Yes, and in the end, who likes what: someone likes a small nose, someone - more, someone has thicker lips, someone - thinner ... So doll faces are a matter of taste.

So, the head blank was formed:

In general, the painting of the doll's face is mine. favourite hobby. The face seems to come to life, becomes expressive, voluminous. I apply makeup with dry shadows, blush. I paint my face and cover it with hairspray or acrylic varnish for guard acrylic paints(Of course, spray varnish).

I glue my eyes. The eyes were preliminarily stuck from plastic, then painted. Now I already have eyelet blanks, and I don’t spend time creating them, I just select which ones are more suitable for the image. I glue the eyes on the glue moment-gel. You can also use hot glue, it’s just that sometimes it’s lazy for me to turn on the gun and wait until it warms up. So: the eyes are glued, once again I paint the face, let's say, I correct the makeup, and once again I varnish it. The eyes must be closed with something so that the shine does not become cloudy, for example, with pieces of masking tape or pieces of electrical tape.

And now the ears. I saw several ways to form the ears, but either I'm doing something wrong, or the methods are the same, but I didn't really like these ears - they turn out to be somehow not real. This is the first time I've done as described below, and I liked the result. It seemed to me that making ears in this way is easier, and they turn out more natural. However, this is again a matter of taste.

I cut out a circle from the tights, put a piece of synthetic winterizer on it, fold the circle in half, stitch the edge and pull it together so that the detail resembles an ear.

Then I sew along the rim, as if I were embroidering the rim of the ear. At the same time, I don’t pierce the ear through, I have a seam only on one side.

And then with a stitch I bend the ear blank. I don't know how to explain it, it looks better in the photo, I guess. I showed how the needle goes. The first shows the back side of the ear, the second shows the front.

Well, now I sew the ears to the head.

Now it's time for the hair. By chance, I got a yarn, I don’t know at all what it’s called, it was positioned for me as a yarn that is knitted into the heel of a sock. It is synthetic, it is very easily divided into fibers, and this is why I liked it in the manufacture of hair. It looks like this:

The hair of the two baby dolls was done differently. For the first baby, I cut the thread into segments of about one and a half centimeters, smeared the head with PVA glue, sprinkled the thread with chopped crumbs. I solved the task of fixing the threads for some time as follows - I wrapped the threads around my head like a ball and left it overnight,

took off the threads this morning.

For the second baby, she made wefts: she wrapped a thread on her finger, sewed it together, in fact, she simply grabbed the threads together, only then she took it off her finger and glued it to her head. I got carried away, and this process was not photographed

Next, I make the body. I wrap the wire frame with synthetic winterizer. To make the synthetic winterizer go smaller, I laid foam rubber inside. When the body is completely wrapped, you need to walk over it with a felting needle. And then I start to fit tights. I am sewing these tights for the body.

And I start to pull the handles. My dolls are small, 20-25 cm, so I made the handles in a simplified version, i.e. I didn’t sew a glove, but covered the handles with a “pipe” of tights, and then tightened the interdigital spaces. Then you can sew dimples on the bones and folds on the fingers, as I did. With these weights, the handles look plump and touching. Especially after coloring.

I stretch my legs. At the same time, I try to ensure that the seam on the tights falls under the toes. Then it will not be visible after ducklings.

Next, I tighten my knees, elbows, navel, buttocks .... Then I tint and paint the body. I cover it with varnish in the same way as the face. And voila! Before me is the sweetest creature - my Angel
