Survey

If you want to learn how to crochet, start by doing the simplest items. For example, you can try to knit a beautiful autumn-spring men's hat. This stylish and beautiful accessory will surely please your man.

Its implementation only at first glance seems time-consuming and complicated. In fact, men's knits simply and quickly. You just need to set aside a little time for work and prepare everything necessary materials and tools. In this article, we will share with you two simple master classes for making beautiful crochet men's hats. We hope our tips are helpful.

The easiest way to make a men's hat

If you are just starting to learn how to crochet, take this simple and understandable master class into service, which tells you how to make a man's hat with ordinary double crochets. To make such a product is quite easy.
The manufacture of any product begins with the selection of consumables and tools. Of course, to make a beautiful and comfortable men's hat, you need to choose good, high-quality yarn. In this case, it is desirable to give preference to knitting threads of medium thickness. For example, in our work we used knitting threads consisting of acrylic and wool, with a density of 50 g / 150 m. The color of the yarn can be any, but, of course, you need to know the preferences of the future owner of the item. As a rule, men's hats are made of dark, muted shades. You can buy threads of gray, dark green, blue, purple and black. It is important to remember that the color of the headdress should be in harmony with other details of the wardrobe. To make a men's hat, you will need three skeins of yarn weighing 50 g each. In addition, you need to pick up the "working tool" of the right size for the job. We used hook number 4.

Men's carry a beautiful accessory

The second step in our work will be taking measurements - the girth of the head. In our case, it is 56 cm. Next, we make a calculation: we divide the resulting value by 3.14. We get the figure (17.8 cm), which we need in the manufacture of the bottom. We will create a product using the most common double crochets. At the same time, we will begin each row of the cap with three air loops, and finish with a connecting half-column, knitting it into the upper lifting loop. We will focus on the presented scheme. So, we start by completing and closing a chain of five VPs in our crochet ring. The men's hat is further designed as follows: we perform 10 CH. In the second row, in each loop we perform 2 columns with a crochet. Next, we work according to the scheme: 1 CH and in the next loop of the base 2 CH. As a result, in the third row you should get 30 columns with one crochet. Next, we knit 2 CHs in every second loop and complete the fourth row with a connecting loop.

We continue to carry out stylish men's accessories

The fifth row is created as follows: in every fourth loop we make 2 CHs. As a result, the number of columns increases to 50. We make the sixth row by analogy with the previous one, only we make increases on every fifth loop of the base. Thus, we get a circle - the bottom of the cap of the diameter we need (17.8 cm). therefore, the next 9 rows will be knitted without increments. The sixteenth and seventeenth rows will be performed with single crochets. That's all, our men's crochet hat is almost ready. It remains only to make a pompom with a diameter of 8 cm and sew it to the top of the product. If you wish, you can also make it in addition to this by doing it with single crochets.

Master class: a hat with a diamond pattern. Learning to crochet

To make a beautiful one, you need to pick up yarn and a hook. You will need a 150 g skein of yarn and hook number 5. We used green knitting threads (100% polyacrylic). This interesting diamond-shaped hat is made from such crochet elements as:

  • single crochet;
  • half-column with a crochet;
  • convex column.

If their knitting does not cause you any difficulties, you can start taking measurements. To crochet the "men's hat" product, we calculate the size of the bottom. We measure the circumference of the man's head and divide the resulting value by the number "Pi". Thus, we get the value that we will use in the manufacture of the bottom of the headdress. Correct calculation will protect you from annoying mistakes and make the product of the required size. How to crochet a men's hat - we will tell further.

Step-by-step description of the work process

First, we perform a "magic ring", which will avoid an ugly gap in the initial row.

Men's hat crochet: the scheme of work is as follows. We start the first row with 2 air loops. These loops replace the first column and are necessary for lifting. In the future, each row of our product will begin with two VPs. We advise you to insert the hook under the column of the previous row before knitting them, so as not to distort the pattern. After completing two VPs, we knit 7 double crochets (CH). Then we tighten the magic ring and finish knitting with a connecting loop. Second row: we perform two convex columns in each CH of the base. The third row, like the two previous ones, we start with 2 VP lifts. Next, we knit as follows to the end of the row: in the first loop 2 convex, and in the second - 1 convex column.

We continue crocheting. DIY men's hat

We knit the fourth row of the product like this. In the first loop of the base we make two convex, and in the second we knit one convex column. And then we make one half-column with a crochet. We carry out the series to the end, alternating these elements. Next, we use the following scheme: 2 convex columns - 1 convex column - 1 half-column with a crochet - 1 half-column with a crochet. We repeat the element to the end of the fifth row. By analogy, we perform the following rows, making the necessary increases until the bottom of the product is the desired diameter (17.8 cm). And then we continue to work without increments. After increasing the number of half-columns with a crochet to 7, we begin a gradual decrease in the following rows. At the same time, we simultaneously increase the number of convex columns from 3 to 6. When their number is brought to 6, in the next row we begin to knit one half-column between them (that is, we work according to the scheme: 3 convex columns - 1 half-column with a crochet - 3 convex columns) . We start expanding again, knitting half-columns with a crochet between lush columns. As a result, we get a pattern of rhombuses. We advise you to tie the last rows of the product with an elastic band, a crustacean step or single crochets. Now you know men's crochet. We hope you take our advice to heart!

I propose to tie ours such a wonderful hat-cap

1 row- 12 SSN
2 row- 24 CCHs (i.e. we knit 2 from each CCH of the first row, there is a little trick - we knit the 1st CCH of the 2nd row with relief; the 2nd column is simple and embossed from it; we knit it from the 3rd column of the previous row a simple column and a embossed one from it, and so on in a circle. We end with a simple column at the base of that very 1st embossed CCH - we do this in each row, then the seam disappears altogether)
3 row- 36 CCHs (we make an increase in every 3rd column - that is, we knit the 1st and 2nd CCHs of the 3rd row with embossed ones; from the 3rd CCHs of the previous row we knit a simple column and from it a embossed one and so on circle We finish with a simple column at the base of the 1st relief CCH)

Optionally, but for a better edging, the last row of the hat is knitted with SBN !!!

STARTING KNITTING

Most men wear a hat to protect them from the cold and wind. For some, this is an integral part of the image. There are representatives of the stronger sex who hate hats or believe that they do not suit them. No matter how a man treats this accessory, taking care of his health should come first. Therefore, a crochet knitted men's hat will always be in demand.

Hats, caps and berets

Due to the enduring popularity of men's hats, fashion designers every year they offer new versions of this accessory in their collections. And skilled knitters, inspired interesting ideas, undertake to make a description and link the models they like.

The most popular can be considered neutral classical. She will look good and winter jacket, and with sportswear, and even with business suit. The headdress with a lapel is also very common. If it is bright, it will be well compatible with a sports winter jacket. And gray, black or brown can easily be combined with a strict business style.

Men's voluminous berets knitted with a large knit of yarn different colors, bring some ease into appearance. Putting such a beret on his head, a man acquires a casually stylish image, corresponding to a resident of a modern big city.

Another interesting option resembles a cap with a clearly defined visor. Such custom shape many men like it, therefore it is quite acceptable even for adherents of strict views in clothing. But best of all, this hybrid, made in large knit, will complement the wardrobe in a semi-formal style. It will suit cropped coats and long colored scarves or turtleneck sweaters. However, it is not advised to wear it with a sports winter jacket.

Let's start knitting

Do you want to please your beloved man? Tie him a hat My man, after such a gift, now wears only hand-knitted hats.

The MK presents a demi-season hat. But you can insulate such a hat, for example with fleece, or knit a double one. So feel free to experiment!

As experience has shown, such a men's hat can be both women's and children's, and with strings, and with ears.

So let's get started...

Yarn - PEHORKA Brazilian crossbrand; 100gr - 500m; 50% merino wool, 50% acrylic

Hook - №2

Size (OD)- 58cm

I decided to knit a hat with a uniform elastic band (2 embossed dc, 1 simple dc). My sample:

4.

STEP 2 - loop calculation
We take measurements of our linked sample to determine the number of CCHs in a circular row for required size OG and how many rows we need to knit for the desired depth of the cap:

5.

6.

The girth of my future product is 56cm, depth is 20cm. According to my calculations, it turned out on average 1cm - 3.4 CCH, 1cm - 1.9 rows.

For a more correct fit on the head, the hat should stretch slightly, so 56 * 3,2 \u003d 180 CCH. I want to get a pattern, as in the sample I linked: (2 CCH embossed, 1 CCH simple). For this, an increase of up to 180 CCH in a circular row is just enough - 180/3 = 60 reports (2 CCH embossed, 1 CCH simple).

STEP 3 - knitting the bottom

We start knitting with a "magic ring", which allows you to tighten the hole at the top of the bottom.

7.

8.

1 row- We knit 12 CCHs into the ring, excluding lifting ch. And tighten the thread so that there is no hole:

9.

10.

2 row

From each CCH of the first row we knit 2 CCH - we knit the 1st CCH of the 2nd row with relief; the 2nd column is simple and embossed from it; from the 3rd column of the previous row we knit a simple column and from it a relief one and so on in a circle. We end with a simple column in base of the same 1st relief CCH - repeat in each row, then the transition from row to row is hidden. - 24 pcs.

11.

12.

3 row- We start the row with 1 or 2 air loops.

We make an increase in every 3rd column - i.e. We knit the 1st and 2nd CCH of the 3rd row with relief; from the 3rd CCH of the previous row we knit a simple column ( our increase) and from it is embossed and so on in a circle. We finish with a simple column at the base of the 1st relief CCH. The total number of CCHs in the circular row - 36 pcs.

13.

14.

4th row- We start the row with 1 or 2 air loops.

We make an increase in every 4th column - i.e. We knit the 1st and 2nd CCH of the 4th row with relief; from the 3rd CCH of the previous row we knit a simple column; We knit the 4th CCH with a simple one ( our increase) and from it a relief ( this bar is the 1st bar in the next wedge) and so on. We finish with a simple column at the base of the 1st relief CCH. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 48 pcs.

5th row- An increase is made in every 5th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 60 pcs.

6th row- An increase is made in every 6th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 72 pcs.

7th row- An increase is made in every 7th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 84 pcs.

8th row- An increase is made in every 8th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 96 pcs.

9th row- An increase is made in every 9th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 108 sh
15.

10th row- we knit 108 CCHs without increments, alternating 2 embossed CCHs and 1 simple CCH.

11 row- An increase in every 10th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 120pcs.

12 row- An increase in every 11th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 132pcs.

13 row- An increase in every 12th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 144pcs.

14 row- An increase in every 13th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 156pcs.

15 row- An increase in every 14th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 168pcs.

16 row- An increase in every 15th column. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 180pcs.

16.

17 - 35 rows- no extras. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 180pcs.

36 row- subtract 2 CCHs in each wedge, for a better fit of the cap to the head. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 156pcs.

37 - 39 rows- no extras. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 156pcs.

40 row- we knit sbn. The total number of CCHs in the circular row- 156pcs.

Note: You can skip the decrease in the 36th row by replacing the hook with a thinner one. BUT! The last row of sbn is mandatory, it is like a bartack from arching for embossed columns.

from comments:

(hats are not for everyone)

Olesya, I wrote to you, you did not answer.

Third row - "increase on each third column" will be 32, not 36. this is just " simple math". To get 36 out of 24 columns, you need to add every second (24 + 24 / 2 = 36), and not every third (24 + 24 / 3 = 32 !!).

For example, I have a description in a book, the description is this: the first circle - 2 sts on 9 columns of the previous row - will be 18, right. The second round - 1st, 2st, repeat to the end, total 27 (every second is added = 18 + 9 = 27, right), the third row - stn, stn, 2str, repeat to the end of the row, it turns out, every third column is added, 27 +27/3=36, 36 and it's written in the description. 24, if you add "every third" it will be 32. Further, in my book, the number of columns in circles is 4th - 45, 5th - 54. You get 48 out of 36 if you add "every 4th", and in the book it's the same - 36 is 45.

In the fourth row, to get 48, you need to add from 36 not “every fourth”, but every third, 48 = 36 + 36/3 I hope you understand why, following the description, we get 32 circles and further inconsistencies. It's just not clear why you ignore these comments, you almost immediately wrote in the reviews that 24 + 24 / 3 = 32. The hat turns out great, you can just fix the description!

I knitted a hat according to the scheme, I wrote to you separately about the scheme, I found it on the Internet, but since you do not publish it here, it makes no sense to describe it, however, the description of microns does not correspond to the scheme, alas, not only in terms of the number of columns in each row. Why - I wrote to you in a personal message, what happens if you just knit according to the description, without looking at the diagram and photo (which for experienced ones also = diagram).

LIFTING V.P. are not included in the total number of SSN circular rows.

I do ONE VP in each row. and I don’t count it .. You can make 2 lifting v.p.

In the pattern of this hat, such a technique hides the seam absolutely!

Perhaps this introduces confusion in the counting of columns.

The scheme and description of knitting a hat for a man will be presented in this article. It should be warm, comfortable, and can be decorated with an original pattern, such as a three-dimensional diamond pattern, which gives the model an austerity.

How to crochet men's hats

There are several models of men's hats, so needlewomen have the opportunity to choose the model they like and the appropriate scheme for work. In order to understand all the principles of work, you should familiarize yourself with the video.

Crochet men's hat: step by step instructions

In order to knit a model of a men's hat with a three-dimensional pattern, you will need about 150 grams of yarn of the same color and hook number four. The knitting principle gives volume to the pattern, namely the arrangement of convex and concave columns. How to crochet a men's hat is shown in the diagram below. The main thing is to remember that at the beginning of each row you need to dial two lifting air loops, and at the end of the row you need to make a connecting column, knitting it into the top of the first column of the same row.

For knitting male model hats with a three-dimensional diamond-shaped pattern, you will need about one hundred grams of yarn and hook number five. Such a model is knitted quite simply, first you need to tie the base, then knit all the rows with double crochets, in the last row it is desirable to make fewer columns and tie the edge of the cap with a “crustacean step”.

Crocheted men's hats with a diamond pattern can be presented in another version. In order to knit a model with such a pattern, you will need approximately one hundred grams of yarn of the same color and hook number four.

MK for knitting such a model includes several steps. First of all, it is necessary to tie the base of the cap, correctly calculating the number of loops that need to be added in each row. To do this is simple, you need to divide the number equal to the circumference of the head by 3, 14 and knit a circle of the desired diameter according to the diagram. All following rows should be knitted without adding. Each row must begin with two lifting air loops, the first row also consists of seven columns with a crochet. To get the second row, you need to knit two convex columns in each column. In the third row, it is necessary to alternate two convex columns and one convex column. In the fourth row, you need to alternate like this: two convex columns, one convex column and one half-column with a crochet. The fifth row is knitted in the same way, only one more half-column with a crochet is added. Add one half-column with a crochet until the moment when the circle becomes the desired diameter. It is important to consider that the convex columns must be knitted on top of each other so that the rhombuses have clear boundaries and are not shifted. The last rows are tied with single crochet columns. To make the edge of the cap embossed, it must be tied with a crustacean step, that is, the columns are knitted from left to right.
