pipe.

Weapons and other items can be bought or made in the same way from cardboard and other improvised means. One condition - everything must shine and sparkle, because you are pirates.

Making a pirate costume for a girl

Actually, all the accessories and even many elements of the pirate costume for girls and boys are the same. Only the image of a pirate suggests more sophisticated forms and romantic details of the outfit.

Costumes for New Year's parties can often cause disputes between young children and parents. The most desirable for the former are the outfits of the actual heroes of Hollywood fairy tales (pirates), the cost of which in the store can be quite high. However, parents can please the child without resorting to significant expenses, since it is not difficult to make a pirate costume with their own hands.

What should a pirate costume consist of?

The established image of this character in fairy tales presupposes the obligatory presence of a vest. A bandana or a special cocked hat can serve as a headdress.

The rest of the costume elements serve as an addition, referring to various cartoon characters. An eye patch, a hand hook, or a telescope can add extra flavor.

The pirate image is based mainly on the specified accessories. Therefore, this outfit is one of the easiest to create.

Clothing items

This piece of the costume can be purchased from the store. A vest or other horizontal striped T-shirt, matching long socks or golf will be enough. The outfit allows the use of pants of any color. It will be important to tuck them into the socks.

Having these items in the boy's wardrobe will reduce the cost of creating a pirate costume to a minimum.

A matching bandana can also be purchased.

How to make a hook

To make this item, you will need a paper cup, paint and foil. A hole is made in the bottom of the glass where a hook made of foil is placed. You need to paint the glass in a color that matches the clothes you use.

It is worth refraining from using hanger hooks as they can injure children.

Making a telescope

Any hollow cylindrical object can be used as the base for the pipe. A cardboard roll for foil or baking paper is ideal. It should be pasted over with a cloth or eco-leather painted in the desired color.

How to create a cocked hat?

To make the most colorful pirate costume item you will need:

    scissors;

    thick cardboard paper;

    glue;

    white and black paints.

First of all, a rim is made of cardboard, which should fit the boy in size. Next, you need to decide on the shape of the hat itself by cutting it out of paper. All the resulting elements are painted black.

Attach the rim and front of the hat with glue. It is important to ensure that the material is firmly seated so that the hat can withstand the required loads.

A border and a pirate symbol (skull and crossbones below) are applied to the finished headdress using white paint.

Eye patch

This element is the easiest to manufacture. A small piece of black fabric and an elastic band threaded through it will be enough. The headband can be decorated with a pirate symbol.

The pirate's outfit is a clear proof of the simplicity of creating a costume for a children's party without the need for a sewing machine.

Among themed holidays and corporate events, the pirate party is especially popular. The image of a pirate, a sea robber, is equally loved by children and adults: it is a rebel, and a criminal, and a romantic who loves freedom, and a brave hero ... Such a character wants to be at least at a costume event - you just need to find a suitable outfit for him.

What is it impossible to imagine a pirate without?

Sea robbers, who did not descend from the pages of books or TV screens, but existed in a harsh reality, mostly wore shirts and culottes; often the feet were barefoot, and the heads were dressed in hats. This does not fit well with the ideas of modern man about the pirate outfit, replicated in the cinema. The following things are typical for a "cinematic" character:

  1. Headdress. Either it is a cocked hat or a bandana scarf. Although one does not interfere with the other. There are also characters walking around the deck in a wide-brimmed hat, and even with a feather. By the way, this is almost the most recognizable pirate attribute.
  2. Shirt / vest. If everything is more or less clear with the shirt (either straight white or chiffon with frills, which the captain could get from a captured ship), then you will not find a striped jacket in any pirate film. But at pirate parties, costumes based on this particular thing are quite common.
  3. Belt / belt. A wide belt, most often red, is tied at the hips or waist. An alternative is the abundance of massive worn leather belts.
  4. Corset. If we are talking about a pirate, then her waist is often pulled by a corset. All other items of clothing, as a rule, do not differ from the male version. Long skirt is allowed though.

In addition, the image can be complemented by shortened or, conversely, elongated vests, scarves, weapons, blindfolds, etc.

How to choose a pirate party costume from the available items in your wardrobe?

To transform into a pirate, you do not have to fork out for expensive costumes, buying them in stores or renting them in theaters. Having a couple of things from the list of "must-haves", you can easily appear in the guise of one of the members of the robbery team.

Ideas for the smallest "pirates"

Children are not picky about outfits. What is not, they fantasize. The main thing is a headdress and pistols. If you can't get a ready-made pirate hat, then make it out of paper or felt.

The easiest way: cut a shape out of cardboard and glue it to a paper ring. A wreath-type craft is worn, so the length of the band for the ring should be equal to the circumference of the child's head. Oh, and don't forget about Jolly Roger! The main element of the predatory image is. Now it's up to the clothes.

For a children's pirate party, a do-it-yourself costume can be made from an ordinary long-sleeved jersey, if you decorate it correctly. For these purposes, felt is best suited. Lapels of an improvised camisole and cuffs of sleeves are cut out from it. Details along the edges are trimmed with golden braid, after which they are swept over the jacket. A chiffon scarf - frill is inserted into the neckline. You can sew braid and buttons along the middle of the garment to simulate a clasp.

The selection of pirate pants is not limited to any particular style. Both black jeans and sweatpants will look good. Both can be rolled up above the ankle if you plan to wear sneakers.

And one more important point is makeup. Sometimes he is able to compensate even for the lack of a suit. Draw the stubble, scar, mustache ... Even a blindfold and bandana can be made from paint, can be used.

Outfits for those who have already grown

At an adult pirate party, costumes with paper elements don't always look convincing. Especially if we are not talking about a corporate party, but about a club event, for example. Then open the closet in search of:

  1. Shirts or T-shirts (including striped ones), dark trousers of any cut, vests, long belt and bandanas (hats). This is a unisex image, that is, designed for both the male and female half. It's good if the shirt (T-shirt) is a couple of sizes larger (a woman can borrow it from the stronger sex), because pirate shirts are wide enough and free. For female pirates, the shirt can be tied in a knot under the breasts, exposing the belly. Pants are also allowed to choose a size larger. Ripped jeans will do a great job. Tight slips are also suitable for pirates. The fabric belt should be wide and long enough for the ends to hang down to knee level. The belt should also be selected with the largest width. Rough boots or over-the-knee boots will complete the costume.
  2. Dresses with frills and flounces or sailor dresses, vest, scarf, belt. For a more feminine look, wear a dress and a belt. Put on a vest on top. It is great if it is decorated with metal elements or sewn from leather. Tie a pirate bandana around your neck and take care of your weapons.
  3. Blouses, corsets and skirts. Probably the most romantic image can be created from these things. It is only important that the skirt is of a decent length. A corset can be completely replaced with a corset-belt or a skirt / dress on a corset.

These are the basic combinations that are possible from the things almost everyone has. But these ideas for creating a unique image, of course, are not limited to.

In order not to be ashamed to flaunt in a future costume at a party, you need to remember the following points:

  1. Color. Do not wear bright colors for your suit. The main palette is discreet: shades of white, dark brown, burgundy. Black and red colors are actively used. The more subdued they are, the more believable the character will look. As if the clothes were burnt out in the sun. By the way, the shirt doesn't have to be white. Corsairs, for example, wore dark ones.
  2. Textile. Not all materials are beneficial to use. For example, satin or silk are too shiny and are more suitable for secular balls than for a pirate party. Photos of costumes using these fabrics confirm this. But cotton, dark denim, leather, chiffon are great choices. It is also worth looking at clothes with all sorts of rivets, metal decorations, etc.
  3. Accessories. Sometimes a suit looks unconvincing just because of the lack of a pair of belts or bracelets. Be sure to use pendants in the form of a skull, scarves, belts to create a complete look.
  4. Borrowing. Children's and adult outfits are not much different. Toddlers can just as well be dressed in a shirt, dark pants, and a belt. Get ideas from each other!

If the idea of what your costume will look like is still vague, then revisit the film with the trendsetter of the "pirate fashion" - Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow. Images from the famous film will surely inspire you to create your own pirate "I".

Therefore, if your child is planning a fancy-dress holiday, and you do not know how to make a pirate costume with your own hands, then you should familiarize yourself with our master class.

Materials (edit)

To make a pirate costume, we need a few old children's things:

  • White T-shirt;
  • White shirt;
  • black or blue trousers;
  • vest;
  • an old coat or an elongated jacket.

It will also be necessary to use decorative materials that will help turn ordinary clothes into a real masterpiece.

Materials at hand:

  • scissors;
  • Scotch;
  • acrylic paints in blue and white;
  • roller for painting walls;
  • eyelets;
  • lace;
  • skull patches;
  • a sheet of black A3 paper (you can take 2 A4 sheets);
  • glue;
  • belts and scarf.

Manufacturing process

Our T-shirt will play the role of an old vest.

Therefore, you need to thoroughly "age" it, cutting off the neck, the lower part of the sleeves and the bottom, and then make a good hole.

In order to make even stripes on the T-shirt, it will be most convenient to use tape. We glue strips of adhesive tape along the product to the very bottom. Pour acrylic paint into a flat plate or any other container, we will dip the roller into it. Then everything is simple - use a roller to paint over the T-shirt from all sides, let the paint dry slightly, and remove the tape. This way, without much effort, we get a cool pirate vest!

We will also need to "age" the shirt. To do this, rip open the seams on the collar and cuffs to give it a time-worn effect.

Then we insert the eyelets under the cord, right in place of the hinges and buttons, cutting off the latter. We thread the cord into the finished eyelets. If you do not have eyelets, then you can simply make holes in place of the buttons, overlapping them by hand, for reliability.

Since you already know how to make stripes on a T-shirt, redoing the pants shouldn't be a problem for you. In this case, take white paint and glue the strips of tape closer to each other to get a thinner pattern.

You can take any old vest or sew it yourself. If you chose the second option, then sew with lacing. But the most important thing is to give it a pirate look. The ominous skull patches are enough for that, which can be purchased at any sewing store that has a hardware section. Usually patches are transferred to the fabric using a hot iron, but they can also be sewn on the sides of the vest with threads.

A pirate hat, called a cocked hat, can be cut out of cardboard. We draw a silhouette of the future pirate hat and carefully cut it out.

Separately, we make a cardboard headband that will fit perfectly on the head. We glue the two halves along the edge, let the glue dry. Glue the ring on the inside of the cocked hat.

When the pirate hat is created, you need to help it get a robber look. To do this, in the center of the front part, you need to glue the symbols of piracy - a skull and bones, similar to the one that we sewed on the vest. You can draw the mark yourself, but it's easier to just print and cut out of paper.

The little pirate's costume is completely ready and you can dress up! We put on a vest, shirt, vest and frock coat, the role of which can be played by an old coat or an elongated jacket. We tuck the trousers into the boots that match the image as much as possible - with belts and buckles. Belts are an integral part of the pirate's image, so it will be great to gird yourself with several leather belts at once, adding a belt made of a red shawl or scarf to this set.

Now your little adventurer looks like a real conqueror of the seas! Just don't forget to add toy weapons to your look. Sabers, pistols, and swords will help the little pirate feel like a real hero!
