Flowers made from paper modules. How to make a flower out of paper. Modular origami. The process of making a flower from origami modules

Mammalogy

Some craftsmen make real masterpiece flowers from paper. Looking at them, it seems that we are unlikely to be able to do something similar. But in fact, there are options for making paper flowers that even children can master. And the option presented below is just that - simple, not requiring much effort, time and patience.

What you need to make a paper flower:

Colored paper (in this case, very convenient colored pieces of paper for notes);
glue stick.

Step 1. Making a petal

We will form a flower petal from a 9x9 square. In this case, blocks with sticky notes are indispensable!

Fold the square in half diagonally.

We combine the corners of the resulting triangle with its vertex.

We get a rhombus.

We wrap the edges of the rhombus towards the central axis.

We straighten the resulting workpiece.

We turn out the “tails” on both sides as shown in the photo.

We get this design.

We bend the “ears” extending beyond the edge of the diamond inward.

We wrap the edges inward along the existing line.

We wrap the petal, connecting the folded edges.

Apply glue to one of the sides to be glued.

Glue it together and get a petal.

Petals can be from 5 to 10-15.

Step 2. Glue the petals together.

Coat the end side of the petal with glue.

Glue the two petals together.

We glue all the petals one by one and get this paper flower.

This flower using the modular origami technique is very easy to make with your own hands. In this case, you can vary the number of petals, glue together the “stamens” inside the flower, and paint them in a contrasting color. If desired, you can add a bead to the center. Such a paper flower can become the basis for making topiary or an original element of gift wrapping. And if you like other flowers, then do not rush to leave our site, because we will show you how to make tulips from paper. In our opinion, the craft turns out very beautiful!

Origami (Japanese: 折り紙, lit.: “folded paper”) is the ancient art of folding paper figures. The art of origami has its roots in ancient China, where paper was discovered.

Origami was originally used in religious rituals. For a long time, this type of art was available only to representatives of the upper classes, where mastery of paper folding techniques was a sign of good form. Only after the Second World War did origami go beyond the East and come to America and Europe, where it immediately found its fans.

Classic origami is made from a square sheet of paper.

There is a certain set of symbols necessary to sketch the folding diagram of even the most complex product. Most of the conventional signs were introduced into practice in the mid-20th century by the famous Japanese master Akira Yoshizawa.

Classic origami requires the use of one square, evenly colored sheet of paper without glue or scissors. Contemporary art forms sometimes depart from this canon. Varieties of origami - modular origami And

a flower consists of 5 elements. one module “lily” green, paper size 10cm.
two modules of red or pink color (close to the color of poppy petals) size 9 cm.
and, the middle. consists of two modules made like a “super ball” module. one black (6cm) and yellow (5cm). for the core, we make modules like for a “super ball”, only in a shortened version - without unfolding the module inward.

These are the modules for the flower core. We insert the yellow module inside the black one. Please note - in the black module I didn’t bend the sharp ends, but in the yellow one I did (it turns out more believable) now I’ll show you for those who don’t know how the lily module is made. We bend the square diagonally on both sides like this, then turn it over and bend it like this. You should get bulges and depressions. We make the basic “double square” module, then bend the corners to the middle on four sides, then open and bend the resulting pockets inward. open it and press it in with your finger. You will get a blank similar to a diamond. Here's a diamond. Now let’s go over it like this, now the same operation that is distinctive from a lily - you need to outline the boundaries and width of the petal - bend the corners by 2 millimeters, leaving the future petal as wide as possible. Holding the side folds with your fingers, pull out the pocket and press down the middle. repeat this on 4 sides. We mark the bend of the petal by eye or with a pen and cut it off with scissors. see the result of the circumcision in the previous photo. (it was possible to bend the edges, but in this version it seemed to me that the petals acquired an almost natural bend)) we turn over the workpiece and bend the edges as thinly as possible. do this on 4 sides. for comparison - below is a classic lily with sharp petals, and above is a modernized poppy petal

Origami paper flower. Azalea.

In this master class you can learn how to make a beautiful azalea from paper. This paper flower is so beautiful that it can be confused with a real one.

Despite its complexity, origami azalea is still worth trying, especially if you want to prepare an unusual surprise for someone.

It is worth noting that the paper azalea consists of two parts: the flower and the stamen.

To start collecting a flower, you need to prepare 2 sheets of rectangular paper, which should be in a ratio of 2 to 1.

You can prepare a square of paper and divide it as shown in the image:

To make the main flower you will need a large rectangle (1), and to make the inner part you will need a small rectangle (2).

* It is advisable to use soft and thin paper, as you will need to make a lot of folds.

Below you will find a video tutorial on assembling an azalea in 3 parts. The flower model was created by Kalei Anne Lundberg, and the video tutorial itself was prepared by Mari Michaelis.

Origami curl flower

This flower is very easy to make. You can give it to your girlfriend, mother, grandmother, etc.

In fact, the curlicue flower consists of several modules that were connected together. Unlike other origami schemes, the modules in this example are not folded, but folded.

To make such a flower we will need:

10 triangular sheets of paper in two colors (5 sheets of each color)

9cm square stickers (you will need to cut them diagonally in advance)

Chinese chopstick (can be replaced with a thin pencil)

20 minutes of free time

It is worth noting that each petal of your flower must be rolled separately.

* To make your paper curl better, try brushing the edges a little with water.

When you have prepared all the petals, start assembling the model.

The inner petals need to be folded towards the middle, and the outer ones should be attached to the side edges of the inner petals.

Watch the video tutorial to learn more about assembling the flower. This paper flower was designed by Krystyna Burczyk.

Origami of paper flowers according to the Del Rio pattern

You can decorate any interior with this flower, and thanks to the fact that you can easily attach a stem to it, you can make a whole bouquet.

To assemble it you will need:

1 square piece of soft paper measuring 15x15cm or larger

About 20 minutes of free time

This flower was created by Ernesto Del Rio Jimenez. It is not difficult to assemble it, the main thing is to carefully watch the video tutorial presented.

* Try to make all the folds evenly, since after unrolling the paper flower they will all open up and its symmetry may suffer.

* If you want to make a stem for a flower, you need to roll a thin tube of paper, and then carefully cut off its lower part and insert it into the flower. You can secure your origami flower at the top and bottom using thin elastic bands.

Origami lotus flowers

Even though the lotus flower emerges from swamp water, after it sprouts, it looks completely clean. Therefore, this flower is a symbol of purity.

To make an origami lotus flower you will need a large square sheet of paper. It is worth noting that you will have to fold the leaf a lot, and each time it will become smaller, which means that in order to make it more convenient to collect the flower, the leaf must be rather large.

After assembling the bouquet, you can place the composition in a vase.

For a more harmonious composition, it is better to place short flowers in the front and long ones in the background.

DIY origami flowers. Poppy.

You can divide the entire process of assembling an origami poppy flower into 10 steps, which are listed below.

*Please note that the paper in this example is not square - it is a hexagon. You can use scissors to get this shape.

* You can use markers to give the flower a special color and add patterns. Since this is a poppy, the color should be appropriate.

* Make “valley” and “mountain” folds along the intended dotted line in the following order: valley-mountain-valley-mountain.

*When you have done all the folds, you will need to prepare a shape like this. To do this, bend the top along the indicated line, and then straighten it again.

* To form a flower, bend the paper as shown in the picture.

* Insert your finger inside the structure and “open” the figure.

* Now you need to make a “valley” fold in the place indicated by the left dotted line. Next, make a “mountain” fold along the right dotted line and repeat “valley-mountain” across the entire surface of the paper.

At the last stage of work, the petals of the previous flower - the lily - could be given a more or less arbitrary shape.

Another invention, the poppy, is built on extremely clear lines.

Large bright voluminous poppy flowers look great in a bouquet consisting of three or five items.

After cutting off the very top of the flowers, place them on tight straight stems twisted from strips of green paper and place them in an origama vase.

1. Place the square with the colored side up, bend it diagonally and turn it over to the other side.

2. Fold the four corners towards the center.

3.Fold the corner, aligning it with the marked point. Repeat with the remaining corners and turn the square over.

4. Fold the four sides over, aligning them with the center.

5. Fold the paper only along the indicated lines and turn the square over.

6.Fold along all the indicated lines.
Almost all of them are planned in advance.
The four dots marked with asterisks should fall into the center of the figure.
It's not as difficult as it seems.

7.Check the result and turn the figure over.

8. Bend eight triangles inward along the indicated lines.

9.Check the result and turn the figure over.

10.Fold the four triangles towards the outer corners until they stop.

11.Fold eight triangles back (the position of the fold lines is determined by eye).

12.Make the flower voluminous. To do this, first press on the center of the bottom and then turn the figure over.

13. Press on the middle of the sides of the central square.

14.Result, bottom view.

15.Side view.

16.Top view. If you want to plant a flower on a stem, cut off the top of the pyramid at its base. Now let's take a look at the leaf.
