Execution sequence
1. Cut out a circle from thick cardboard - the basis of our souvenir. Can be any size, please circle the appropriate item round shape. From a synthetic winterizer (you can also use thin foam rubber, a cotton pad), we cut out the same circle.
2. Cut out a circle from yellow fabric bigger size, allowance 1-1.5 cm.

3. On a cardboard circle we impose a detail from a synthetic winterizer, on top a circle of fabric, turn it over. Now the detail - a circle of fabric must be collected and pulled together with a seam over the edge. After tightening, do not forget to fasten the thread with a looped seam.

In order to make the part more even, you can also tighten the opposite sides of the circle in several places.

If desired, this stage can be replaced by working with glue. To do this, we make cuts on a circle of fabric, not reaching the base (a circle of cardboard) 0.2-0.3 cm. Then we fix the allowances with glue on the wrong side.

4. We make rays for our sun.
To do this, cut out a rectangle 3-4 cm wide from a yellow fabric (dense, such as Gabardine), but the length depends on the size of the base circle. Let adults help you calculate: the size of the circle is 3.14xd (the diameter of the circle). Add 2 cm to the result - this will be the length of our rectangle. We begin to pull out one thread along the rectangle (along the length). Continue until 0.5-0.7 cm of tissue remains intact. It turned out to be a fringe.

Glue the fringe on the wrong side around the circle.

5. Glue a wooden skewer.

6. From thick fabric or yellow cardboard, cut out a circle a little less warp, glue it from the wrong side, closing the junction of the rays and sticks (skewers).

7. It remains to draw eyes and a mouth for our sun. For work we use decorative contours, you can simply use acrylic paint and a brush.

2. Woolen threads cut off 17-18 cm long, about 100 pieces - these are the rays of the sun.

3. We wrap each ray around the ring, making a loop and tightening it.

4. We decorate the rays of our sun - we take 15 rays in a pile and tie them in the middle with a thread.

5. For the face, cut out a circle from yellow cardboard according to a circle pattern.
6. Glue the base of the sun onto yellow cardboard for the face of the sun.
7. We make out the face of the sun - eyes, mouth.

Many generations of our ancestors throughout the long days of winter were looking forward to the arrival of warm days and the return of the red sun. They embroidered solar motifs on clothes, towels, tablecloths, carved the sun on wooden utensils. And my son and I decided to make another sun, but this time from threads. And since during the creation we got a taste, we got two whole sun from threads. We will show you both options.

We start making the sun with a face. We cut out a circle from cardboard, which we paste over with orange colored paper. We draw the face of the sun.

To create do-it-yourself crafts from ribbons - "Sun" - you will need:

Multi-colored garbage bags - I have yellow and orange (you can look for bags of any shades of red);

A colored emoticon printed on photographic paper, which will be the face of the Sun (diameter is approximately 8 cm);

Cardboard ring, the same diameter;

A circle of thick paper (for me - from wallpaper) for the back, diameter 9-10 cm;

Decor elements - ribbons, flowers, bows, butterflies;

Thin stick made of wood;

Scissors;

Glue (I have Titanium for tiles in a syringe), you can use hot glue in a gun or Moment;

A napkin, a trash box, a film for an open syringe with glue, so as not to stain the table.

First you need to prepare a large number of pack ribbons. They are made in this way: take the package and spread it out in length (without unfolding, let it remain “compressed”). Then cut it crosswise into ribbons 1.5-2 cm wide.

These short ribbons can be unfolded and you get large rings - the width of the package. Fold these rings in this way and cut - each will make 4 ribbons for work.

When the required number of ribbons is ready (in my case, there are 2 yellow ribbons per orange, but you can take other proportions or one color), start stringing them on a ring.

This is done in this way: we take 3 ribbons together (2 yellow, 1 orange), fold them in half, insert the fold into the central hole of the ring, and thread the ends of the ribbons into this fold.

Slightly tighten so that the ribbons do not tear - they are quite thin;

We continue to work, shifting the ribbons tightly or more freely - as you like.

In the end result, you should get such a ring.

If there is a desire, the “rays” of the Sun can be trimmed, but I liked this “disheveled” one. Then, using glue, glue the cut out emoticon on the front side. Glue on reverse side smiley should be applied only along the edge. To better grab - you need to press the emoticon through a napkin and hold it.

Then turn the craft over and glue the stick to the base. And on top - the back - a circle of wallpaper. We press again and wait for the stick to stick and hold the “Sun”. Then we turn the craft face up again and use glue to decorate with flowers, ribbons and other bright elements.

After the final drying of the craft, we put it in place - we stick it into the ground in a flower pot. Such a positive and bright decoration we made it!

What else can you come up with on the basis of such crafts? Instead of a stick, you can stick a ribbon, then you will get a charming Sun that can be hung on the wall. And if you stick a magnet - a positive Sun can be attached to the refrigerator.
