Drugs

Good afternoon dear friends!

Since the summer is still hot outside, I want to share summer ideas.

Today I want to talk not so much about beautiful napkins with crocheted volumetric butterflies, how much about how to knit unusual volumetric butterflies.

I don't know if such butterflies with four wings exist in nature, but crocheted creates such an effect as if they flap their wings and fly. Don't you think so?

I knitted one such butterfly and decorated a knitted decorative pillow with it.

It will also look great on a baby hat and other children's clothing, you can decorate the bag and come up with other ideas.

But since we have a blog dedicated to home decor, let's return to our napkins.

Napkins with voluminous butterflies

I found both napkins with volumetric crocheted butterflies on the Internet for a long time. Apparently, they were published in a foreign magazine.

I walked around the sites where there are such napkins, I found one diagram of the central part of the green napkin, but there was no description of knitting and a diagram of butterflies for it.

I will try to fix this situation.

Simple napkin with bulky butterflies

We take any thin cotton yarn and hook No. 1.

Here you can experiment with color, but it seems to me that two colors must be present - the main one and for decoration. Napkins made in one color will not be as spectacular. Well, that's in my opinion, maybe I'm not right.

What I love about these napkins is their incredible simplicity. At the same time, they are somewhat unusual and so light and graceful.

So for knitting a napkin in green, the scheme of an ordinary circle is used, made with columns with one crochet and air loops between them. There is probably no point in doing detailed description his knitting.

In the 2nd, 8th, 13th and 19th rows, we change the thread to an additional (green) color.

The napkin is decorated with separately knitted butterflies. Here we will dwell on them in more detail.

Crocheting voluminous butterflies

I found many on youtube master classes knitting such voluminous butterflies... Someone, especially novice knitters, is interested in seeing this detailed process... You can easily find a video like this.

But it's better for me to knit, sitting in a chair, and have a pattern in front of me, and many needlewomen too.

I found the following pattern for knitting a volumetric butterfly:

But, even when knitting with thin threads with columns with two crochets according to this pattern, the butterfly turns out to be quite large and is completely unsuitable for our napkin.

Someone may find this scheme useful, I leave it as it is. And for napkins, we will knit butterflies in almost the same way, but with columns with one crochet.

At the same time, I also reduced their number in each row.

We close the 6VP into a ring.

1st row: 8 groups of three columns with one crochet and 3VP between them.

2nd row: Note that the knitting needs to be twisted and knitted in the opposite direction to the first row.

Here in each arch of the first row we knit twice 5С1Н and 5ВП between them.

3rd row: single crochet between two adjacent groups of columns of the previous row. And I tied the arch like this: 7С1Н, 2ВП, 7С1Н.

4th row: single crochet.

Change the color of the yarn in the rows as you like.

It turns out such a flower: it is not very beautiful and its edges are very folded.

But that's how it should be.

Now we fold the flower in half, so we have a crocheted volumetric butterfly.

You can also make antennae.

Tie a chain of air loops along the body length of the butterfly. The number of loops is determined by fitting. I got 8.

Then we knit another 6VP for the antennae and tie them with single crochet columns. Another 6VP for another antenna, we tie the RLS.

My butterfly turned out to be 6 x 4.5 cm in size. (Knitted from iris).

Napkin with voluminous butterflies and a flower

Here is another interesting napkin with voluminous butterflies, which are sewn to the central part by one wing.

I did not find the scheme of this particular napkin. But here everything is very simple - knitting with arches. You can use it.

The flower in the center can be knitted whatever you like. We will omit the story about him for now, since the main topic today was crocheting volumetric butterflies. You can tie a flower, as in the diagram of which was published earlier.

By the way, it is not necessary to make butterflies for napkins so voluminous, you can knit any openwork butterfly. we have.

Pattern with napkin butterflies found on the net, slightly sharpened corners for napkin. If you want to make your own butterfly napkin, I invite you to look at the diagram and, of course, I will be very happy if you like the ready-made napkins. Among the butterflies, we decided to relax at our Butterfly Farm.

Sitting comfortably on the soft and fluffy, flower petals and enveloped in a wonderful aroma, inflating the delicate wings of a butterfly, he forgot about the whole world.

Amazing butterflies? Why, even people who feel fear of insects respond positively to butterflies?
Admiration for these little flying wonders of nature seems to be genetically determined, built by generations of butterfly enthusiasts in our nature.
It's hard to be afraid of being so delicate, colorful and realizing our eternal dream of soaring trips.

How do you like this wing napkin? Do you like to watch butterflies? To have a good day

Today we knitted a butterfly napkin, and how many species of butterflies are there in the world?
Today, the world is likely to have over 30,000 species of butterflies and moths six times as large, with assets of over 3,000. They make up the second largest group of insects.

Is it a butterfly moth?
Yes, it's a moth Butterfly night. Butterflies are conventionally respected because of appearance and the time of flight - for daytime butterflies and moths - active at night. Moths tend to be thicker and more "hairy" and on a daily basis, butterflies are leaner and "less hairy".

Why do moths fly into the light?
Until now, scientists disagree about the reasons for this phenomenon. Apparently they have developed an evolutionary light navigation mechanism that serves in a similar way as a beacon for ships.

Do you want butterflies to fly at your house, and some even sit on your clothes? Everything is real and you can just crochet them to feel like a creator. To begin with, I offer a description and a knitting pattern for a classic butterfly. This pattern is crocheted, all dimensions correspond to a butterfly from nature, its wings are especially beautiful. Most likely, as my husband says, it is a swallowtail.
