Volumetric snowflake

Now that we have been inspired and realized that we need a little more snowflakes than it seemed at first glance, let's move on to a higher level and try to knit something more complicated. For example, volumetric snowflake(for warm-up).

It will serve as a cute decoration for the Christmas tree, a great addition to any gift or children's toy.

In addition to a hook and thick threads or yarn, you will need a needle and a padding polyester.

We knit a ring of six loops and add as usual - one row in each of the loops. Then we begin to shift the loop, which we will double. That is, we make an increase first through one loop, in the next row through two, then through three. And so on until we get 48 loops. The first part is ready, now you need to tie the second one. We put them together and sew with a single crochet until a small hole remains. Through it we stuff a synthetic winterizer into the base of the future snowflake and sew it to the end.

We begin to knit rays: 1 single crochet - three air loops - double crochet in the 3rd loop at the base. Next, we collect 8 air loops and knit a double crochet into this loop. Again 3 air loops and a double crochet in the third loop of the base. And so on until the end.

Now we pass the connecting posts into the arch and perform the following steps:

• in an arch of three loops we knit 4 columns with a crochet and a pico of three loops;
• in an arch of eight loops we knit a double crochet, then 2 more double crochets, 1 picot, 3 more double crochets;
• we knit 3 pico in a row, in the same arch we knit 3 double crochet, pico, 3 double crochet;
• we knit picot and in an arch of three loops - three columns with a crochet.

Repeat the steps for the rest of the rays.

The snowflake is almost ready - it remains to decorate it. You can make a face, as in the picture, with the help of threads or beads, you can embroider with beads or leave it snow-white - it all depends on your imagination and preferences.

Candlestick "Snowflake"

We offer you a budget, but very nice gift option for friends on New Year. Such candlesticks with candles will decorate a chest of drawers, shelves and, of course, the New Year's table.

To begin with, we knit a chain of 11-13 air loops and close it with a connecting column.

Row 1. 3 chain lift loops (instead of the 1st double crochet), 31 double crochets in the ring. We complete the row with a connecting column in the third lifting loop.

Row 2. 1 lifting air loop, 11 air loops, then perform the following steps and repeat them six times: skip 3 double crochets of the previous row, in the fourth we knit a single crochet, 11 air loops.

Row 3. Air lifting loop, 5 single crochet in the arch from the air loops of the previous row, 2 air loops, 6 single crochet in the same arch. So we knit in each arch of the previous row, instead of a lifting loop, we now perform a single crochet. We finish the row with a connecting column in the lifting loop and cut the thread.

We attach the thread to one of the columns with a crochet of the first row and perform the second and third rows again.

Row 4. We attach the thread to the arch of the air loops of the third row (choose any petal). We knit 3 lifting air loops and 3 air loops, a double crochet in the same arch, 2 air loops. The following steps will need to be performed and repeated 14 more times: double crochet in the arch of two air loops of the next “petal”, 3 air loops, double crochet in the same arch, 2 air loops. We end the row with a connecting column in the 3rd lifting air loop.

Row 5.
