Cotton vest. Knitted children's pullover ''vest''

breast cancer

Hello! :) I'm in a hurry to show my new cotton vest. I didn’t eat, I didn’t drink - just to have time to tie it up and take a picture without fail in the port.

Here one could flaunt the now fashionable phrase "tied by Barbara Walker." But let's keep it simple - it's raglan from top to bottom.

The neckline is finished with a false quilting, the sleeves and hem are finished with aycord. The sleeves are ok, they don't roll up. With the bottom, not everything is so joyful, I’ll probably remake it into a hollow elastic band or a hem, there is a tendency to a little twisting. Although the people who saw it say that finally they would not pay attention, as if it were necessary. But we know how any little thing on the way to perfection can piss us off, right? :)

I love 3/4 sleeves, nothing can be done about it :)

With yarn in general comedy. I began to sort out the stocks, it turned out that there are 5 skeins of turquoise eco-cotton Schachenmayer Cotton Eco (130 m x 50 g), bought already in 2012. Well, why was it necessary to buy 5 skeins of thick cotton, what to make of them ?! On the top it is too thick yarn. I decided to buy and knit a pullover. But the yarn was discontinued, ahtung! I had to buy a hitherto unknown Bulgarian Performance cotton - Cotton Queen (125 m x 50 g). It took 4 turquoise skeins and 3.5 white.

My favorite book, as long as I can remember :) Mom, "Pharmacognosy" is called, about medicinal plants and with pictures. Benzene rings can be ignored :) Just about cotton ...

The little thing, of course, is simple in execution and unpretentious, but somehow I noticed that such things are better for me in circulation than heaped knitting delights. I don’t wear knitted clothes to work - it’s impossible, but for casual occasions such sweatshirts are just right.
