Quilling paper lamb. Master class "Sheep" in quilling technique presentation of a lesson for an interactive whiteboard on design, manual labor (senior group) on the topic. For work we need

Mammalogy

Do you think that only professionals can create masterpieces with their own hands? No matter how! Quilling or paper rolling is not a new, but very popular type of needlework today. This art does not require large expenses: all you need is paper, imagination and a little patience. Using this technique, you can easily make a lot of beautiful and unusual crafts even if you are a beginner quilling artist. Even a beginner can handle it!

By the way, for those who are not familiar with this technique, you should start with the manufacture:

  • colors;
  • snowflakes;
  • animals;
  • paintings;
  • panel;
  • magnets;
  • postcards.

Do not try to immediately do complex and skillful work. It is unlikely that you will succeed right away, and you will immediately be disappointed in your abilities.

Lamb quilling lesson

We bring to your attention a master class with step by step instructions for beginners in making lamb using quilling technique. To create a figurine, you will need your material:

  • paper (special, for quilling);
  • PVA glue;
  • adhesive tape (double-sided);
  • cardboard sheet (dense);
  • scissors (can be curly);
  • ruler;
  • pencil;
  • toothpick;
  • twist (optional, replace it with a brush);
  • sketch or template scheme;
  • decorative ornaments (sequins, ribbons, bows).

And of course, do not forget about patience. If this is your first work in the quilling technique, you will have to try and show perseverance.

If you are unable to purchase special paper for quilling - do not worry! How to make it yourself? Very simple! Line an A4 size sheet into 0.6 mm strips. and cut them (diagram below). Quilling paper is ready!

As for the twister, a special tool for creating crafts, it can be replaced with a brush, knitting needle or any other thin but strong object. And now let's start making lamb quilling with our own hands!

Training

Let's start making a lamb using the quilling technique by creating a template. Take a thick cardboard and cut out a blank for a lamb (a figure is a circle). This form will become the basis of our product. In order to make it easier for you to work further, mark on the cardboard where the muzzle of the lamb, its eyes, ears and legs will be located. Well, for those who do not know how to draw, you should take ready-made schemes.

Main part

Let's get to the main work. Take special, already cut into thin strips, quilling paper. Of these, using a twist (or brush), make 10-20 free circles (curly hair) for a ram. If you want to get curls of the same size, then you should use a ruler. Glue the resulting blanks onto cardboard. It is better to use double-sided tape, as it is more reliable than glue to fasten thin paper.

And now let's move on to making the muzzle of a lamb. Take 3-4 strips of paper, and by slowly twisting them with a twister, you will get a tight roll (circle). Let's move on to creating the ears. From two strips we twist the circles, and give them the shape of droplets (picture under No. 1). Let's make legs! Take 4 strips and twist them into a circle. Give the paper rolls an arrow shape.

And now is the time to do lamb quilling hair. Take a strip of paper and make a fringe (cut the paper vertically to the middle). Wrap the blank on a toothpick, fasten the end of the paper with PVA glue. After, straighten the fringe. It will look like a small flower.

Decorations

Glue the muzzle, legs, ears and hair onto your template. And now the fun part - decorations! From two beads you can make lamb eyes, and rhinestones will be an excellent decoration for your hair.

That's all! It's so easy to make a lamb using the quilling technique with your own hands. And this is not all the possibilities of this art form! From the figurine you can make a magnet, a brooch or beautiful picture by adding a couple of elements.

I hope our mk s step by step instructions will inspire you to create your first masterpiece, and quilling will become your hobby. Here are some more photos from stylish ideas to create lambs using the quilling technique.

Video: A visual lesson on how to make a quilling lamb

Hello quilling lovers! I really enjoy doing quilling crafts, probably this is the only activity with which you can create anything. Using only paper ribbons (stripes), quilling crafts of unprecedented beauty are obtained. The texture of surfaces is very easy to convey using paper, and due to this, crafts look more realistic. Many who see quilling for the first time do not believe their eyes that crafts made only from paper, and to make sure of this, they try them by touch. As an example of such a quilling craft, I want to present you a sheep made of paper ribbons, fluffy and soft to the touch, cute and funny in appearance. It is very easy to make, and even a novice quilling fan can handle it. Use my sheep quilling craft tutorial with detailed description and step-by-step photos of production.

If you are making sheep for decoration for Easter, then I advise you to look through the section, where there are many quilling master classes of various Easter crafts.

Thanks for attention!

A great option for beginner paper rollers. Cute sheep made of paper will appeal to kids and will be a wonderful decoration for a child's room as a panel, bulk crafts or pictures in a frame. Combinations of monochrome images will complement the hallway or kitchen, and one small one will be appropriate even in the bathroom.

Template master class

The materials that you will need to implement the idea are included in the standard set of elements needed to work in the quilling technique:

  • paper tapes - width approx. 5 mm
  • twisting tool
  • scissors
  • pattern with circles
  • thick cardboard, as the basis for crafts

In this case, you can not do without the template of the selected animal. You can draw it by hand or print a ready-made version from those offered.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Cut the animal along the contour and paint the muzzle, legs. Then it will be inconvenient to do so.
  2. Stick the blank on the cardboard and separate the excess parts of the base to get the final shape.
  3. The main figure that will be used in decorating is a free spiral.
  4. Depending on the size of the lamb, make 10-20 rolls of different sizes from white stripes.
  5. If you need the same elements, a template ruler with circles will come in handy.
  6. Be sure to secure the edge of each part with glue.
  7. For gluing "curly hair" quilling masters recommend using double-sided tape, but simple PVA will do.
  8. Now we will make eyes from tight rolls. To do this, glue the ends of one black tape and two white ones. Start twisting with the dark one - it will be the pupil.
  9. If the template you made does not imply the presence of legs in the animal, create them from free spirals in the form of an “arrow”. Ears - "droplets".
  10. It is better to plan hair from smaller “curls” than those used for the body.

You have succeeded. Great job!

Other options for easily creating lambs using the quilling method

This cute animal is perfect for greeting cards for any occasion, as it looks appropriate in any surroundings.

Design the base on a thick sheet of paper by drawing a frame and margins. Twist small rolls for lamb curls and flowers. Add missing details. That's all - you got an interesting and unique craft.

The simplest option, consisting of only 6 spirals, can be done even by a child.

The compositions are countless. All for the sake of your imagination.

Decorate your card with rhinestones, glitter, rain, or the like to add some color to your card.

From dense spirals, you can create figures to decorate shelves or a table. The work is more painstaking, but it's worth it. A hand-made thing will surprise guests and delight you for a very long time.

Unique decorative elements will always be in fashion and will not become obsolete.

Lovely quilling sheep

There is nothing difficult in this work. And plus, it will take quite a bit of time, but you will be satisfied with the result of the work.

For manufacturing, you will need colored paper, the background of the field along with the sky (although it is possible to use any other), cardboard, glue, a black felt-tip pen to outline the face, and two sheets of white paper. Although it is not necessary to use colored paper(which will then have to be cut into thin strips), and possibly the quilling paper itself.

Before starting work, you need to decide on colors. We decided to use the following colors: white, black, red, dark and light green, orange. Now you need to make the base itself. To do this, you and I will need a sheet of cardboard on which we will glue the background of the field along with the sky with glue. When the background is glued, we put it aside (in the meantime it will dry well, it will not be bumpy) and proceed to twisting various parts from pre-cut strips.

We first take white strips, the width of which is approximately 0.5 mm, and begin to twist, while giving the strip the shape of a circle. When twisted, we simply glue them at the end so that they do not unwind. We should have these details with you different sizes. Approximately we need about 70 of them. Although their number will also depend on the size of the product. Roll up and set aside.

Now we twist the details from the black stripes. We need 7 of them. We also glue them at the end and give them the shape of a triangle.

But then we will make eyes from two black stripes. We simply give them the shape of a small circle and glue them well at the end. Then, in the same way as we did with white stripes, we will make details of green and red stripes.

When everything is ready, let's start the formation. In order for us to make it very beautiful, we first make a sketch on a sheet of white paper. Then, on another sheet, draw a head with a black felt-tip pen and cut it out, then stick it on the background itself. And start gluing the details on it. First, in the form of a circle, we glue white pieces on top and two black details on the sides. And last but not least, the eyes themselves and the mouth, which is cut out of a piece of red paper. Approximately it will look like this.

The head is ready, we make the body. To do this, we also paste a small circle on the background (we will cut it out of white paper beforehand) and paste white parts on it alternately. And at the back we glue the black tail.

The base itself is ready. But in order to make it look even more beautiful from black paper, we make small strips (they are 2-3 cm long) and glue them together with triangle-shaped details from below. Everything should turn out like in the picture.

But below we glue the details of light green and green. We put them on the way you like. Their number will depend on you.

And to make it look much more beautiful on the field, we make a flower meadow. First, we cut out strips of 5 cm long from green paper and glue them, and on top we attach a piece of red and orange color. It should not be round or even, we should give it the shape of a triangle. To do this, just gently press on both sides, release and glue on top.

To make it look even brighter, you can embellish with rhinestones or glitter glue.

The result will pleasantly surprise you!

If you have recently started quilling or this is your first lesson, it will be useful to familiarize yourself with the terminology and basics in this technique. We invite you to watch the video tutorial.

Practice creating simple decor. It can be used as decoration for future paintings.

Video master class “Sheep in the paper-twisting technique”

If you like Original gifts for the holidays, then creating a souvenir using the quilling technique will only require patience, because even preschool children can learn to “twist paper”. To make a sheep using the quilling technique, we need the following materials:

Paper strips for quilling in white and blue colors (can be replaced with colored xerox paper, cut into strips 5 mm wide)

Glossy blue cardboard (if you like a different color - change)

Wooden stick, scissors, PVA glue

magnetic strip

As you can see, there is nothing extraordinary in the list, everything is available. Before work, practice a little winding paper strips: we put the strip on the stick, press it tightly against the fingers of the left hand, and rotate the stick away from us with the right hand. The strip should wrap tightly. Then make another 3-4 turns, and remove the paper roll from the stick.

Master Class:

1. We prepare a sketch, cut out the body of a lamb from cardboard. We make notes for the legs and head.

2. We bend the white strips like this, then we wind the halves of the strip in one direction - these are the curls of our sheep, they will need a lot

3. Head: glue the blue strips into one long strip (about 1.5 meters), then wind it into a wide wheel, glue the end of the thick roll to the previous row of paper. We remove the wheel, carefully squeeze out the middle of the wheel - we make a muzzle.

4. Ears: We twist 2 strips into a roll, let it unfold slightly, glue the end of the strip. We take the roll, with the right hand we pull the paper to the side, with the left we squeeze the roll tightly, it turns out a drop.

5. Glue the ears to the head at the corners of the droplets, then glue the finished eyes and curl. We glue the head on the body, glue the upper curls, under the head a small beard. We glue the bangs on the top of the head, and in rows of curls all over the body, starting from the back - with a stick we slightly move the middle of some rolls

6. Legs: slightly squeeze out dense blue rolls - it turns out a leg with a hoof, glue strips on the legs.
