Macramé owl panel. Oriental hobbies. Amigurumi. Kanzashi. Macrame. Origami. Next, we proceed to weaving the lower part of the owl panel

Mammalogy

To create an owl from macrame, we need:

  • a thread of twenty-eight meters,
  • two rings, the diameter of which should not exceed 4 centimeters,
  • small piece of black cloth
  • branch on which the owl will sit,
  • PVA glue,
  • a button that will be your owl's nose.

Next, cut the thread of 28 centimeters into 12 parts by 2 meters 12 cm. And also 5 threads 30 cm long. Then we take segments of 30 cm, which we use as a base, fixing 12 long segments on 5 threads with a size of 30 cm, for To do this, use "1 mounting method".

Macrame Owl Pattern for Beginners: First, weave 6 square knots in the initial row. On the second row, weave the knots so that they are placed like pieces on a chessboard in relation to the knots from row 1.

You should have 2 unused threads left on both sides, from the rest you need to tie 5 clear square knots. Well, in subsequent rows we also leave 2 threads on each side. We continue to weave until there is only 1 knot in the last row.

In total, you should have 6 rows, tapering towards the center, arrange the nodes like pieces in checkers. Next, weave 1 row on both sides diagonally, from the edges to the center.

On the extreme threads, which should be 4, weave in a row on each side (each track should consist of 11 square knots), after which we bend the extreme four threads on both sides. Beak: on the central threads, which will turn out to be 4, you need to weave a line of 5 square knots, from which make a “bump knot”.

Then we divide the remaining threads into 2 parts, we breed them from the center to the sides, then weave them into 3 tracks diagonally (a small distance must be left between the rows, about 3 centimeters.

Next, we proceed to weaving the lower part of the owl panel.

To start, weave in a checkerboard pattern with square knots, but now, we will increase the number of knots in each subsequent row (now weave from top to bottom, where there will be one knot on top). We continue to weave according to the indicated pattern and in the sixth row you will get 6 knots.

For the next row, again reduce the number of knots for the next row should be 5 knots, and in the next 4. The body is ready. Now we begin to weave the paws of our wonderful owl: each paw is a chain of 4 square knots. Of the remaining threads, which should be 4 and which should be located between the legs of the owl - weave only 1 square knot from them.

Trim the remaining threads and fluff their ends. Let's get back to the rings: the rings are the eyes of your masterpiece, take the thread trimmings, cut 20 threads of 12 centimeters. And on all 2 rings, attach 10 threads in diameter, using the “2 way of fastening”. Attach threads with reverse side compositions. Fluff the ends of the threads again.

Learning to make a simple knot

The whole principle of this needlework is based on working with the main thread on which they work, and the working one (from which the knots of the pattern are knitted). The most effective is to use a chain from a simple knot. Weaving such a knot from two strands: left - working thread, right - warp thread.

A working thread is placed on top of the warp and wound under the warp thread, and the end is pulled into the loop. This forms a simple corner in the macrame. Then the right thread is placed on top of the left, wound under it and the end is threaded into the loop. So, alternating the warp thread and the working thread, either left or right knots are woven, from which a chain of a simple knot is formed.

For work we need:

  • floss threads of three colors (the length of each thread is 60 cm);
  • 2 beads (the hole should be wide enough);
  • threads for the base (length 15 cm).

Now consider the instruction macrame owl for beginners:

1. We fold one long thread in half and string threads for the warp on it. This way you get a small loop, like on key chains.

2. Here's what should happen:

3. We do the same with the rest of the threads. Mandatory rule: everything should be symmetrical in colors.

4. We fix the base with adhesive tape to the table.

5. Now we begin to weave the macrame owl. We take the last four threads.

7. The result will be the following:

8. We do these steps with the second four from the other side.

9. Getting to the middle. We set aside two threads on both sides and weave the middle four with tatting knots.

10. The middle should be a little shorter.

11. On those threads that remained intact, we string beads. They will be eyes for our owl.

12. We start weaving the body of the macrame owl. From the middle threads woven with a tatting knot, we take the two extreme ones. Now we interlace these threads with a tatting knot with threads on which beads are strung. As a result, our knot consists of one thread from the bead and two threads from the woven center. At the end of the thread, we do not intertwine with each other.

15. Take the following threads one by one and weave them to the middle. As before, do not bind together.

16. Then we take the following threads and this time we twist them at the end.

17. Again we take the following threads and weave at the end.

18. When we start taking the extreme threads, they do not need to be twisted.

19. We take two more extreme threads, weave to the middle and do not weave.

20. Now we will make macrame paws for an owl. As shown in the figure, we separate the two extreme threads.

21. We weave them with a corner knot.

Many needlewomen, having mastered the basic knots in the macrame technique, are trying to weave something interesting and at the same time large-scale in order to demonstrate their skills. Panel "Owl"

Such a panel looks appropriate in the interior of a children's room or in country house. A cute bird, made in white, will create a rainbow mood and, if desired, will be able to carry a functional load.

For example, by adding a pocket to the panel, you can use it as a decorative case for storing combs.

What you need for work:

  • linen cord;
  • 2 wooden sticks;
  • 2 large black buttons;
  • 2 yellow buttons (smaller than black ones);
  • wire for the base under the "eyes";
  • tailor's pins;
  • needle with thread;
  • scissors;
  • black and yellow markers.

Tip: if any instruction is in doubt or misunderstanding, it is recommended to focus on the step-by-step photo attached to each cycle of work.

At the first stage, 12 pieces of cord are cut, 2 meters each.

The resulting threads are fixed on a stick.

Starting from the left side, 4 threads are taken, with the help of which a flat knot is formed.

On the next four segments, another flat knot is made. The operation is repeated on all cords until the end of the row.

The new line is woven with flat knots in a checkerboard pattern.

It is possible to achieve such an arrangement of knots if you do not touch the extreme two threads, but start weaving immediately from the third.

With each subsequent row, the extreme two threads are not involved in the weaving process.

Work continues until a corner is formed in the middle of the product.

The leftmost thread is pulled along the last diagonal row to the corner.

The next row is created using horizontal nodes.

The same operation is repeated with the right thread along the corresponding diagonal.

In the middle of the product, 4 central threads stand out, on which flat knots are woven in the amount of 12 pieces.

Two middle threads are pulled through the hole at the top of the previously formed corner.

At the exit, the laces are fixed with one flat knot.

The owl's beak is ready.

On both sides, on the two extreme threads, “tatting” knots are formed. Seven on each side.

The two central threads are stretched to the right and left sides, forming an angle expanding from the center. Weaving horizontal knots.

Rows with horizontal knots are repeated four times on each side.

The central four laces are secured with one flat knot.

On each side, two threads are gradually added and flat knots are woven. Rows thus create a checkerboard pattern.

After all the threads have been involved in the formation of a checkerboard pattern, the work is divided into two equal parts.

On each part, flat knots are separately formed. With subsequent rows, two extreme threads are folded back to create a checkerboard pattern.

Then the thread is fixed. The other foot is made according to the same principle.

The laces coming out of each foot are divided into bundles of four.

On the second stick, horizontal knots four threads thick each are formed.

All threads are cut 3-4 cm below the stick.

A loop is made for hanging the panel: two cords of one meter are cut off. They are fixed on one side of the upper stick and are woven simple knots to the desired length.

Weaving is fixed on the other side of the stick.

Two rings are bent from the wire with a size exceeding the prepared large buttons.

The cord is cut into segments of 5 cm. Each segment is hung in a dense layer on the rings, covering the wire.

Buttons are sewn on the places for the eyes: a smaller yellow button is superimposed on a black one ( bigger size) and attached to the product with a needle and thread.

Prepared rings with fringe are sewn around the buttons. The eyes are painted over with a black marker around the buttons, and yellow around the edge of the ring.

"Owl" is ready.

The work can be improved by using embroidery with small beads of the appropriate colors instead of the usual markers.

A light sheen of beads will give the owl a mysterious look, while the panel will look more luxurious.

Thanks to the macrame technique, owls are created not only in the form of panels, but also as cute pendants, even key rings.
