Polymer clay. Roses. Master Class

Stages of creation work hours from polymer clay :

1. It is necessary to obtain a pale pink color of clay for making roses. For this we mix white clay with a small piece of fuchsia clay.

2. Stick a small piece of pale pink clay on top of the loop of a jewelry pin and give it the shape of a pointed bud about 0.7 cm high.

3. Form the first not thick petal of the same height as the base of the bud, press it between the palms.

4. Stick the petal to the bud. Then we make a few more of the same petals and stick to the bud in a circle. There should be small gaps between the tops of the petals; you don't need to press them too tightly together.

5. The petals for the next rows are made a little larger. After pressing the petal against the palm of your hand, place the petal on the sponge and press down on the underside of the tool with a small ball at the end.

6. Fold down the top edge of the petal slightly.

7. We make one or two rows of these petals.

8. In this way, you need to make 6 roses from polymer clay with a diameter of about 2.0 cm and 2 unopened buds. Stick the flower pins into the wad of foil.

9. Next, we make small white-green flowers. To do this, mix white clay with a small piece of light green clay. Form a flat circle 1cm in diameter from it. Make 5 indentations along the edges of the circle with the back of the knife.

10. Place the circle on a sponge or on the palm of your hand and use a circular motion to iron it down the center with a ball-end tool to form a concave flower.

11. Make 10 of these flowers. Lubricate the center of each with liquid clay.

12. Place a 0.3 cm diameter ball of silver-colored clay on the head of the jewelry carnation. On top of the silver ball, apply a little dry silver pigment. Prepare 10 of these balls with carnations.

13. Take one carnation with a silver ball, pierce the white-green flower with it in the center and put the flower on the carnation so that its center touches the silver ball. Prepare the rest of the flowers in the same way and stick them into a wad of foil.

14. Roll out the light green clay into a flat cake 0.2 cm thick and cut leaves 1.5-2 cm long from it with a knife or a mold. Jag the edges of the leaves with small scissors or a folded strip of metal.

15. On each petal, create a veining texture using a mold. Now bake all the flowers and leaves in the oven.

16. Place a bead hugger on the underside of the pinned rose. Bend the pin near the base of the rose at a right angle, cut off the excess length and twist the remaining "tail" with round-nose pliers in the form of a loop. Do the same with the rest of the roses and white-green flowers, only you can not wear bead hugs on white-green flowers.

17. Using jewelry rings, attach two pieces of a large chain of suitable length to the sides of the watch. Attach the elements of the toggle lock along the edges of the chain.

18. On one watch chain, attach three roses at an equal distance from each other and a bud, and attach the rest of the roses with a bud to the second chain. Attach white and green flowers between the roses.

19. Using bijouterie rings, attach the green leaves to the watch bracelet, distributing them evenly.

20. Now it remains to attach several glass transparent beads between the flowers.

These are my results. I think it will be great

In this master class, I would like to show and explain how, using polymer clay and metal fittings, you can make a bracelet strap for wrist watch... A wrist watch with flowers and other volumetric elements, designed in classic muted colors, will be able to preserve the spring-summer mood even in the most severe cold weather. After all, you can't argue that wearing a watch is not only fashionable and comfortable, but also beautiful and elegant, thanks to the skill of your hands and polymer clay.

Materials and tools required for sculpting:

1. Polymer clay white;
2. Blade or stationery knife;
3. Acrylic paint - gold;
4. Rolling pin or pasta machine;
5. Metallic powder or dry shimmery shadows;
6. Needle or toothpick;
7. Foil;
8. Paper napkins;
9. Brush;
10. Crepe paper;
11. A metal watch, a chain, metal nails with a head or balls, a carabiner, an extension cord.

So, let's start sculpting:

1. From paper napkins you need to form balls different sizes, the diameter of which can range from 5-10 mm. This will be the filling for future bells, with which we will shape future blanks.

2. Each paper ball must be wrapped in foil and stretched out its tail.

3. At the maximum thickness of the pasta machine, roll out white plastic and cutter round shape with a diameter of 1 cm, you need to cut out as many blanks as you made balls of paper and foil.

4. Each foil should be wrapped in a white plastic circle and smooth the walls of the clay so that it envelops the entire ball of paper and foil, except for its tail. Ideally, the edge of the head should be jagged and zigzag near the tail end of the foil.

5.Use crepe paper to create a nice texture for future bells. If you don't have crepe paper on hand, you can crumple up a sheet of foil and use its surface to make a texture.

6. In the center of the bell, from its most rounded side, make a through hole with a needle.

7. Near the torn edge of the plastic you need to apply with a brush either a metallized powder or dry, friable and shimmery eyeshadow. Now you can put the blanks of bells in the oven for firing. The products must be fired according to the temperature conditions and time interval specified in the instructions that come with the clay.

8. After firing, we need a container of water. We open the tail part of the foil and lower the blanks into the water. Wherein paper napkins become soaked, and they can be easily and easily removed with tweezers from plastic bells.

9. The foil will also need to be carefully removed from the blanks with tweezers. As soon as you remove the foil from the insides of the bells, you will see that the surface inside the blanks also has the texture of folds.

10. The torn edge of plastic bells will need to be painted with a thin strip around the entire perimeter with gold or silver acrylic paint.

11. For assembly, we need a chain, which we attach at the base of the watch with the help of metal studs with loops. We fix the bells in the chain links using metal studs with a head or with balls. Beforehand, you can put a bead on a metal nail.

An exquisite and timeless decoration in the form of a wristwatch - it's done! Since it is designed in calm pastel colors, it is ideal for both a business meeting and a romantic walk.

Monochrome clock. Polymer clay modeling. Master Class.

Let's try to make a watch that will not only show the time, but also become a wonderful elegant decoration.

Necessary materials:

- black and white polymer clay;
- mechanism for wristwatches;
- glass black beads;
- jewelry pins;
- jewelry carnations;
- jewelry rings;
- large chain;
glossy varnish for polymer clay;
acrylic paint black color;
- quick-drying glue;
- toggle lock;
- toothpicks;
- mold "universal sheet";
- rolling pin;
- round-nose pliers;
- pliers;
- brush;
- knife.

Stages of work:

Roll a sausage out of white clay a little less than 1cm thick and 4cm long. Then roll out black clay into a 1mm thick layer and cut out a strip about 1cm wide and 4cm long. Place the black strip vertically on top of the white sausage and roll the sausage on a work surface.

Lay the sausage on its side so that the black side is on the left and the white side on the right. And roll the sausage on top to a thickness of 2mm.

Cut the resulting strip in half. Fold both pieces together and roll them out again. Then cut the sausage in half again, fold both pieces together and roll again. Repeat the same 3-4 times.

Cut the resulting strip one last time into equal pieces and fold them on top of each other. Gently squeeze the sides of the sausage with your hands and roll it on the work surface to give it a rounded shape.

Cut the resulting striped sausage into 1mm thick circles. Form pointed petals from the circles.

Stick three petals on a toothpick, blind them to each other at the base. So make about 12 of these colors.

Take two identical pieces of white and black clay and start mixing them together until you have a piece of clay with gray streaks. After that, mold 12 petals 2.5 cm long and 1.5 cm wide from it.

Use the universal leaf mold to give the petals a texture, then slightly stretch the edges of the petals with a toothpick to make them wavy.

Now, from six gray petals, you need to collect a flower in the same way as we collected a flower with striped leaves. You need to make two such flowers.

Insert a jewelry pin into the lower side of the gray flower, cut off the excess clay with small scissors or a knife.

Use black clay to form 2cm long oblong leaves. Use a knife to make veins on the leaves. At the rounded base of the leaves, use a toothpick to make holes through the holes. You need to make 10 of these leaves. Now bake the leaves and those made earlier in the oven in accordance with the instructions.

After baking, polish the black leaves with a glossy polymer clay varnish.

Middle gray flowers paint with black polymer clay paint. When the paint is dry, drop glue into the center of the flowers and quickly glue one black bead at a time.

Take a black bead and put it on a jewelry carnation, then put a striped flower on the carnation with a bead, twist the edge of the carnation at the bottom of the flower with a loop of round-nose pliers. This way, attach the beads to all the other striped flowers.

Take a gray flower and loop the sharp end of the jewelry bun on the underside of it. If the pin is long, trim off the excess. Then use a ringlet to connect one side of the pin to the clockwork. Attach the second gray flower on the other side of the mechanism. Attach a large chain to the eyelets at the edges of the flowers.

Measure the required length of the chain and remove the excess by opening the links with pliers. Attach a toggle lock along the edges of the chain with jewelry rings.

Attach striped flowers to the chain - six flowers on one side of the watch and the same number on the other. Hook the flowers into the chain with the eyelets and pinch the eyelets with pliers.
