We choose a children's railway according to the age of the child. Children's railway: models and reviews

Diseases

We are all a little children at heart)) As a child, I don’t even know what I would do for a large set of railways. And now you can completely buy inexpensive accessories for the Ikeevskaya cheap railway. Initially, my idea was to buy an inexpensive wooden toy from Ikea (Lillabu, railway set) and then add elements bought in Chinese shops: bridges, crossings, signs, traffic lights, little men and so on. I'm slowly doing this, posting reviews as I get them.

Accessories for a children's wooden railway, which I will talk about today:

  • mechanical crossroads
  • moving
  • Tunnel
  • Battery powered locomotives
  • house-station
So, we have the first one in turn: mechanical crossroads. I have already compared with sets from Brio, now a comparison (of a turntable wooden platform) from a Chinese store with an original one with a similar move (cost about 1500r). The main differences are more entrances, but the turning system is simpler. Brio turnable has a separate handle for turning, and in Chinese the design is very simple, everything is “handles”.

The purpose of this crossing is to bring several directions into one intersection, where you can mechanically choose the direction of movement. For a single locomotive, it is even possible to change direction on the fly. It is very convenient if this roundabout is located at the exit, for example, from a depot / garage. And after entering the colored circle, you can rotate to choose the direction of movement of the locomotive. Send him on a long journey)))

All add-ons come in a simple postal package. The crossroads-krutilka is packed very high quality.

The package is wrapped in a couple of layers of foam, plus a zip bag with lot sticker. I liked that the wooden colored insert (red) is separately packed in paper.

Everything looks to be of good quality. Connectors "mother" are machined in a wooden panel, and "father" are glued separately.

The photo clearly shows that there is no mechanization. There is no axis of rotation, no bearing, no mechanical drive. To rotate the turntable, you need to grab the ledge and turn it around the axis. True, a lot of effort is not required, and therefore without a bearing.

As you can see, there are no mechanisms inside, everything is quite trivial.

And here original accessory by Brio 33361

Brio 33361 has three directions versus four, but has a separate rotation control knob. Here's what the mechanism looks like.

So, let's put together a small road to evaluate the capabilities of this accessory.

Small Ikea / Brio locomotives (or equivalents) can be deployed directly on the device, they are just the right size to fit completely on the turntable. But if there is a hitch with other trailers, then only set the direction in advance. Rolled up - turned - drove.

True, the child quickly got used to it.

By the way, these twisted crossroads come in several colors: red, yellow, blue are available for order. Here is a comparison of red and blue. When ordering, indicate your wishes, otherwise they will send everything in a row. Naturally, they differ only in the color of the rotary insert, everything else is the same.

Dimensions: about 1 cm thick, that is, the thickness of a standard track, the twist is about 8 cm, the whole structure is about 15 cm. The color insert is about two thinner. But the gauges are standard - they coincide with Brio and Ikea.

With the move-krutilkoy until all. And while the child is playing, I will tell you about other additions that were purchased to bring the upgrade of the play set, for example, to the analogue of BRIO Wooden railway with a crossing 33208

or to BRIO Wooden Railway City Transport 33139.

the price of the issue of these original sets is about 5k rubles each.

Two were ordered moving across the railroad tracks. Of course, the canvas is not iron, but wooden, but the toy does not get worse from this))))

First - crossing with barrier in the form of a gentle exit from the canvas and two crossbars. There is an asphalt pavement marking.

The crossbars are fixed, but not much.
It would be nice to print on paper and laminate the roadbed of the same color as at the crossing (asphalt). Then there will be a real crossroads))))

Second - crossing with gate in the form of the same congress, but with four wings that rotate freely.

The gates rotate in all directions. You can "close" the road to vehicles at the crossing, or you can - a train. By the way, a motorized train quietly unfolds these gates along the way, this crossing is not an obstacle for it.

Next, a few words about simple tunnel, which was bought in another store to compare with another tunnel that I have.

made of MDF type material, painted, wooden roof with grooves for fixing the walls. The kit included a simple wooden piece-track, the quality, however, is worse than that of Ikea / Brio (solid-milled, without inserts). The tunnel is narrow: only small wooden Ikea engines and Brio type engines pass.

There were 4 self-tapping screws in the kit, and holes were drilled on the track (not very accurate)

Assembly process. You will need a Phillips screwdriver.
Attention, in the photo the truck is from the Ikea road, because I first wanted to screw the tunnel to it.

And here you can clearly see the "native" wooden track. The lock is milled, not glued.
By the way, the roof can be glued, or you can leave it removable.

We use it as a "dead end", that is, the beginning of the tracks, like a depot or a garage for a train.

Compare with a similar accessory: Brio tunnel 33735. The cost is about 1500 rubles. The tunnel is not very "fancy", but it costs almost 5 times more.

Next, the most interesting: locomotives
I bought several from the series Thomas Trackmaster A: It's green and black. All of them on 1xAA battery:
It looks like licensed copies. The quality is good, the faces too, the names of the characters (Henry, Tobby, etc.) correspond to the legend of Thomas and Friends.
Their main plus is the cost, almost 2 times cheaper than in toy stores. So, for example, for a motorized train Thomas Trekmaster offline they ask for 1000 .... 1300 rubles. A "Diesel" from China costs about $8.

Compare appearance with toys that are sold offline.
For example, Henry and James in retail packaging from toy stores.

And this is Tobii and Diesel

As you can see, there is no difference. So why pay more?
There is also a rocker switch on the roof, there are drive wheels and a rubber rim with a protector. The wheel diameter is slightly larger.

The second advantage over offline ones: Chinese steam engines normally pull uphill, and not only themselves, but also three or four wagons cheerfully drag up.

I draw your attention to the minor differences between Chinese locomotives:
First, there is no ledge on the bottom of the engine.

In the original Trackmaster, this ledge serves to hold the engine on some tracks (doubtful property). There, on the rails, there is a grip that rises and “catches” the engine by the lower ledge. But, at the same time, this ledge makes it difficult to overcome large climbs: bridges, arches. The steam locomotive will begin to slip. The Chinese do not have this, which is a clear advantage for a wooden road.

Secondly, only 1 AA battery is used (instead of 2xAAA in the original), which, in my opinion, is more convenient.

There is also, not from the Thomas series, but is a copy of Brio. It has a magnetic hitch, forward-backward speeds and light music.

I took the risk of taking it apart. Surprisingly, the train turned out to be more difficult than I thought. Several "compartments" inside: a separate board / switch, a separate battery compartment, a separate engine, and a completely closed gearbox. All under the screws.

Pay attention - there is a limit switch in front, on touch (light music is turned on, although it would be more logical to reverse).

The only pity is that there is only one in the assortment, there would be different colors and forms, I would buy more, it is narrower and goes into a new tunnel.

A wooden train was also purchased at a ridiculous cost, similar to the wooden ones from the Lillabu series, but again “under Thomas” (not motorized, very simple).
A wooden train and to it (a trailer with coal). The issue price is 90 ... 100 rubles.

Follow the links to large lots where you can choose inexpensive wooden locomotives and wagons from the Thomas series (without batteries, the simplest ones) with a magnetic coupling. The quality is average, a little simpler than Ikea, but I liked it.
The most important thing is the alignment of the magnetic couplings. The rest of this train is not so important.

Well, in the end I will say about the interesting one.

Easier nowhere. There are no functions, just for road conditions. Inside there is a slot for AA batteries (2 pcs), but without contacts, as well as a small socket for a sound emitter (speaker). There is also a hole for a switch.
I already mentioned this house in the comments to, and there are also on.
They go as signs, trees, and so on - to furnish the play area. For "craftsmen" - it can be useful to hide some electronics inside, for example, to imitate the sounds of a railway station, or install it next to the arrow and transport rails (as an option - a traffic light is nearby and switch colors).

In conclusion, I will say a few words about the compatibility with Lillabu of such add-ons ...
Almost all the wooden additions presented in the review contain locks a la Brio, that is, a “dad” in the form of a round spike glued into a section of the road.

On some accessories, you can even notice traces of glue. If you choose duplicates for Brio, then the connectors will be similar - "dad" in the form of a ball. These connectors have slightly different sizes from Ikea. "Dad" is a little longer, respectively, "mother" is deeper. Ideally, for Ikea, use adapter adapters, otherwise there will be small gaps.
That's about it.

Pay attention when buying solid-milled tracks. As a rule, the quality is low, both the material itself and the work.

In general, despite the fact that the quality is different everywhere, it turned out to be inexpensive and full of pants in joy))))

I bookmarked myself just such a small thing like.

A useful thing, considering how a child is now uncoupling trains from wagons.
There are various Y-splitters, ramps, dead ends, intersections, coasters, bridges and more. There are already all sorts of additions, I'll leave it for another review.

If you have any questions - ask in the comments)))
There is also a topic - you can print on a 3D printer all sorts of adapters and adapters, stands and more.

Thank you for your attention!

Plan your garden space appropriately. You will need to allocate sufficient space for laying paths, landscaping and additional elements such as buildings and bridges.

  • Try to choose a visually appealing location with easy access.
  • Raise if possible railway above ground level; so it will be easier to care for her and admire. Focus on a height that is comfortable for a small child.
  • Do not forget about the main purpose of the garden, consider possible consequences railroad devices. Also think about possible problems that domestic and wild animals can cause, and provide appropriate protective equipment.

Find helpers. Building a railway can be turned into an activity for the whole family, because this way things will go not only more fun, but also faster. Usually children are very fond of helping, but their interest largely depends on how good they are, so it's best to find something for everyone by age. If the neighbors also want to participate, then why not?

Create a plan and path layout. The project should take into account aesthetic preferences, available space and available budget. If you are going to make a railway in several stages, then consider this moment when drawing up a plan.

  • For starters, a simple round or oval scheme ways. So it will be easier for you to plant plants next to the canvas and install additional elements, if you wish, you can add a bridge or tunnel.
  • When planning a more complex structure, check the feasibility of the plan by first trying to assemble such a railway in a free place.
  • Always consider the size of the train, as it affects the size of the tracks, which in turn affects the entire design.
  • Calculate your budget. We immediately warn that the garden railway can cost a round sum, including the cost of preparing the garden plot (soil, supporting and lifting elements, gravel / pebbles, etc.), the cost of plants, the tracks themselves, trains and additional elements. The more complex the plan, the higher the cost, but you can save some money by looking for some parts on online auctions and similar places. With a phased construction of the road, you do not have to lay out the entire amount at once.

  • Purchase suitable tracks and wagons. Tracks and wagons must be suitable for outdoor use in all weather, so purchase or make fixtures that can withstand the weather. Among other things, you will need:

    • Buildings and structures
    • Natural objects that will be part of the garden railway
    • Tunnel
  • Start building the railroad. It may take from several days to weeks or even months to complete the work, depending on the amount of free time and the complexity of the project. A lot will also depend on weather conditions.

    • Prepare the site. Remove all debris and unnecessary plants from the site. Use a level to level the surface.
    • Gather materials. When using lifting and supporting elements, they are installed first.
    • Consider drainage and weed protection. You can put a special lining. Ensure proper drainage properties of the soil.
    • Follow the plan. Lay the tracks according to the plan. Use stainless nails and screws.
    • Place the materials that will cover the ground around the railroad and on the track (sand, gravel, etc.). Railroad ballast is made from several layers of sawdust, screenings or gravel, and then larger pebbles or crushed stone.
    • Level bulk materials.
    • To remove sand or soil from the tracks during the construction process, use a brush (both a pastry brush and a paint brush will do).
    • After the railway track and pavement, install buildings and structures.
  • Select trains. You have already chosen the appropriate train size for the track. Now is the time to choose the models you need!

    • A decision needs to be made about the type of train power supply: it will be a battery that is inserted directly into the train, or a transformer cabinet. When using electricity in the garden, follow all safety instructions and, if necessary, seek the help of an electrician.
    • Trains should have a timer so that they do not run constantly, continuously draining the battery.
  • Modeling is a very interesting activity.

Since childhood, I have always dreamed of making a mock-up of the railway, in reality, I only made a few spans of experimental tracks. Unfortunately, during my work, I encountered many problems and scarce details, in this article I want to discuss with you the most FAQ when creating a layout of the railway track and transport.

In the second issue of ModelMen magazine, I published an article and some photos from the website of an experienced modeller who builds models of railways and participates in exhibitions with his creations. Even looking at the photos of the layout, you can already determine the amount of work for yourself, make a list of tools and materials. I will not immediately give the entire list of what is necessary because it may not be complete, let's better analyze together what is made of what.

    Base

The layout of the railroad track must stand on something, so at the very beginning it is necessary to construct a base (table) for the layout. The base can be solid and collapsible. It is easier to make a solid base, but then you need to decide in advance on the room for the layout, it should be a spacious room in case of expansion.

For the base you will need legs; you can take them from old school desks or make them yourself. The whole structure can be easily made from plywood and wooden blocks. For fasteners you will need screws, metal corners. To make a collapsible layout, you will have to rack your brains over the base device and how to transport it.

    Tool

To work, you will need many different tools:

    Hammer
    - screwdrivers
    - nippers and pliers
    - chisels
    - files
    - spatulas
    - scissors
    - knives
    - brushes
    - soldering iron
    - and etc.

    railroad tracks

In order for the trains to move in the right direction, we need rails, they can be purchased ready-made in specialized shops for modellers. If you, like me, do not have such stores in your city, then you can buy them through online stores or go for them yourself. In extreme cases, the rails will have to do it yourself.

The easiest construction option is to use rails, they are glued or nailed to the base with small nails, the joints can be soldered and cleaned with a file.

If there are no ready-made rails, then you need to think about how to make them yourself, you can take the dimensions of the rails that are sold in stores and make your own. For sleepers, you will need to cut a lot of thin bars, this can be done on a small machine. The rail itself must conduct current, so it is advisable to make it from a thick copper wire, which can be rolled on a manual machine to a rectangular section. You can attach the rail to the sleepers with a good glue or solder it to the nails driven into the sleepers, this can be done after 3-4 sleepers.

    electrical equipment

For the movement of the train, an electric current is required, unless of course you are making a steam locomotive. Factory and home-made power supplies are used as a power source (see diagrams, radio engineering), the output voltage should not be dangerous, they usually use power supplies up to 16 volts, for small models 6-9 volts are enough.

The train moves with the help of an electric motor, it can be taken from broken toys or purchased at a radio store. Electricity is supplied to the engine from two rails, voltage is removed from them using two or more counters or from the metal wheels of the train itself.

To distribute electricity along the layout (base), you will need copper wires and connectors.

In addition to the trains themselves, the layout may contain traffic lights, barriers, lights and other elements that need electricity. Before wiring, carefully consider every detail, after installation it will be too late to wire, you will have to change the layout.

    Landscape

An integral part of a good layout is the design of the landscape, this should be given special attention. For similarity with reality, you need to work hard on the imitation of hills, vegetation, buildings, men, vehicles, etc.

Many parts can be used in finished form, i.e. take toy cars, figures of people, also in children's stores you can buy figures of animals, trees ...

To imitate hills, mountains, etc., you will need plywood, building plaster, papier-mâché, fiberglass, acrylic paints and other finishing materials.

    Building

Models of buildings can also be purchased at toy stores or you can make them yourself from wood, cardboard, papier-mâché, plywood, etc.

Modelers often take real train stations as a model, photograph them and turn them into miniatures on the table.

On the site, I will periodically publish my developments and those sent by you, you are probably interested in information on how to make a train model, traffic lights, trees, bridges and other elements for the railway. I will also publish electrical diagrams, photographs and drawings of old and new trains.

Probably, this toy is one of the most common childhood dreams. Previously, it appeared on the shelves extremely rarely, while it cost a lot of money, and its quantity was so limited that not everyone got it. Now there is no such problem.

And, besides, you can pick up almost any option you like: from the minimum configuration to large sets with additional details. Therefore, modern toy railway- it is not just a toy for a child, but also a constructor for the whole family. The game with the railway will take your child's attention for a long time, and the possibility of upgrading will increase the length of the game for a long time, and will constantly attract the interest of children of different ages.

Children's railway for the little ones

The simplest railways, which are offered in a minimum configuration, are suitable for children younger age. But for older children, the options are more diverse, that is, it may include more elements, and a variety of figures may be included in the kit. You will see, even adults can get carried away with this fun game!

Both psychologists and educators agree that toys that reflect the essence of the surrounding life are useful for a three-year-old child, because it is at this age that the child develops a basic idea of environment, it self-identifies. And in the mind of the child there is a classification of everything visible and felt. At this time, it is very important role-playing games. It is they who help the child behave correctly in a given situation, help develop skills that will be useful to the baby in later life. will become very good choice for a gift, this toy will be one of baby's favorite for a very long time.

When you choose a railway for a child under four years old, it is best to choose more simple options, in a more colorful version. Buy models made from environmentally friendly materials.

For young children: IKEA, Brio, Thomas, Chuggintones, Lego duplo.

    Children's railway for older children

For older children, from five years old, you can purchase more complex models with objects such as trees, towers, water stations, etc. Such kits provide an opportunity to actively develop imagination. And some manufacturers even offer themed games, that is, you can separately assemble a training ground or a factory with railway tracks.

For school-age children, railroads that are replicas of the real ones are a good choice. In fact, these are real masterpieces. Such toys repeat every detail of the reproduced object.

It is also worth noting that at present the buyer has a choice, that is, you can give preference to a railway that is fully consistent with the modern one, but you can also choose a model that will be stylized as objects corresponding to the Wild West, for example, or Europe. And caring parents will be able to come up with a lot of exciting, instructive games for the child with her participation. Good luck choosing!

For older children: Arrow, Tomica, Lego city.

    Children's railway - photo

In their games, children often try on adult images - doctors, teachers, boys tend to mess around with mini-models of cars, planes, helicopters and, of course, trains. At the same time, the children's railway attracts not only children, but also adults - often dads are also not averse to playing with their son or even without him. Toy Railroad is an exciting game on which more than one generation has grown up, because it appeared back in the 30s of the 19th century. Today, the railway for kids seems to be experiencing its rebirth, becoming more and more popular, so it is not surprising that your child will once ask to buy a children's railway during the next visit to the toy store. It may not be possible to purchase it right away - but this is for the best, since there will be time to choose the right toy so that it fits the baby's age.

Today, manufacturers offer a lot of options. The railway for children is made from various materials, can be single or multi-level, have many additional accessories, with varying assembly complexity. But one thing is invariable: the railway is a toy that, in addition to entertaining, also performs a developing function.

    The railway for children develops:
    - perseverance
    - logical and spatial thinking;
    - coordination;
    - fine motor skills;
    - fantasy;
    - ability to concentrate;
    - creativity and ingenuity.

But everything is good on time, so we will consider not only the materials, but also what kind of children's game "Railway" should be bought for what age.

Materials from which the children's railway is made

    1. Wood, wooden railroad

And the locomotive, and the cars, and even the rails are made of wood, although it is called iron. Children's wooden railway includes a steam locomotive, consisting of one or two parts, rails and a small amount of accessories. Suitable for the little ones. The rails are assembled according to the thorn-groove principle, and the fastening of the elements in some models is carried out by means of magnetic contact. Wooden railway for children - comparatively simple toy, which the baby will very quickly learn to assemble on their own. Such success will increase the self-esteem of the child. The railway is a wooden toy, which is mainly characterized by a bright design. It's good if the train even looks like a living being - to have traced eyes and a smiling mouth. At the same time, a wooden railway for children may not even have rails - it will be enough for a child to move a small train in any direction he chooses. At this age, he is more attracted to the opportunity to move the train with his own hands. A railway from 2 years old may also not have radio control - it is more interesting for a kid to move the train on his own. You can buy a wooden railway both for a child under two years old and older. The main thing to remember is that less baby, the bigger the toy train should be, but the smaller the railroad track.

    2. Plastic, plastic rail

A universal option, suitable not only for the smallest, but also for the older ones, is a children's plastic railway. Here it is also important to adhere to the rule that the smaller the child, the larger the toy itself. The advantage of such a railway is its diversity - it can be large, with many details. At the same time, a child can even assemble a steam locomotive on their own. Docking of rails is reliable and does not require extra efforts. A plastic railroad for children allows you to show your imagination as much as possible and create a unique structure - if only there is enough space in the children's room. If the child is still small, you should not allow the presence of small parts, stepping on which he can get hurt.

    3. Metal, metal railroad

This option is for children ages 4 and up. The children's metal railway has many parts and is quite difficult to assemble. The number of functions is expanding, the number of details is increasing. Such a road is controlled not only by means of a radio signal, but also due to the presence of metal contacts on the rails themselves.

    Railway accessories

This toy is also good because it can be replenished with accessories. So, the rails for the children's railway allow you to increase the length of the track and the path of the train over time, which will undoubtedly make the game even more fun. You can also buy crossings, stations, bridges, new cars and much more. You can buy rails for a children's railway both in a regular children's store and pick them up in an online store.

In general, the railway equipment includes:

    • rails (straight and curved);
    • locomotive / locomotive;
    • wagons/wagon;
    • buildings and structures;
    • animals and humans.

For older children, you can buy a toy, which includes mountains and tunnels. It will be interesting for the child to watch how the train climbs the hill or goes through the tunnel.

    Options for children's railways

In addition to the material and the number of accessories, the children's toy railway can be:

    Single or multi-level

A single-level children's railway is a toy that has one or more circles placed in the same plane. A multi-level one can have two or three tiers, and the rails can be not only a figure eight, but also take other forms.

    Modern or retro style

A modern railway is suitable for both the smallest and older children, and retro should be bought if the kid is already familiar with the existing era to which the purchased train belongs, so that he does not have questions about why the purchased steam locomotive is so unlike modern locomotives.

    Electric or remote control

German toy electric railways are very popular - they are well-made and as safe as possible to use. Electric toy railways made in the USA or Japan are not inferior to them. Although the electric railway toy was invented in 1897 by the American company Carlisle & Finch, in mass production it appeared in the 20s of the last century, replacing the locomotives with clockwork. Then miniature electric motors and AC rectifiers made a real revolution. And today, despite the appearance of control panels, the electric railway for children continues to be popular.

Having appeared relatively recently, the toy railroad on the remote control continues to gain popularity. Such a model is sure to cause delight in the child and the desire to show off to friends. The decision to buy a children's railway with a remote control will not only give the baby joy, but also help to make family evenings richer, because adults will not mind playing such a toy, because radio-controlled children's toys are interesting for people of any age. Children's railroad with a remote control allows you to spend more time with your child and, while playing together, learn about his interests and experiences.

    Manufacturers of children's railways

Since this toy is experiencing a rebirth, and its popularity is growing every year, today there are many different manufacturers of toy railways. The highest quality are German children's railways. American and Japanese railroad-themed toys are also popular. In general, at least 10 countries are engaged in the production of these toys, including Russia.

Here is a brief overview of the most popular manufacturers.

The first Pequetren railway saw the world in 1982. With a focus on safety and functionality, the company offers a wide variety of accessories and rail options. Pequetren is a railway that can take you back to the times of the Wild West, to the beginning of the 20th century and to a more modern era.

    Lego Children's Railway (Denmark)

Lego constructors cover almost all areas of human activity, so it is not surprising that there is also a Lego: Railroad. It is divided into two types - City and Duplo.

"Lego: Duplo" is a railway that children from 2 years old can play. It has large rails with a simple and strong joint, a wide track. "Lego: Railroad" of the Duplo series for 2-5 years also provides the opportunity to simply roll the composition with your hand. Since this is a constructor, trains can be disassembled and assembled. In Lego Duplo sets, the railroad can also have a forklift, which is especially popular with the boys, because it allows you to load and unload the wagons. The building blocks are compatible with all other Lego Duplo bricks, which allows you to create additional buildings along the route of the train. Lego Duplo is a railway that can be bought for children from 2 to 6 years old.

For children over 6 years old, Lego City is suitable - a railway that is not compatible with Duplo. It has its own buildings and trains, as well as many small details, so it is not suitable for the smallest. You can, of course, be entrusted to play it from the age of 4, but the kid is unlikely to be able to connect the rails on his own. Lego City is a railway, the details of which can be combined with some analogue constructors. Its main advantage is that Lego is a railway on the control panel, while the train has as many as seven speeds, which will certainly please both children and adults playing with them.

For more than 30 years, the Vtech railway has been pleasing children from many countries. During this period, the company has taken a leading position in the production of educational toys for babies. Automated modern kits may have a remote control. Vtech Learning Railway – bright toy which the child will immediately like. It has many interesting details, including an LED display and a dial. Railway for children Vtech - has a lot of opportunities and in the form of a game will teach a child a lot important things. While playing it, the kid learns to distinguish between letters and numbers, colors, notes and geometric shapes, learns more about animals, learns to understand time. The Vtech railway, which can be bought both in regular and online stores, is made of materials that are absolutely safe for the life of a baby.

Produced by the Japanese company Takara TOMY based on the animated series of the same name, the Thomas and Friends Railway is suitable for children 3-4 years old. The Thomas railway repeats the plot of the cartoon, and all trains have the names and names of its heroes. The Thomas railway (starter and other sets) is made of high-quality plastic, and the trains are powered by electricity or you can roll them yourself, which is suitable for small children. Thomas the Tank Engine - toys from the category of the railway, which will certainly appeal to children who watched the cartoon about Thomas. The smoke emitted by the machine due to a safe chemical reaction will delight children. Of course, it is not easy to get parts for this toy, but if you decide to buy the Thomas railway on the Internet, then you can also replenish the already existing equipment with additional accessories.
    Buy Thomas and Friends railroad

Tomy is a manufacturer of railways for children of various ages, as well as accessories for them. So, "My First Tomy Railway" is suitable for children from 1.5 years old. All details are bright and colorful. It works on an induction motor, to start which it is enough to pull the train in the direction opposite to its movement and let it go.
