Woolen painting for those who do not have an artistic gift, but really want to learn the wonderful art of needlework

You will need:

  • Photo frame;
  • Manicure scissors;
  • Wool for felting;
  • Tweezers;
  • Iron;
  • Glue stick;
  • Viscose napkin;
  • Small clips (paper clips).

How to make a picture step by step:

  1. Disassemble the frame. Put a napkin on a wooden or cardboard base of the frame, secure it carefully with paper clips.
  2. Wrap the wool of the background chosen for the base tightly around the index finger, sequentially pinch off the material in pieces.
  3. Put the prepared strands on a napkin, secure with glue. It is important that the edges of the wool extend 1-2 cm beyond the base of the frame.
  4. Lay out the background in a darker shade from the edge corners of the picture, reduce to the middle color range the introduction of lighter colors. We lightly fix each strand with glue.
  5. After the base has dried, iron it through a clean sheet of paper. The process fixes the wool after just two strokes of the hot iron.
  6. We also consistently lay out the plucked strands of the selected pattern further. Each element of the drawing is ironed through a blank sheet of paper.
  7. Remove excess hairs with scissors. Visually, a drawing to give volume can be done by rolling the strands in the palm of your hand in one direction. If you twist in different directions, the strand unwinds.
  8. After finishing the painting, iron it again with an iron, this will remove the volume and excess hairiness. We cut off excess hairs and imprecise contours with nail scissors.

Put glass neatly on the picture, cut off the hairs along the edges. Close with a frame.

What tools are needed

For work you will need:

  1. First of all, the basis for the future picture is needed - a frame for glass 30 by 40 cm, you can focus on the size of an ordinary A4 paper sheet. A regular photo frame will work as well.
  2. For the purpose of attaching the original material, we use viscose napkins or non-woven fabric.
  3. When applying smaller pieces of wool, leveling parts, tweezers come in handy.
  4. You can trim excess hairs without breaking the ornament with nail scissors. Office scissors come in handy for coarser cuts of material.
  5. Regime adjustable iron - for smoothing individual picture elements.
  6. Dry pencil glue will perfectly fix the component parts of the drawing.

to create masterpieces you need certain tools

In the dry felting technique, types of wool are widely used:

  1. Sliver is a white woolen thread without guard hairs. Suitable as a basis for drawing.
  2. Troitskaya - rough, dyed factory wool, many thick fibers. It is mainly used to create toys.
  3. Merino sheep - wool of a uniform color, consists of thin and soft to the touch curls. It is characterized by elasticity. It is widely used in the felting technique.
  4. Mohair is the wool of an angora goat. Light, silky, with long hairs.
  5. Semenovskaya - angora wool and Australian merino are used in the composition. Factory dyeing in warmer colors, guard fibers are encountered.
  6. New Zealand Sheep is characterized by an exceptional white shade. Thin and strong, long and wavy. It has antibacterial properties, hypoallergenic. Excellent heat retention, used in the manufacture of blankets.
  7. Carded cotton wool has a loose structure and lends itself well to felling. Gives woolen paintings a watercolor effect.

DIY woolen watercolor

When creating a painting " Winter forest in the morning "use carded cotton wool or felt.

Necessary:

  • Drawing - a plot for a picture;
  • Frame;
  • Warp wool white, brown and blue shades;
  • Scissors;
  • Soap.

With due diligence, the picture can turn out to be simply charming.

How to do:

  1. Take the cardboard base of the frame, wet a bar of soap, rub the base.
  2. Make strands from a piece of white wool, pulling them out by the last hairs of the skein.
  3. Lay out horizontally along the base, then vertically matched colors of the blue background of the picture, forming the sky. The cardboard base should not show through. Make the edges of the hairs protruding from the base.
  4. Put a white spool in the right corner of the picture, on top of it there are several hairs of a blue-blue hue. It turns out a white oval of the winter sun, covered with clouds.
  5. To make the pattern smooth, from time to time in the process of work we press the laid out wool with our hand.
  6. Pulling the hairs out of a woolen skein, by rolling them with our hands, we form flagella - the image of a clear line of the image of a tree and branches.
  7. Portraying voluminous hats snow on tree branches, finely chop chaotic wool shavings from 2 to 3 mm in size with scissors. Here you can put barely noticeable pellets of red mountain ash under the white background of snow.
  8. By applying glass to the picture, lightly press down on the drawing, this will allow you to see inaccuracies for their subsequent elimination.
  9. If you wish, you can make animals or a bird sitting on a tree in the picture by forming the corresponding color of the flagella and fluffing them in the middle. Use black wool for the nose and eyes.
  10. Fasten finished easy craft spraying hairspray. Place under glass.

Making a painting in the style of "watercolor" is great for winter drawing images.

Woolen painting: mk how to create a flower

The composition is quite accessible for creativity with children's hands under the competent correction of adults. If you follow the instructions, working with wool will seem like a fun and unusual game.

Necessary:

  • Klyamer frame (with clamps);
  • Non-woven for backing;
  • Scissors;
  • Tweezers;
  • Six for a white and light yellow background;
  • Wool for drawing (shades of green, colors of the future flower).

The composition is quite accessible for creativity with children's hands under the competent correction of adults

What to do:

  1. Draw a white background for the image. Pulling the woolen thread from the skein, fluff it a little with your fingers and lay it on the base, fix the first layer with glue.
  2. At the bottom of the picture, mix the yellow and white villi, starting with half of the picture.
  3. Lay out the grass with pieces of wool, cutting them chaotically with 3 mm scissors.
  4. Form the stem of the flower. Pinch off several fibers of different shades of green. Twist them into a twig with your palms. Place on the image, carefully shape the stem with tweezers.
  5. To form the petals, take a wide strand of the desired color. Spread the fibers well in the palm of your hand. Outline required size petal, cutting off with scissors at both ends.
  6. Place the petal on the surface, use tweezers to push the fibers apart.
  7. In the middle of the flower, put a small skein of wool matted in a circle. For a graceful natural look, add a couple of bristles of a similar color to each petal.
  8. With a darker shade of wool, you can shade the contours of the flower image.
  9. During work, periodically apply glass to the drawing. This will ensure a snug fit of the wool and allow timely detection of an error in the execution of the picture. After finishing the painting, clamp it under glass with clippers, trim off excess wool around the edges.

Without limiting the child's imagination, flowers of other colors can be added to the same picture. For example, chrysanthemums are organically suited to bright red poppies. The multistage petals of such a flower can be easily made by twisting wool of similar shades with thin flagella, and superimposing on each other. And by twisting the tips of the three petals a little with tweezers, you can depict a tulip.

Light autumn landscape do-it-yourself felted wool

Drawing autumn and nature, we take thin felt and Trinity wool as a basis. To create a believable effect, it is recommended to cut the leaves before the formation of flagella-trees in the picture. This format visually creates the range of the image in the work.

You will need:

  • Frame with glass;
  • A piece of felt;
  • Manicure scissors, tweezers;
  • The coat is red, orange, yellow, green, burgundy and white. For trees, take brown tones;
  • Polish for hair.

Drawing autumn landscape, under the basis we take thin felt and trinity wool

How to do:

  1. Cover the entire felt backing with a light shade, leaving a little white background. Be sure to lay out the strands horizontally.
  2. Lay out the sketch of the drawing itself in a darker tone, adjusting the height of the woolen strands with tweezers.
  3. We form an element of decor of tree branches with an appropriate brown tone, twisting it into stripes with our palms. When applying to the image, correct with tweezers and press down with your hand.
  4. Leaves - cut pieces of wool with scissors directly into the image, removing excess hairs with tweezers. When shaping the leaves, we use three different colors to make the drawing believable.
  5. Form the fruits of the tree into small pellets, scattering them over the branches.
  6. Around the image - a tree with leaves, you can make a small lawn by mixing hairs of brown and green wool. We form flower petals in small pieces, and drop-down buds - in pellets.
  7. Trim the hairs again before placing the design under the glass.

Cover the finished work with glass and frame.

It is quite possible that summer will come someday in the middle lane. So, it still makes sense to put bread kvass. It will take at least a week to prepare a good starter culture, and as forecasters promise, by that time the air temperature should rise above 20 C (during the day).

How to prepare a starter culture for
homemade bread kvass

Ingredients:

  • 2 liters of cold water;
  • 0.5 loaves of Borodino bread or 100 grams of rye flour + 100 grams of rye bread;
  • 4 tablespoons of granulated sugar;
  • 3 grams of yeast.
  • Cooking time - 5-6 days

How to put kvass:

  • Fry flour or slices of bread until they darken (but not charred, with black bread it is sometimes difficult to understand: it is simply fried or has already burnt).
  • Dissolve yeast and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar in lukewarm water.
  • After 10 minutes, add a third of the flour or breadcrumbs.
  • Drain almost all the water, add the same amount of fresh water, another spoonful of sugar and another third of crackers or flour with breadcrumbs.
    And insist again for a couple of days.
    Drain again, add the remaining crackers (or flour with breadcrumbs) and sugar. And pour fresh water again.
    During this time, the leaven will lose its insolent yeast taste and unpleasant bitterness, and it will be possible to put drinking kvass on it. To do this, every 1.5-2 days, water, sugar to taste and a large handful of fresh rye crackers will need to be added to a three-liter jar with prepared sourdough, after removing a few old soaked and sank to the bottom. For taste, you can add raisins, mint, ginger, honey ...
  • Wool painting "Poppies". Master class with step by step photo

    Marshalova Natalia Grigorievna, educator, Non-judicial educational preschool"JSC" Russian Railways " Kindergarten No. 203 Abakan
    Target: Making a picture from wool.
    Tasks: Develop Creative skills invention and fantasy, aesthetic taste, the ability to see beauty.
    My master class is designed for all creative teachers who love to do needlework. You can decorate the room with this picture, and it is also a great gift.
    Technique of execution:"Woolen painting"
    Nowadays it has become very fashionable to make paintings using such an unconventional material as wool. For such paintings, non-spun wool is used, using it in work, a pictorial canvas is created, without brushes, paints, pencils or water, by the method of layering colored sheep's wool.
    I have long wanted to draw poppies, and only using this interesting stuff like wool I was able to make my dream come true.
    Poppy is fragile and short-lived, but we like it for its tenderness, beauty, despite the fact that in nature it seemed there are more luxurious flowers. Many famous artists painted these wonderful flowers such as: Van Gogh, Claude Monet, Henri Matisse, Lyubov Popova and others. Fields with poppies were not captured only by the lazy one. Without a doubt, one of the main virtues of the poppy is its stunning beauty. Finely woven from tongues of flame, this flower is loved by gardeners and florists. He is the decoration of any flower bed, expressive, noble. And interior designers, developing projects in a minimalist style or in high-tech solutions, often include poppy in a floral composition.
    V different countries this flower is a different symbol, for example, in Egypt, the poppy served as a symbol of beauty, youth and charm for women. Today poppy is associated with unlimited freedom, "fresh" mood and overflowing optimism.
    I would like to bring to your attention my very first and favorite painting "Poppies".

    On thin green legs
    In new patent leather boots
    Slender beauties -
    Poppies are called.
    In bright scarlet skirts
    And tube stamens.
    - Ah! - exclaimed the bee.
    - I drank your juice all day.
    How delicious it was:
    Magic lured into sleep.
    I'm dreaming now
    And with happiness I melt, I melt ...
    You will need:
    Felting wool (combed ribbon) different colors: red, black, yellow, different shades of green.
    Photo frame 30 x 40;
    Tweezers, non-woven or white flannel, the size of a frame, scissors (photo 2)

    We glue non-woven or flannel onto cardboard; it is designed to "hold" the woolen fibers on itself. The work surface is ready. (photo 3)

    We spread the wool on the prepared surface. We start laying out the picture from top to bottom. From the combed ribbon, we begin to pull out thin woolen strands and distribute them from left to right, slightly overlapping each other. You can lay out strands of different shades. It turns out the background is the sky. (Photo 4)

    Draw out thin strands of blue and white wool, mix them, form fluffy clouds. (Photo 5)

    Continuing to use the method of "pulling the wool" we spread the grass on the working surface, mixing yellow, dark and light green strands of wool. (Photo 6)

    We continue to paint with wool. We make poppy stalks, use the method of twisting the wool. Stems of different lengths. (Photo 7)

    We put them on the work surface all in different ways - some bent over, others straight. (Photo 8)

    Let's start laying out the poppies. To do this, draw out strands of red wool. Make a rounded petal shape using scissors. The number of petals for each poppy is different, lay out the poppies closed and open. (photo 9)

    We spread the poppies on the work surface so that the poppies are turned in different ways: they are located under the stems. On the grass, we put thin dark green strands of wool. (photo 10)

    Let's start laying out the poppy box. We use the method of "plucking" the wool. It is done like this: a combed ribbon is taken in one hand, bent and with the fingers of the other hand we pluck the surface hairs of the ribbon with frequent quick movements. A fluffy lump forms in our hands, which we put on the work surface. (Photo 11)

    Using tweezers, lay out the middle of the poppies, using the method of "plucking" the wool. (Photo 12)

    Let's bring the picture to life. Using the technique of "cutting" the wool, lay out the middle of the flowers.
    (photo 13)

    We supplement the poppies with chamomiles. To do this, we cut small locks of wool and make them some rounded, others twisted. We spread closed and open daisies on the work surface. (photo 14)

    We form the middle of the chamomile, using the technique of "plucking" the wool. (photo 15)

    Add strands of yellow and black wool to the flowers. (photo 16), (photo 17)

    The finished picture must be placed in a frame; for this, it is necessary to apply plexiglass and clamp it with clamps. Advice for needlewomen: do not be afraid to make a mistake, because you can always "rewind" the process back. It is enough to remove part of the wool layer or those details that did not work out. (photo 18)

    Nowadays it is very popular to make paintings out of wool using the dry method (not felting). Non-spun wool is used to create paintings. The paintings were made with tweezers and scissors.

    Painting with wool- this is a special way of creating a painting without the use of brushes, paints, pencils or water, by layering colored sheep's wool.

    We offer a master class from Alexandra Fedorova "Poppies".

    To paint a picture with wool, we need:

    - clip frame of the required size(it consists of hardboard (fiberboard), glass, clamps), my size is 21x30cm

    - non-woven or flannel(as a substrate)

    - scissors(to cut wool)

    - tweezers(for laying out small parts)

    - wool of different colors(for the background, you can use any other colors (I used the following - light yellow, yellow, orange, pink, green); for the poppies themselves, only 2 colors were used - bright red (scarlet) and dark red; for foliage, boxes and the stems need wool of green, yellow-green (or just light green - any shade) and brown)

    Working hours: 2-3 hours

    Complexity: 1 ( the master class is recommended for beginners without experience in this technique ).

    photos 2 and 3. This is a ready-made background for poppies. Detailed description laying out the background (background of the picture) can be seen in the master class "WINTER NIGHT" - this is a fairly easy, preparatory stage in drawing a picture with wool. If something is not entirely clear, write, call - I will answer.

    You can take completely different colors (for example, a green and blue background would look very nice). I just wanted to take a positive yellow color for my painting.

    Photo 4. To form a poppy stalk, take a lock of wool (2 shades of green).

    photo 5. We twist this strand and get a stalk.

    photo 6. We put the resulting stems on the work surface (background of the picture), while bending them in the right places.

    photo 7. For the formation of poppy petals, a strand (wide enough, of medium thickness) of scarlet wool is needed.

    Photos 8 and 9. Cut out the petals of the desired shape from this strand:

    Photo 10. We put the finished petals on the surface and we get such a flower (more precisely, the shape of the flower - the petals are not really visible yet).

    Photo 11. In order for the flower to receive volume and the petals to become visible, you need dark red wool. We highlight with dark wool lower part flower and draw veins. This is done very simply - pinch off thin strands and put them in the right place.

    photo 12. Do not forget to apply glass - under it you can see the final result of your work

    photo 13. If you feel that you need to add more dark color - add, do not be afraid; excess strands can always (neatly) be removed.

    Photo 14. As a result, we get such a flower. There is already form and volume here.

    Photo 15. In the same way, lay out the second and all subsequent flowers.

    Photo 16. To draw a poppy bud you need wool of 2 colors (scarlet and green).

    Photo 17. Fold a strand of scarlet wool in half (do the same with green):

    Photo 18. We put the scarlet blank into the green blank to make it look like in the photo (cut off the excess):

    Photo 20. The box (lower round part) is formed like poppy petals - it is cut from a strand of green (several shades of green). To make a "cap" ( top part), a strand of green and brown wool is cut and stacked as in the photo.

    photo 21. Now we spread the already fading poppy flower, where the formed box with seeds will already be visible. The flower is formed in the same way as the previous ones (all the petals are cut out), only the petals farthest from us are laid out first. Then we spread the box directly on them, and cover them with poppy petals closest to us (photo 22). And, of course, you need to add a dark red color to the base of the flower and in some places along the petals - so that the volume is felt and the petals are more noticeable.

    photo 23. And now the finished composition.

    The green leaves of the poppy are drawn very easily, intuitively - you tear off short strands and put them in a "ladder", forming carved leaves.

    Photo 24. Pay attention: along the contour of the poppy petals (upper edges), a dark red frame is added in the form of a thin strand-thread. The question is, why? In order for the petals themselves (their contour) to have a more distinct rounded shape. If this is not done, then upon closer examination of the picture, the upper edges of the petals will be "torn" (but this, in principle, is not very striking). And so by adding a dark red outline, the effect of "torn edges" is noticeably smoothed out.

    Master Class

    for making flowers using the "Felting" technique

    "Poppies"

    Developer: Vlasova Darina Vasilievna

    Technology teacher

    MBOU (C) OSH "Nadezhda"

    G. Simferopol, Republic of Crimea

    Wallow- an old and fairly widespread type of folk art.

    This is a special technique of needlework, in the process of which a pattern is created from wool for felting on fabric or felt, voluminous toys, panels, decorative items, garments or accessories. Only natural woolhas the ability to fall.

    Humans discovered the ability of wool to fall off about 8,000 years ago. Found remains of animal hair were used for felting. After the domestication of small ruminants, it became possible to use sheared animal hair.

    At a circle, at school, with children, it is also not difficult to do this for any holiday, besides, felting classes are very exciting for them, although they require perseverance, the result cannot but rejoice!

    There are two types of felting:dry and wet... At dry felting the wool is repeatedly pierced with a special needleto a stall condition.Wet felting is carried out using soapy water.

    Before we get down to the process of creating poppies, let's get acquainted with the tools:

    For dry felting:

    Felting needles - a thin tool similar to the letter L and provided with small notches. 2 pcs. different markings.

    Dyed wool

    Sponge

    For wet felting:

    Dyed wool

    Soap solution

    Net

    Oilcloth

    For the trunk:

    Rod wire (we have grape wire);

    Adhesive plaster for attaching leaves and flowers;

    Floral ribbon

    Scissors

    For registration:

    Beads for stamens

    Thread floss

    It is necessary to follow the rules of safe work with sharp and cutting objects (scissors and needles);

    - The presence of a backing is an important aspect of felting safety. It should protect both your fingers and the desktop surface from possible punctures. In our case, this is an ordinary bath sponge;

    Also, when working with wool, your hands should be clean;

    When working with soapy water, it is better to use gloves to avoid allergic reactions.

    Our master class is divided into 4 stages: Making Flowers, Making Leaves, Making Centers and Making Poppy.

    There will be 3 flowers in our bouquet, each flower has 4 petals. So, we need to make 12 petals of approximately the same size. We make petals using the "WET FILLING" technique

    Step 1.

    We prepare the surface on which we will work. Then we prepare necessary materials, so as not to be distracted in the process: soap, water, wool, bubble wrap, net.

    Step 2.

    Lay out the wool fibers on a bubble wrap. Apply the second one across the first layer. So we spread 3-4 layers. This arrangement will allow for better felting of the petal, the fibers will not flake off.

    Step 3.

    For the realism of our composition, we think over the veins of the petals and shade them with a different color - white and green

    Step 4.

    We soak the layout of the wool with hot soapy water, cover it with a mesh, then stroke it with gentle movements and three in different directions, gradually increasing the pressure. We roll the petals into a roll and roll it many times (50-100) to remove excess water.

    It should be borne in mind that with wet felting, wool settles by 30 - 40%.

    Rinse the finished petal with warm water and DO NOT Squeeze it, leave it to dry.

    Next, we proceed to the leaves for our poppy. We will make the leaves in the same way using the "WET FILLING" technique. The required amount is 7 pieces. We do the same work as with the petal:

    We form poppy leaves, they should be different shapes... also, our leaves have a different color, at the top - lighter, at the bottom - darker.

    We proceed to the stamens. We will perform them using the "DRY FALLING" technique. Because we have 3 flowers, we need to make 3 poppy boxes. For realism, the trim will be made of black beads and floss threads.

    Step 1.

    Separating the wool, a little three of it in the palms, tangling the fibers. Then we roll it up into a ball, stick the needle deeply, compacting the workpiece inside.

    Step 2.

    Thus, our ball is compacted, and the workpiece is leveled. In case of strong compaction, we change the needle to a thinner one. If the ball does not deform when pressed, the process can be considered finished.

    Step 3.

    We decorate the middle. We wrap, visually forming a poppy box, with floss threads, sew beads along the edges.

    Step 1.

    We form a flower. Sew the petals to the center with a thread. We put 4 petals on top of each other, insert the poppy middle into the center, and sew the petals with the middle with a thin needle.

    Step 2.

    We attach the flower head to the wire with a plaster, fasten it tightly so that the flower head does not stagger, is stable. We wrap the entire barrel with a plaster to remove the wire bump.

    Step 3.

    We wrap the trunk with a green floral tape, and attach the leaves, 2 - 3 pieces per branch. This completes the assembly of our flower.

    We straighten the flower: We straighten the leaves, bend the petals as we like - and now, our poppy is ready for presentation! And so, we got 3 poppy flowers, the height of which is 25 - 30 cm, the width of the open flower is 8 - 15 cm.

    I wish you creative success !!!
