Floresan solid oil fast tan. Tanning oil: how to choose the best. Sun cream: pros and cons

Gynecology

Floresan's solid self-tanning oil has the ability to quickly absorb and easily spread throughout the skin. One of the main advantages noted by buyers is that there is no need to worry about applying it in an even layer, because it literally spreads over the cover itself.

The tone obtained after use cannot be called yellow, or even a hint of it. However, a solid self-tanning oil will not have the desired effect on dark skin.

An artificial tanning product has several functions:

  • moisturizes,
  • nourishes.

Ingredients-oils that perform a caring effect:

However, the list of substances used in the production also includes alcohol., which has a draining effect and is absolutely contraindicated for owners of dry and sensitive skin.

Those who suffer from sensitivity and dryness of the dermis, in principle, should not use this remedy.... The fact is that polyethylene glycols, which this product is rich in, negatively affect the delicate epidermis:

  • substances, especially when exposed to ultraviolet radiation, form peroxides, which often cause various irritations and peeling;
  • even after washing off a cosmetic product, synthetic molecules interact with skin lipids, which is very harmful for dry dermis.

The use of this product is also not suitable for those seeking to use natural cosmetics or cares about the state of nature and the planet as a whole. The fact is that the production of PEG, polyethylene glycols, is not safe for the environment, because even if only components of plant origin were taken as the basis, the process of synthesizing PEG takes place with the participation of harmful chemical catalysts.

How to use Floresan's “Chocolate” correctly:

  1. Epilate the area where the oil will be applied. This is necessary so that the "Chocolate" is distributed evenly over the entire treated part and does not accumulate around the hairs. In order to injure the cover as little as possible, it is recommended to epilate about a day before using the product.
  2. Exfoliating procedures should be performed some time before applying the oil. Firstly, this is necessary so that the tan lays down as evenly as possible, and secondly, so that it lasts as long as possible.
  3. To keep the tone as even as possible, you need to use a moisturizer that does not have oil in its composition, and allow it to be absorbed before applying the "Chocolate".
  4. After the skin is completely dry, you can start using the self-tanner. Application of the product will not take long. The oil begins to melt immediately when it comes into contact with the surface of the body, so the distribution is easy and quick. "Chocolate" is absorbed almost instantly.

After use, you must follow some rules that will help to consolidate the effect of self-tanning and prolong it:

  • you should not put on clothes and sit on any surfaces for about one and a half to two hours after the end of the procedure - this prohibition will help not to stain the fabrics and not to smear the tone;

During the first water treatment, there is a chance that the water flowing from the body will be colored light brown. But it is not the pigment itself that is washed off, but only the excess of the applied complex.

An important point: immediately after the end of the distribution and rubbing in the oil, you need to thoroughly rinse the palms and the area under the nails, otherwise the product accumulated in these areas will stain nail plates in yellow.

Self-tanning from Floresan does not give an instant result and darkens the skin gradually, therefore, to consolidate the effect, you need to repeat the procedure every 2-3 days until the desired result is obtained.

The price for solid oil on the official websites is only 122 rubles, in retail chains is within one and a half hundred rubles.

Floresan is a cosmetics company from Russia that produces various products for face, hair and body care. Among the products of this manufacturer, you can also find such complexes that are designed to get a tan without visiting beauty studios. One of them is a solid self-tanning oil.

According to the Floresan brand experts, this product has the ability to be quickly absorbed and easily distributed over the entire skin of the body. Indeed, consumers who have experienced the effect of this cosmetic product on themselves note that one of its main advantages is that there is no need to worry about applying it in an even layer, because it literally spreads over the cover itself.

Moreover, one of the most important aspects of the product can be called the fact that the tone obtained after use cannot be called yellow or even hinting at it. Customers distinguish the composition from Floresan for this very reason, because many self-tanners leave behind the effect of reddish skin. However, self-tanning oil will not have the proper effect if the owner of a dark dermis is trying to tan in this way.

The manufacturer assures that the means for obtaining artificial tanning performs several functions:

  • has the effect of darkening the epidermis,
  • moisturizes,
  • nourishes.

All of the above actions can be achieved due to the composition, which the manufacturer carefully wrote in a fairly large print on the back of the jar packaging. The ingredients-oils that perform the caring action are as follows:

  • hydrogenated palm, which is the main moisturizing component for the body;
  • cocoa, known for its regenerating properties;
  • hydrogenated castor oil that retains moisture inside the skin.

The list of substances used in the production also includes alcohol, which has a drying effect and is absolutely contraindicated for owners of dry and sensitive skin.

Those who suffer from sensitivity and dryness of the dermis, in principle, should not use this remedy: the fact is that polyethylene glycols, which this product is rich in, negatively affect the delicate epidermis:

  • these substances, especially when exposed to ultraviolet radiation, form peroxides, which often cause various irritations and peeling;
  • even after washing off a cosmetic product, synthetic molecules interact with skin lipids, which is very harmful for dry dermis and has a detrimental effect on it.

It should also be noted that the use of this product is also not suitable for those who seek to use natural cosmetics or care about the state of nature and the planet as a whole. The fact is that the production of PEG, polyethylene glycols, is not safe for the environment, because even if only components of plant origin were taken as the basis, the process of synthesizing PEG takes place with the participation of harmful chemical catalysts.

However, if there are no problems with skin, but there is an irresistible desire to decorate your body with a pleasant golden tan, the tool will become a good helper to achieve your goal.

How to use "Chocolate" from Floresan correctly

Like any self-tanning products, Floresan's “Chocolate” solid butter has some application features that must be observed in order not to get the opposite of the desired result. To achieve a positive effect, you should adhere to the following sequence of actions before using the product:

  1. First of all, it is necessary to epilate the area to which the oil will be applied. This is to ensure that the Chocolate is evenly distributed over the entire treated part and does not accumulate around the hairs. In order to less traumatize the cover as mono, it is recommended to epilate about a day before using the product.
  2. Some time before applying the oil, you should remove the dead layer of cells. Firstly, this is necessary so that the tan lays down as evenly as possible, and secondly, so that it lasts as long as possible, because the renewal of dermal cells implies exfoliation of the upper part of the epidermis, that is, the one on which the product will be applied.
  3. To keep the tone as even as possible, you need to use a moisturizer that does not have oil in its composition and allow it to be absorbed.
  4. After the skin is completely dry, you can start using the self-tanner. Applying the product does not take much time, and even less does it take a large number forces. The oil begins to melt immediately when it comes into contact with the surface of the body, so the distribution is easy and quick. Chocolate is absorbed almost instantly, but this does not mean that you should rush to get an even tone.

Just as before applying, after use, you must follow some rules that will help to consolidate the effect of self-tanning and prolong it:

  • you should not put on clothes and sit on any surfaces for about one and a half to two hours after the end of the procedure - this prohibition will help not to stain the fabrics and not to smear the tone;
  • you do not need to take a shower or a bath within 5 hours after using the oil, because this way it can be absorbed much better and not wash off with the formation of especially bright spots that stand out against the rest of the body;
  • in the near future it is better to give up immersion in a hot bath and give preference to a quick shower without the use of washcloths and aggressive agents.

During the first water procedure, there is a chance that the water flowing from the body will be colored light brown, but do not be alarmed, because it is not the pigment itself that is washed off, but only the excess of the applied complex.

Self-tanning from Floresan does not give an instant result and darkens the skin gradually, therefore, to consolidate the effect, you need to repeat the procedure every 2-3 days until the desired result is obtained.

An important point: immediately after the end of the distribution and rubbing in the oil, you need to thoroughly rinse the palms and the area under the nails, otherwise the product accumulated in these areas will paint the nail plates yellow.

Cost of funds

Despite the fact that this self-tanner is very popular and has many laudatory reviews from consumers, its price can rightfully be called democratic: the official online store offers to purchase this composition for obtaining an artificial tan for only 122 rubles. Prices in retail chains may slightly exceed the one set by the manufacturer, but in any case, its average cost is within one and a half hundred rubles.

Tanning oil not only enhances the sun's rays, but also nourishes the skin. In addition, it creates a thin film that protects against burns. Considering that hot air and ultraviolet light dry out the epidermis, this remedy is essential on vacation.

However, you need to understand that not all oils are equally good at this task. Some of them can cause allergies. As for comparisons with creams, our main character is a lighter product. Girls with dry skin will especially like it.

The oil for has a small degree of protection, but still this bonus cannot be ignored. It is the protection against UF radiation that avoids the appearance of pigmentation and the first signs of aging.

Cosmetologists believe that it is oily cosmetics that provide a smoother and more intense tan. If your goal is a chocolate shade, then you should give preference to this tool.

As for harm, this information is still considered controversial. It is believed that the oil has too little protection, and the sun's rays only "fry" the cover. That is why doctors advise using this product after several days of sunburn. At first, you need to protect the body with cosmetics with. This will prepare the skin for more aggressive sunbathing.

Another disadvantage of oils is comedogenicity. The product is capable of clogging pores and causing acne. This is especially true for the face. If you have combination, problem or oily skin, then it is advisable to replace the product with something light.

Which tanning oil to choose

This issue is still the subject of great controversy. In general, there are only two types: natural and synthetic ... The latter you will find in shops and salons under famous brands... In addition to the main ingredient, they contain fragrances, silicones, preservatives, etc.

For example, silicones allow the substance to glide better over the body, while preservatives help keep the product longer. Unfortunately, all this, taking into account the perfume, can cause allergies and even dry the skin. However, manufacturers claim that these disadvantages are smoothed out by more effective protection from ultraviolet radiation. Which, by the way, is also controversial.

This is why natural oils are becoming more popular. They have no chemistry in their composition, they moisturize the epidermis better and are more democratic.

It should be noted that in Lately is very popular dry oil for tanning, which is absorbed faster. It is synthetic, but that doesn't stop those who love comfort.

The best natural oils

  • Sunflower

Sunflower oil is found in every home, so it is considered the most affordable. In addition, it contains many vitamins and nutrients... It has a small degree of protection, but it is not much inferior to other species. It's a great product when nothing else is at hand. After all, it is absorbed for a very long time, therefore it delivers a lot of discomfort.

  • Olive

This type is chosen by most girls, because it has a number of advantages. It quickly attracts the sun's rays and your tan is faster. In addition, olive oil incredibly moisturizes, tightens and makes the skin more elastic. It can smooth wrinkles and small stretch marks. A big plus is that this species does not cause allergies.

  • Coconut

Many people love it for its pleasant aroma that envelops and relaxes. But the main trump card of coconut oil is its high hydration and nutrition. It is better to use a refined product, as it is purified from impurities. This look will allow you to achieve a longer and richer tan.

  • Peach

Peach oil can be used both during and after sunbathing. It can be safely called an intensive tanning oil. In addition, the product boasts a mass of fatty acids. They nourish the epidermis and more actively protect it from the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation.

  • Carrot

Carrot sunburn oil is not commonly used. It's not about its uselessness, but about the unknown. If you want to achieve a more saturated skin tone, then you should pay attention to it. It can be safely called a tanning activator oil. It has a higher level of protection and an indicator for vitamins in the composition.

  • Essential oils

An even greater effect can be achieved with essential oils... Please note that they are only an addition to the base, since in a single form, the agent is considered aggressive. 10 drops will be enough for 100 ml of any cosmetic oil listed above. Walnut, mint, lavender, grapefruit and bergamot are especially popular. They not only enhance tanning, but also protect and moisturize the skin even more intensively.

Tanning oil for tanning beds

The fact is that in a tanning bed, the effect of ultraviolet rays is much stronger, therefore, protection must be appropriate. Sunburn oil will not do the trick. That is why you can only use special oils that are recommended for use in a tanning studio. That is, it is better to purchase a synthetic product rather than a natural one. Give preference, because it is considered the safest.

With specialized cosmetics, you will not burn, and will also save your skin from premature aging. Natural oil can only fix the result and additionally moisturize the epidermis.

How to use tanning oil correctly

If you have started tanning sessions, then use a product with a high spf level for the first days. Only after 3-4 procedures can you start using our main character. So you will save yourself from burns, and your skin from severe stress. In addition, the chocolate shade will last much longer on the skin. After all, sunscreen oil for tanning is a myth, because it does not stand next to specialized creams.

If you are going to the beach, then do not wash for several hours in front of it with soapy cosmetics. It erases the protective layer of the skin, so you come home burned. The same goes for scrubs, peels and hair removal. It is better to spend them at least a couple of days before the planned rest. Otherwise, even oil with good protection will not save you.

Don't forget about the dangerous hours. Avoid the sun from 12 to 16 noon. If there is no choice, then sunbathe under an umbrella and away from water.

By the way, after water procedures, the cosmetics are washed off, which means that the effect is reduced. In addition, the oil needs to be renewed every 3 hours, even if you are not swimming, but just lying on a sun lounger. This applies to both natural and synthetic products.

It is better to choose a highly protective oil for tanning the face, because the skin there is more sensitive. And remember to apply with clean hands to avoid irritation and acne.

A little life hack: It is much more convenient and economical to apply a tanning oil spray. Such products are more expensive, which is absolutely unjustified. Usually, there are sprayers on hair products, so do not rush to throw away the finished product. Natural oil or even synthetic oil can be poured into empty packaging, but in an inconvenient package. With such a bottle, you will not spill the contents and apply as much of the product as necessary.

Be sure to test for allergies before using your tanning oil. Apply a drop to the crook of the elbow and see the skin reaction after an hour. By the way, itching and redness can appear from just a low-quality product. It may even be about improper storage. Be sure to follow all instructions for use and storage of cosmetics.

Real example good tan in olive oil.

Oil is the most popular form of sun protection among girls who cannot imagine summer without a bronze tan. Back in the 60s, it was fashionable to rub with natural coconut oil on the beach. However, sun worshipers sometimes do this even now, preferring natural products, despite the fact that the beauty industry offers a wide selection cosmetic oils.

The first ever tanning oil - coconut

Natural oils have many benefits.

  • Creates an even, smooth coating on the skin surface, which attracts ultraviolet light, and thereby provoke an accelerated protective reaction of the skin, that is, sunburn.
  • Fatty acids in oils nourish and soften the skin preventing dehydration.
  • Vitamins, which are rich in oils, protect against free radicals.
  • The oils are characterized by moderate water resistance.

Natural oil could be a good tanning agent, if not for one significant drawback - a very low UV protection factor -
SPF 2-6.

Dermatologists recommend using sunscreens for everyone, regardless of skin type. And this means that frying in the sun, smeared with coconut oil, can only be afforded by naturally dark or already well-tanned people. Without protection, photodamage accumulates, which subsequently negatively affects the health of the skin.

Until recently, cosmetic oils for tanning also could not boast of a high level of protection, that is, they did not meet the needs of white-skinned representatives of I and II phototypes, poorly tolerating the sun. But progress does not stand still, and today tanning oils are able to provide even enhanced protection from ultraviolet radiation.

How to choose your tanning oil

There is only one really important criterion when choosing a Sanskrin - the SPF factor, which is optimal for your phototype and UV radiation level. Those whose skin is reluctant to tan and get burns quickly should choose oils with the maximum SPF value. These products are obliged to provide protection not only from UVB rays, provoking redness and burns, but also from UVA radiation - the main culprit in photoaging of the skin (the appearance of early wrinkles, age spots).

Features of modern tanning oils

  1. High SPF factor."The high index of protection indicates the special ability of the formula to hold a sunscreen filter on the surface of the skin," explains Marina Kamanina, expert at L "Oréal Paris." Such filters are complex and expensive, so they are used only in high-quality products. "
  2. Water resistance.“Regular sunscreens are moisturizers in which the sunscreen is linked to the hydrophilic portion of the formula. These products are comfortable for the skin, but they are quickly washed off with water and lose their effectiveness.
  3. Non-greasy texture. The so-called dry tanning oil is a special polymer formula. Such a product has an oily texture, smoothes and nourishes the skin, but after absorption does not leave a hint of shine. The skin remains dry, sand and dust do not adhere to it.

The water resistance of the filters is ensured by a special fat-soluble substance, which is included in the product with a high degree of sun protection.

Natural tanning oils: features

It is not uncommon for tanning oil manufacturers to formulate natural oils that have good penetration and protective properties.

  1. Coconut oil. Suitable for sensitive skin, it is quickly absorbed, creating a stable lipid film on the surface of the epidermis that protects against burns and drying out. Smells tasty.
  2. Shea butter. The second most popular "sun" oil nourishes the skin during sunburn and relieves irritation after prolonged exposure to the sun.
  3. Argan oil. It has a pronounced antioxidant effect, is well absorbed and appreciated by owners of dry skin.
  4. Monoi oil. Similar in properties to coconut, but lighter, absorbs quickly, softens and nourishes the skin, protecting it from drying out. Has a sweet floral scent.

Extra virgin olive oil is also popular among fans of natural products, which has a low SPF, contains vitamin E, protects well against dryness and is more affordable compared to exotic oils.

Composition of tanning oils

Finished tanning oil can be a mixture natural oils or contain them in the list of ingredients, but then the SPF will also be low.

This can be achieved by complex formulas based on mineral oil with special sunscreen filters that are photostable and water resistant.

The meaning of a cosmetic product for the general consumer lies in the combination of two effects: intense tanning and sun protection.

Intensive tanning rules

Oils for "intense tanning" most often have a low protection factor SPF 2-6. It is possible to recommend this remedy with a clear conscience only to those who are already well tanned or to people with dark skin who never get sunburned.

Even if you already have a bronze skin tone and feel safe, do not sunbathe from 11.00 to 16.00 when the sun is at its most active.

Remember that protection against type A radiation is recommended to prevent photoaging, regardless of the skin phototype.

Precautionary measures

Owners oily skin do not get carried away with oil formulas. © iStock

  • Intense tanning oils with low to medium SPF should not be used during the first days of your holiday. Start with products with a high SPF and only lubricate the skin after it has adapted, when the first layer of tan appears.
  • Owners of oily skin need to be careful with oil formulations and do not apply body oil to the skin of the face, so as not to provoke clogged pores. For the face, choose non-comedogenic formulas - these are also available.
  • Avoid getting the oil in your eyes.
  • Tanning oils, for obvious reasons, should not be sprayed near open flames, as manufacturers always warn about.

Overview of oils
for Tan

There are still a lot of tanning lovers, despite all the warnings of doctors about its dangers.

True, recently, various tanning products have come to the aid of sunbathing fans, the use of which not only helps to tan well, but also does not harm your skin.

A variety of sunscreens and tanning oils are now offered by almost all major cosmetic manufacturers.

From such a variety, eyes can simply scatter. Therefore, it is worth talking about how to choose the right product that is best suited for a particular skin type.

A beautiful tan without harm to the skin: choosing a tanning oil

Before you go to the beach, you should remember some of the recommendations of cosmetologists and warnings from doctors. So…

Very light skin requires extreme care when sunbathing. For "snow white" you need a product with a sufficiently high SPF value. Therefore, they are not suitable for tanning oils that are intended for already tanned or fairly dark skin, many of which have an SPF of 2 to 4. They should choose a tanning oil with an SPF of at least 10 or higher.

The following products meet these requirements:

  • Ultra Tanning Tan Deepener Dry Oil Spray Spf10, produced by the famous company Lancaster. Despite the average sunscreen effect, this product, due to its unique composition, reliably protects the skin from burns;
  • Protective Dry Oil Spray from the Golden Skin company is an original dry oil spray. Moreover, the manufacturer offers tanning products with a wide range of protection against UV rays. An oil with SPF 4 is the best choice for giving a beautiful complexion to already tanned skin, while a product with a factor of 20 is quite suitable for owners of white skin;
  • In the line of tanning oils from the famous company, you can find a tanning agent with a very high SPF (from 15 to 30). Garnier products are easily applied to the skin using a spray, all oils have a very pleasant smell.

Even those with dark skin should not neglect tanning oils.

After all, these products not only give a beautiful shade to tanned skin, but also protect it from drying out, thereby avoiding its premature aging.

Dark-skinned women who are sure that their skin is not affected sunburn, or those who have already had a good tan (for example, in a solarium) can use tanning oil with a lower protection against harmful radiation.

For example, very good remedy produced by the company, its Protectyl Vegetal SPF6, which contains afloa extract, macadamia oil and beta-carotene, prevents burns and at the same time allows you to give the skin a beautiful golden hue.

Those on whose skin there are numerous moles (especially if they are large enough in size) should completely abandon natural tanning. In this case, even if you are not too long on the beach without serious protection from ultraviolet radiation, there is a possibility of provoking serious skin diseases, up to and including oncology.

Of interest are the impressions of those who have already appreciated the advantages of tanning oils offered by various companies. Interestingly, most of the reviews on tanning products that can be found online are about Garnier's Ambre Solaire.

In particular, a girl with very white skin says that she could not even dream of a beautiful and even tan, she had to constantly use a sun protection cream so as not to burn. She writes that only Garnier's Ambre Solaire tanning oil helped her achieve her dream. If earlier she only managed to tan slightly, and her skin hardly acquired a slightly golden hue, then Ambre Solaire oil allowed her to tan for real. At the same time, she notes that this tanning agent also cares for the skin, because it is known that the sun's rays dry out the skin. She writes that it was only thanks to Ambre Solaire that she managed to get a great tan, which has always been problematic with her skin type.

She is echoed by another owner of "pale greenish skin" (her words). She said that she always had a hard time getting a little tan. For which she had to constantly visit the solarium, but after the birth of the child she stopped going there. However, she still has the desire to sunbathe, because a young mother also needs to look attractive. So she decided to try Garnier tanning oil.

A young woman who has tried Garnier products on herself noted the following advantages of this tanning oil:

  • the comfortable consistency of this tanning product allows you to easily and evenly apply it to the skin;
  • original brick red color;
  • slightly unusual, but very pleasant and persistent aroma;
  • excellent skin hydration;
  • the result from the oil was noticeable almost immediately: it was only necessary to apply it to the skin and stay quite a bit in the sun, as it appeared easy beautiful Tan;
  • reliable protection from burns, which is very important for her very light skin.

At the same time, she drew attention to some of the disadvantages of the product from Garnier:

    • not very convenient dispenser, which does not allow pouring the product in small quantities;
    • also, the oil is regularly poured onto the bottle, which is why it has to be additionally packaged so as not to stain other things when going to the beach;
    • the inscriptions on the bottle are quickly erased, and the paint dissolved by the spilled oil is very difficult to wash off the hands.

True, the girl notes that almost all claims relate only to the packaging of sunburn oil, and she has no complaints about the product itself.

Finally, a tip from a sunbather who said that she had been using sunburn oil from this company for almost four years and saw no reason to refuse it. True, she mentions that oil can stain a light-colored swimsuit, but considers it a trifle compared to the many benefits. In addition to those already listed above, she pointed out that when using this oil for tanning, it is possible to tan to a dark color in as little as six days. Moreover, the tan is obtained not only of a very beautiful shade, but also very persistent, and it does not "wash off" for a long time.

She also draws attention to some points that must be taken into account when using this tool:

      • Never apply sun oil on your face, as it clogs pores, causing inflammation and acne.
      • the possibility of an allergic reaction if the oil gets into the eyes, do not touch them with your hands immediately after applying the oil.

While this review is about a specific Garnier tanning oil, the last caveats apply to other brands as well.

In conclusion, it is worth mentioning the cost of products from well-known manufacturers.

Renowned manufacturer AVON offers a fairly effective, but quite inexpensive oil spray with good sun protection factor. A product made from several oils (palm, cocoa and others), which contains vitamins E and B5, as well as extracts of various plants, is offered at a price of just over 200 rubles, which makes it very attractive.

Firm NIVEA also produces an inexpensive tanning spray containing jojoba oil and other ingredients that moisturize the skin well. However, this oil is only suitable for already tanned skin, since its SPF is only 2. The price of NIVEA does not exceed 300-350 rubles (except for oil with SPF 30, the cost of which is close to 600 rubles).

The already mentioned Garnier oil is sold at about the same prices as NIVEA.

For products from Ives rocher will have to pay a little more. For example, sun oil with SPF6 will cost 460-480 rubles, and even more expensive with higher protection.

The price of dry oil sprays is even higher, which are distinguished by their ability to be instantly absorbed into the skin without leaving any oil traces on it. Swiss tanner Golden skin will have to pay about 2 thousand rubles. A similar luxury product from Lancaster will cost another 600-700 rubles more.
