In addition, during this period, he must engage in their preschool education, timely feed and put the children to sleep, and organize events that are interesting for children. If the educator notices any problems in one of the children, he must inform his parents about this and provide recommendations that should help solve the problem.

To simplify the work, a small group of children of approximately the same age should be assigned to each caregiver. And while the children are in the preschool educational institution, all responsibility for their life, well-being and health rests with the educator.

More details about their responsibilities

Job description The educator must have a list of his duties - both the management and the parents know about this, therefore, if a question arises regarding the duties of the educator, it is enough to carefully study this particular document so that all contradictions are resolved.

The duties of the educator without fail include:

  • Monitoring attendance. The teacher is obliged to accept the child from the parents, and at the end of the day to give it directly into the hands.
  • Conducting specialized classes for the development of children (improving motor skills, logic, etc.). In addition to the fact that children in kindergarten have fun and rest, a good educator must necessarily conduct interesting activities for children, in which children will develop.
  • Organization of games, events, holidays. In order for children to be interested, the teacher must know many games that are perfect for the development of children. Also on his shoulders is the responsibility of organizing different holidays and other events at which children will learn to express themselves, not to be afraid of the public.
  • Control over children's visits to doctors and receiving necessary vaccinations... It is the educator who is responsible for ensuring that the children remain healthy, and he has the right to insist that the child visit a particular doctor with his parents.
  • The job description of the kindergarten teacher also confirms that the teacher is obliged to help children change clothes, comb their hair, and go to the toilet. Of course, children should get used to independence, but the teacher is obliged to look after the child, help him and in no case allow him to look sloppy or be dirty.

Where can a teacher work?

For the position of an educator, both public and private, as well as centers can look for a person child development... For each such employee, a job description for a preschool educational institution should be developed. put into effect from the beginning of 2014, it should overlap with the job descriptions of educators, since it is he who allows you to standardize the process preschool education so that children have equal starting skills before starting school.

About professional skills

It is clear that the person who wants to become a good teacher, should not only be able to help children or organize a holiday for them. One must be able to find mutual language with completely different children, try to notice the problems and achievements of each kid, even if there are more than two dozen of them in the group.

The job description of the teacher states that it is necessary to possess the following skills:

How to Become a Good Caregiver?

A good educator should see in himself not a person working by profession, but a person working by vocation. But despite this, even the job description of a night teacher implies the presence of an appropriate education, so if you feel that you want to work with children, you should first get a diploma that will allow you to do what you love.

How to get a position as a kindergarten teacher?

Many educators who work in public kindergartens dream of higher-paying jobs. Higher wages are offered in private institutions, but the requirements there are slightly different. Of course, one cannot do without work experience, completed education. When you first try to get a similar position, you may be offered the position of assistant educator. Job description pom. a caregiver implies performing almost the same duties as a caregiver, but the pay will be lower. For a start, this is a good option, because very soon you can count on an increase.

What is the teacher not obliged to do?

The job description clearly outlines the responsibilities, but sometimes there are some situations in which the interests of the parents and the educator intersect, and it arises. So, parents can complain to the management of the kindergarten, although they themselves do not understand the boundaries of their rights and responsibilities. For example, if the parents are late, and the working day has already ended, who is responsible for the child: the mother or the caregiver? The job description does not imply that the caregiver is waiting for non-punctual parents, so you should not take his free time after work.

The mother is obliged to hand her child directly into the hands of the caregiver. If the parent left the child at the gate, and the baby fell or slipped, the mother is to blame, not the teacher. The job description states that parents are required to hand over the child from hand to hand. If the child came by himself, a supporting document must be drawn up with the signatures of the educator, and then - and one of the parents.

If the caregiver refuses the requirements of the management

Sometimes situations arise in which the teacher simply refuses to carry out the task of the leadership, for example, if he is required to make repairs in the kindergarten at his own expense. In this case, you need to refer only to your job description. If a similar clause is not spelled out in it, you have every right to refuse to carry out such orders.

What should the educator remember?

The job description is not the only document that regulates the activities of the educator. There are also requirements fixed at the state level (for example, sanitary and epidemiological). The educator must know clearly both his rights and responsibilities, remember that he is trusted with the most precious thing - children, therefore there is no place for frivolous and irresponsible people in such a profession.

A few more words about the profession

A good educator is obliged to love children, both their own and those of others, to show the children by their personal example what an adult should be. You need to be able to discern a personality in a small child with his own requirements, opinions and desires. In no case is a different attitude towards children from the same group allowed: everyone is equal before the teacher, he loves everything, believes in everyone.

If you want to work as an educator, do everything to become only the best specialist who inspires delight and the desire to be equal to him. Become that superhero adored by little kids, who will always protect and support.

As soon as the child begins to go to kindergarten, caring mothers are overcome with anxiety: is their baby provided with proper care in the kindergarten, is the teacher doing his job well? What are the responsibilities of a kindergarten teacher and what to do if the teacher does not fully fulfill his duties?

What are the responsibilities of a kindergarten teacher

In his work, the kindergarten teacher is obliged to adhere to the requirements of the job description, which regulates the activities of the teacher, his rights, duties and responsibilities. Thus, educators are fully responsible for the health and life of their pupils. The duties of the kindergarten teacher also include careful supervision of the pupils, carried out in accordance with the requirements of the instructions for the protection of the health and life of children, ensuring strict adherence to the daily routine adopted in the preschool institution and informing the head nurse of any noticed changes in the well-being of the pupils. Together with medical staff a preschool institution, the educator organizes hardening, preventive and hygienic measures.

The teacher is obliged to conduct developmental and educational work with children in accordance with the preschool program and the approved schedule of classes. In his daily work, the teacher must take into account the individual characteristics of his pupils, show tact and patience when communicating with children and their parents, and respect the personality of each child.

The duties of the kindergarten teacher include creating conditions in the group for the full development and education of children and improving the area for walking. The teacher must also, together with the physical education instructor and music director, organize holidays and provide interesting leisure for children. The job description requires all teachers of a preschool institution to clearly maintain pedagogical documentation and systematic professional development.

As you can see, the requirements for preschool teachers, on the one hand, are quite stringent, on the other hand, a number of provisions of the job description contain the possibility of a fairly broad interpretation. For example, the responsibilities of a kindergarten teacher include respectful attitude to each child and the manifestation of pedagogical tact in communicating with children, but there is no talk about the prohibition of certain types of punishment (we are not talking, of course, about physical punishment). And it is very difficult to measure the respectful attitude of a particular educator to a particular child, so that misunderstandings between the teacher and the parents are almost inevitable.

Responsibilities of a kindergarten teacher: what to do in controversial situations?

Parents often have complaints against preschool teachers: the child is poorly dressed or does not change clothes on time and is given to the parents dirty, the child is not given enough attention, he is forced, forced to eat, or punished for not sleeping in a quiet hour. Sometimes mothers on parental forums on the Internet ask: is it the responsibility of a kindergarten teacher to make sure that the child is dressed correctly? Who should you complain to if your baby's pants are constantly inside out?

It is better to first discuss your requirements for the teacher with the teacher himself and state them in the form of a request - this way you will avoid conflict and more likely be able to count on the teacher to meet you halfway. If we are talking about causing a child moral damage or cases of injury, then you will have to act differently.

In the event of damage to the health of a child, the educator's guilt must be proven. It should be obvious that the child was injured at the very moment when he was in preschool under the supervision of a particular teacher. The evidence can be the call of the ambulance brigade to the address of the kindergarten, the testimony of witnesses. If the teacher's guilt is proven, then the damage (moral or material) is recovered from the preschool institution, and the administration will deal with the specific teacher.

If you think that certain actions of the educator violate the rights of your child and cause him moral damage, then you should write a statement addressed to the head preschool... In the application, you need to indicate specific facts, describe the inappropriate actions of the teacher. You can also, on the basis of the facts stated by you, demand to punish the teacher up to and including suspension from teaching activities or ask to transfer the child to another group. If the appeal to the head did not have a result, a written complaint should be sent to the city's education department. Make a complaint in the correct form, indicating only the facts of unauthorized actions of the teacher and inaction of the head. Usually, contacting the Department of Education is enough for appropriate action to be taken. If there is no reaction, then in the event of child abuse, damage to health to the child while in preschool, or the presence of facts of illegal collection of money, parents should apply to the court. In this case, the respondents will be a specific teacher, the head of a preschool institution and the city's education department.
