How is Maslenitsa celebrated?

The holiday begins with the obligatory invocation of Spring. This irony is a cover, it performs the task of correctly orienting the consciousness to perceive the sacred action, which should be perceived not as the horror of the death of Maslenitsa in the fire, but as a natural phenomenon of the cycle of events of Nature, as its departure to heaven. In this sense, the burning of Maslenitsa is a rite of overcoming the power of Death - a cleansing rite. The more alive the burning Maslenitsa seems, the more convincing the rite.
