Any home will be incomplete without cute little things that create coziness and a special atmosphere. You can decorate your home in a variety of things and ways. Someone prefers a rustic style, someone likes hi-tech or modern. Well, someone mixes several directions and gets an amazing and original cocktail. There are so many interior accessories for decoration that there is something special for everyone. V Lately more and more popular are topiary - small decorative items in the form of a tree with a geometrically regular crown shape. Initially, topiary appeared as a direction of landscape design. Trees with a beautifully trimmed crown have been known since ancient Rome. It was from there that the name of this decorative element came to us. Topiary was the name of special gardener slaves who were supposed to look after the topia - a separate section of the garden with trimmed trees. In modern design, a completely different topiary is used. He does not need a haircut, watering and other agrotechnical concerns. This decor element is not a copy of any of the existing trees. Beautiful and original topiary decorating houses, craftswomen make from a variety of improvised materials: ribbons, coffee beans, beads, sisal, paper and many others. There are no general requirements for topiary. The shape of the crown can have absolutely any geometrically correct shape, and accessories and materials remain at the choice of the needlewoman herself. Topiary can be placed on the floor, decorate a table or bookshelf. It perfectly replaces live plants, because all care comes down to periodic dusting off. In addition, a rich selection of materials of various colors, shades and textures will allow you to choose this decor element for almost any room setting. In this article, we suggest making some beautiful topiary.

Satin ribbon topiary

You will need:

  • Satin ribbons 2.5 cm wide in three different shades (two for flowers and one for leaves);
  • A piece of silver cloth;
  • White satin ribbon 1 cm wide;
  • Threads to match the ribbons and needle;
  • Stuffing material (padding polyester balls are perfect);
  • Cup;
  • Tennis ball;
  • A stick as thick as a pencil;
  • Pins;
  • Glue or glue gun;
  • Alabaster;
  • Lighter or candle;
  • A container for topiary (a large plastic cup or a small pot for indoor plants will do);
  • Decor elements (beads, sequins, sequins, beads).

First, you need to make a hole in the tennis ball. Dip one end of the stick in glue, or just cover it with glue and insert it into the hole. We are waiting for it to dry
Stir the alabaster with water until the consistency of thick sour cream. Now we take our container, fill it with alabaster and insert a blank with a ball. There should be another three to four centimeters of space from the alabaster to the edge of the pot. We leave it until it hardens completely, having made preliminary supports so that the workpiece is level. While our base is drying, we begin to make roses from ribbons. Take a ribbon 2.5 cm wide and place the shiny side away from you. Now we fold the right end into a triangle so that the edge of the ribbon looks down and the shiny side becomes visible. We turn the lower right corner to the left and make the tube one more turn to the left. We bend the free edge of the ribbon so that we get a triangle with a shiny side and turn the tube to the left again. Here you need to fix the core of the future rose with a needle and thread. We continue to bend and twist the ribbon, periodically sewing the winding. We make petals until a small tail remains. It must be secured with a needle and thread. Cut off the long tail of the rose and melt the cut line over the fire. The rosette is ready. You will determine how many of them you will need.
In order to diversify our topiary, we will make several leaves in addition to flowers. To do this, cut the ribbon into small rectangles and fold the upper corners so that they converge at the bottom, forming a triangle (see photo). Go along the base with a needle and thread and tighten it.
Now let's take care of additional decorative elements in the form of silver balls. To do this, we cut the fabric into squares, put a pad of padding polyester in each and sew the edges. There will be about 12 such blanks.
Our workpiece with alabaster by this time should have already hardened. Now we need to find the most successful, beautiful and best arrangement of each flower, leaf and ball. Pins are perfect for temporary attachment. When you decide on the places of flowers, you can plant them on glue. We are waiting for them to dry. You also need to decorate our stick with a ribbon on which the topiary "grows". The beginning and end of the ribbon, which we will wrap around it, must be glued.
Now we start decorating the pot, stem, etc. in our pot or glass, stepping back a couple of cm from the upper edge, we make neat holes at an equal distance from each other in a circle. Now we take the silver fabric and cut out a circle from it. The radius of the circle should be more than the value from the center of the bottom of the pot to its upper edge by several cm. We sew along the contour of our fabric with a thread. Try it on, the threads should go above the edge of the pot if you put it in the center. We place a pot in a circle, raise the fabric and tighten. We wrap the free edges inside the pot. Now we do two things at once - decorate the pot with sequins and sew on the edges of the fabric. To do this, thread a needle and thread into the holes that were pierced earlier.
Down under our tree in a pot you can put artificial grass, pebbles, beads, in general, whatever comes to mind. Topiary made of ribbons twisted in tubes You will need:

  • Foam ball;
  • Barrel stick;
  • Multi-colored ribbons;
  • Glue;
  • The capacity where we will "plant" the topiary;
  • Alabaster;
  • Pins;
  • Various decor.

We make a hole in our foam ball and insert a stick greased with glue there. Dilute the alabaster with water to the consistency of thick sour cream. We put our workpiece in a container and fill it with the mixture. If alabaster or gypsum is not at hand, you can use stones or any other weighting agent. Since the product will turn out to be quite light, it does not have to be firmly attached to the container. After the craft has hardened, we begin to decorate. To do this, we cut the tape into rectangular pieces. We wind these segments on the finger, forming tubes. Now we take such a tube, pierce with a pin with a cap from the inside out so as to capture both ends of the ribbon. We stick such structures into a foam ball, trying not to leave gaps.
It remains only to decorate our topiary according to your desire and taste, for example, with paper frost or cutting pieces of ribbons. Topiary made of satin ribbons rolled with roses Very warm, chocolate, coffee and milky colors of ribbons for roses, favorably set off with a light purple or light lilac ribbon, from which we will make bows. You will need:

  • Satin ribbons different colors(white, golden beige, bronze and chocolate for flowers, green for leaves);
  • Cardboard;
  • Threads to match the ribbons + needle;
  • Glue (instant and PVA);
  • Burner (if not, then a lighter or candle);
  • Balloon;
  • Thick cotton threads (threads for knitting work well);
  • Capacity;
  • Scotch;
  • Decorative items;
  • Crochet hook.

Before proceeding with the creation of the topiary, we will need to make the basis for the future crown. To do this, we inflate the ball, grease it with something greasy, for example, cream and wrap it with cotton threads, having previously soaked them with PVA glue. If the glue is very thick, you can dilute it slightly with water. Now you need to wait until the glue is completely dry. This can take from 24 to 48 hours, depending on the size of the workpiece and the thickness of the winding. Now we blow off the ball, and our base under the crown is ready.
Now we cut out the leaves from the green ribbon. If you do this with a burner, then melting the edges so that they do not fluff is not required. Don't be discouraged if you don't find such a tool. Just cut out the leaves with scissors and run the edges over the candle or lighter.
Now let's get down to the satin ribbon roses. We need to cut the cardboard into square pieces measuring 3 x 3 cm and 5 x 5 cm. The cardboard should be dense. Now we need to embroider something like a snowflake with threads. The number of "rays" must be odd. In the center, you need to make a hole without catching the threads, so that you can thread the tape. We begin to roll the rose. To do this, we pass the ribbon through the hole, twist it a little and pass it through one of the "rays", we twist it again, etc. (see photo). Use a crochet hook to make it easier to work. Do not overtighten the ribbon. Loose loops look more floral, voluminous and organic. Now you need to thread the end of the ribbon through the central hole to the wrong side. Sew the ends of the ribbons. We cut the cardboard in such a way that it is not noticeable from the face. We glue a couple of leaves and the rose is ready.
There is no need to make flowers of the same size, let them be different.
We begin to glue the flowers to the base. Combine a number of roses of different sizes... In order to make the trunk of the topiary, you need to twist the cardboard into a tight tube and secure it well with tape. The diameter of the tube should be slightly larger than the diameter of the crown blank.
First we wrap it with a chocolate-colored ribbon, and then glue purple or lilac ribbons to the tube on top. We attach our workpiece to it. Now you can "plant" our topiary in any pot you like and decorate with beads, small bows from a lilac or purple ribbon. Miniature topiary in a cup We've done enough before voluminous topiary, but in this master class we will make a very small topiary, which we will place in a cup. You will need:

  • Satin ribbons in different colors 2.5 cm wide;
  • Pieces of green organza;
  • Glue (glue gun);
  • Wire (thick 3 - 5 mm);
  • Lighter or candle;
  • Tweezers;
  • A cup or other small container;
  • The basis for the crown (Christmas tree ball);
  • Elements for decoration (beads, sequins, etc.).

The first step is to prepare the petals. To do this, we cut the ribbons into squares. The edge sides of the ribbon should be the right and lava side of the squares, and the top and bottom should be cut-off. You can first cut out a piece of paper, then fold a few squares into a pile and cut out many blanks at once. Fuse the rounded side from above over the fire, so that the petal is slightly curved with the front shiny side outward. For one flower, on average, 9 - 13 petals are needed.
It's time to make flowers. It is necessary to roll one petal into a tube with the shiny side out. We take the second petal. Apply a drop of glue to the shiny side and wrap our middle tube in it. The second petal should be slightly taller than the first. We take the third petal, again drip glue onto the shiny outer side and wrap our blank in it. The petals are staggered, i.e., the edges of the previous one are closed by the middle of the next one. We glue all the flowers in this way.
On the tails, I will evenly cut off the extra strings that are frayed and melt over the fire. Let's start creating the base for the crown. We take our wire and bend it, as fantasy tells us. We glue the ball and wrap the entire barrel with green tape.
Now we glue our roses to the ball with a gun. In those places where the base can be seen, pieces of green organza can be glued. She will replace the leaves for us. Now it remains only to attach the topiary in the container. To do this, you can fold a loop at the free end of the wire and unfold it perpendicularly. We glue it into a cup. Decorate the top with green organza, beads and bows.

There are countless types of modern handicrafts. So, a fascinating activity, thanks to which amazing souvenirs are born, is the technique of topiary. Miniature flower trees made of iridescent satin will be a great gift for a colleague, girlfriend or relative.

How to make a topiary with your own hands

Today, the technique is used to decorate a room and create souvenirs, and earlier this art consisted in giving clear geometric shapes to garden plants. This type of needlework has gained particular popularity with the use of satin ribbons, but some of them for beautiful crafts not enough. Intricate trees and spherical flower arrangements are decorated with beads, buttons, beads and other elements, often decorated with pieces of organza or tulle. Craftswomen do not miss the opportunity to experiment, creating new master classes.

The main rule in the manufacture of topiary is that the proportions of the product should not change depending on the size: for example, the crown of the tree should exceed the size of the workpiece to which the trunk is attached. But the capacity of the container in which your tree will "grow" should not be more than the average size of the crown. The height of the craft should be made such that it is equal to three diameters of the spherical crown. The satin container should be weighted down to prevent the structure from toppling over.

How to make a topiary from ribbons with your own hands with roses

To create a beautiful tree, you need to have the following tools:

  • decorative pot or cup;
  • satin ribbons of different shades, the width of each should be 2.5 cm;
  • foam ball;
  • wire for trunks and ribbons to decorate;
  • decorative beads:
  • glue gun;
  • a solution of gypsum and water.

A master class that will help every novice lover of needlework to make a tree with his own hands:

  1. Prepare ribbons, which will then turn into roses. Cut each into strips 30-40 cm in length, depending on the size of the flower you want. Singe the edges to make them stronger.
  2. Place the pieces with the smooth side towards you, bend the corners of each, twist, forming a rose. Secure the remaining end with glue at the bottom of the flower.
  3. Attach the finished flowers one by one to the base - a foam ball.
  4. Wrap the trunk wire with a satin fabric, secure with glue and insert into a ball with roses.
  5. Fill a decorative pot (or cup) with a mixture of plaster and water, then insert the trunk of a rose tree.
  6. Decorate the container with ribbons, beads, and put decorative stones on the plaster.

How to make a tree from satin ribbons using the kanzashi technique

Topiary in the form of a sunflower, which is performed using the kanzashi technique, looks original. So, the manufacturing process is as follows:

  1. Take a yellow satin fabric that is 5 centimeters wide and cut into 6-7 centimeters long pieces. The blanks, which will serve as leaves and petals, should be about fifty pieces.
  2. Bend each of them along and cut on one side, achieving a sharp corner. After turning the ends of the products, glue them.
  3. Cover the foam base of the ball with coffee beans, imitating sunflower seeds.
  4. The stem of the flower will be a wire inserted into a ball. First, it must be covered with green paint, and then covered with material of the same color.
  5. From the junction of the ball with the stem, begin to glue the sunflower petals, which were made using the kanzashi technique.
  6. Place gypsum in the pot, insert the topiary and fill the remaining space with the same mixture.

Organza and satin ribbon topiary

Using these materials, you will create a decorative tree that differs from the rest of the topiary in its chic appearance. Topiary made of satin ribbons, which will complement the interior decor of the house, is very simple to make:

  1. Cut 7x7 cm squares from pieces of organza with scissors. If you don't want to measure, then cut it by eye.
  2. Place one square on top of another for a total of six corners. Bend the workpiece in half, and lower part fasten with a stapler. In the absence of a tool, the material can be sewn with a needle and thread.
  3. Attach a wire to the ball, this will serve as the barrel.
  4. Dissolve the gypsum and pour it inside the pot, then insert the wire there.
  5. The formation of the crown is to put artificial organza feathers on glue, and insert several satin roses points.
  6. Decorate the craft with beads, lace.

Topiary is an opportunity for a needlewoman to realize herself and surprise her relatives and friends. After all, topiary today is an extraordinary and very popular gift. Topiary made of satin ribbons is a beautiful souvenir that keeps the warmth of your hands and attracts happiness to your home. You can make this rose tree in a few hours, and it will delight you for not a single year! Topiary from ribbons looks very elegant. In this master class, we will take a closer look at the process of making such a tree of happiness from flowers with our own hands.

In order to make a topiary from ribbons with our own hands, we need:

  • red and white satin ribbons for flowers,
  • ribbons of green shades,
  • polymer glue,
  • threads with a needle,
  • plaster of paris (alabaster),
  • flower pot or pots,
  • a twig from a tree,
  • spray can of gold paint,
  • newspaper,
  • a net for flowers and a bow.

Making the base for the crown

You can use a ready-made foam ball as a base ball, but in this master class we will make a base with our own hands. To do this, take a few newspaper sheets and carefully knit them together to get a rounded shape.

Now we will entangle the ball with a thread in a chaotic manner to secure it. Before this, the thread can be moistened in PVA glue.

Making roses from satin ribbons

We bend again, but towards ourselves, capturing the corner of the previous bend.

We do this until the ribbon runs out, twist the satin into a bud, bending the ribbon towards ourselves at an angle of 90 degrees.

At the end, we sew all the petals at the base with a thread and a needle and straighten the rose.

In this way, we harvest 28 colors with our own hands - red and white, in equal proportions.

The video below shows a master class on creating roses from satin ribbons with your own hands, perhaps this method will seem simpler to you.

Decorating the crown and trunk for topiary

Now the most enjoyable stage of the master class is decorating the crown of the topiary. To begin with, we make holes on the surface of the base ball, then insert roses into these holes, but do not forget to lubricate their bases small amount glue.

We leave small gaps between the roses. Thus, we cover the entire surface of the base, alternating the arrangement of colors in color.

We make a hole in the base for the crown, drip a little glue and insert a twig into it, which you can easily find while walking in the park. But for work, you first need to thoroughly dry this twig, and then paint it. In this master class, the topirium trunk is a golden twig.

Making green leaves with your own hands

The next step in the master class is to create green leaves with our own hands, which we will place around the roses. To do this, cut out circles from wide satin ribbons of various green shades.

Fold the circle four times, and melt the edge over a candle flame or with a lighter. Press the edges together until the satin is warm enough.

As a result, such leaves come out.

We glue the edge of the sheet.

We glue the leaves between the roses on the empty spaces to fill the entire base with them.

Assembling the product and decorating the pot

Decorate pots for topiary with your own hands. To do this, take a floral mesh to match the overall composition and wrap a pot in it. Glue a red bow on top. In this way appearance the pot has completely changed.

Now you need to prepare a gypsum solution, for this we dilute the powder with water and bring it to the state of thick sour cream. Then we immerse the topiary in this mixture and fix it in an upright position until the alabaster is completely dry.

We mask the surface of the “soil” in the pot with scraps obtained from the remnants of the green ribbons.

As a result, we have got a delicate and solemn topiary made of satin ribbons, which will undoubtedly ennoble the atmosphere in your home or will be a magnificent and unique present for any occasion. Continue to create beautiful things with your own hands and have real pleasure from it! Good luck with your creativity!

At the end of the article, as always, I want to introduce you to step by step master class dedicated to how to make a topiary from satin ribbons with your own hands or just a ball, as an independent decoration for the interior.

Ribbon topiary is one of the most popular hand-made gifts. Not a din of a master class is devoted to how to create a beautiful tree with such an elegant, cute crown with your own hands. Flowers are usually made from ribbons, more often roses, which become the main detail of topiary.

In order for the crown to be a scattering of delicate roses, you need to make at least ten such flowers.

Making roses from ribbons step by step:

  • Take the tape so that the wrong side is facing you;
  • Begin to twist the left edge from left to right, getting a column;
  • Twist virtually to the end, so that a small triangle with a side of 2 cm remains;
  • Now you need to twist the rose itself, hold the base of the flower with your left hand, and turn the ribbon away from you with your right hand, while bending it;
  • With your left hand, thumb and forefinger, hold the rose by the base, twist it counterclockwise, and with your right hand bend the upper edge of the ribbons away from you;
  • When the rosette is formed, bend the end of the tape, connect to the base;

In this case, the main thing is skill, the first couple of roses with your own hands may not be obtained immediately, and then the work will resemble a conveyor belt.

DIY topiary from ribbons: flowers, master class number 2

You can also make flowers with petals outward, like chamomile. If you are making topiary from ribbons for some joyful event, maybe for the birthday of a child or teenage girl, this master class will be just right.

Step by step instructions:

  • Take satin ribbons of different colors, you can even have a pattern;
  • Cut the tape into equal lengths;
  • From two circles of felt, you can make the base of the flower;
  • Bend one piece of tape in half, and push the two open ends into the middle between the felt circles;
  • Do this with each petal, and you can fix it in the felt core using a thermal gun or simply stitch it;
  • The petals can be multi-colored or monochromatic, it all depends on what kind of topiary you want to get in the end.

An alternative MK will show you how else you can make flowers for topiary.

Such a flower can become a bright highlight in your topiary, other elements can be made simpler.

Topiary from ribbons: how to make a sunflower

This MK also involves many variations. Most often it is a combination of materials such as ribbons and coffee beans. This DIY option is probably the most popular.

It is not so difficult to make it. You will need a yellow satin ribbon that is wide enough. From it you must cut at least 20 identical petals. To prevent the fabric from crumbling, it will have to be melted over the flame, but only together with the fasteners.

The fact is that you are not just carving out oval petals, everything is a little trickier.

To make a sunflower petal, you need:

  • Take a segment 15 cm long, bend it in half;
  • Bend so that when the ends are connected, a loop is obtained;
  • When reflowing, the ends will not only not crumble, they will also be fastened together.

You make the core with your own hands from coffee beans. You can glue them on some solid base like the same felt or ordinary cardboard.

Topiary from ribbons: master class from start to finish

So, it's time to use the flower blanks, and finally, make this souvenir flowering tree.

Having collected all the materials together, you can start by making the base for the crown. Let's say you decide not to make this base ball with your own hands, but to use a foam blank. Great, save time. But if such a blank was not found, take the most ordinary newspapers, threads and glue. Make a lump of newspaper, weight it with glue, wrap it with threads until it looks like a ball. The base is ready!

  • The newspaper ball needs to be painted to match the color of your roses, daisies, etc.;
  • In one of the places of the ball, make a hole for the barrel;
  • You can insert the barrel into the ball immediately, fix the branch or stick with hot glue;
  • Hold the barrel in the ball for a while, do not let go until it “grabs” well;
  • Now this whole structure can be decorated - wrap the trunk with a satin ribbon or decorative braid, without getting out of the general color scheme;
  • Fix the ends of the tape or tape with glue;
  • It's time to attach the flowers, hot glue and a thermal gun will help you do this carefully, attach so that the gaps are not visible as much as possible;
  • It turned out a trunk with a crown, which needs to be planted somewhere;
  • You can buy a beautiful flowerpot at a flower shop, and you don't have to do anything yourself;
  • You can decorate any container - wrap a cup or glass with lace ribbons or crepe paper, paint it acrylic paints, wrap with knitting threads to match the crown, etc.;
  • Now pour the plaster solution into the pot and lower the tree there, hold it until it stands firmly and evenly in the plaster;
  • Only the finishing decor remains - decorate the top layer of plaster with transparent artificial stones, which shimmer so beautifully in the sun.

You can plant a figurine on one of the flowers ladybug or a butterfly. Everything is ready, you made a delicate topiary of satin ribbons with your own hands, worthy of a gift and best decor girl's room.

Topiary from ribbons: we do it step by step (video)

Remember that topiary is considered a tree of happiness, which means that by growing a tree in this way, you create. And any creative work is associated with thoughts, desires, mental strength. Make a wish, and your tree may help to materialize it.

Topiary from ribbons (photo)

Usually satin ribbons alone are not enough; the tree is decorated with beads, buttons, beads and other decorative elements. Many trees are decorated with organza and tulle. Each master class paints its own version of the decor, but you can make your own design by adding your own flavor to such a ribbon topiary.

You can start with MK, which is not the most difficult to perform. To make such an elegant tree with your own hands, you need to prepare all the necessary materials.

Materials and tools:

  • Satin ribbons. Usually ribbons of three colors are taken. But you can also do multicolor if you want a variegated tree. But if, for example, you make wedding trees, then you do not need to take more than three flowers.
  • Decorative pot... Again, the purpose of the souvenir is important. Wedding topiary can be placed in pots with wedding symbols. For decoration, it is more convenient to take plastic pots.
  • Stick, rod- anything for the trunk of a tree. These can be sushi sticks, wire, paper towel sticks, etc. Another master class advises taking drum sticks, while another insists only on a wire that can be bent as needed.
  • Newspaper, thread, scissors, needles, glue.
  • Pot decor(textiles, crumpled paper, beads, ribbons, sequins - everything that is available and what your imagination is enough for).
  • Spray can with gold or silver paint(depends on the color of the ribbons and the decor of the pot).

All of the listed materials are variable. If you do not want to make the base for the crown with your own hands, you can take a foam blank. It can be either a ball or a heart. Wedding favors and a heart are more compatible things. But making the same heart with your own hands is more difficult.

You need to make a souvenir tree in a few steps:

  • The first thing you have to do with your own hands is the base for the crown. Take a newspaper and crumple it into a neat ball. On all sides, the ball must be wrapped with threads so that it is dense enough. Be sure to grease the base well with glue and put it aside, let it dry.
  • Now you need to make the roses themselves from ribbons. It's good if you have ready-made ones, but most often you have to make roses with your own hands. Take a pink ribbon 35cm long. Make a fold, twist the tape into a small flagellum. Be sure to secure the flagellum with small stitches. Then another fold, which is again fixed at the base. And then on the same principle, and how many such bends - you decide for yourself, depending on what splendor you need.
  • To fix the flowers, you need to make a hole with an awl for each rose. When fixing, remember that the flowers must alternate correctly. For example, pink, white, pistachio.
  • Now you can make leaves. Each master class offers its own version of making leaves. This step-by-step MK chose the following method: cut out circles from a green atlas, fold them in half, fasten with threads. In order for the leaf circles to retain their shape, they need to be ironed. After that, the edges of the fabric are melted over the candle, smeared with a small amount of glue.
  • The trunk of the future tree can be wrapped with twine or decorative braid.
  • After the leaves are ready, they need to be installed in the crown between the flowers. You will get a lush ball filled with flowers and leaves, fixed with glue.
  • In a prepared pot you need to pour gypsum into which to insert the tree trunk with the crown.

After the structure has frozen, either artificial grass or pieces of the same atlas are placed on top of the plaster.

Topiary from satin ribbons and organza: manufacturing methods

A beautiful topiary can be made from flowers not only from satin ribbons, but also from organza. If everything is clear with ribbons, then how are organza roses made?

Decorative "tree of happiness" from satin ribbons and organza can be made in an unconventional form

This master class is simple:

  • Method one. A long organza ribbon can be burned on a candle and rolled up to form a flower shape. The lower tip is fixed with a needle and thread. You will get beautiful simple buds.
  • Method two... First, cut out the templates, organza blanks are already being made from them. The edges are also melted over the candle so that they do not crumble, and the petals become convex.
  • Method three... From organza, you need to build squares that fold diagonally, fold up like an accordion or fan. They can be connected with a stapler, resulting in lush flower from organza.

Flowers from satin ribbons for topiary: sunflowers

You can also make beautiful sunflowers from ribbons for a souvenir tree. You will need about 16 pieces of yellow tape, each 9 cm long. You bend the segment in the center at an angle, and bend the lower end to the upper so that the ends of the two ends meet.

Then the corners of the aligned ends are bent to the center and fused over the candle. And so - all 16 segments to get beautiful sunflowers.

Felt brown circle - the middle of the flower. Petals are glued to it. You can lay out two rows of 8 pieces each. To decorate sunflowers with your own hands, you can plant a small ladybug on the flowers.

Sunflowers from satin ribbons (video master class)

You can create a topiary of almost any complexity with your own hands. Whether delicate roses, or bright sunflowers, the blank is decorated with satin ribbons, and the result is a beautiful crown. Well, choose the place for such a souvenir yourself, and if you want to give it, the hero of the occasion will definitely be delighted with such a present.
