Children's bookmarks for books with their own hands. Original ideas for creating bookmarks for books with your own hands Bookmark in the form of a dog with your own hands

Preparations

Children love to do various crafts from paper. Especially the ones they can use in Everyday life. Therefore, today we will make a simple bookmark-corner for a book. And since the coming year will pass under the sign of dogs, we will make a bookmark in the form of a dog.

For this bookmark we need:

  • colored paper;
  • colour pencils;
  • scissors;
  • glue.

From a sheet of paper of the main color (in this case, blue), cut out a square. The larger the square, the larger the bookmark will turn out. Fold the square into a triangle. We iron the crease.

It is important that the corners lie flat. Otherwise, the bookmark will turn out uneven and not neat.

Now we raise the right corner and bend it to the top of the triangle.

We do the same with the left corner. We get a rhombus with equal sides.

We iron the folds well and open the triangle back.

In the middle we have a double rhombus. We bend one part of it down, forming a triangle. We bend it so that the corner touches the bottom side exactly in the center. It is important that the corner does not go beyond the main part.

Raise the bottom corners again, forming a rhombus. Now lower the upper right corner down, forming 2 triangles.

We do the same on the left side.

Now we straighten the corners by lifting them back. We made a fold.

Now we will form the muzzle of the dog. Let's make a tongue. Cut it out of pink paper. We glue it. You can draw a vertical stripe with a pink pencil or felt-tip pen.

Now let's make the eyes. Cut out 2 identical ovals from white paper, then cut off one end of the oval in a straight line, forming an arch. From green paper we cut out 2 of the same details, but smaller.

And from black paper we cut out 2 the same details as the green ones, but only even smaller. Cut them in half vertically. Now glue the green parts on the white parts, and glue the black ones on the green parts.

We bend the tips of the ears towards ourselves.

No matter how fascinating the world of the book is, it is far from always possible to read the work “from cover to cover” at a time. The sudden ringing of the phone or the unexpected arrival of guests often make you stop reading at the most interesting place. In such cases, the most common ones come to the rescue. bookmarks.

Perhaps someone will say that making bookmarks for books with your own hands is now unfashionable. Moreover, there are countless variations on the theme of a cardboard bookmark-ruler on the market of modern printed products. But there is something subtly attractive in the perky face of a monkey or the long trunk of an elephant hanging from the page. Something reminiscent of the house and mother's hands that made this miracle. In addition, purchased bookmarks have a nasty ability to get lost at the most inopportune moment. Which, you see, is extremely unpleasant. Especially if this happened during the lesson, and the unlucky student has to leaf through the textbook for several minutes in search of the right page under the gaze of a disgruntled teacher.

To prevent such embarrassment from happening to your child, we suggest doing DIY bookmarks for children's books. These small "creations" will not only reliably protect the desired page, but will certainly cheer up their owner.

Felt bookmarks

Round bookmark Dog

This felt bookmark will be "on the shoulder" to anyone who knows how to wield scissors and a needle. To create it, you need felt or fleece in black, white and pink flowers, pieces of red and blue felt, glue, cardboard, thread and some elastic.

Using the template, cut out three circles (from black, white felt and cardboard) and the rest of the details. Overlock the two pink muzzle pieces and lightly stuff them. Sew a spot, glue the eyes and tongue to the white round part, sew the muzzle to it. Glue the entire white part to the cardboard circle. Between the black and white round part, focusing on the picture, put the ears and elastic, glue it. Sweep the bookmark around. If desired, you can bend and glue one or both ears. A felt dog bookmark is ready to decorate the cover, and inside there is an inconspicuous elastic band, which, nevertheless, reliably holds the pages.

Bookmarks Cat and Frog

I think one look at these two funny felt bookmarks enough to understand: they are made according to the same principle. You will need pieces of multi-colored felt, cardboard, a needle and thread, glue, a little holofiber for stuffing and an eye (half-bead) for a cat.

The algorithm of actions is extremely simple.

  1. We cut out all the details from felt (you can fleece) of the desired colors. If you want the finished bookmarks to bend less and retain their “presentation” longer, you can duplicate the body with cardboard or dublirin. In the latter case, bookmarks can even be erased.
  2. We make out the head. We sew to one part of the head and lightly stuff (glue) the eyes, muzzle, nose, cheeks, embroider the mouth, mustache (you can draw) and grind off two parts of the head with an overcast seam. Toward the end of sewing, we fill the head with holofiber.
  3. Sew the head to one of the parts of the body.
  4. We fold the details of the body with a “sandwich”: felt, cardboard (dublirin), felt and sew around the entire perimeter with an overcast seam.

Bookmark - Fleece fish

This bookmark is made using a mixed technique of appliqué and sewing. All parts are cut out of the fabric of the desired colors, and the main part of the body is also made of white cardboard. Actually, all other parts of the fabric are glued to it. Moreover, when connecting the details of the “sandwich”, you must not forget about the ribbon or rope to which the shells and the fish itself will be attached.

This cheerful dog will no doubt enliven the pages of even the most boring textbook. Making it will take no more effort than sewing bookmarks in the form of a frog and a cat. And the principle of its creation is the same.

Well, for those who liked such animal bookmarks, we offer templates, thanks to which you can sew a Hippo and Winnie the Pooh.

Happy needlework!

For adults, reading causes pleasure and aesthetic pleasure. But for children, this type of activity at the initial stage of their education does not seem to be something interesting and exciting. Therefore, today I propose to make a funny paper dog bookmark that will serve as bait for children. It will arouse interest and draw the child's attention to the book.

To make such a bookmark, we need:
colored paper;
Scissors;
Black marker.

Such a bookmark can be made from any color except black. Paper can be used both double-sided and single-sided. If one side of the sheet is white, then in the end the dog will turn out to be more interesting. Because she will have a white muzzle.
From paper of absolutely any color, cut out a square of any size. It depends on the size you want. finished product. In this case, a 10x10 cm square was used.
We fold it into a triangle, carefully and carefully connecting the corners. If somewhere the corners do not converge, then you need to cut off the excess paper.
Photo 1

The resulting triangle is folded in half. That is, we draw a fold in the center.
Photo 2

We unfold it again into a triangle and place it with the top up. Bend the bottom corners up to make a rhombus.
Photo 3

We turn the workpiece over and bend the corners up so that an even rhombus is obtained between them.
Photo 4, 5

Now we bend this rhombus down. Thus, we gave the dog's head a shape.
Photo 6

We turn the workpiece over to the other side. Slightly bend the bottom corner.
Photo 7

We get it double. We divide it and leave one part at the top, and bend the second back. If the paper is one-sided, then the triangle remaining at the top will be white.
Photo 8

Now we need to slightly bend the corner of the white triangle. Bend the corners of the ears down. It is important to fold the paper in the same way so that the ears are beautiful and even.
Photo 9

Now draw a nose with a black felt-tip pen. We just have to make eyes. You can cut them out from the pictures, or you can cut 2 identical circles white color. Glue their places and draw pupils with a black felt-tip pen. And you can use special eyes for toys.

This is how you can very quickly and easily make a bookmark for a book in the form of paper! Making bookmarks is very interesting and easy, so you can involve children in the activity. They will gladly bookmark their favorite books.

Materials and tools

How to make a bookmark for books with your own hands? Step by step instructions for children and adults.

Before starting work, we will prepare a sketch. I drew the dog by hand, the way I wanted.

Let's cook necessary materials. I will sew the dog in tan, or you can take black and white sheets of felt and make it black and white, or use only one color in the work.

Let's prepare the patterns. I circled the head and ears of the dog in my drawing. Transferred them to felt. Ears need 4 parts, head - 2 parts.

I cut out the details from felt, attached them to each other.

I did not sweep the details, they are small in size. I sewed a brown spot with a looped seam. I used orange threads for a little contrast.

I sewed together the details of the head with a looped seam. To give a small volume, I put a little synthetic winterizer inside.

The nose was cut out of black felt of arbitrary shape. I sewed it on with black thread.

I embroidered the muzzle of a dog with black threads with a “back needle” seam and grabbed a small piece of red felt by the corner to make a tongue.

For the base of the bookmark, I cut out a rectangle from cardboard with sides of 15 cm and 5 cm. From brown felt, two of the same rectangles.

Between the rectangles of felt, I put cardboard. This is necessary so that the bookmark can hold its shape.

She sewed her head to the rectangle, grabbing it only from two sides.

She sewed on her ears. I began to sew them on last, to hide possible flaws in sewing on the head.
