Gift wrapper in a balloon - model ZIBI BVK - classic vacuum sealer, produced since 1996 by ZIBI Balloon Accessories (Germany - Switzerland). The purpose of the packer is to "stick" balls and gifts into special translucent "packers" balls, 18 "in size.

Ball Packer Technical Data:

Filling for packing ball

Sometimes you have to pack non-standard items in a ball: dummies of fruits, bottles of alcohol, banknotes (many), etc.

Before packing, you should feel the surface of the gift and make sure that it does not contain burrs, clips, staples or other sharp parts that could damage the wrapper ball.

The design and operation of the packer

The body of the packer is made of transparent plastic and consists of upper and lower detachable parts. During storage and transportation of the packer, the upper part is turned over and lowered into lower part... In the working position, the body tightness is ensured by a seal.

On the upper part of the body there is a throat and two petal valves. The neck of the ball is put on the neck, and the valves release air from the body during the work of the packer.

The neck is closed with a transparent cap to which the hose is connected. The other end of the hose has a tapered tip that fits the spout of any ZIBI compressor. Unfortunately, the hose tip is not suitable for other manufacturers' air compressors.

The principle of operation is as follows.

The ball is put on the neck and closed with a cap located on the hose. The other end of the hose is put on the compressor, and the balloon begins to inflate.

The balloon inflated inside the packer body expands and displaces air from the packer body. Air exits the housing through lobe valves.

When the balloon is fully inflated, it fits snugly against the walls of the body so that there is almost no air between the walls of the balloon and the body, i.e. a kind of "vacuum" is formed. Therefore, the packer is called vacuum. In fact: there is no vacuum there, but there is air with a pressure less than atmospheric.

The compressor is turned off and the cap is removed from the neck. However, the ball still fits snugly against the walls of the housing. The point is that the air pressure inside the ball is greater than the air pressure outside the ball. Flap valves do not allow air to enter the packer body, so the ball can remain in an extended state for quite a long time.

Small balloons, a soft toy, sweets (optional) are pushed into the balloon through the neck of the packer. The ball can contain anything that passes through the neck with a diameter of 12.5 cm.

As a result, the ball is tied and any petal valve is opened: air enters the space between the ball and the body, and the upper part of the body is itself separated from the lower part. A bow is tied to the ball, the ball is placed on a stand.

Preparation for work

The packer must be located on a clean, level and horizontal surface with dimensions of at least 1.2 x 1.2 m (preferably on a table) and brought into working position. Make sure that there is no dust or debris on the inner walls of the packer's case. It is also necessary to check the serviceability of the petal valves.

The ZIBI compressor is located on the table, the hose tip is tightly put on the compressor nose, the compressor is connected to an electrical outlet.

The ball is pulled over the pins of the packer's neck, and in a certain sequence (see figure). When all the pins are filled, the ball neck is finally tucked into the neck in any order.

It is recommended to stretch the neck of the packing ball before putting it on the neck of the packer. To do this, the index and middle fingers of both hands are pushed into the inside of the neck of the ball and strongly stretched several times.

Inflating, filling and tying the wrapper ball

The mouth of the packer is closed with a lid. The cover is pressed tightly against the neck and the compressor is turned on. The balloon is inflated until its walls come into contact with the body of the packer. Then the compressor is turned off and the cover is removed. The flap valves should close immediately and atmospheric pressure will press the ball against the walls of the body.

A pre-prepared filling is placed in the inflated balloon: balloons and gifts. Then the neck of the ball is carefully removed from the pins of the neck of the packer.

Fingers of one hand tightly clasp the neck of the ball, and with the other hand open any petal valve. Air enters the body and the top of the body rises. Intercepting the neck of the ball, the upper part of the body is removed from the ball and removed.

If necessary, bleed air from the balloon until it takes the desired shape. Next, the wrapper ball is tied in the usual way. Straighten the bow and tie it to the neck of the wrapping ball. If desired, you can tie a four or five balls 5 ", or hearts 6" on the neck of the ball of the packer.

Necessary materials:

1. Large transparent ball - 1 pc. (when buying, do not be alarmed, it is yellow-dirty-gray in color, somewhat similar to the color of an ordinary finger-holder). In the shops "All for the Holiday" it is called "surprise ball"
2. Small colored balls - 20 pcs. (colors are optional)
3. Hand pump (optional for those who are confident in their lungs). Small balloons are almost impossible to inflate in the usual way, which is why a hand pump is needed.

I will show you how to make a surprise balloon using the example of an ordinary white ball and 5 small colored balls (the principle will be clear).

I must say right away that a surprise balloon differs from a regular balloon in the width of the neck, which makes the process easier

Step 1

First of all, we inflate our large balloon and hold it, without tying it, for about 2 minutes. This is necessary so that the balloon stretches and becomes more elastic, so that in the future it will be easier for us to work with it. We blow it off and proceed to the next stage.

Step 2

We push the small (blue) ball into the neck of the large ball. We hold both necks so that small ball didn't slip into the big one.

Step 3

Take the pump and inflate the blue balloon, holding the neck of the large one.

We push the next small (yellow) ball into the neck of the large ball. It will already be difficult to inflate the third balloon just like that. To give the third balloon space, we inflate our large balloon in the most usual way (I explain why not with a pump - it is very difficult to press the surprise balloon tightly against the neck of the pump, therefore it is easier and faster to inflate it with the help of our native lungs). We inflate quite a bit, while holding the yellow ball aside with our finger. We intercept both necks more comfortably and inflate the yellow balloon.

Now it will inflate easily.
