Mk for weaving a starfish. Star, fish and crayfish from beads: diagrams and description. A simple version of a beaded star

Diseases

Dear needlewomen and needlewomen! I want to bring to your attention a master class on making a brooch-pendant " Starfish» from pearls and beads.

This jewelry is remarkable for its versatility - it can be worn both as a pendant and as a brooch thanks to the clever 2 in 1 clasp.

Our product is made in the technique of bead embroidery with weaving elements. My master class is designed for people who have at least some experience in handling beads, but there is nothing supernaturally complicated in it.

For work we need:

  • pearl beads 6 mm - 1 pc.;
  • pearl beads 4 mm - 5 pcs.;
  • beads gold pearls mm - 5 pcs.;
  • pearl beads rose gold 4 mm - 5 pcs.;
  • white pearl beads 4 mm - 5 pcs.;
  • pink pearl beads 3 mm - 5 pcs.;
  • white pearl beads 3 mm - 5 pcs.;
  • pink bicone beads 3 mm - 6 pcs.;
  • beads 15/0 (gold);
  • beads 11/0 (pink);
  • beads 11/0 (gold);
  • basis for a brooch-pendant;
  • as well as cardboard, embroidery base, golden leather, monofilament, beading needles, scissors, glue, carbon paper and pencil.

In my version, Swarovski pearls were used, but they can be easily replaced with matching pearls from another manufacturer or even natural round ones.

The idea to put the beads rolling on the table into a square was born spontaneously, but it seemed to me practical. Now I know why an adult needs a square with holes)).
Let's get to work. I printed out an asterisk of a suitable size on a printer, because. This is a guarantee of obtaining an even figure. And slightly corrected with a pencil to the desired shape. I immediately drew all the axes, we will need them, we will sew beads along them.

With the help of a carbon paper and a pencil, we transfer the pattern and axes to the base for embroidery, mark the center. As a basis for embroidery, I used glued non-woven fabric folded 3-4 times and ironed, painted gold with acrylic paint.

In the center we sew a large pink pearl.

We braid the pearl according to the cabochon principle. First, sew a row of 15/0 gold beads around the pearl. Important: there must be an even number of them so that the braid of the bead looks even and neat. We sew on two beads with the first stitch, with the second we bring out the needle between the just sewn beads and stretch the thread into the second of them, tighten it. Next, we type the next two, and so on.

As a result, we get vicious circle around the bead. We bring out the thread, passing through the first of the typed beads.

Now we start the weaving element, add the second row of beads to the future braid. To do this, we collect a bead and insert the needle into the third bead of the first row (we left the first, i.e. through one bead).

In the same way, we collect another one, draw the thread through the 5th bead, and so on.

After finishing the second row, bring the needle into the first bead of this row. From it we begin to weave the third row, as well as the fourth and fifth. They are performed in a similar way, here it is even more obvious, the thread passes through adjacent, protruding beads.

We close each row by passing the needle through its first bead. The fifth row we pass the thread twice, tightening the braid.

Having finished braiding the bead, we pass the needle through the beads of the braid down to the base, pierce the base, on the wrong side we fasten the thread with a knot or a couple of stitches to secure the screed. We do not cut the thread. In the diagram below, I depicted this all a little more clearly.

I marked the beads of the first row in blue, the second row in red, the third row in green, to which everything is already becoming clear.
Similarly, we will braid all the beads, only for them, because. they are smaller, 4 mm, we will make three rows, only two will be sewn to the sewn, the last one will also be pulled together and fixed on the wrong side.
Around the newly braided bead we sew a row of larger beads, 11/0, it is close in size to the Czech 10-ke, or to the size 12 Rainbow beads.

We begin to make the rays of our star. We sew the first pink pearl at some distance from the center, so that the first, sewn row of the braid fits.

We braid this bead in the way described just above. In a similar way, we sew and braid the remaining 4 pink beads, outlining the rays of the star.

We continue the rays, sew and braid gold pearl beads behind pink ones. And behind them cream 4 mm. We braid them too.

At the end of each beam, we will have small cream beads 3 mm, we will not braid them, just weave them in a circle.

The beam is ready. We embroider the remaining four in the same way.

Now we embroider the outline of the star with small gold beads. In the corners of the rays we sew large gold beads, filling the voids.

In between the rays we sew on several large gold beads.

Next, along the lines between the rays, we sew matte pearls, 4 mm closer to the center, 3 mm behind them. We will not braid them either, we will trim them with pink beads.

Behind the pink we embroider a gold row around these pearls.

We begin to fill in the gaps with pink beads. First, we lay a row along the contour of the resulting area.

We sew a pink bicone into the gap in the center that is not filled with beads. It does not catch the eye much, but we create an additional shine.

We fill the remaining spaces between the rays of the star according to the same principle. At the output, we should get something like this.

The hardest part of the job is over! You can relax a bit and start assembling the jewelry.
Cut out our star with small sharp scissors (I still use nail scissors) close to the embroidery. But be extremely careful not to accidentally cut the thread.

We cut out a piece of cardboard, similar in shape to our star. I just trace the embroidery, and then I cut 3-5 mm along the edges of the cardboard blank. This detail is needed to stiffen our decoration. Glue the cardboard part to the wrong side of the embroidery.

Now cut out the underside of the leather.

On it we mark the holes for the fastener, cut through and insert the fastener into them.

It's okay, then we will remove the protruding pieces of the wrong side of the skin with a needle or a toothpick inside, we will cut off completely superfluous. Just a couple of drops of second glue glue the base of the brooch to the skin.

Now the clasp is securely fastened and you can glue the skin to the embroidery. To do this, I use ordinary glue for a moment, if it suddenly sticks unevenly, there is time to move or re-glue. The second does not give such an opportunity to maneuver, but it seizes tightly and immediately.

The last stage remains - processing the edge in the American way, laying the beads flat. We tie a knot on the monofilament. We stick the needle between the skin and the embroidery, we bring it out from the inside.

We stick the needle into the base from the front side, draw the needle into the loop formed and tighten.
Now we collect a bead Pink colour, stick the needle from the front side, output from the wrong side.

And we pass into this bead a second time from below, laying the bead flat. We tighten the thread.

In the same way, we sew the remaining beads, so that there are no gaps between them, tightly to each other. Side view.

Having finished sewing the edge, we fix the thread. I tie several knots (usually 3) on several beads, the monofilament is almost transparent, which makes the knots invisible. After that, the rest of the thread can be hidden in the embroidery, I pass it through some detail under the embroidery, inside and cut it off.
The whole Brooch-pendant is ready. You can admire and wear!

This article is dedicated to lovers of beaded crafts. Today we will learn how to make a starfish from beads using a master class and a weaving pattern.

The creation of this bright and unusual marine life is a creative and involving process. So get ready to create - it will be interesting!

Tools and materials Time: 1 hour Difficulty: 3/10

  • blue beads;
  • blue beads;
  • white beads;
  • fishing line for beads;
  • beading needle.

Weaving step by step instructions

Before you start creating a starfish from beads according to our master class with a weaving pattern, decide whether it will be a pendant, key chain or bauble for a mobile phone. It depends on what kind of mount or clasp you need.

In this tutorial, we used the materials shown in the photo below, but you can choose your own color scheme.

Step 1: form the ring

We start weaving with the element that is larger. We fix the bead on the fishing line, that is, we pass both tails of the fishing line through its center and tighten it, as with parallel weaving.

Then we string 4 more beads and close it all in a ring.

Now we make the second row of our asterisk. For this, we recall mosaic weaving. That is, we string a bead and send the fishing line to the nearest bead of the first row.

In the next row, there will already be two beads between the beads of the second row. We string them and pass them through the nearest bead of the second row.

Step 2: make rays

As a result, the blue beads will be the rays of the star, and the rest is filled with smaller beads. For row 4, the fishing line should come out of the first bead of the second row, that is, from the ray. The weaving technique is called "Ndebele".

We string 2 blue beads on the fishing line and send the tail of the fishing line to the second bead of the ray. Then we string a small blue bead on it and send it to the first bead of the next ray. Then the situation is repeated until we get the following result.

In the process of weaving blue beads, we always have two left, only the number of blue ones increases. That is, in the first such row there is only one blue bead, in the second there are already two. In general, each row is an addition by one bead.

We continue weaving until we have 6 pairs in our rays. Next, we add one bead to our ndeble rays to close the holes.

I suggest you do it yourself one of those with me keychains.

You will need beads two sizes (larger and smaller) and any two colors (of your choice):

1 row: fasten one a large bead (in this case, blue), put on 4 more blue and close all the beads in the ring:

2 row: continue to weave in a circle and weave one by one blue bead between all the beads of the previous row. Having strung the last bead of this row, we draw a needle in two beads.

3 row: weave in a circle, but now between the beads of the second row there will be 2 each blue beads.

4 row: blue beads form the rays of an asterisk, we will always wear there 2 each blue beads, and in the intervals between the rays, the number of blue beads will gradually increase, at first it will one

… Then two etc.

Weave until it works on each beam 6 pairs blue beads.

Weave the last row in the same way with the addition blue beads, but there will be only a blue bead one.

It turned out one half star, similarly weave the second half (without the last row!).

Each half can decorate, for example, with white beads, and it is desirable to weave a blue bead into the middle of the stars (to close the hole).

Now sew the halves, connecting them one by one and not forgetting to fill the asterisk a little to save volume (with pieces of cellophane, for example).

So it turned out star!

I have one to make starfish pendants takes about an hour.

Good luck with learning everyone!

You can make unusually beautiful stars from beads. Moreover, they can find practical application - use as a pendant or earrings, hang as a decoration on mobile phone Or make a keychain out of them.

If the beaded star is made larger, then it can be used to decorate, for example, a Christmas tree or a composition with a marine theme. In a word, such a star is multifunctional, and it is easy and simple to make it. Moreover, using the given simple and understandable descriptions.

A simple version of a beaded star

This is a very easy beaded star to make, which even a beginner needlewoman can weave. So, all you need is beads of the same color, a thin needle and fishing line.

  1. You should start work by stringing 10 beads on the fishing line, which you need to close in a ring. The easiest way to do this involves passing the needle in a circle several times to fix the base of the sprocket.

    Stringing beads on string

    We make a ring by twisting the ends of the fishing line

  2. Now you can start making rays. Making them is very simple: just string 5 beads on the needle, then pass the needle through the circle without passing through one bead. This is how the first ray is formed.

    We start weaving a ray

  3. Similarly, you need to make five more rays of the star. Those who wish to make a large star should make the base circle of the star large. Thus, it will be possible to make more rays.

    Similarly to the first, we make the rest of the rays of the star

  4. The star is ready. It is only important to make a strong knot and carefully hide the end of the fishing line. We remind you that it is impossible to cut the fishing line “at the root” - there is a big risk that the star will bloom. You need to leave longer tips that can be pulled through the nearest beads.
  5. If you weave several similar stars, then you can use them to make a bracelet or pendant.

    Several stars can be used to make a necklace or bracelet

How to make a starfish from beads

You can make a beautiful star, very reminiscent of starfish. Another advantage is that it takes very little time. So, the scheme given for a beaded star makes it easy to master such weaving.

A beaded star can be woven from any glass beads. The main thing is to pick up beads of two colors. You should also take one larger bead, the other smaller - this will allow you to achieve a beautiful relief.

Depending on the size of the beads, it is necessary to choose the thickness of the wire used.

  1. We start weaving by attaching one large bead, after which we string 4 more beads on the wire and close them in a ring.

    We start weaving a starfish

  2. Then we continue weaving in a circle, stringing and weaving the beads into the free space in the previous row. We complete the row by passing the needle back through two pieces of beads to secure the weave.

    Weave the first circle and fasten it

  3. We do the next row in the same way as the previous one. Unless we weave into the space between the beads of the previous row not one, but two beads each.

    Weave the second circle in the same way as the first, adding additional beads

  4. Now you need to make the rays of the star. To do this, you need to take a darker shade of beads or a color that contrasts with it. And, continuing to weave, you need to string two beads of the main color onto the fishing line, and in between string contrasting beads. And you should start with one bead, gradually increasing the number of beads.
  5. We continue the next row in the same way as the previous one. You only need to string two pieces of beads in a contrasting color.

    Weave the rays of a starfish from beads

  6. Similar weaving should be continued further until you get 6 pairs of beads in each beam.

    We continue weaving until we get 6 pairs of beads in each beam

  7. It is necessary to make another row, adding beads of a contrasting color. In this case, 1 bead should remain in the beam /
  8. One half of the star is ready. Now it is also necessary to weave the second half of the asterisk. The only difference is that the last row in the second half does not need to be done. If desired, the resulting halves of the star can be decorated with white beads, carefully stringing the glass beads all over the star. You should also weave beads into the center to close the hole in the middle.

    Making two identical stars

  9. It remains to connect the two halves. To do this, they can simply be carefully sewn by threading a needle through the side holes. It is important not to forget to pre-fill the star with cellophane or foam rubber in order to achieve volume.

    We sew 2 halves after stuffing the star with foam rubber

  10. It remains to attach the appropriate accessories, depending on how the star will be used - as a keychain or earrings, for example.

Stars can be used for earrings or keychain

By the way, a similar beaded star can be made from large beads or pearls. Then the star will turn out larger and it will be possible to put it, for example, on a shelf in the bathroom. Or use the product to create a thematic interior composition.

And if you want to weave a more complex craft from beads, try making a dragon from beads. Detailed description process you will find in our article.

With the help of this master class, even beginners will be able to make a beaded starfish pendant.

Pendant "Starfish" is quite simple in execution. For him you will need:

  • small beads (about 1.5-2 mm),
  • medium size beads (approximately 2.5-3.5 mm)
  • and, of course, a strong fishing line (thickness from 0.2 to 0.25 mm).

Operating procedure:

1. We make a ring of 5 beads. We string the components onto the fishing line and pass through the extreme both sides of the base.

You can add a bicone in the middle, as shown in the diagram.

2. We take one of the ends of the fishing line and pass it along the formed ring, adding one bead between the elements of the first row, as shown in the diagram. We have a very small star.

3. Between the protruding rays of the mini-star, add a pair of beads. You need to tighten them very carefully with minimal effort.

4. Now one of the edges of the fishing line protrudes between two large beads of the third row. We carry out the addition of two more large beads and one small one according to scheme No. 4.

We repeat the process until we reach the first element of the 4th row.

5. Add a pair of large beads and a pair of small ones for each ray according to scheme No. 5.

At this stage, the starfish will begin to curl. No big deal, it's meant to be. It will flatten out after filling.

6. The fishing line is again on one of the rays of the future starfish. We build two more large beads on top of the large components of the 5th row. We string 1 small bead on the led out forest and draw it through the small bead located on the right. We repeat the build-up of small elements (there are already 3 on this row) until we reach the starting point.

8. It is necessary to repeat the extension until there are 6 small beads in a row. One of the parts of the starfish will be ready.

You can start making the second part. The fishing line must be fixed on the side that will be inside.

9. In the manufacture of the second part, we repeat all steps from points 1 to 8. So we get two completely identical parts of the starfish.

10. We apply both parts to each other and see that their edge beads match perfectly. They need to be connected to each other. We pass in a zigzag from one half to the second.

11. When the last ray remains, you should fill the starfish so that it looks more natural, and not like a semi-flat shell. A simple cling film will be an excellent filler. It needs to be slowly filled in the shape of an asterisk, and insert a ribbon or lace, as shown in the photo (into the last ray).

Fasten the tip of the fishing line and tuck inward. Correct the asterisk in shape. At this stage, the beautiful summer pendant will be finished.
