Another simple and beautiful scarf knitting is called "Night guest".Its essence lies in the alternation of English gum, garter stitch and transverse elastic... All fragments are knitted with different threads, that is, the English elastic band - in one color, the scarf - in another and the transverse elastic - in the third color. Such a scarf can be made wide, and then it is wrapped around the neck 2 times, but for beginners it is better to start with the simplest and not wide option:

As you can see, the scarf for beginners is knitted on circular 4-5 mm thick knitting needles. The yarn should be thick, then the scarf will look better. If you find it difficult to knit on circular knitting needles, knit on regular knitting needles, then simply sew with a thick needle. The scarf is a rectangle, even more square.

Knit a small 10/10 cm pattern and you will know how many stitches you need to make for your piece. For example, if sample 10/10 has 12 loops, then for a length of 60 cm we collect 72 loops.

Cast on 72 loops on circular knitting needles and knit with front loops, the next row with purl (since we are doing work on circular knitting needles). When the first row is ready, the work does not turn over, but is connected, and the second row is knitted further along the front side. The third row is knit, the 4th row is out, and so on. We knit a scarf with knitting needles, without stopping, to the desired height of the scarf. The height of our product for beginners will be 30-40 cm, no more. When working, you can estimate which height you like best.

Tied to the desired height, and closed the loops of the last row. This is how the same scarf looks like, only knitted not on circular, but on simple knitting needles, which is then sewn. How to knit such a scarf? Let's try to figure it out.

Here the scarf is longer than the previous one. Too large knitting, thick needles 8-9 mm, 200 gr. thick wool. We are typing on simple knitting needles about 40 loops and knit with the same garter stitch, that is, with only knit stitches, only we turn over the knitting after the end of each row. The last loop we knit the row with the wrong one - we turn it - we do not knit the first loop, but simply remove it on the working knitting needle and knit further. We close the last row and sew the side.

An openwork scarf with knitting needles from lilac yarn, knitted with braids, the diagram is attached. In our scheme, the rapport (repeating moment) that is highlighted is 17 loops. This rapport is repeated 3 times in knitting. Yarn consumption - 400-500 grams (70% wool + acrylic). Needles 4 mm thick.

For work you will need:

1. Yarn - 300 grams (50% wool, 50% acrylic).
2. Circular knitting needles 4 mm.
3. Markers or pins

Sample: 3 motifs, that is, 36 loops of the openwork pattern = 18 cm. 10 centimeters of the openwork pattern = 22 rows.

We collect 6 loops and knit with an openwork pattern according to the scheme. We knit 20 rows of the angle scheme (we get 62 loops). For the next 4 rows, knit in this way: pattern 1, 4 times just pattern, then pattern 2. We end up with 74 loops. We continue to add on each side (Scheme 1 and Scheme 2), repeating 12 loops of the central scheme as follows:

• for the next 4 rows - 5 times (you get 86 loops).
• for the next 4 rows - 6 times (you get 98 loops).
• for the next 4 rows - 7 times (you get 110 loops).
