We knit women's tights with knitting needles. Openwork knitted tights How to wear white knitted tights: the eternal question - many variations

Mammalogy

Knitted tights are one of the favorite details in the autumn-winter wardrobe of every fashionista. Today Shtuchka.ru will tell you the most important thing about a warming and decorating accessory!

For the first time, these tights saw the light at the fashion show of André Courrège, more than half a century ago. But if then love at first sight turned out, now it’s already true love, durable and strong!

In fashion - warm knitted tights of various colors:

 • yellow,
 • sand,
 • black,
 • coffee color,
 • white knitted tights.

Of course, depending on the time of year and the weather outside, you should choose different variations.

For example, when autumn is not so cold, you can try on thin-knit tights. They will harmoniously complement the image and, in comparison with the same nylon ones, will warm your legs better.

For the winter, do not even think about it, but just take tights knitted with knitting needles. They are quite dense, but warmth is not their only advantage. Just look at the patterns:

 • in a rib
 • with rhombuses,
 • striped.

Such products resemble snow patterns, look incredibly cozy and, most importantly, they really warm. Now you can not think that with the advent of winter, dresses and skirts need to be hidden until better times. On the contrary, combine fishnet tights with high boots and warm outfits, also knitted from natural materials.

Only here do not forget to take into account your personal, personal features of the figure. If objectively your legs are slender, you can safely experiment with all the listed (and remaining "behind the scenes") ornaments. But if you cannot boast of perfectly even shapes, give up such products in which vertical stripes can be traced.

Are the legs full? Then don't even buy tights coarse knit. In this case, it is best to focus on thin-knit products, as well as those that are decorated with a small openwork scar.

So, we got to the main question - the compatibility of these wardrobe details with other things. If it’s hard for you to imagine what to wear knitted tights with, photos will help in compiling fashion images. It is enough to look through them to understand that there are a whole sea of combinations. The main thing is to choose your own, successful.

What to wear with knitted tights?

You are completely free to choose the stylistic direction of your image. Whether it's something romantic and gentle, dreamy, or free urban, a little "hooligan" style.

For a casual look, it is enough to combine tights with some short things. Shoes without heels will look good:

 • uggs,
 • boots,
 • high boots (on a flat course!).

For romantic images, light tights are perfect, as well as models of delicate, slightly muted halftones, for example, sand, coffee, soft beige. To these details of the wardrobe, simply add a dress - a simple cut, straight. Now, shoes. Let it be high heels. Not a hairpin, but a standard stable, “square”.

In the evening, of course, you can change such practical shoes for exquisite stilettos - a spectacular look is guaranteed.

Women's openwork knitted tights with knitting needles.

Thin woolen thread in 3 additions - 3 skeins of 100 g each (in 100 g - 1000 m).

Before starting work, we take measurements. Here are their parameters: the semicircle of the hips is 50 cm, the circumference of the leg at the ankle level is 23 cm, the length along the side from the waist to the ankle is 100 cm, the length from the waist to the waist through the groin is 68 cm.

Now tie two control samples: stocking stitch and openwork pattern according to the scheme. Calculate the knitting density from them. It should match: for hosiery - 26 loops in 10 cm horizontally and 42 rows in 10 cm vertically. If the density on your samples is different, the calculations will have to be adjusted.

We start work with the right half of knitted tights

We collect 130 loops on the knitting needles with an auxiliary thread and knit 4-6 rows of stocking stitch. We break the thread. We attach the main thread and, without changing the pattern, knit another 16 rows (hem for elastic).

The "corner" of knitted tights is performed by partial knitting. In work - half of the loops, coming to the back of the right side of the work (65 loops). The number of partial knitting techniques is determined by the number of edging in the segment ac: 8 rows, 4 edging. The number of loops in one step, therefore, is 65 loops: 4 edge loops, that is, 16 loops (we will add the remaining one to the last part).

In the front row we knit 65 loops, turn the work inside out and knit the row to the end. In the next front row, do not knit 16 loops to the middle, turn the work inside out and knit the row to the end. We work like this until we knit the entire “corner”, finish it with a common facial row, there are 130 loops in the work.

Pattern knitting pattern

We proceed to the calculation of the canvas to the gusset line: line AB = semicircle of the hips: 2 = 3 - 4 cm (allowance for step width), that is, 50: 2 + 3 = 28 cm. Since the hem for the elastic is included in this segment and is already connected, the calculation is performed for the remaining 26 cm. Line BB = 110 rows. It is advisable to provide an allowance on the back half of the part (3 - 4 cm), it is also knitted with the help of partial knitting.

Knit 12 rows evenly. Then in the front row we knit the first 65 loops, turn the work inside out and knit the row to the end. Again we knit 12 rows evenly, then - the first 65 loops, turn inside out, finish the row. And so we work until we knit the software of the rows. We will mark the loops of the last, 110th row with a colored thread, this will facilitate the sewing in of the gusset.

The segment BC is 26 rows, they are knitted evenly, the edge of the last row is marked with a colored thread.

We turn to knitting an openwork fabric. In order for it to match the work in width, it is necessary to make decreases: 130 loops of hosiery are equal to 120 loops of openwork, which means that you need to reduce 10 loops - in the wrong side, knitting every 12th and 13th loops together with one wrong side. After the auxiliary row, we knit with an openwork pattern of 66 cm, decreasing one loop at the beginning and end of each eighth (front row). We knit the last 8 rows evenly, we finish the work with the front row. In order not to get lost in the count, you can mark with a colored thread or a pin the rows in which the reductions are made.

The openwork part of knitted tights is ready. In the upper part of the canvas, it had a width of 120 loops, in the lower - in the last row - 56. This number corresponds to the width of 60 loops of the hosiery, with which we will knit the final part of the part - the sock. So, it will be necessary, when working at regular intervals, to add the missing 4 loops in the purl row. Now we transfer the work to the stocking knitting needles and knit the sock, as usual.

Before knitting the heel and toe, add another woolen thread for strength, and preferably an elastic thread.

We knit the left half of the knitted tights in the same way as the right half, but in a mirror image.

Knitting gusset

We knit the gusset as a rectangle, also adding an additional thread for strength. We collect 16 loops on the knitting needles, we knit 26 rows, we close the pegs of the last row.

Openwork knitted tights with knitting needles. Assembly.

Soak both halves of knitted tights in lukewarm water, gently wring out and let dry: the water itself “tightens” the knitted fabric. Baste the left and right pieces, then sew them with a vertical three-cotton stitch or crochet. Lastly, sew on the gusset. Iron the edge of the canvas (under-fold for the elastic) through two layers of damp gauze. Fold the lapel along the fold and baste along the front side. Weave the auxiliary thread, close open loops. Iron the hem, all seams. Pull the rubber band. Openwork knitted tights knitting needles are ready.

It is not at all necessary to knit winter knitted tights on your own or to beg your beloved grandmother to do it. Thanks to the efforts of the leading manufacturers of tights, this accessory has become fashionable and in demand, and therefore it is present in almost every winter collection every year.

What are winter knitted tights

To begin with, let's figure out what knitted tights are in general and what they are. The modern industry of tights and stockings has amazing knitting machines and high technology, comparable to the achievements in the space industry. Despite this, the store shelves are full of terrible-looking knitted tights and from completely inappropriate yarn. Does this mean that all knitted tights look miserable or (to soften the epithet) are only suitable for grunge style? Not at all: you should not assume that most of the unsightly options are all the modern variety.

Many are wary of knitted tights, and for good reason. Thick knitted tights will make already imperfect legs thicker. Thin people, of course, do not have to worry, but what about the vast majority of other women, including those who have only a wide bone, but do you want to wear knitted tights in winter?

It is worth recognizing that women are relatively rarely interested in winter knitted tights. For this reason, the assortment of most stores is scarce. Good, really warm winter knitted tights must be predominantly made of wool or blended yarn with the addition of cashmere and cotton.

Warm winter knitted tights: composition

First, let's deal with the composition of winter tights. It is the composition of the thread that determines how warm the tights will be, whether they can protect you from frost.

It is easy to guess that natural raw materials are more expensive, and therefore tights knitted from it, by definition, cannot be cheap. Many sellers, confident that for the vast majority of buyers the priority will always be the price, not the quality of the product, assure themselves and others of the imperfection of natural fibers. I must say that many sellers quite successfully propagate myths that woolen tights are quickly rubbed and covered with spools, that they shrink after washing, shed, and are uncomfortable because they prick the skin. If you intend to buy winter tights made of wool, you need to be prepared for the fact that instead of a product made from natural merino wool, you will be offered acrylic ones, and at the same time they will try to convince you that they are in no way inferior to woolen in their consumer properties.

Cashmere is a rarer and therefore more valuable raw material than sheep's wool. In fact, cashmere is the undercoat of alpine goats, fluff. Accordingly, cashmere tights are down tights. And down tights, by definition, should be soft and very pleasant. If the seller offers you to buy cashmere tights, and they are clearly prickly and faded, you should doubt the quality and origin of this "cashmere". It even happens that the name “Cashmere tights” is indicated on the front side of the package, and on the back, where the composition is, you will read the word “wool”. Producers who respect themselves and their customers always indicate the type of wool used, and cashmere and other especially valuable fibers will certainly indicate in the “composition” column in plain text, without the veiled names “wool”. Therefore, if “cashmere tights” are made of wool, and cashmere is not mentioned at all, then they are trying to blatantly deceive you.

It happens that winter knitted tights are made mainly of cotton. Such tights also have warming properties, but they lose in comparison with woolen ones.

Winter knitted tights: patterns

In all the variety of winter knitted tights, there are also classic options. There are only 3 classic patterns:

 • smooth knit;
 • ribbed pattern (aka "noodles");
 • sweater pattern.

The last option on the list, namely winter knitted tights with a sweater pattern or, as they are often called, sweater tights, become popular with enviable frequency. As it is not difficult to guess, tights got their name for the similarity knitted pattern with drawings of traditional warm sweaters, which have been knitted in the Scandinavian countries since time immemorial. If you are at least a little fond of knitting, then you can easily recognize “bumps”, “leaves”, “pigtail”, “rope”, “Christmas tree” ...

Sweater tights look especially impressive in white or ecru (creamy).

However, white and milky is already a classic color option for sweater tights. Don't be afraid to experiment with color! Bright colored sweater tights will look unusual and make you stand out in the gray crowd!

If you are afraid that knitted winter tights will add volume to your legs, choose the option with a ribbed pattern. These tights visually slim and, most importantly, they are very warm.

If you intend to wear ribbed winter tights in addition to your formal attire, pay special attention to their quality and the manufacturer's reputation. Pantyhose from an unknown brand may cost several times less, but their quality may be so low that you simply cannot wear them. We are not trying to scare you, everything can really happen that way. If you don’t have match legs, but ordinary, normal legs, with all the thickening and narrowing conceived by nature, then, as soon as you put on the newly purchased ribbed tights, you will immediately determine their quality level. Your legs will serve as an indicator in this case. The fact is that manufacturers of inexpensive products, for the sake of economy, knit the same width of the “pipe” along the entire length of the “legs” of future tights, and even the presence of a gusset or back insert will not solve the problem of naturally varying thickness of the legs. As a result, the hem will warp and the legs in such tights will look crooked. Agree - an unpleasant effect instead of the expected "visual harmony".

Meanwhile, tight-fitting and knitted tights, taking into account the natural anatomical forms, exist. At the same time, manufacturing factories do not solve the issue solely by adding a large number elastane. Believe our experience: there are tights made of cotton and wool, which contain only 2-3% elastane, therefore, it is only in the belt, and at the same time the tights do not slip, comfortably fit the body to the very waist and do not warp! You are probably asking where you can find these tights? You will find them in well-known European brands from the middle class and up.

Smooth knitted winter tights are usually thick and practical knitwear. Their main advantage is versatility. These tights can be worn under pants for warmth, can be worn as an addition to business suit with a skirt.

The fashion industry does not get tired of surprising every year with new and new options for winter knitted tights. We barely touched on the topic of multi-color options, but it requires a separate article! Undoubtedly, winter knitted tights have been and remain favorites in the Russian climate.

By the way, the fashion trends of the current cold season are clearly fluctuating in the direction of the interests of the inhabitants of the northern countries. Earlier, we already told you about the Prada collection, in which the basis of a significant part of the images was precisely.

Stockings go well with a glass of wine and badly with a visit from your parents.

I remind you that the products on which the knitting training is based on the machine are suitable for all brands and models of knitting machines, because they are knitted on one needle bed (fonture) of a fifth-class knitting machine.

The first steps of a knitter. Fourth lesson.

The first lesson was devoted to a sports (male, female, teenage) double hat called "Cockerel". He is located.

In the second lesson, you have a double baby hat with ears. Second lesson . And the work of students for this lesson.

In the third lesson, hosiery was knitted - women's stockings with an ornament.

And in this fourth lesson we will knit another hosiery and it will be women's tights with an ornament and a gusset.

In this lesson on working out the skills of partial knitting on the machine, using the example of tights, we repeat:

tying the fabric by twisting the needles, how to do it professionally, we look,

partial knitting create the back half of the tights,

hem (nakid) knitted fabric,

uniform reduction of loops on a knitting machine,

consolidate the ability to work with ornament and

hide the ends of the yarn in the fabric at the beginning and end of knitting the ornament,

join open loops and

WTO knitwear(wet heat treatment). We will fix all these "old" knowledge.

Let's add new ones:

knitting the gusset (separate part) and sewing the gusset between two stockings.

For reinforcement, the gusset is knitted with cotton thread (spool No. 40) in the color of the main yarn.

Learn how to sew a gusset into tights. Most often, it is this moment - how to tie and sew a gusset into tights - that becomes a stumbling block.

First, we will knit all the details of the tights on the machine, steam the open loops with an iron and then join them, as in golfs and easily connect the two parts of the tights with a gusset on the sewing machine.

What is the knitting density on the machine or at what density to knit with 32/2 yarn in three additions (different weaves) information here.

Why do you need a gusset in pantyhose?

Tights with a gusset are one of the hallmarks of high quality tights.
The gusset reduces the load on the middle seam in tights, ensures the strength of the product,
increases the durability of tights and gives comfort - freedom of movement.
For large sizes tights, a gusset is simply necessary, such tights will be comfortable to wear, they fit better on the figure and are less torn.

How to take measurements for hosiery and what you need to prepare to get started.

In order to knit tights on a knitting machine, we need to take a few measurements. Slippers (toe part),
as in golf, the measurement is not included. This is a separate item in the product.

OT - waist circumference. A measure is needed in order to measure the length of the elastic band that will fix the tights at the waist.

OB - hip circumference. Measured at the most protruding points of the buttocks. This is the most necessary measure for knitting tights.

CI is the length of the product. Measured along the side from the waistline to the middle of the bone on the leg. A much needed measure.

D C - the distance from the waist line to the plane of the seat, measured along the side from the waist line to the horizontal plane of the seat.
The person being measured sits on a chair with a flat hard seat. This is a measurement - a straight section in the tights that we knit.

Foot size - shoe size.
