What will be needed?
Rectangular sheet of paper.
3-5 minutes of free time.
Attentiveness.
Progress
Step 1. We bend a rectangular sheet of paper in half.

Step 2. We bend two opposite corners to the center line and immediately unbend them.

Step 3. Do the same with the other two corners. And unfold again. The result is a pattern that will become the basis of the valentine.

Step 4. Now we bend both sides to the center so that the sheet is divided by folds into four equal parts.

Step 5. After that, bending along the lines, we get an "accordion".

Step 6. Now we make double corners on both sides, bending the previously prepared lines inward.

Step 7. Without turning the workpiece, we bend the sides of the triangles to their vertices.

Step 8. Expand each of the resulting four corners.

Step 9. Now you need to bend the two extreme opposite corners to each other, and we will already get a blank for the future heart.

Step 10 Bend the top corner.

Step 11. We turn the workpiece over and bend the two sidewalls to give a rounded shape.

Step 12. Turn the workpiece over again. Now we bend the sides of the expanded corners to their tops.

Step 13 Last
The step will be to unfold the "petals", that is, each small triangle needs to be unfolded and pressed at the top.

Step 14. The heart is ready.

Such a valentine can be both an independent gift and accompany a bouquet, in any case, your efforts will definitely be appreciated!

Fold the rectangle in half.

Then we fold the resulting square diagonally, and then again diagonally.

We level our sheet and in front of us is a rectangle, but already with fold lines.

Using the outlined lines, bend the edges to the center.

We bend four corners to the center.

We turn the product over, bend the upper corner down, and also bend the side corners.

DIY Valentine cards - photo and description

The simplest origami valentine

Even someone who has never been fond of origami technique in his life can make such a Valentine. For it you will need a sheet of colored paper (preferably double-sided) or a sheet of square-shaped gift wrapping paper. The larger the sheet, the larger your origami valentine will turn out. How to make such a Valentine?

1. Fold the square diagonally (you should get a triangle), put it with the fold line down and mark the line of the second fold (in half).

3. Turn the valentine over and bend the top layer of the future origami valentine in half downwards.

4. Fold the two remaining top corners along the edges.

5. Fold in the corners.

6. Turn over the resulting origami valentine.

Valentine's card origami "with pockets"

You can make such an origami valentine according to a scheme similar to the scheme of the previous valentine, but with slight changes. The starting material is still the same square sheet of paper, but now it needs to be cut diagonally to make a triangle. This is the triangle we are going to work with.

1. Lay the triangle base up and bend the corners of the triangle to the middle, then turn the resulting square.

2. Raise the bottom corner of the square up - but only the top layer.

3. Bend the corners of the future origami valentine, as shown in the figure.

4. Bend the ends of the corners, and then bend and hide them in the resulting pockets.

5. Fold in the corners.

6. Turn over the valentine.

Volumetric valentine origami from a strip of paper

In order to make such a Valentine, you will need a strip of paper about 2 cm wide and 20 cm wide. Lay the strip on the table and begin to bend the corners almost to the end of the strip.

We bend the remaining tip inward and pushes the middle in the voluminous triangle so that it takes the shape of a heart. The ends can be rounded with scissors, or you can bend them to the back.

Origami valentine with bow

The technique for making such a valentine is already more complicated than the previous ones, but this does not mean that you should not even try to make it! After all, how can you refuse such beauty?

To make such an origami valentine, you will need a rectangular sheet of paper (colored, plain or packaging - you decide), and the length should be 2 times the width.

1. Begin to bend the sheet in half and diagonally to end up with such a picture.

2. Lay the sheet in front of you lengthwise and fold it like this at the top and bottom. The result should be such a "figure".

3. Turn the future origami valentine over with some corner down and bend the corners up on both sides.

4. How to straighten the corners.

5. Turn over the origami valentine and fold over the triangle.

6. Bend the corners of the valentine and turn it over.

7. After that, start folding the corners of the inverted valentine towards the middle to make such a blank.

8. And now the final stage. Straighten the corners of the origami valentine and admire!
