Varieties and selection of new Eurocubes

The completely new eurocubes offered by us, both available in stock and promptly delivered to order, are by far the most progressive, highly efficient and environmentally friendly containers for industrial use for liquids, viscous products and bulk materials.

I. New eurocubes of imported production facilities are manufactured in accordance with the strict requirements for industrial containers for food and chemical products and are distinguished by their reliability, quality, variety of types of drain valves, components and accessories.

Our company offers a wide range of IBC brands from leading manufacturers, providing manufacturers of industrial or consumer goods, as well as processors of raw materials with the right choice of different types of IBCs, in order to meet the individual needs of companies in the transportation and storage of bulk products and bulk solids.

Eurocubes have the following distinctive features and advantages:

Modular construction principle, standardized dimensions and connections, interchangeability of components;
Purlin design: excellent resistance to vibration, for which the new UN test has become mandatory since 2011;
Stacking ability: up to 2 tiers when transporting, up to 3-4 - in a static state;

The design of the bottle (flask): made of multilayer (2-6) low-pressure polyethylene (high density, HDPE), with an optimal wall thickness of 1.5-2.0 mm, excellent mechanical strength, safe food storage, high chemical resistance;

The following pallet design options: wooden (with heat treatment), solid plastic (reinforced with steel), combined (steel / plastic), steel. All options are suitable for use on automatic bottling lines and when stored on racks;

Complete set and accessories: a wide choice of drain taps, sealing gaskets, screw caps, adapters and camlocks;
Versions (options): protection against explosion and fire, antistatic outer layer, additional protection of the product from UV rays and light, EVOH gas barrier.

When choosing eurocubes, such characteristics as dimensions, weight, design features, main purpose, offered prices, delivery times, as well as other important parameters should be taken into account:

Pallet material: wooden, plastic, steel or combined;
color of the inner PE bottle: white, transparent, black, less often - blue, gray, orange;
filler neck size: 150, 225 or 400 mm;
drain tap size: 2", 3" or 6", which can be either removable (replaceable) or fixed (integrated);
top screw cap type: solid, or with 1 or 2 overpressure valves;
bottle volume: usually 1000 l, as well as 640, 820, 1250 l;
type of steel galvanized all-welded lathing: round hollow tubular, round profiled, square tubular, square with 3 ribs, rolled bar.

For the correct choice of eurocubes, it is necessary to take into account the specific requirements for them, as well as the following factors:

The nature of the product being filled (for example, flammability, corrosiveness, contaminating nature of the impact on the environment or other properties that present a hazard), the density of the product and its chemical compatibility with the material of the bottle and the sealing of the drain valve;
transport legislation and terms of delivery;
storage conditions;
method of emptying, place of use, methods of cargo handling;
return of eurocubes, their preparation for reuse or disposal.

Once we have this information, we will be in a position to recommend you the right Eurocube model that satisfies all the necessary requirements.

Please be aware that the following types of Eurocubes exist:

1. Standard eurocubes designed for transportation and storage of non-hazardous liquids, products and materials, for example, Ecobulk LX or Ecobulk MX, WERIT ECOline.

2. Eurocubes with UN (UN) or DOT (UN31HA1/Y) certificates (permits) intended for transportation of hazardous materials (with the exception of Eurocubes, with 400 mm necks), for example, Mauser SM 13 UN, WERIT TOPline;

3. Eurocubes made from materials compatible with food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products and approved for use by European regulations EU/1935/2004 and FDA (Food and Drug Administration), USA, for use in industries where the highest requirements for standards are imposed product quality and hygiene assurance, e.g. Ecobulk MX FDA, Ecobulk MX-EV FDA, WERIT NUTRIline, Flubox Food.

The inner layer of the bottles of such Eurocubes is made of food grade polyethylene, which confirms: 1) the green label indicated above, located on the identification plate FOODCERT, which not only ensures the full compliance of the material in contact with food, but also gives a full guarantee of the safety of production processes and the properties of food products); 2) a green threaded cap on the filler neck of the bottle; 3) handle and green cover on the eurocube drain tap. These features make it possible to clearly identify food eurocubes and use them both for domestic needs (watering garden beds, a reserve of drinking water and shower water), and in industries where:

Beverage concentrates and syrups;
cold drinks;
liquid seasonings and sauces;
edible varieties of oils and vinegars;
dairy products;
fruit and vegetable concentrates;
enzymes and vitamins;
spices and aromatics.

At the end of 2013, the new Mauser FP 15 Aseptic was introduced for loading, transporting, with guaranteed sterility, and emptying of temperature-sensitive food products (fruit and vegetable concentrates, juices with pulp, pastes, dairy products, egg yolk, etc.), including products with high viscosity (honey).
In this model, the polyethylene container is replaced by a flexible bag made of polypropylene fabric, inside of which an insert made of metallized polyethylene film is placed.

Greif has released a similar novelty - the Eurocube Flubox Flex, which also uses the "bag in box" concept.

Schutz has launched the new Ecobulk MX-FC and Ecobulk MX-FC-EV, which sets a new standard in food safety and guarantees compliance with all available food standards for materials, processes and products.
In addition, Ecobulk MX-CC and Ecobulk MX-CC-EV are new products for applications where the highest standards of packaging safety and cleanliness for materials, products and manufacturing processes are required.

WERIT introduced the STERIline (Eurocube made of antimicrobial polyethylene), whose flask, complete with stopcock and plastic lid, is designed to prevent any microbial contamination of stored products by most algae, bacteria, fungi, viruses or molds and promote automatic self-cleaning. This prevents the growth and spread of pathogens that cause pollution.

4. Eurocubes, with multilayer polyethylene bottles, specially designed for use in hazardous areas 1 and 2 (yellow label), for products with low flash points, e.g. Mauser SM 13 EX, Ecobulk MX-EX, with new threaded flange and cable, as a result of which steel plates and a self-tapping screw are not required to ground the crane when using Eurocubes in hazardous areas, WERIT POLYex.

The inner layer of such eurocubes is made of food-safe polyethylene, and the outer layer is made of an antistatic compound, which protects the bottle from the accumulation of electrostatic charge on it during the entire life of the eurocube.

Eurocubes intended for use in explosive zones 1 and 2, in addition, can be electrically conductive or antistatic.

5. Electrically conductive eurocubes (certified by Cenelec) for transporting flammable (with flash point less than 60°C) or explosive products, as well as for working with them in rooms with an explosive environment (the conductive outer layer of black polyethylene of the bottle protects the eurocube from dangerous electrostatic charge, and a grounded drain valve discharges the electrostatic charge of the filled product) (Mauser SM 13 EX), or they can be with embedded carbon nanotubes, Ecobulk MX-EX conductive.

6. Antistatic eurocubes with a white outer layer of the bottle (Ecobulk MX-EX antistatic, WERIT POLYex, Flubox Elektron) optimally protect products from dangerous electrostatic discharge.

To eliminate the potential risk of an electric charge from the products being filled, Eurocubes are equipped with continuous grounding through a drain cock, crate and pallet.

7. Eurocubes with UV and visible light protection for photosensitive products, with bottles made of black polymer (Ecobulk MX-EX-EV conductive), white bottles (Mauser SM 13 LP (Light Protect), white (TiO2) or black ( black graphite, optional) (WERIT PROTECline), while a special white pigment reflects the sun's rays, and thus limits the temperature level inside the eurocube, unlike black bottles;

The special light-tight bottle is made from a material that is a mixture of polyethylene and an additive that protects products from UV radiation and visible light even in geometrically inaccessible places, such as close to a drain tap or top filler. Compared to Eurocubes with an all-metal frame, these Eurocubes have a decisive advantage.

Unlike conventional Eurocups, which provide light protection with black bottles, the white bottle reflects the sunlight and therefore limits the temperature level inside the bottle, while the black bottles heat up much more. This is of particular importance since many photosensitive products also tend to chemically react at such elevated temperatures.

8. Eurocubes, with a barrier layer of EVOH (a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol), which for a long time effectively protects the contents from the access of oxygen, carbon dioxide and nitrogen (thereby protecting products from oxidation, loss of vitamins and contamination by microbes), protects substances containing solvents such as toluene, xylene, gasoline, alcohol, as well as oils and lubricants, from accidental loss of quality, protects highly volatile products and aseptic liquids from leakage of aromas and odors during their transportation and storage (Ecobulk MX-EV);

9. Eurocubes for transporting products with high viscosity (paints, varnishes, adhesives, resins, foodstuffs like honey), which have conical front edges (Ecobulk MX-HV), a 400 mm filler neck and a drain cock DN 150 (Ecobulk MX) for the most efficient emptying of product residues, as well as new products (Ecobulk HX and Ecobulk HX-EX), with outstanding characteristics for emptying product residues by almost 100% thanks to the steeply sloping sides of the base of the inner bottle and a low-lying drain cock;

10. Explosion-proof Eurocubes (Ecobulk SX-EX), intended for use when working in hazardous areas (hazard class 1 and 2), have an outer all-metal sheathing (casing) made of galvanized steel sheet, and, therefore, electrically conductive, while its surface the resistance is less than 104 ohms, and the outer casing cannot be electrostatically charged, and furthermore, the product is provided with increased protection against mechanical stress and high temperature.

11. Unique fireproof eurocubes (Ecobulk SX-EX-UL), having an outer all-metal jacket (casing) made of galvanized steel sheet and designed to withstand fire for at least 20 minutes before the eurocube starts to leak (during sprinkler operation fire extinguishing system).

12. Mauser Repaltainer Eurocubes are partially made of recycled polyethylene (pallet and top cover) and can be used in extreme climatic conditions and withstand high levels of mechanical stress.

II. New eurocubes of domestic production are a worthy alternative to used imported eurocubes, have an optimal price-quality ratio and are offered at the best market prices.

Sometimes a justified way out, allowing you to save on the purchase of new eurocubes, can be to replace a used bottle with a completely new bottle, complete with a tap and a top cap (new, on order), while the crate with a pallet remains old.

III. Cubic corrugated containers, original analogues of eurocubes, are also available. For most applications, they are reusable, but sometimes they are especially justified when sending goods, for example, to remote sites or for a single receipt of cargo from a remote location, when it is advisable to use a disposable container (See corrugated containers for bitumen).

All new quality eurocubes can be offered to you at very competitive prices.

The customer service department is always at your service and will help answer any of your questions.

Cube containers made of polyethylene are currently in fairly high demand. This is due to the reasonable ratio of price and quality of products made of polyethylene in comparison with cubic containers made of other materials (for example, the price of cubic containers made of polyethylene is 2-5 times lower than similar products made of stainless steel).

Such products are used in various activities and management for the transportation and storage of various types of liquids - from food to chemicals (including those with hazard categories).
By production of cubic capacities the method of rotational molding is used. All production processes are fully automated, so the "human factor" and the risk of error are minimized in this case.

Rotational molding is one of the simplest plastics processing methods, but it is also one of the most efficient. This method is the only one that allows you to produce a product that is one hundred percent identical in shape to the customer's sketch.
The rotational molding method can be conditionally divided into three stages: laying of raw materials and heating, cooling, extraction.

Let's take a closer look at each stage.
At the first stage, the stage of laying and heating the raw material, the raw material is put into the mold placed on the rotational molding machine. The amount of raw materials is preliminarily accurately calculated. Further, the form constantly rotating in two planes is sent to the furnace, the temperature of which is constantly monitored. The polyethylene melts and evenly coats the inner surface of the mold.

In the second step, the cooling step, the rotating mold moves to a low temperature zone. Due to the constant rotation, the versatility of the product is achieved. the speed of rotation, as well as the temperature, is constantly monitored.

At the third stage, the cubic capacity is removed from the mold. And the process is repeated again.
Finished products undergo several types of strength tests.

Unlike other production methods, as a result of rotational molding, the product turns out to be of higher quality, strength and wear resistance. The cubic container is obtained as a whole - without seams, the wall thickness is the same at any point, and in the corners, where the product requires the greatest strength, there is more material.

The rotational molding method makes it possible to produce cubic containers of any geometric shape (square, cubic, angular, vertical, horizontal, etc.). It also allows you to make containers with a different number of holes, as well as with any number of embedded elements (including metal ones). In addition, it is possible to manufacture products with double walls.

Polyethylene bottom containers do not crack when stored in the sun, are heat and frost resistant (from -40 °C to +50 °C), are not affected by aggressive environments and corrosion.
In the West, rotational molding is the most common plastics processing method. It is used by Greif, Mauzer, Schutz. In Russia, this industry has only recently begun its development, and is represented on the market by Greif CIS.

Ideas for Business from the section:

eurocube or IBC container(Intermediate Bulk Container) is produced on German equipment in the workshop of the State Enterprise Soyuz from steel crates and low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE). Eurocube is used for transportation and storage of liquid and bulk goods (some consumers: food, oil, agricultural, paint and varnish, pharmaceutical, chemical industries).

Description:

eurocube consists of structural equipment in the form of a rigid outer package (steel crate, pallet made of wood or metal), which contains a plastic (polyethylene) inner container with service equipment installed on it. Eurocubes are made in such a way that the inner container and the outer packaging assembled together form a single unit and are used as a single complex unit that is filled, stored, transported or emptied as such. The inner container is not intended to fulfill the function of containing substances without its outer packaging.
Eurocube is intended for transportation and storage of liquid substances, incl. aggressive with a maximum density of 1.5 g/cm3 for containers without a UN certificate and 1.9 g/cm3 for containers with a UN certificate.
Eurocube has passed type tests for lifting from the lower part, stacking strength, tightness of seams under the influence of internal pneumatic pressure, strength of containers under the influence of internal hydraulic pressure, and tested in accordance with GOST 18425-73 Transport filled containers. Free fall impact test method. IBC containers designed to be filled only with liquids whose saturation vapor pressure is such that the gauge pressure in the container at 50 degrees Celsius will be less than 4/7 of the sum of the specified test pressure if the filling temperature was 15 degrees Celsius.

Design:

The shell of the eurocube of the inner container is made of high-density low-pressure polyethylene (PE 100). Shell wall thickness - 1.5 - 2.0 mm (depending on specification).
Sheath color:
– white (natural color of polyethylene)
- or any other on special order.
The container has a cubic shape. On the upper part there is a filler neck with a hole diameter of 150 mm, on which a polyethylene cap is installed, which can be supplied wife vent valve. A drain valve with a plunger or ball type valve and a rubber seal is installed at the bottom of the tank (the type of seal is indicated in the passport).

The outer package is a crate of galvanized steel hollow tubes, with a double type of tube fastening (welded plus screw) attached to a wooden or steel pallet with screws.
The upper part of the crate is attached to the main body with a screw connection and can be detached to replace the plastic bottle.

The drain cock is attached to the bottom of the bottle and does not go beyond the dimensions of the cube.

Eurocube is a special tank made of polymeric material with a bottom tray. The shape is made in the form of a cube. For its durability and practicality in use, it quickly spread and was used both in car washes, construction sites, and in the oil and chemical industries. And recently, in everyday life, there has been an application for this type of tanks. Durable polymers are used for the manufacture of containers. Recently, polymers have become very popular, as they can replace other stronger and more expensive materials.

Types of eurocubes

On sale in the markets they offer a wide variety of models, differing in different dimensions, material or volume. At the same time, it is possible to single out these parameters to the general characteristics:

  • External grid (crate). Almost always made of a rigid frame, with a pallet installed from below. Manufactured using steel. Some models may have wooden or plastic pallets. All this depends entirely on the purpose for which the Eurocube is purchased.
  • By shape almost always, these products resemble a cube. This form is most convenient for transportation or use.
  • The tank itself Made from durable polyethylene. The manufacturer most often chooses the brand of polyethylene PE 100 for the walls of the tank.
  • Wall thickness also depends on the purpose of use and most often the range is from 1.5 to 2 millimeters.
  • Colors. White is offered as the standard color. But at the same time, if there is a desire, it is possible to paint the eurocube in any other color.
  • Water drain valve. It is best to choose a model that has a ball valve. It is more reliable and will last longer. A piston valve is installed in some models, but it is not so reliable.

According to their purpose, Eurocubes are divided into:

A small number of companies are engaged in the production of such tanks in Russia, but despite this, such tanks are widespread due to convenient functions and wide possibilities for various applications. The most common is 1000 liters.

Why and where they are used

These tanks are multifunctional and it is possible to use them not only for large manufacturing enterprises, but also for ordinary summer residents. The second name of the eurocube is the IBC container. So named because the main purpose is to transport liquid substances, which can be both ordinary and aggressive. There are no analogues of these plastic containers that would be more convenient and would allow storing and transporting bulk and liquid substances.

The tank, which has a volume of 1000 liters, can be used not only by large companies for their own purposes, but also by ordinary people. For example, for arranging your life in a private house. The Eurocube plastic tank is very strong and very light, is not affected by even the most aggressive chemicals and can successfully withstand any weather conditions. All these advantages are achieved using the method of blowing or otherwise rotoforming.

Containers can be reused. But it must be borne in mind that if harmful chemicals were previously transported in it, then it can not be used for all purposes. In any case, the remains of harmful substances have eaten into the plastic and can be harmful to health, even if, for example, you water the garden from such a Eurocube. At the same time, if an ordinary harmless liquid or ordinary water was previously transported in a container, then it can be used for domestic needs. There are also companies that can wash and steam the eurocube of any size from 1000 liters or more.

Accordingly, depending on the goals, there is no need to buy a new container. The cost of a used plastic cube will be much less, and the effect is almost equivalent. If you buy a new plastic container, the price will be high.

How to use hand held tanks

These plastic tanks have spread very widely throughout the country. They are comfortable, versatile and can last for many years. In a summer cottage or in a country house, you can always find the use of a Eurocube container, in which 1000 liters. The main purposes of using previously used tanks are:

  • The use of a container for watering the garden with water;
  • summer shower;
  • septic tank from eurocube;
  • everyday needs, such as washing a car.

It is worth noting once again that such containers should not be used to store drinking water. It is not known what was in this tank before, and there is no way to completely get rid of the chemicals from the walls of the tank. For food purposes, buy a new container and then you can safely use it.

eurocube dimensions

These tanks also have standard sizes, like other similar products. All the necessary dimensions are indicated in the upper and lower parts, so that it is clear whether it fits or not. A container of 1000 liters is 1200 mm long, 1000 mm wide and 1160 m high. Of course, deviations of plus or minus 10 mm from these dimensions are possible. The volume is not less than the declared, and maybe a little more. Weight is about 53 kilograms.

The bulk of the companies that produce eurocubes closely follow the standard sizes. For this reason, if you want to purchase a Eurocube, it will not be difficult to calculate the dimensions and determine the number of required tanks.
