1. First of all, you need to draw a template for a large heart, which will become the basis for the correct shape of the petals of our peony. The finished template should be attached to corrugated paper and cut out 8-10 blanks.

   
   

   
   

2. We put two wooden skewers or sticks together and wrap them with green paper tape - this will be the basis for the peony stem.

   
   

3. Now you need to give the petals the correct shape. To do this, each heart blank must be properly stretched in the middle. Then the edges of the petal should be slightly wound around the pencil in the opposite direction, as shown in the photo below.

   
   

   
   

4. At the next stage, you can proceed to the assembly of the flower. To do this, each petal must be wrapped around the stem and secured with glue and tape.

   
   

5. From green corrugated paper, you need to cut a blank for a leaflet, and then fix it on the stem with paper tape.

I must say right away that I stole this idea from another site.

Here's how to do it.

Cactus

You will need corrugated paper for the pot, flower and cactus of the respective colors; plasticine of similar colors.

We start with a pot. To do this, mold the shape of a pot from plasticine. From above, you can wrap the pot with a bundle of twisted paper or simply folded into strips of corrugated paper. Choose yourself.

The base for the cactus must also be molded first from plasticine and fixed to the pot with a toothpick. For trimming, you will need squares of green corrugated paper with a side of 15-18 mm and a tool (ballpoint pen, wooden skewer, toothpick with a sharp end cut off or another thin stick). Put the stick in the middle of the square, close its corner to the corner, crumple the paper around the stick, twisting it between your fingers to form a tube. Without removing the tubes from the tool, stick it horizontally into the plasticine, starting from the very bottom. Trim in rows from bottom to top.

If you want the cactus to have eyes, cut them out of cardboard or pick up something similar, as in the picture. In the place where we will attach the flower - make a flattened ball and attach it to the base of the cactus. Around the entire area fill with tubes.

For a flower, use strips of paper measuring 3 * 10 cm, folded several times. Cut out the flower petals. Putting the stick along the petal for 2/3 of its length, squeeze the petal around the stick.

Stick a stick with a petal into the disk, starting from the very edge. When all the petals are placed in a circle, fill the middle with tubes of squares with a side of 15 mm. Make a funny friend for the cactus. Here's a do-it-yourself craft for your beloved mom.
