Factories

The main manufacturing plant is located in Dallas, Texas, USA. A second factory in Hangzhou, China, manufactures and packs products for the Chinese market. A third factory was opened in 1997 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, for the European market. The Swiss factory was closed in 2003.

Cars

In 1968, Mary Kay Ash bought her first pink Elvis-style Cadillac, repainted by a dealer in Mountain Laurel Blush pink. This publicity stunt was so successful that Mary Kay in 1969 decided to award five of her best sellers with pink Cadillacs at the expense of the company. Earnings from retail sales

Lawsuits

Woolf v Mary Kay Cosmetics
